Places to stay in Annapolis Royal

Places to stay in Annapolis Royal
Our cottage overlooking Annapolis Royal is the perfect setting to create your own adventure, whether you are exploring the Cradle of Canada, researching your ancestry, enjoying the outdoors or looking for the perfect forever home. You might even catch a glimpse of a seal! Our Nova Scotia Tourism registration number is RYA2020-000135.
One private bedroom with a queen-size bed and a queen-size sofabed in the living room (not private). A truly unique setting, first row to watch the tide come in or out, and to keep the million-dollar unobstructed view, please watch out for your dog and kids. We are right on the water, in the Annapolis Basin, there is no real beach to stroll in, and the currents are quite strong, so we don't recommend swimming. We are 2 minutes away from Annapolis Royal in the Village of Granville Ferry, so we are surrounded by our friendly neighbours. However, you will feel on your own in the backyard. The newly renovated cottage is a charming place with the quirks of all old houses, and that in itself makes it unique but not the Ritz.
The Cradle of Canada, vibrant community in the summertime, nice restaurants in the area, and lots of day trips, like whale watching, canoeing, great hikes, tons of history. As well, you can quietly stay at home watching the tide come in or go out.
  • We had a wonderful stay. Pros: great location (easy access to the Atlantic and to town, beautiful views (we took a gazillion pictures), cottage was unique (didn't feel like we were staying in a hotel), helpful hosts (little touches everywhere).

  • Best air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place for a little romantic getaway. Valentina was lovely and couldn’t have made our stay any more comfortable

  • Such a beautiful place to stay! The cottage is spacious, clean and has everything you need. Pictures don't reflect how remarkable the location is, right on the bank of the river. Easily the most special Airbnb I have experienced

    Warren2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say but STAY HERE! It's a lovely, charming, little bit retro, little bit shabby chic, relaxing space with a beautiful, interesting ever-changing view. Private and quiet. We loved it!

    Caroline2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Even though the power went out with the hurricane, we had the best time! Plenty of board games and the view is stunning from the cottage! Valentina was extremely welcoming and even helped us out with feeding us and supplying coffees when the power went out! The cottage is nice and clean, and it's in a nice quiet spot! I would definitely book to go again and would recommend to anyone!

Access to the water and on low tides a sandy beach that you can walk. Lily pad is a great place to play cards, laugh and make memories.

Enjoy the modern comforts of heat pumps with air conditioning while enjoying reclaim details from various spots in the house built 200 years ago. What a view and neighbourhood, expect friendly hellos from the neighbours while being super close to all the attractions of the area or simply enjoy a local IPA or wine from the valley on your private deck watch the tides and shoreline.
  • This little gem was exactly what the Dr. Ordered...no literally! We arrived for 4 nights just as the Covid-19 pandemic was taking hold. Jay was so thoughtful to have done extra cleaning and sanitation before we arrived and even left extra disinfectant supplies to make us feel comfortable during such a crazy time in the world. Jay is a very gracious host that had some awesome treats waiting for us!! Very well stocked kitchen and even toiletry products incase we forgot the essentials. We absolutely loved our staycation and can't wait to come back in the summer! Time your morning expresso or latte (great machine provided) around the sunrise...they are breathtaking! Thanks again Jay!! :)

  • We loved this little spot! It is tiny and perfect. Tastefully decorated and full of many extras in the kitchen, which we wish were included in every Airbnb. Gorgeous view, private and comfortable. Jason was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

  • 10/10 would stay again!! This space was carefully thought out, with everything you need. We enjoyed a bonfire which was a real treat. And our dog loved it too!!

    Casey2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot use enough words to describe how awesome this place was. I had great expectations based on the listing, but they were surpassed when I arrived. I think when the concept of Airbnb was thought of, this matches the model!

    Lawrence2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing place. Very few homes have made me feel as comfortable, relaxed and energized ! Great local hiking trails, FULLY equipped kitchen which was a dream to cook in. I’m usually not a fan of shower stalls, but that shower is a DREAM. Our pups were so happy! We had the best vacation and would go back anytime. I’m sure this will be a hard spot to book because it’s so great. THANK YOU!

    Ashley2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This spot is amazing! We got to meet the hosts - lovely folks. Beautiful view. Nicely decorated and organized. So many thoughtful touches in Mama’s Lily Pad. We especially loved the beautiful dishes and mugs! The kitchen is wonderfully equipped. Bed was comfortable. Very cozy!

  • Patricia is so welcoming & an amazing host. She sets out thoughtful touches in the bathrooms & gives you full access to her house. She was really helpful with providing local activities, a fantastic restaurant for dinner & was kind enough to make us a hearty breakfast before we left in the morning. We really enjoyed getting to know her & would definitely return!

    Erica2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Patricia is indeed a “super host”! From the time we arrived we felt comfortable and at home. The historical accommodation is charming. Patricia went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable - well beyond what was required. Will definitely stay there again if in the area!

  • This was my first Airbnb experience, and it set a high bar for any booking to follow. Everything was perfect, from texting me with information to the view to the room itself. Natalia makes a delicious and nutritious breakfast and is a very thoughtful and kind host. This is a gem. Thank you Natalia!

    Lydia2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Natalia and Dave were amazing hosts that made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. We thoroughly enjoyed their beautiful surroundings and the wonderful breakfast they provided us every morning. We booked in for a week and received fresh, local and thoughtfully prepared breakfast everyday. We highly recommend a stay at this B&B. It was our best experience ever.

    Lynda2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Was such a wonderful place to stay! We were able to watch the sunrise from the bed and Natalia was so hospitable! We couldn't have asked for a better stay :) She gave us wonderful suggestions of places to visit and made a wonderful breakfast! It's a beautiful home and would definitely stay again.

  • Natalia and Dave are the most wonderful hosts. If you're lucky enough to hear Dave play the guitar you're in for a treat! Natalia will always prepare a fun but delicious breakfast that will leave you wanting more. I was a little worried about being in a room and having shared space but it really was a great stay. I loved every minute of it. Natalia was also super helpful/knowledgable offering some great restaurants that I urge you to try!

