Vacation rentals in Rosal de la Frontera

Upon arrival a very warm welcome from our host and wife, a start of a fantastic stay, in a beautiful location! Super nice and great furnished cabanas and kitchen. We enjoyed every second on it. We got tips for the surroundings but also for our next destination. We got good and tasty tips for something to eat nearby. Enjoyed the lake and the paddle boat but above all from our mega hospitable host, hostess and their children. Thank you, you have been able to make our holiday unforgettable.

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

Luisa's welcome was great. The little house was very pleasant, clean, and convenient. We loved having the chance to enjoy the terrace and pool, in the smells of orange flowers. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is very clean. The house is quite close to several interesting destinations for the ornithologists that we are. A nice walk in the forest is possible from the doorstep. We know where to stay the next time we come to the area! Thanks Luisa!

We absolutely loved the unique home, beautiful views and tranquility! We would 150% recommend this little paradise! Loved our welcome kit…local bread, great wine bottle and a Portuguese sausage, made a delicious lunch! Francisco was a great host. Amazing house, so different but well worth it

What a special place! In the mountains and so beautiful. Jacqueline and her family were really nice and generous with their time. Definitely would come back again.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was spacious, private, and comfortable—perfect for both sunny and rainy days. It had a cozy atmosphere and offered everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did miss a few basics like kitchen towels, chopping boards, and some cleaning utensils. A few of us also found the bed mattresses and pillows less comfortable than expected. That said, everything else was great, and we’d definitely consider staying here again!

Stunningly beautiful, well equipped and lovingly appointed apartment in the quiet and characterful heart of the old town of Mertola. Wonderfully peaceful. Lots of space and a very kind and helpful host. I could not recommend this place more. An absolute joy.
