Filippo's property is spectacularly gorgeous and he and his family are kind and gracious hosts. We were picked up at the train station promptly and also they kindly arranged for us to also be dropped off. The apartment is great for a couple, with two bathrooms and a lovely master bedroom overlooking the Mediterranean. There is also a small side study with a fold out bed. It is right underneath the family's house so you feel quite safe but they do not intrude while you are there-- the family pool is right outside the apartment so occasionally kids will be nearby. We enjoyed making our breakfast in the nice kitchenette and eating on the terrace. It is a 20 minute walk downhill to town, very steep. We only ventured to go back uphill once....quite the workout! But gorgeous views on the way. We appreciated being removed from the tourist hustle and bustle. There is a cute little bus that comes five times per day right around the corner, and that was fairly easy to use. For English speakers without Italian or French language skills, be sure to let your hosts know--they will arrange to have a family member who can speak English there. They brought us delicious oranges, plums, and lemons from their fruit trees and were very friendly and kind, even when we were only communicating in my broken Italian or high school French. We could not have picked a more beautiful spot or nicer hosts. Would love to go back any time we have the good luck to return to lovely Sorrento!

Our stay in Sorrento was made wonderful by our stay in Filippo's home. We were welcomed at the train station and drove to their house. Filippo's wife speaks english and gave us several tips for restaurants and getting around the area. The space we stayed in is located beneath the families home. They showed us everything we needed right away and made us feel at home. We had two bedrooms and a pull out couch. This space easily fit 4 people! Having a kitchen and large living space made it easy to make dinners for ourselves. Also having the family close made us feel welcomed and able to ask for advice if we needed. Walking from the house to Sorrento you take a path down stairs and through neighborhoods. It is a steep hill on the way up, but we enjoyed the walking :) The neighborhood was quite and peacful. Also the views from the home were beautiful. We would stay at this Airbnb again in a heartbeat!

Filippo and his family was very gracious and welcoming to us during our time. They offered us rides both to and from the train station, which was great because climbing the hills with a backpack can be a little overwhelming. We stayed in the lower level of their house, but we're given complete privacy during our stay. In addition to the spacious lower level, there was also a nice sitting area outside with a great view of the coast. Future guests should keep in mind it is about a 20 minute walk/ 20 euro taxi to and from town. Although it seemed quite easy to rent a Vespa. All in all a beautiful and clean place to stay. Kevin

Valeria the host was absolutely amazing! I can't thank her enough for how communicative, helpful, kind and reliable she was. She was by far the BEST host I have come across on airbnb (and I have stayed at around 8 airbnb properties around the world). The apartment was perfect in terms of space, cleanliness, quality and being very well-stocked (Valeria provided water, milk, bread, juices and even local wine!). The only feedback I have - in terms of things that I think future guests should be aware of, is: the noise outside of the apartment - I would say that for light sleepers - the main bedroom is probably not ideal due to the constant noise of scooters and neighbours, and most importantly - the apartment was a VERY steep 10-15 minute uphill walk from the centre of Sorrento town and transport - so this property would not be appropriate for those who are less able-bodied. If you don't mind a bit of noise and a little hike - then this place is perfect and Valeria really is absolutely wonderful.

We loved our stay at Lemon Flats. The view from the balcony was amazing! Salvatore was a great host. His father gave us a few rides, but the walk was very manageable. We used Sorrento as a base for Pompeii, climbing Mt. Vesuvius and touring the Amalfi Coast.

The strong housing point is definitely the location: the view and the view of Sorrento are breathtaking, and the eye even reach Capri and Ischia. The center is within walking distance. The apartment is fully equipped, nicely decorated and arranged, very livable. The experience was overall very very good, and if we return to Sorrento we will know without a doubt where to stay!

They are really friendly and give you as much help as you want. It's a good little place to short stay. Nice and quite from busy touristy street but so easy and short walk to the down town.