  • Excellent place to stay, very nice

    Will2020-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place is very comfortable and spacious and extremely well equipped. The house is located just on the edge of the pretty town of Granville Ferry, with a view of the water. Lindsay was welcoming, helpful and responded quickly to all queries.

    Miranda2020-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely stunning home with lots of character! Lindsay thought of everything, made us feel right at home! The hot tub and sauna made for lovely evenings under the stars!

    Jill2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very spacious, clean and stylish home, it is actually much larger than it looks from the road. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was extremely well equipped (coffee, tea and creamers provided), did not get to use the hot tub so will have to save that for another trip. Furniture is stylish and great for hanging out (separate lounge area and another room for watching TV). Wifi was strong and reliable. Communication with the host was quick and responsive. We were a group of 7 women who thoroughly enjoyed our getaway weekend. It is a short walk into Annapolis Royal and Lindsay had some good local tips for us. We had dinner at the Founders Dining room, go there, you won’t regret it! Thanks so much for sharing your special home with us - 5 stars!!!

    Teressa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely older home is perfect for a family or friends getaway! The view was stunning and our stay was great. The house had everything you could possibly need and more. Lindsay was so responsive and helpful, it made for a stress-free girls' weekend!

    Erin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a unique, special place to take a break in! Lindsay was very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to arrival. The layout of the house was my favorite. It was extremely clean and was also easy to clean before check out. A very comfortable house to spend time with your loved ones. The hot tub was a special feature that we 3 very much enjoyed. The hardest and most difficult part of our stay, was leaving. We hope to return to Granville House again!

    Joelene2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful house with an amazing host. Lots of unique little touches and wonderful amenities. My significant other and I came for a two night stay to get away. We brought our food with us and had a lovely stay-cation. We hardly left the house. It was perfect. Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for comfort and for preparing meals and the hot tub and sauna were so relaxing. We will be back.

    Ian2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

Once an operational B&B, the honeymoon suite has amazing views and loads of character. In the heart of quaint Granville Ferry you can unwind on the waters edge, talk to seals, watch ospreys, blue herons and bald eagles and be awoken by the 'roosters of the sea'. Soaker tub with a rock waterfall (really), private entrance, queen bed, bar fridge, keurig, gym, garden & outdoor seating, laundry... I'm a Realtor® & Certified Home Inspector; this is the ideal home-base for your house hunting trip!
Your room is located on the backside (waterside) of the house on ground level. You share the entrance to the house with a full-time tenant (Wendy, she is awesome!) but your room is entirely private (has a lock as well but not needed in Granville Ferry). Laundry is just down the hall - and a well-equipped gym to boot - something good to do while your washing clothes ;)
Granville Ferry is a picturesque, quiet old village - a great place to unwind. Lots of local attractions to see and things to do: Town of Annapolis Royal is a 15 minute stroll away, tidal power generating station (of which you have a great view from the backyard), Port Royal Habitation (one of the first European settlements in N. America). There is lots more to do and discover, check out your info sheet in the room and let's talk. Also, if you are here for a house hunting trip - let it be known that I am a Certified Home Inspector - you can find my website here: https://rehomeinspections.com

    Nora2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at Phil’s place! He was super hospitable and friendly and gave us some great local tips! (We loved Spitz too!) Granville Ferry and Annapolis Royal were beautiful and historical... can’t wait to come back again!

    Lyssa2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Phil’s place is modern & very comfortable. It has a unique bath that is kinda cute! The garden area outside the entrance to the apartment is very lush & is a great place to sit & watch the river water rise & fall with the large Tides of the Fundy region. Just 10 minutes drive away is the beautiful historic town of Annapolis Royal with streets of outstanding buildings. The board walk along the river front is also very enjoyable. Phil’s house is a great place to base yourself for a few days of touring the surrounding countryside or just chilling out by the river. Phil is a very accommodating host who will cheerfully assist you to enjoy your stay.

    Alison2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Phil’s place was wonderful! Clean, well appointed, easy check in and check out. Beautiful garden and great location. Parking was easy. Phil is a nice guy, very hospitable, and has great local recommendations.

    Kelsey2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • We loved everything about our stay. Phil is a wonderful guy and a great host. We loved sitting outside our room watching the tide come and go. This place is comfortable and a great place to relax. Phil gave is good tips for dinner and breakfast and both turned out to be amazing. We would not consider staying anywhere else when we return to this area.

    Bill2019-08-15T00:00:00Z

  • This beautifully designed apartment is right in the heart of Annapolis Royal, with the river very close (visible from windows, and a 1-minute walk away). Nancy is an artist, and the apartment reflects her fun—and fine—taste. Kitchen is very well appointed, and bathroom has a whirlpool tub and excellent shower. Great dvd library too. We also found the bed so comfortable. Our dog loved the space too (!), and we found multiple interesting walks right out the door. It’s just a block from the boardwalk that runs along the river in town, and to Fort Anne with walking trails. Nancy is a super welcoming and respectful host; she left us some lovely extras that sweetened our arrival. We highly recommend her space.

  • Great, cozy place to stay. Close to all amenities without driving. Nancy is a gracious host 👍

    Janet2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy’s apartment in Annapolis Royal was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It was a relaxing space and a great area.

    Meghan2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • In Annapolis Royal working and found this fun colorful place right in the center of town. It had what we needed when we came back home on a chilly Nov day. It was cozy(with added warmth from the little wood stove), movies to watch, comfortable bed and great coffee for the morning. Nancy is a thoughtful host and provided extras ..like popcorn and chips that we appreciated along with advice on things to see in the Valley which is easy from this location. I hope we can visit again

    Annie2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy’s place is well situated in downtown Annapolis Royal and an easy walk from a number of lovely local businesses. The suite is charming, clean, and private. Our only wish was that the weather would have been less windy so we could use the woodstove - but there’s not anything Nancy can control about that. She was a gracious and accommodating host.

