Looking for the perfect escape from everyday life? A small lakeside sauna awaits on the shore of Lake Saimaa, where there is space for two and there is a small pot mat. The cottage has a small kitchen for spinning calories. The traditional wood sauna gets the best steam, and the carrying water comes straight from Lake Saimaa. You can access the fish from your own beach and in the evening you can roast sprats over a bonfire. Kayaks, fishing gear, a hot tub and husky tours are available for an additional fee. All this only 12 km from the city!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Cottage Kääpä 8 (max. 7 people) On the terrace of the cottage, there is a hot tub that can be rented separately. (€100/day) The cottage's courtyard also has a gazebo where you can spend time enjoying nature. Downstairs there are 3 cozy bedrooms and 1 bedroom upstairs on the loft. The distance to the shore of Lake Saimaa is ~500 meters. ~900 meters from the cottage, there is a private beach, a barbecue hut and our rowing boats for rent. Linen/towel rental 15€/person.

The apartment is part of a semi-detached house, has 1 bedroom and a living room combined with a kitchen, a terrace with furniture for relaxation. Smoking is allowed only on the terrace, in the house you can not smoke. The kitchen has everything you need - stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge, full set of dishes, dishwasher. Firewood is provided for the fireplace. There is a sauna and a wardrobe for drying clothes. Bed linen can be brought with you or rented. The price is 12 EUR per person.

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Putkola Cottage Finland

Find your peace in a classic Finnish cottage with a sauna in the immediate vicinity of Lake Kivenkänä in South Karelia. The cottage is electrified, service water must be carried from the lake, guests must bring their own drinking water. Dry toilet. Not far from the cottage is the Kyläkuppila Käpälämäki bar, where in addition to the classic offer of drinks and meals, you can also buy basic groceries, various consumer goods, and fishing permits.