Rarely are airbnb hosts so on their game! Man, these people respond quickly and clearly, were right where they said they'd be, and delivered as promised. This -- at least my little single bed room, not sure what else they have -- is a perfect place to stay if you actually want to visit the area and don't need a expensive and large fancy hotel room for a home base. Perfect private bath en suite, comfortable bed and linens, I'll be back! Pro tip: do NOT take a cab from the bus station! It is less than a five minute walk and the cab, I found out the hard way, was 20 euros! Cabs in general are freakishly expensive in Europe, but this took the cake. Also, great little grocery across the street for the basics, and a little fridge for you to use in the room.

There was some noisy machinery outside the windows. It is unforgivable not to include this detail in the description in an apartment without a/c.

From beginning to end this was simply a delightful experience! I can't say enough about Dani! She truly understands the concept of hospitality! This is a fabulous place to stay! First off the location, right in the middle of the town, close proximity to anything you might want to do. Especially helpful was the offering of excursions which are priced right and extraordinary! The pool was beautiful! There wasn't anything I didn't like! BRAVO! 10 stars!

This is the first time we took room rather than entire housing. It was great, a rare kindness, generosity in gestures and words. A very well appointed room, clean, exceptional comfort. Titti speaks only Italian but she knows to be understood. His son was there on arrival. He speaks French and English. He even arranged a full day on the Amalfi Coast. His daughter speaks good French. Nice people, Italy as we like.

I had a lovely stay in Sorrento at this beautiful villa. I didn't meet Salvatore but Raimundo made me feel extremely welcome. He gave me a lovely, cold glass of orange juice whilst I was checking in and told me about the buses and trains for the places I wanted to visit. He also kindly offered me lovely, Italian coffee on a couple of occasions. The room was exactly as described online and the villa was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It was within 10-15 minutes walking distance of the train station and centre of Sorrento so perfect for my requirements. I had a lovely time. Grazie, grazie, grazie. Susan

Salvaltore and Raimundo are charming and do everything to make their guests feel at home as much as possible. Their home is truly admirable, very well maintained and exemplary cleanliness. They are very attentive and willing to help their guests by giving them good advice and good addresses.

There were three of us arriving on separate reservations. Upon my arrival the owner did not put me in the room I had reserved forcing me to share the common bathroom/shower with all the other guests in the house. The room I was forced to occupy was loaded with ants. The owner had an explosive argument with my friend over his dog eating her house slippers which was very upsetting to us women. Airbnb was contacted and we requested to be moved to a different location but they were unable to accommodate us. I filed a complaint and only after doing so the owner retaliated by fraudulently claiming I broke a chair in the common area on the house that I never even touched. Be advised that Airbnb represents the owners rather than the guests on such matters. Based on his other hostile replies I already I expect him to claim the ants are due to my lack of hygiene which is ludicrous. I am a senior Professional well-traveled individual and what was intended to be a fun adventure was fraught, both during and after, with issues.

A lovely home with a very helpful host. The room was very clean and in great condition. The centre of Sorrento is just over 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast is not included, but very reasonable at an extra 5 EURO per person.

Raimondo was a great host, offering a superb breakfast every morning (including oranges picked that morning) and ensuring everything was more than okay with the room! He also kindly let me make use of the rest of the lower floor and I had my own independent entrance to come and go as I pleased. The room was spacious, clean and the location to Sorrento city centre and the train station was pretty perfect (about a 10-15 minute walk but out of the main hustle and bustle). I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to take advantage of the glorious Sorrento, or as a good spot to get further down to Amalfi Coast or over to Pompeii.

Antonino and his parents were so welcoming and kind. Their place is just outside of Sorrento in a quiet area with an incredible view. We felt like it was a true local experience. They were so accommodating with myth late request and very helpful. Thanks again for a great stay!!