    Gabrielle2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Was fine

    Bryan2019-11-14T00:00:00Z

  • Such a lovely host! He even had hot tea and toast for us in the morning. A charming spot to enjoy Annapolis Royal from, wish we had planned to stay longer!

  • Everett and Sheila were fabulous hosts! So accommodating and warm and passionate about their town. I highly recommend their place, which had a wonderful amount of space and felt homey. (Annapolis Royal was such a lovely surprise. LOVED the Festival of Dance and the cemetery tour!)

    Barb2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful home. Private and sparkling clean. Definitely recommended! Thank you Everett

    Barry2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely one-night stay at Everett and Sheila's place. There were three of us (one couple, one single person) and even though it's essentially one big room, the space was more than adequate and still felt private. Great location if visiting Annapolis Royal, and great value.

    Nina2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Everett and Sheila have an excellent place to stay. Beautiful bathroom, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast in the morning, and a warm welcome supplemented with very helpful advice about the local area. Ideal location for visiting Annapolis Royal, for whale-watching tours and for the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park. We would go back and stay again and again. Very highly recommended!

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise .... across the waters of historic ANNAPOLIS ROYAL. All the conveniences plus HOT TUB & SWIMING POOL privileges. Close to town - 20 min walking, or 5 min cycling. View the spectacular changes of the BAY of FUNDY tides from your window. Swim in the pool, or the ocean (at high tide).... or relax in the sun or shade in our waterfront gardens, our little piece of PARADISO !
Our place is great for couples & solo travellers, as well as a family (using the futon bed). If you like a quiet private setting with a waterfront, this is it. The cottage is cozy, open and airy, and with a full kitchen and bath. You have your own private yard/garden space with lawn chairs and barbecue .......and that gorgeous waterfront view !
A quiet and friendly little waterfront village next to the historic town of Annapolis Royal - vibrant in arts, theatre, dining, museums and shops. Central location for all of southwest Nova Scotia, including from Kejimikijik National Park to the famous whale watching of the Bay of Fundy.
  • A lovely little cabin by the sea. Everything you will need, cosy and the most beautiful view. A warm and friendly hostess, easiest stay you can imagine.

    Connie2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Janis' cottage is a perfect size for two people. Everything needed is supplied. The backyard faces the water with a very nice view and a cute garden. Janis and Cam live next door and seem to love to speak with their guests, though I am sure they would not intrude if guests want to be left alone. They are delightful company - well-traveled and well-read. The cottage is very close to Port Royal and Annapolis Royal.

    Julia2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Janis and her husband Cam were EXCEPTIONAL hosts! They were so welcoming and generous. We LOVED their little cottage and property. Quite possibly the best view of Annapolis Royal you could ever get. Fully stocked kitchen. Sweet little bedroom. Bathroom sparkly clean and lots of towels/soap/etc. Will definitely stay again and can easily and wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family.

    Lana2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Jan and Cam’s cute little cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed the view, waterfront location and the hot tub. Jan and Cam gave us a lot of privacy as well. Would love to visit again!

    Paul2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Janis and Cam were awesome hosts and their cozy cottage and bay side gardens were lovely at the end of a busy day. Returning each day was a pleasure after days of hiking and exploring the quaint harbors and coves along the Bay of Fundy. Close to everything we wanted to see in our visit to Nova Scotia. My wife and I couldn't have stayed in a nicer place. Tim and Jean Griffin

    Tim2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • We adored our stay here. The view from the cottage is spectacular, we adored having our breakfast out in the little garden, our daughter enjoyed the hot tub and pool, Cam took us on a wonderful kayaking trip, beds were comfy, and Janis and Cam were fantastic hosts.

    Denis2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Luxury takes many forms. If you are expecting the Ritz then maybe Nova Scotia isn't for you let alone Waters edge ! But if you are looking for a quaint and comfortable home for exploring the Annapolis valley then you've arrived.Jan and Cam live next door and you share the yard and pool and hot tub as public spaces but the grounds and views are spectacular. They are welcoming hosts with great local knowledge but respect your privacy as well. We explored the valley on day trips to wineries and had a great day whale watching with Jan's cousin Penny. Each day we returned home to our little refuge with stunning water views of Annapolis Royal. Thank you Jan and Cam. We hope to return someday soon. You won't find a better home away from home in the area!

  • Erin and Andy have done a great job creating a wonderful space for living and sleeping. Clean and well-equipped with an incredible view, spacious grounds for short walks and close to the trails. We stayed for a month, caught between homes and had everything we needed and beyond. Erin and Andy are great hosts, always available for anything needed, but never intrusive. A little bonus, great beer and cider. We are already looking for excuses to be able to return. Thanks again, Grace and David.

  • The Barn at Lazy Bear Brewing was one of the most breathtaking accommodations I have ever staid in. The barn itself is a beautiful space, with modern updates, comfortable living and sleeping spaces and gorgeous views. It was spotless with no detail left out. Erin was welcoming, helpful and respectful of our privacy. We came in the off season, but will be back to stay and to take advantage of the brewery below.

  • The pictures do not do this place justice. What a gorgeous spot. The apartment was so spacious with a very comfy bed and deep tub. The kitchen was fully functional with everything I needed at my fingertips. Quiet, private and very relaxing. The view of the bay was absolutely stunning through the huge windows, even in winter. We loved watching the boats come in and out of Digby Gut. The walk to the beach was beautiful. The beer was also really yummy and affordable. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house is set well back from the road and a garage is available. Downstairs consists of a rear deck, a porch and laundry room, which access a large kitchen and breakfast area. • My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Glen’s house. Very clean, quiet, and cozy. A quick walk down to the picturesque harbour, and a short drive to Annapolis Royal.

