Calling groups who love the outdoors in all seasons! A perfect spot for groups with lots of space inside and out. We have 3 dining areas (1 outside), 2 living rooms and a "bunkhouse" with a TV to send the kids up to play! The house is fully stocked with bath & beach towels plus everything you need in the kitchen. Plus...cornhole, 2 stand up paddleboards, 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, a row boat and a splash pad! NEW in fall 2024: we've added a new dining table for ten, new mattresses and new bedding!

Shady Valley Cabins: 3 cabins, our spacious 4 bedroom apartment and cute 2 bedroom apartment are now available to rent at this original Houghton Lake family resort. Our two lakefront cabins are 3 bedrooms our lakeside cabin is a 4 bedroom unit, each with full kitchen, bathroom and living/dining area. The 4 bedroom spacious apartment full kitchen 1 and 1/2 bathrooms and large living room/dining area sits just above our cute 2 bedroom apartment. Relax with family & friends 100 foot lakefront.

AuSable Haven

Your group will enjoy easy access to everything in the area. With one 1/2 mile of river frontage and board walk access to the river. Secluded in the woods with the wildlife. 2 minute drive to town. Close to head trails for all your off road adventures. Higgins, Houghton lake, Lake St Helen and the Mason Track all about 15 minutes away.
