Cabin vacation rentals in Russian River

I was in search of a peaceful relaxing experience and this was it. The solarium dining area is such a good zone for breakfast, journaling, friend chats. Love the cool decor, coffee-tea service and the gift of farm fresh eggs. The hot tub was elevated in the forest in an amazing way, we loved the views. We spent a lot of time soaking, and would say this was definitely a highlight of our stay. If you are not sure-footed, this may not be the place for you to descend to the hot tub. Fortunately it was not a problem for us. We did not need extra temp control for the first week of May. Pleasant and comfortable. Garden areas are lovely and well landscaped. A very friendly neighborhood. Overall, a great experience.

Beautiful cabin, even more stunning than the pictures suggest. Every detail was meticulously chosen to maximize our comfort. Looking forward to staying here many times in the future.

Chad’s place was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Easy to walk to places in town. The cabin is very thoughtfully appointed and the outdoor space is well designed. If you have downstairs too the staircase in the house is a little steep, but there is an outside one that is easier. The hot tub was perfect for evening stargazing!

Ryan & James place is a real gem. We had such a special, peaceful stay and enjoyed all the amenities, views and nearby hiking and beaches. You can hear the sound of the ocean waves from the beautiful deck. It was everything we wanted for our little romantic getaway. Thank you for sharing with us!

Awesome clean and cozy space. Jacuzzi in the woods and the wood burning stove really made it very special.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by trees, this is the place. The house is beautifully maintained and extremely cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are super comfortable. The hot tub under the trees was just the icing on the cake. Tom was super informative and very friendly- just a great experience from beginning to end! Will definitely stay here again!

Loved staying here! It was the perfect location for what I wanted: somewhere after hiking in the redwoods and hanging at the river, and the unit itself was perfect for working remote and a comfy stay. I loved the private enclosed deck space and the stylish decor of the place.

Megan’s cottage was absolutely perfect for a solo stay at the end of my California trip. It was the perfect way to wind down and have some alone time before heading back to Virginia. The cottage was spotless, the furniture and the bed were so comfortable, the views out of every window were magical (I even saw a deer right outside staring in through the kitchen window one morning), the decor and design couldn’t be more perfect, the shower had great pressure, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need to cook with, the birds are right at eye level when you sit on the porch since you’re up in the trees, beautiful puzzles, great selection of books. It was such a cozy way to end my trip. Thanks so much Megan!

This cabin was the perfect little getaway spot! We loved the fire pit and indoor fireplace alike. The home was cozy, warm, and comfortable. However there was one significant downside to this property: the neighbors. Within 10 minutes of arriving we had a neighbor asking if we owned the car parked down the street (it was not; we parked where the instructions told us to), and we later had a different neighbor come and tell us to wrap it up when we were enjoying our time by the fire pit. We weren’t being particularly loud and this was prior to the 10pm quiet hours. It was a little off-putting, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our time. The property itself is welcoming, the neighborhood roads are beautiful, and the Russian River Pub is a must visit. I-Chuan Karen was very kind and communicative host and despite the neighbors, I would stay there again!

This is a very special place, which is obvious the moment you walk in the front door. The owners have done a lovely job of creating not only a space, but an experience that is curated and thoughtful; all surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. If I lived closer this would be a regular favorite. Fantastic experience to unplug and reconnect with oneself.

Great location, nice spa and deck looking out to the river. Loved the "rustic" vibe. My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway, and this was perfect!

Really nice place, good location, house was very nice, had pretty much what I needed, it was clean and had a great outdoor area to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Host was awesome too...great communication and ready to help if I needed it.

Rod was a lovely host. He was very friendly, responsive, helpful, and flexible. He made sure we felt comfortable and right at home. The location is great. It’s right on the water. Beautiful and very peaceful. The cabin is charming, quaint and cozy.

What a wonderful spot! Comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathroom, lovely deck, easy river access and all the toys. I very much appreciated the EV charger!! Thora was helpful and responsive. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect place to stay for a Redwood / Russian River escape. Would stay again!

A wonderful stay at Pam and Libby’s cabin! Easy check in/out instructions. Rustic home with modern and luxury furnishings and toilettries. Very tidy and clean. Fully stocked kitchen, noting that it is a second home and the pantry may feel lived in. The beds and all the bedding and blankets were so comfortable, making for a cozy and sleepy rained in weekend. Many places to sit and gather outside, I imagine it is perfect in warmer weather. The decor is well curated and tasteful, they designed it wonderfully. As noted in their post, there are a few flights of stairs to traverse, so make sure you and your mates are comfortable with this. The drive in is not so bad! Just drive slowly :)

Beautiful cabin for a family of 3. We felt right at home. Beds were sooooooo comfortable!! We all slept like we hadn’t in a while:) Sufficiently provided for, and very peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed and no clutter at all. The bath was very clean and nicely done. Overall we had a great weekend and we would come back again. The place and the surroundings are amazing, so do explore. The locals are very friendly and welcoming, always happy to give recommendations.

I can’t recommend this place enough - I already told all my friends. Leah is amazing and her place is just lovely. Very nicely and thoughtfully decorated, and just fun! She has cats, dogs, chickens, donkeys, tortoises. If you like animals, this place is for you. The kitchen was also fully stocked and she even gives you fresh eggs - they are so pretty and in many colors. When visiting, it’s a great plan to go to the state park by the lake.

Perjol is an extremely responsive, proactive, and responsible host. The place is cozy and charming and you can tell he loves and gives so much extra attention to the house and space. You feel like you are living in a tree house with all of the open and expansive windows. The place is very well stocked and has a lovely work station for remote workers. The place is a little smaller than what is reflected in the photos look like, but it is very cozy and lovely. For a quiet getaway into the trees, highly recommended!

Aggie’s place was clean, cozy and full of charm. Everything was easy to use and felt like care was taken when planning how the space would be used by guests. We had a wonderful time and very much appreciate the hospitality.

Staying at Genevieve’s treehouse in Cazadero was a deeply nostalgic experience that transported me back to my childhood days spent in treehouses in the province. Nestled amidst the majestic redwoods of Sonoma County, this unique retreat offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Waking up to the melodious songs of birds and witnessing the morning sun piercing through the fog, gradually unveiling the forest’s beauty, was truly enchanting. Sharing this tranquil haven with my friends and fiancé made the experience even more special. It was the perfect getaway to reconnect with nature and relive cherished memories.