  • A quiet and spacious home, well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful walk to the harbour, close to all that Annapolis Royal and Digby have to offer

    Philip2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Glen is an outstanding host that really cares for his guests. His detailed instructions on how to reach his place are invaluable as Google sends you to the wrong place. The house is sparklingly clean and huge for the meagre amount he charges. It sits in a very quiet plot with views of the Bay of Fundy and within easy access to any local attraction. Speaking of which, Glen keeps the house supplied with an immense collection of local flyers and information about anything worth visiting in the area. If you expect a brand new modern lodging you are in the wrong place. His is a charming old house and with that comes some quirks that you have to accept. The water pressure is not the most powerful but enough to take a comfortable shower. The boiler on the other had is very powerful and bring the house to a warm and toasty temperature with an amazing speed. The Lazy Chair in the living room will make you consider skipping the hike to the upstairs beds and just lay there for the night. All in all you can’t go wrong with this place.

  • Mike went above and beyond, technical difficulties with a water pump, was not going to stop Nova Scotian hospitality. It was all fixed by the time we drove up. He offered us the opportunity to find another place, gracious to the end. We loved the place, the area, the colours. What can be better than the fall colours in the Maritime. Driving around we came across beautiful scenery, history, great antique stores. Short drive to Fundy Bay. Would go back in a heartbeat

  • We loved our stay here! Amazing spot inside and out. Love the way it was decorated and the hosts were amazing, always quick to respond when I had a question! Highly recommend this cabin/chalet!!!

    Cl2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing place! Everything you could want in a place to get away. A little further off the beaten path than we expected but very quiet in fall and amazing fall colours everywhere we looked! We would definitely stay here again, so much to do and see within a 2hr drive and only 20min to Annapolis Royal for groceries or wandering historic sites and the waterfront. Had no issues with the internet data cap (despite watching election results for 4+ hrs). Coffee maker is a multi option one cup (you can do k-cups or it has a brew basket for ground coffee) and a small teapot also available. Amy was very quick to respond to questions and the guide she provides when you book was very helpful (with directions, details and recommendations).

    Erica2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great cottage, would highly recommend!

    Jenna2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location. Spectacular views. Immaculately kept cabin. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!!! Amy was super helpful and communicative. I'd highly recommend!

    Ami2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the cottage. It looked just like the photos. Waking up by the lake was beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We couldn't have had a more relaxing stay. Amy was great at communicating before and during our stay. She provided several recommendations for food and local activities. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen and pantry had everything we needed and we even played a mean game of Life. We wish the cottage was much closer to us in Maryland. Thanks for everything Amy.

    Kimmie2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Exceptional spot. Everything was as advertised or better. We stayed just after hurricane Dorian and Amy was extremely communicative about the power situation and let us know as soon as it was back on. 10/10 would stay again.

    Luke2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Tall Pine Cove is absolutely amazing. It has everything you could ever need and more. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back next year and stay much longer. Truly the best getaway and a place for relaxation.

  • Staying at Amy’s beautiful cottage on Grand Lake was the best way to end Summer 2019. We were so impressed by the stylish and comfortable space. You have everything you need..The lake was amazing, we enjoyed a few canoe excursions and our dog loved being able to swim. Close by to the cafes, restaurants, shops and more in Annapolis Royal (but it’s certainly hard to leave the cottage!). I can’t recommend Amy’s cottage enough it was perfect! We hope to return next summer.

  • This property left me 100% satisfied. The communication with the owners was very friendly and prompt. The access and check in was so easy. The property was very clean and well maintained inside and out. This property is within walking distance to everything Annapolis Royal has to offer. I stayed at this property for 3 nights as I was traveling for work. I will be sure to use this Air BnB as long as it is available for all of my trips to Annapolis. I highly recommend this rental.

  • Angela is a great host. Our little guy loved the play room with plenty of toys, and the playground right across from the house. Nice grill in the backyard. It was a complete house with everything we needed, really! Would stay here again.

    Gillis2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely historic house right in the centre of Annapolis Royal. The house has real character and comfort, within easy walking distance of everything Annapolis Royal has to offer. Angela was a great host and kept in touch before and after to make sure everything was okay (we stayed one week after the hurricane so this was especially welcome). The house is ‘fully equipped’ with washing machine, two bathrooms, good WiFi, and Netflix access (account or extra payment required).

    David2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint spot right in town. Angela is a wonderful and thoughtful host!

    Paige2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. Roomy and bright. Excellent location close to everything.

    Kenzie2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed 3 nights at Angela's Riverhouse and loved the house. The location was great for exploring the town and close to places to eat and shop. It was centrally located for visiting the area. Everything was clean and well kept. If traveling with a family there were plenty of games and other things to do in the house if you happen to have a rainy day. The towels were plush and the bed I used was very comfortable. The jam that Angela left me was delicious and gave me something to eat in the mornings before venturing out. There are two smaller grocery stores nearby, one even walkable, if you need to pick up any supplies. The internet access was also great. Having the back yard was nice also and I even had a short visit from Snow one of the local cats which I enjoyed. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area.

Located within the historic summer resort property of Harbourview, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is fully self contained for your comfort and convenience. Full access to all property amenities (pool, tennis court, play area) are included in your rental and only steps away. The unit is bright and spacious with a set up conducive to privacy. Close to Digby, Annapolis Royal, Bear River, Digby Neck and Islands and the Acadian French Shore there are no shortage of things to do and sea!
Originally built as a casino in the 1930's ( dance floor large enough for 150 couples) the property was the site of weekly dances and other social gatherings. In 1941 the building burnt to the ground but was rebuilt to the exact measurements on the original site. My parents bought the Inn and Harbourview property in the early 60's continuing to utilize the dance hall into the 70's where it had eventually evolved into a children's program site ( children of guests staying on the property and Inn could put their children into daily supervised programs ) . The dance hall was eventually transformed into apartments, laundromat and workshop in the early 80's then most recently into a private residence. The guest unit I am renting has been fully renovated and reinvented this past winter 2019.