This was the best air bnb I have had so far. Antonino is a great host, a good laugh, and made us feel very welcome in his home. The room was large and immaculately clean, with one of the best views in Sorrento, looking right across the bay of Naples. There is a nice pub just down the road which was full of friendly locals. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely choose to stay here again.

The place overlooks the gulf of naples in the most spectacular way. We woke up looking at vesuvio across the gulf. While Antonio coordinated everything over the phone his parents warmly welcomed us and did everything in their poser to make our stay as nice as possible. From a breakfast with homemade cake to their offer to pick us up with their car when we were surprised by heavy November rain. They did more than any other AirBnB host, and we were happy to stay with them.

We had a wonderful stay with Antonino and his parents Rosa and Roberto. Our trip to Sorrento started with Roberto picking us and our luggage up from the train station. We were warmly greeted by Rosa and shown the beautiful view from our balcony AMAZING! We later met with Antonino who provided us with lots of information about Pompeii and Capri. He was always contactable by phone. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again... maybe in Summer next time

Our stay with Alfonso was great. He was more than happy to help us with our bags, and provided us with a comfy room during our stay. The room was spacious and provided us with everything that we needed. The breakfast was nice, and it was great to beagle to enjoy a fresh coffee each morning. A great place to stay whilst in Sorrento, and very central to everything in the area.

When the landlady gave rise to greet you for luggage put up nicely laid barrel could rise slightly. The hostel was located a 10-minute walk takes? About the station location was great lots to eat anywhere around yeoseo just Tasso Square. In particular Sorrento restaurants just hit out 'Gin NO "is located directly opposite the hostel was great to open the door as soon as! And I really yeppeoteo night view over the rooftops. There is also a table eating dinner many night scene do not you hear the best minds.

This was certainly one of my best Airbnb experiences. The communication was brilliant; the bed & breakfast is centrally located in Sorrento; and the room was exactly how it looked in the photos and was very clean. I also appreciated very much the warmth with which I was greeted upon arrival. I recommend 100% this Airbnb to anyone traveling to Sorrento.

This Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Sorrento, a few mins away from everything: bus/train terminal, beach, commercial streets, etc. location was ideal! Though a bit pricey, we enjoyed our stay in our room which was very modern and nicely renovated. Only inconvenience we encountered was (in addition to the place not being cheap) not being able to fully use the kitchen to cook... We were allowed using it to make small meals but nothing major, which is totally understandable since the place is quite small (only accommodates 8-10 guests) and the smell of food would not have been pleasant. So the place is nice if you are planning on eating out everyday, otherwise i'd recommend looking for an actual apartment.

Nice place for bed and breakfast great views. Be prepared to walk up 8 flights of stairs. The sweetest part was you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs. They send it up on a rope it's pretty cool. Also the best restaurant is right across the street.

Really enjoyed our stay here, was the last night we had exploring Sorrento and the amalfi coast and rite in the centre of Sorrento which gave us a chance to soak up the atmosphere and made for a more the pleasurable of reluctant last nights stay, ideal rooms/bathrooms a more then generously stocked breakfast bar/fridge and a roof terrace that offered 360 panoramic views of Sorrento...couldn't of asked for more from our friendly host

Giulia was an excellent host and very friendly. She gave us a free bottle of sparkling wine and some chocolates as she knew we were on honeymoon, which was very sweet. The apartment is on the 3rd floor but it has a lift. The windows have automatic shutters which can be used to block out all light at night time which helped us sleep well. The apartment is modern and the bathroom is spacious. This was our favourite accommodation during our 2 week trip in Italy.

Giulia's house was perfect! First of all, the room was very clean and cozy. And the location is the best. So that I can walk everywhere in Sorrento. When I requested something, she and Margherita tried to solve it. And she gave me tourism information. She is the best host ever that I've met! It was the best place to stay in Sorrento.

