María Luisa was a great host. She guided us with directions to her place. It was really lovely seeing old house with excellent architectural details. Loved it. So well located 20 feet away from plaza. Great restaurants, especially Acebuche which was like 10 feet away. The restaurant owners were so personable, let us sample delicacies of the Extremadura area. Wine “la Raya” outstanding. Jesus and Veronica the proprietors, were jokingly teased by the locals about how attentive they were to us. Just two shmos which they treated like VIPs. Loved Maria’s place, loved Acebuche, loved Villanueva de Fresno.

Ideal accommodation to disconnect surrounded by nature

Very large and modern house near the Plaza Redonda which is the heart of Cartaya. Nothing is missing as if we were in our own house. There is a very large patio, a super nice living room and, on the floor, 2 rooms plus an office without forgetting 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has a dishwasher, not very common item in the rental houses. The neighborhood of the house is residential and quiet. Next door is a park and a cafe where you can eat. Cartaya is a charming, all-white, very lively and cheerful city, which has many shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. Also Silvia's house is close to the road that goes to the beautiful and quiet beaches of El Rompido and Nuevo Portil. Thank you to Silvia for her hospitality and advice.

Adelino is a superb host and his villa is amazing. Extremely responsive and was able to answer any questions right away. Very spacious, clean, private and comfortable. The smell of fresh rosemary every morning in the beautiful garden was an added bonus. Close drive to grocery and restaurants. Coast line and Albufeira just 30 mins drive as well. Would highly recommend.

This beautiful cabin was perfect for us. Very secluded and quiet. A little paradise that we had all to ourselves. Unfortunately, we also had very bad weather with storm but we didn't feel uncomfortable for a second. The cabin is extremely stable and the heating also worked perfectly so we didn't have to freeze. We can't wait for our next visit

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful space. Eike and Anna and their family were the warmest, kindest hosts, full of helpful local suggestions and very responsive. The flowers and welcome basket were lovely touches. Attention to detail is excellent, the property is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Two great showers and lots of towels. The location is stunning. We loved eating meals on the terrace with views across the valley, playing basketball, swimming in the pool under the stars, the outdoor shower, using the hammock and exploring the local area. The family have dogs and cats which our kids loved as they were all very gentle and friendly. It’s a 20 minute drive to local shops and restaurants, and the road up to the house is a typical mountain road. Would highly recommend staying here, our teenage daughter described it as “paradise”.

Lovely, peaceful place. Caretaker super nice. Olive tree fields very pretty. Pool not open til summer. Some great restaurants in town.

Space in the countryside, quiet and very cozy, Mr. Fernando is always available for anything we need, recommended great restaurants and places to walk in the surrounding nature. The house is well equipped, it has everything you need for a family stay and even a children's kitchen that my daughter loved to play in.