In the heart of Annapolis Royal, the Famous Red Shed, anything but a shed. Walk to galleries, restaurants,Licquor & grocery stores, King's Theatre, Historic garden, or any amenity. You’ll love T.F.R.S.,because of the cosiness, convenience, and private fenced in back yard. This private house is excellent for couples, solos; up to four guests if someone doesn't mind a sofa bed. There is a single bed in the sitting room. The queen bed is in its own room. The Famous Red Shed....stay another day!
Being surrounded by the town of Annapolis Royal is really one of the many bonuses to this property. Let us be perfectly clear..we are unique. The house itself is very comfortable, the yard is large and private, however on Saturdays you are literally in the thick of the famous Annapolis Royal Farmers Market, and everything you make of that. No need to cook that day with vendors less than one hundred yards of your house. Once you arrive, park your car in the private parking, or put your motorcycle in the fenced in yard and walk for the rest of your visit here. Full kitchen, full bath, comfortable, airy and safe. This is probably the place for you.
I love the central location of this house. Every essential convenience of the town, is within walking distance. The street is small, perhaps, 10 houses, including the Mayor's. At the very end of our street is the Saturday Farmers Market.
  • We really enjoyed our recent stay at Cindy's Red Shed. It was our first Airbnb experience and it was just perfect for us. The house was very comfortable and clean, very nicely decorated, and it had everything we needed for our four night stay. Cindy was a great host. She responded very quickly to any questions we had and she met us on our arrival to show us the house. She made us feel very welcome and right at home in her stylish Red Shed. The location was perfect for us and it was easy to park and unload. We didn't do much cooking but it was nice to know we had everything we needed in the kitchen if we had wanted to cook in more than we did. We knew someone who had stayed here so we had a personal recommendation as well as looking at all the great reviews before we booked this house. Since it was our first time with an Airbnb, we were a little uncertain how it would work out, but now that we have stayed there we definitely agree with all the high ratings Cindy has as a host and for the house itself. We would stay there again, and we are now more interested in looking at Airbnb options in our future travels. The Red Shed was a 5 star experience for us, and Cindy is definitely a super host!

  • Cindy's place was awesome! Never got to meet her as it was a short stay, but I'd definitely like to go back!

    Alex2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy's Cabin is a small treasure chest. Very comfortable and individually designed. Everything you need is there. You can feel really comfortable there. The Farmers Market was great. We were able to buy delicious things for dinner.

  • This space is an amazing place to spend down time at after a day of exploring. Cindy is a great host, make sure to check out her antique store (it’s super cool). Annapolis Royal is a very beautiful, quaint, and unique place to relax and find new experiences.

  • Cindy. Is a great host

    Barbara2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • If it’s a shed- which it clearly isn’t - this must be one of the biggest sheds in the world! It’s an amazingly generous, stylish and comfortable space for 2 people (in our case), tucked away in a very quiet location right in the heart of old Annapolis with all the attractions, restaurants etc on your doorstep. Cindy was an absolute pleasure to meet. Highly recommended.

    David2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • The Red Shed is great- it's a great place to chill out. Cindy is very welcoming and can't do enough to help.We thoroughly recommend it!

    David2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We watched a series on short term rentals a while back where the ‘best of the best’ were highlighted. Well Cindy and her Famous Red Shed should have been featured on it! From the moment we opened the door we were in awe. The space is incredibly inviting and there’s a treasure to behold wherever you look with imported exquisite hand made treasures throughout. Fresh cut flowers on the table; supplies in the fridge and cupboards; polished surfaces; comfortable furnishings sporting freshly cleaned white fabrics; and a bunch of local flyers to easily guide her guests during their stay are some of the added touches which are so appreciated. Don’t even get me started on her abundant fragrant gardens. The location is spectacular too but above all of this is the host. An individual who would be hard to forget and one whose acquaintance will remain cherished. We will be back that’s for certain! Thanks Cindy

  • This is an unique experience you must try! The bus is lovely and comfortable. We stayed two nights and had an amazing time. Sean and Tamara are really nice welcoming hosts and gave us many tips what to do around the area. We enjoyed 2 amazing sunsets at the bus and although the nights outside were cold with around 5 degrees, it was really hot and comfortable inside the bus! The communication with Sean and Tamara was perfect.

  • Clean, cozy and cute. So happy with our stay. Lots of privacy.

    Katie2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • It was a marvellous place to stay. Anyone can stay in a house, or an apartment, but a bus. That is decked out with all that you could want. Where would you want to stay? And the sounds of the fields, ponds and Bay of Fundy were magical. Would go back in an instance, this is a definite place to stay for everyone.

    Sam2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was a really nice place to stay! As expected, sleeping in a bus comes with some intricacies, but the hosts provided a nice booklet with explanations of how things work. They also did a walk through and showed us when we first got there. The cooking supplies were good. We were able to boil water for pasta and making pancakes and bacon in the morning. There was only one pan, so a second one would have been welcome when making breakfast. The hosts invited us in to their home to have showers and provided soap, shampoo, etc. The bus was parked perfectly to watch the sun set over the water in the evening, and watch the sun rise through the curtains in the back of the bus in the morning. Two small complaints, we did run out of water, but it wasn’t clear if it was due to our use or an unfilled tank and, however the hosts gave us extra bottles of water and offered to finish our dishes. Finally, use caution when saying hi to Sam (the dog). He is sweet and friendly but very hyper and will jump on you. Unfortunately he left scratches from jumping on my car as we were leaving.

    Peter2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Stay here!!!! It’s the coolest Airbnb I have ever stayed in!! Tamara is a wonderful host!

    Tiffany2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Tamara and Sean are incredibly welcoming and the entire experience was awesome. The bus is very well finished with both ingenious and stylish touches. Everything on it is well-made and feels good - right down to the lantern. At night you can see the flickering lights on the far shore - so that the view is amazing both day and night. Loved it and highly recommend treating yourself. It’s special.