I really enjoyed staying at this place. It was literally one minute from the train station, there is a great place for dinner on the same street, and the airbnb itself is spacious, modern, and comfortable (great bathroom!). Giulia was great about checkin, making sure she knew when my train was coming in so she could meet me. She spoke enough English to communicate anything I needed to know, and she gave me a voucher for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. My only complaint is that the wifi was a little slow. But honestly I stayed at a few different places while I traveled around Italy, and this was my favorite in this price range!

While our stay was perfect! Giulia us very welcome coming to pick us at the station! The room was a 2 min walk! The room is perfect, comfortable bed! The city of Sorento is charming and well placed to go to Capri by boat or to visit the Amalfi Coast! The last day there was no problem to leave our suitcases in the room and it was much appreciated! :) Grazie mile !!! :)

Giuseppina and Antonino are great. They went to fetch us to the ferry to take us to their b &b. The house is great and the breakfast was awesome. Antonino is great in telling you everything you must go and visit in Sorrento. If I go back to Sorrento I would surely go back to the Lemon House

Our stay was perfect! We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Giuseppina even picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the port. The room was in a quiet, yet convenient part of town. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious - especially Giuseppina's home-made orange preserves. I highly recommend this place to anyone, and I hope we can stay here again!

This was by far one of the most sweetest places we have ever stayed in. Giuseppina picked us up at the ferry with a warm welcoming smile and that never changed during our whole stay. It felt as though we were staying with some distant relatives. The location of the flat was perfect and the terrace allowed for a fabulous start to the day with a gorgeous view. We only spent one night at Lemon House b & b in Sorrento, which is located in a lovely small residence, very quiet. Giuseppina is a very warm and friendly host. You have the impression of being welcomed by a friend or family member. Giuseppina picks you up at the station, you will back the next day prepares an excellent breakfast, recommend a good restaurant. His energy and good humor will seduce you. Small note to the attention of French travelers, Giuseppina speak good French! Sorrento is a lovely town and an excellent base for the Amalfi Coast, Capri, visiting pompei etc ... and Lemon Hous(URL HIDDEN)very pleasant place to stay. I would stay back.

The Bed & Breakfast Giuseppina is the ideal place to discover Sorrento and the region. Housing is located just minutes from downtown and the room is clean, well organized and very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the sea view at breakfast, sweet! Attentive and available, Giuseppina and her husband gave us great advice for exploring the coast and make the most of our stay.

My sister and I had an excellent time staying here last week. Rosa our host was extremely courteous and helpful. She made us a light breakfast every morning, and showed us genuine concern whenever we had any questions. She went the extra mile to make our stay amazing. The room is large, very clean, comfortable and the terrace view overlooking the bay is breathtaking. I would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Rosa is so lovely and the apartment is fantastic. Every evening my wife and I would end on the balcony with a glass of wine, transfixed by the incredible view over the bay, it's incredible! So much better than a number of the hotel options we looked at. Rosa was welcoming and attentive, breakfast every morning and excellent restaurant recommendations (Soul + Fish is a real winner). The free parking is a bonus too (you can definitely get a smaller car up the road to the apartment, if it helps we had hired a Smart ForFour car which got up there no problem). There's so much to do here and I'd heartily recommend the Walk of the Gods - we drove the Green ribbon up to Bomerano and parked the car there and walked it to Positano. Breath-taking views. Would definitely stay here again (and I'm never usually one for doing that; variety is the spice of life and all that)

Breakfast was an added bonus to have on the balcony in the lovely sunshine mornings. The location was perfect for our holiday. Its very central for visiting Pompeii, Amalfi and Vesuvius. Lots of nice restaurants and town centre within walking distance, also close to trains and buses. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to our friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at Rosa's apartment in Sorrento. The huge, beautiful balcony is great for watching the sun set into the sea. Rosa was a wonderful host, bringing your choice of breakfast every day. She also arranged private transfer from Naples for us. It's a great base of operations for exploring Sorrento and the surrounding areas. About 10-15 minutes walk to train stations to get to Pompeii, etc. Highly recommend and would stay again.
