This is a very special space that felt like home almost immediately! In fact Ian was so friendly and inclusive, we felt like family! The flat itself is fun, quirky and clearly designed to give guests everything required for a fun holiday: pool, games room, spacious deck with barbecue and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The location is fantastic. A variety of beaches to choose from, with wonderful snorkeling. Fantastic value for money, especially as Ian is like a built in information brochure, which is really helpful when you're doing a self driven holiday. Very highly recommend!

The villa’s location in Calodyne is perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere near local attractions and beautiful beaches. We loved exploring the area and enjoying delicious local cuisine. The spacious villa was ideal for us, with generously sized rooms that allowed for privacy while still providing common areas for gathering. The open-plan living and dining space seamlessly connected to the outdoor terrace, making al fresco meals by the pool a joy. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy, and we enjoyed using fresh ingredients from local markets. The pool area was a highlight, surrounded by tropical plants and providing a serene environment for sunbathing and relaxation. Eileen, our host, was exceptional, offering helpful tips on local attractions and activities. Her warm personality made us feel welcomed. Our month-long stay was magical, a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and couple time! Thank you Eileen for your kindness!

We booked this villa as a home base for a wedding weekend, and it exceeded every expectation. The space looked exactly as pictured, ZERO unwanted surprises and was simply gorgeous. Xavier is an exceptional host, always on hand to answer queries. The location couldn’t be better: a quick 5-minute drive (you’ll need a car, as you do across Mauritius) to all Grand Baie’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. What really set this stay apart was the service: two delightful cleaners maintaining the interiors daily, so we never had to worry about a thing and could focus on enjoying our holiday. Although it’s an Airbnb, the level of care and attention feels more like a five-star hotel. We’ll be back in Mauritius... and when we do, we’ll only stay with Xavier!

Great place to stay, very quiet. Great appartment, great pool. Loved the cats ;) If you travel by car you have all you need within just a few minutes of driving. A bit warm during the nights due to the lack of AC, but no big deal. Very satisfied, would like to come back if we return to Mauritius.

Très bel appartement avec tout le confort, très propre et très bien équipé. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Guillaume et avons adoré notre séjour chez nos hôtes .L'appartement est nickel, il est très grand et avec une très belle terrasse. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le site,la plage magnifique et la piscine. Ange er Guillaume ont été très gentils et très réactifs avec beaucoup de bons conseils. Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans soucis ! Il y a toujours des places de parking pour se garer dans un espace sécurisé très appréciable. Bref,c'était que du bonheur !

Emplacement paisible avec un bel environnement et tout proche de pleins d'activités qui correspondaient à nos attentes. La maison est aussi en raccord avec les photos proposées et vous avez tout le necessaire à l'intérieur. L'hôte Mickael est tres serviable et reactif sur les propositions d'activités qu'il reservera pour vous. Il fera tout pour que vous passiez un tres bon moment sur cette ile magnifique avec de tres belles personnes. Lesprit Mauricien est un reel attrait et une belle découverte. Je conseille ce logement et son hôte car vous ne pourrez être que satisfait !

I stayed a month in this beautiful, spacious, peaceful apartment with a lovely large balcony overlooking lush tropical grounds. The beach was across the road from the complex which is in a peaceful residential area, but only a 10 min drive to Grand Baie and large Super U supermarket. There is a parking space for your car hire which the host kindly organised. The host and check in was very smooth and very responsive before and during your stay. The apartment is comfortable and well equiped for your needs and daily cooking. It felt like home and it made my stay so enjoyable and relaxing.