Tansy Patch Cottage is located in the village of Granville Ferry. A 5 minute drive to Annapolis Royal, or a 30 minute stroll. Enjoy a state of the art kitchen and bathroom. This beautiful cottage with its wonderful light is perfect for couples and business travellers. The spacious yard makes it ideal for families, and Upper Clements Park is located 10 minutes away. The views of Annapolis across the basin, the gardens and woodland to amble through, make this a perfect home away from home.
  • Excellent welcome by hostess. Property is detached and offers lots of space, fully furnished, also large garden and terrace with chairs. Property is along a main road but no traffic noise was encountered at night. For us, the property was a good base for Keji NP (45 min) and whale watching (great excursion) from Brier Island, but carefully planned because of ferries that sail 1x per hour (more often in high season)

    Babette2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Alison's place is located in a quiet rural setting just outside of town.

    Wilma2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and even nicer host. 10/10 would recommend.

    Malcolm2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • A very clean tasteful house with a wonderful view. The host is a wealth of information about the area. We would stay there again without hesitation.

    Barb2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is very special-- the design, both inside and outside, is tasteful and sophisticated, the gardens and trees provide welcoming outdoor space, and the location with a riverfront view is stunning. Allison is a great host!

    Heather2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Alison's bungalow is even nicer than the photos suggest. Located on the edge of the charming village of Granville Ferry (on the road to Port Royal) and just 5 minutes by car by Annapolis Royal, it features a lovely, sweeping view of the Annapolis River as well as beautiful gardens, a roomy deck, and a picnic table under a majestic old tree. The inside is tastefully decorated with an eye to the bungalow's 60s origins and also visitors' comfort (an easy chair, for example, complete with a small table for book and coffee, is positioned in front of a picture window facing the river). The kitchen has everything one might need, including (we discovered because we needed one!) an immersion blender. The beds are supremely comfortable and the walk-in shower fantastic. Alison met us upon arrival, gave us some good tips on the area (for example, chowder at the Crow's Nest in Hilsburn), and dropped by a couple of times to check in. All in all, one of my best (if not the best!) Air BnB experience.

    Lisa2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great experience! The cottage across the bay from Annapolis Royal provided wonderful views and grounds with a deck plus seating under the maple tree were perfect. It is only a three minute drive to Annapolis Royal. The house interior was modern and attractive. Allison was the perfect host as she and her husband live next door, but at a distance. I highly recommend this property!

    Christopher2019-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Dear Allison, there is only one thing we can say: thank you for the wonderful time. We felt very comfortable in your beautiful house. You are a great hostess and have furnished your house very tastefully and with attention to detail. We would have liked to stay there forever. Also the property is very beautiful. It was the best accommodation we ever had. We are very happy to come back.

20min from Annapolis Royal with it's vibrant seasonal Farmers Mkt., Gift & Antique Shops, Restaurants, Arts & Culture. 5min to Port Royal Habitat., 25min to Upper Clements. But really, why go anywhere?. Everyone loves Jimmy's Cottage. This place is good for your soul. Amazing view of The River & The North & South Mountains that form The Valley. Access to beach is at end of lot , be amazed at the high & low tides., hunt for sea glass & watch seals. My place is good for solos, cpls &, families.
Master bedroom is on the main floor. 2 other small bedrooms are in the converted attic. Please note that The Cottage maximum is 4 adults (there is only one bathroom (off the kitchen) and the bedrooms in the attic are just 2 small rooms with beds (see pics). It gets hot upstairs in the summer, and chilly in the winter, but there are fans and heaters in both rooms. Hot Tub back up and running :)
Pls note this Cottage is in Port Wade ( Postal Code points to Granville Ferry)
  • Excellent place for a getaway.

  • We are return guests to this lovely cottage. Such a great place to unwind and enjoy nature. Sandra is a gem to deal with!

    Nicole2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Was a perfect little cottage for a quiet girls weekend away, hot tub & wood stove were definitely a hit! Hosts are amazing & super friendly, can't wait to come back!

    Rebecca2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jimmy’s cottage most definitely exceeded our expectations. It was so cute and cozy, exceptionally clean and tidy. The location is spot on with many places to Hike and adventure close by. The cottage overlooks the ocean, providing a great view when dining or relaxing in the hot tub outside. Sandra and Jim were great hosts, I could text them at any point and receive a reply very quickly. They were so kind to provide complementary drinks to get us started on our vacay, and a smart TV and wifi(with good connection!!) to enjoy as well. Overall, a 5 stars is definitely deserved here. Thank you for helping us make our weekend so wonderful!

    William2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this place- quite the view! The very friendly touches of the cottage make all the difference for a weekend getaway. We will be delighted to return.

    Jennifer2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for a long weekend in the winter and it was so cozy! The woodstove is great and really warms up the whole cottage! Sandra and Jim left a really great supply of wood and kindling for us. The hot tub under the stars, overlooking the ocean was dreamy. We had such a lovely time. Get over to Pension Pies if you can (roadside sign on your way back towards Annapolis Royal/Halifax) or stop by their stall at the market!! Swoon over those pies and scones, I'm tellin' ya. This cottage was lovely - plus, great value!

    Robyn2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • My parents had a great stay at Sandra and Jim’s cottage! Loved the hot tub and woodstove, and just a short drive to Annapolis Royal.

