This rural, loft cabin is simply spectacular. Located in the heart of the Trevallyn bushland, this home overlooks the surrounding Tasmanian flora, whilst also being a frequent stopping point for many species of native wildlife. Sit back and soak up the serenity on the beautiful deck outside, enjoy a tasty BBQ or woodfire pizza, or a toasted marshmallow on the fire-pit. The interior features a toasty fireplace, north-east facing double height windows, and sun drenched sitting nooks.

The property is surrounded by World Heritage Rainforest which is a result of the protracted Jackeys Marsh Forest Protests. The fresh air, crystal clear water, abundant wildlife and pristine environment are all environmental values prized by the people of Jackeys Marsh. Nestling in a forest of Peppermint Gums is Wylah Cottage, so named after the Aboriginal word for the Yellow Tailed, Black Cockatoo, which is regularly seen and heard around the property. A secluded, self contained, bush retreat, located close to all the good things Tasmania has to offer. On 55 acres of bushland, teeming with wildlife, yet only 7kms from Deloraine – on the way to Cradle Mountain, and 45 minutes to either the Devonport Ferry, or Launceston Airport.