The winter season is upon us, so why not make the best of it. Come to Riverside Retreat for a winter get-away, just five minutes from historic Annapolis Royal (2 hrs from Halifax). The cottage is perfect for couples or young families interested in exploring the natural winter landscape of the Annapolis Valley.
Please come for a relaxing time at the cabin, and sit in front of the electric fireplace with a good book and cozy blanket. End your day sitting at an open fire outside the cabin (firewood included) while gazing at the stars and Milky Way through our crystal clear winter skies, and don't forget to make a wish upon a falling star! Note that 'smores' also taste good in the dark winter night! Either way, this is the place for you to beat those winter-time blues.
You are five-minute drive from historic Annapolis Royal, the oldest permanent settlement in North America and host to Fort Anne, the Historic Gardens, the Habitation, the first tidal power plant in North America, and a quaint main street and waterfront on the world-renowned Bay of Fundy, with the highest tides in the world. You are also less than a 45 minute drive from Kejimkujik National Park, and whale-watching or sea kayaking out of nearby Digby, Nova Scotia. A short walking trail to the Annapolis River starts at your door, giving you access to marine wildlife (beaver, ducks, geese, seals, etc.) and fishing for mackerel, flounder, and 'lunker'-sized striped bass (these tidal waters require no fishing license). There is also an outdoor barbecue and fire pit ready to help you roast some marshmallows.
  • This beautiful little cabin was perfect for our weekend winter getaway. Nice and quiet, just off the beaten path, and within a short drive to Annapolis Royal. We enjoyed several hikes and walks, as well as the experiences in town. His cabin, right on the river, and with stairs' access down to the water. Will definitely have to make a return trip in the summer!

  • Great place nice and clean loved the added touches of local products for breakfast and other amenities a great place to stay

    Chris2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy was a great host! He had the place ready for us with some cider, fireplace and music on! We loved the local bacon and eggs he left in the fridge for us. We had a great stay! :)

    Tara2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic get away in a beautiful spot! Jeremy is a super host and it definitely shows, he provides excellent attention to detail (local apple cider in ice ready to go, local bacon and free range eggs for breakfast and a Christmas tree all set up). He is also great at providing recommendations and local must-sees/dos. We will definitely be back!

    Dan2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy went above and beyond for us. We were welcomed with ciders on ice and local bacon and eggs. Coming down to visit family has never been so easy. He made us feel very welcomed even had a little Christmas tree set up. Just perfection. Thank you for all the laughs.

    Erika2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is comfortable but rustic. Lots of privacy, a great deck for eating out, and a nice path through the woods and down over the stairs to the water. There aren't many walks from the cabin, but it's well located for exploring (by car) the nearby town of Annapolis Royal (5 minutes away) and many wonderful parks, hiking trails, fishing villages and lovely waterside towns all along the coasts of Nova Scotia.

    Barbara2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent and attentive hosts in a comfortable and relaxing setting. What more could anyone want? In the last year my wife and I have stayed here on three occasions (the last time during extra tropical storm Dorian - where we were as snug as bugs!). We are looking forward to our fourth upcoming trip in November! We find Jeremy's cabin a great place to stay when we visit Annapolis Royal (where we are treated to wonderful venues at the King's Theatre) and the Historical Gardens while touring the surrounding area. :)

    Owen2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Just fabulous Jeremy make our trip perfect. The cabin is clean and well located. The bed is very comfortable and you have everything fresh for breakfast eggs, bacon and blueberry. Don’t hesitate to make Jeremy’s place, your choice and you will enjoy it!

  • What a wonderful Airbnb experience. Glen is a very good communicator. He will make sure you find the house and know everything about getting started once you're there. I really enjoyed my stay in the house. It is an absolute gem! I absolutely would stay there again and can highly recommend for other people to do the same.

  • GIen's house is very warm, comfortable and homely. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook for yourself. The shortcoming is that it is far from the town, so you must buy food before you go in. There is no toiletries, hair dryer, the mobile phone signal is weak, you can't contact the outside world.

    2019-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful little house that sits perfectly in the rustic bay side fishing village in which it’s located. Glen is a wonderful host and although I didn’t get to meet him in person, he was meticulous in his preparation of the house to give me the best Airbnb experience. This is just the place to stay (with everything one needs available) for a quiet seaside holiday within easy driving distance of Annapolis Royal. Thanks for all the trouble you went to, Glen, to provide such an excellent Airbnb experience.

    John2018-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • I slept well in the quaint single room and enjoyed relaxing evenings in this charming and beautifully furnished older home in a rural area.

    Marilyn2018-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Glen’s home has everything you could possibly need for a cozy stay on the coast! There is a sweet deck on the back of the house overlooking a little garden, and when the fog lifts, a view out to the water from the kitchen window. This would be an ideal place to come with family or friends and to rent all the rooms simultaneously (there are 3) as you also have access to living, dining room, den, sunrooms, and full kitchen! I felt extremely well cared for while there, and Glen even came to my rescue in the middle of the night when the fire alarm sounded due to low battery. I would happily return if back in the area. Thanks again, Glen!

  • Glen was thoughtful and gave detailed instructions, both for locating the cottage and for navigating our way around the house. We didn't get to meet in person, but we felt welcomed and greatly appreciated the multiple breakfast options Glen had left at our disposal. The cottage has a traditional feel to it, yet has all the essential amenities you need for a pleasant stay. Would stay again!

  • Great quiet place, very cute seaside fishing village. Big house, wifi was spotty but for a quick stay it's no problem.

There is no toiletries, hair dryer, the mobile phone signal is weak, you can't contact the outside world.

  • Martha and Art are terrific hosts and provide wonderful accommodations and friendly conversation. The beds are very comfortable and the delicious breakfast was fresh, local and plentiful! My daughter and I both felt like we were staying with family. We will definitely return.

  • We have stayed at quite a few air bnb’s but this one is the best. From the lovely room to the amazing breakfast and most especially the kind hosts. Art and Martha made us feel like family not customers. Can’t wait to come back to Nova Scotia and stay here again.

    Tammy2018-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Martha and Art truly exceeded our expectations in every way. It was like staying with family. Such a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a place to stay, do yourself a favour and stay here.

  • This is a bed and breakfast in a historic house. Art and Martha did a great job restoring and preserving the history of the building, and Art took us on a detailed tour of the various artifacts in his home. The grand kitchen hearth is still intact! Our stay was very comfortable, Art provided brochures and advise on what to do in town, and engaged with and became our daughter's best friend. He even prepared her a special dutch breakfast! Martha's breakfast is to die for...

    Houssam2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay! A great spot with a view of the water, not far from Annapolis Royal. The historic home has lots of charm, and Art and Martha were great hosts! Be sure to ask them for suggestions for local attractions and food - we were very pleased with Shore Road Seafood, which we probably wouldn't have found without their tips. The fantastic spread Martha made for breakfast was delicious! Would recommend to anyone planning a trip to this part of Nova Scotia!

  • The B&B is located on the other side of Annapolis Royal (in Glanville Ferry) with a spectacular view: Annapolis Royal and the water (esp. with the sun in the morning). The garden is a beautiful spot to relax. The road is quiet and it's a got location to drive in all directions. Parking directly at the house. We had the "Harris Suite" for three, with a separate bedroom for our child. Everything very cosy and clean. Our son also got lego from Martha and kids books were available, too. Martha and Art indulged us with a big variety of breakfast: Homemade quiche / cinnamon buns, fresh fruit salad, little pancakes, jam, eggs, bacon, coffee, juice, cereals... We also had nice conversations and were invited for a "board game night". But couldn't make it this time as we came home late and tired from our excursions. The house has an interesting history, Martha shared with us, while she showed us the cosy kitchen. You can see and feel, that Art & Martha enjoy meeting and serving people. The atmosphere is very familial. We can highly recommend to stay at "Grand Oak Manor". A good spot for a small family, too.

    Claudia2017-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most wonderful stay with Art & Martha! I am travelling the east coast with my friend and son. We stayed in the Harris room and it's exactly as shown in the pictures! So adorable. I absolutely loved this house and the town of Annapolis Royal. Art & Martha were both extremely kind, accommodating, and informative. They made you feel very welcome and at home. The breakfast was amazing and the best one I've had on my trip! Would definitely stay here again!

Why the neighbourhood of our cottage is unique? Because we have everything: * For the historical buff: our cottage is minutes away from Annapolis Royal, which historic core was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1994. So, come and have the pleasure to spent time in the place that faced a total of thirteen attacks, more than any other place in North America. Check the tide times for Annapolis Royal at (URL HIDDEN) Is it high tide yet? * How about visiting Kejimkujik National Park? So, wake up early and drive to Kejimkujik National Park. See (URL HIDDEN) or check “Getting Around” section for instruction. Its Visitor Centre is open: 8:30 am – 8:00 pm Daily (June 23 – September 3). * For the kids of all ages: Nova Scotia's largest amusement park —Upper Clements Parks (composed of two parks: Upper Clements Theme Park and Upper Clements Adventure Park (URL HIDDEN) ) is located west of Annapolis Royal in nearby Upper Clements. * Tired of cooking: For good pub food, I would recommend the Ye Olde Towne Pub (opened as a pub in 1986 (in a building from 1884). I love their daily specials. The History and Things to Do in the Area: Built in 1804 we are the second oldest house in Lequille NS. Our house was built by Thomas Easson the grandson of John Easson who came to Annapolis Royal in 1738 as the master carpenter at Fort Anne. We are an Annapolis County registered historic property and upon completion of the house in 1804 it was named The Ashdale. It is because of this that we named our farm Ashdale Acres. The house has historically been used for many different agricultural purposes and was a working dairy farm up until 1968. Scott and I fell in love with this house and property as soon as we saw it. Annapolis Royal, the oldest (and one of the quaintest) towns in Canada, is the home of The Historic Gardens and Fort Anne as well as many unique shops, galleries and restaurants. You can take a local tour like the Acadian Heritage Experience or the Candlelight Graveyard Tour. Have a look at the Annapolis Royal website for more ideas about what to do in Annapolis Royal. We think Lequille is pretty special too. We are a 5 minute walk to the famous Lequille Country Store which is popular for hunting and fishing supplies, but also features snacks, sandwiches, and lets not forget, Ice Cream. Right across the street, and also a 5 minute walk is Still Fired Distillery– it is the first “legal” still in Nova Scotia and it now specializes in the production of the fine, hand-crafted and unique spirits produced here. They have a beautiful tasting room and you can even sample their product in a cocktail, which makes the 5 minute walk very beneficial!
What is nearby: There is so much to do in the area, you definitely will be busy! And no matter where you go, you are guaranteed a scenic drive. In the area there are many art galleries, several wineries, quite a few breweries, antique shops and theatres. Music: You won’t get very far in Nova Scotia without having the opportunity to enjoy the great musical talent that exists here. You do not have to leave Annapolis Royal for live performances, many of the restaurants in Annapolis Royal host live music on a regular basis as does the Annapolis Brew Pub right downtown. Dawn Oman, an artist in neighbouring Bridgetown has purchased an old church on the main street. It houses her wonderful Art Gallery as well as regular music jams. The acoustics in the church are fabulous which makes every live performance a special experience. Lunn’s Mills Brewery in nearby Lawrencetown has regular music events and great food. Below we have categorized a few attractions by their distance from our location. 2 km or less: Downtown Annapolis Royal – drive, cycle or take the rail trail Lequille Country Store Still Fired Distillery Historic Gardens Fort Anne O’Dell Museum – Local history and a geneology research centre with staff to assist you. Sinclair Museum Fort View Golf Course also on the property is the Founders House, listed below. The Founders Restaurant Annapolis Royal Farmers and Traders Market – Wed/Sat in the summer Under 15 KM Port Royal Melanson Acadian Settlement Tidal Power Station Mickey Hill Loop - Hiking Trail Dunromin Campground – canoe, kayak, paddle boat rentals Upper Clements Park Nautical Seafood in Parkers Cove Under 25K Bridgetown Valleyview Provincial Park Raven Haven -beachside-family-park canoe, kayak, pedal boat rentals Bear River – galleries, wineries and cafes A Little Farther: Digby – 35KM with a store named Frenchy's that is Nova Scotia famous. Liverpool and South Shore with white sand beaches – 113 KM Yarmouth – 132 KM Kejimkujik National Park – 50KM
