Sue has a beautiful home in a beautiful location, and she made us feel right at home. We wanted to check in later than what is shown on her listing, and she was very flexible both in our check-in and check-out to help accommodate our needs. She was also extremely prompt and an excellent communicator as we discussed details before the trip. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious; although we were only there for a short time, we were very cozy and comfortable. It was great chatting with Sue in the short time that we were there, and she was incredibly warm and welcoming throughout our time there. We would definitely stay again.

My husband and I wanted to ride our bicycles on the withlacoochee rail to trail from the southernmost point close to Dade City all the way north and then stay the night somewhere and then return 46 mules back to our car the next day. Sue's home literally backs up to the trail. We could not have found a more perfect location to stay. After our 46 mile ride her beautiful swimming pool was exactly what the doctor ordered. Sue offered to drive us to a restaurant that evening being we had only our bicycles for transportation. She carefully inquired what our preferences would be and then took us to the swamp house right on the rainbow river where we sat outside and enjoyed a terrific meal. Her home is cozy and extremely clean. She accommodated our every need. After a wonderful breAkfast we hit the trail just outside her bAck door and headed south. We highly recommend staying at sue's airbnb and will be going back again in the future.

Sue was very well received and we did everything that we feel very good exchange without being too imposing. The room was lovely and the bathroom. Everything was very clean and well decorated. The neighborhood is very quiet. We went swimming with the manatees early the next morning and Sue had taken care to turn us pretty lights in the house for a pleasant awakening.

Sue is an incredibly gracious and giving host. The day before I arrived she took time to point out the best places for me to visit in the area and even offered to be my guide if needed. When you arrive at her door Sue greets you with a big smile and instantly makes you feel at ease and welcome. Her home is very cozy and comfortable and well decorated. Sue was a great listener and conversationalist and I left feeling as if I had made a friend.

The most fantastic get-away-from-it-all, just a short drive from crystal river, manatees and the most spectacular swimming holes I've ever seen! Rene was a fantastic host, even took me out kayaking for a day. Very available to help plan activities or just to relax in her little piece of paradise. The unicorns are beautiful, friendly and just a little cheeky! Hope to stay again one day!

The Jojo was a great little spot for us! The one-room cabin had a bed, dresser for clothes, small fridge, and heater (plus an a/c unit for summer time). It was a cold weekend, so we chose not to use the outdoor shower, but Rene offered the indoor shower for us to use while that room was not rented out. Her son helped us start a fire in the fire pit one night, so we could stay warm and see the stars, which we miss living in a big city. It was fun to have the horses around, and Rene has a sweet dog and cats, too. Such a peaceful place, and I would love to stay there again when the weather warms up. Not a bad drive to Crystal River to see manatees or to Dunnellon to see the Rainbow River. Rene was very kind and welcoming, which was great for us, as this was our first time using Airbnb!

Rene was very nice to us upon booking the place and arriving at our destination, but when we got there things weren't as advertised. She told us that she offers horseback riding, but both of her horses are rescues and can't be rode. We were supposed to stay in the outside cabin, JoJo's place, but she put us in a room in her house instead without any explanation. The room was clean, but the rest of the house looked a mess. The roof in the bathroom was not completed, has wires and is exposed. The outside had stuff laying around everywhere and wasn't tidy like in the pictures. There was busted glass in one of the doorways. The outdoor shower area was very shabby. What really deterred us from leaving this listing and receiving a refund from airbnb, which was super difficult, was that another tenant, a male one, was staying on the other side of the house, and my female friend and I felt very uncomfortable with him being just a door down.

Had a wonderful stay in the JoJo, the A/C in there was pumping cold air!!! I slept great and was very comfy. The first night I made a fire outback that was incredibly relaxing and the horses enjoyed it as well. The second day I went to rainbow river state park and rented kayaks for the day, beautiful water, and amazing swimming! Then that night used the hot tub to relax after paddling for hours. The JoJo was great. It helped being able to use the fridge in the main house. I would stay again

Amy and Paul went above and beyond expectations. Not only was the room clean, comfortable, private and accessible, Amy kindly made and prepared a coffee cake breakfast each morning and discussed regional places to explore.

Such a nice couple and place. I booked last minute to see the manatees at Crystal River (20min easy drive) and Amy and Paul were really accommodating. The house is so beautifully decorated, clean and feels really cozy and their doggie is sweet. There was great wifi, shampoo, conditioner, s-gel and the lot. Even got a lovely plate of apple pie! Will absolutely stay again!

Out stay at Amy & Paul's was by far the best experience we had with Airbnb! After our late in the day request to book a room, we received an immediate response - from our experience this is rare considering that it was around the holiday time. The hosts were very accommodating despite the fact that were arriving past midnight, and gave us clear instructions about everything we needed. The only thing I do regret is not having met the best hosts in person (we had to leave early) - as I would have the most pleasure thanking Amy & Paul for their beautiful and clean place, comfortable beds, and other things they have provided us with (towels, shampoo, lotion...), to say nothing about how quiet they were. I am very picky about places to stay, but Amy & Paul's place is definitely the one I will be returning to. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, do not think twice - book with Amy & Paul - and I guarantee you that you will not regret!

This has been such a great stay. Amy & Paul are both the best of hosts. The rooms and bath are beautifuly decorated and supplied with everything (& more!) that you could possibly need. They are very friendly and accommodating and we love the puppy Ella, too. We would recommend P's Place to anyone wanting to visit this area. It is close to many outdoor activities ie.....rivers, Manatees and good restaurants. We were provided with breakfast pasteries each morning and the coffee was good.

Great place with easy river access close by. We could use the backyard river access for our kayaks but choose to go to the boat ramp 1/2 mile away. Bring bug spray as bugs are bad in evening... but that is to be expected . Dennis is very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

This home is very convenient to downtown Dunnellon, Crystal River, Beverly Hills and Inverness. A quiet spot on the river with beautiful windows that look out. Check out the Blue Gator and Swampy's restaurants in Dunnellon.

This house is in a wonderful location for a relaxing family vacation. We loved kayaking on the river and seeing the birds, turtles, and even a river otter while paddling. There is a city beach nearby with "watch for alligator" signs; we didn't see gators near the house, but did spot one in a cove when we paddled over to the Withalacoochee River. Sitting on the dock sipping coffee first thing in the morning was wonderfully relaxing, and we enjoyed using the lanai in the evening, where we could hear the evening chorus of frogs and birds while out of reach of the mosquitoes. Because the Rainbow River is a no wake zone, the boat traffic in front of the house is slow moving and fairly quiet. It's also popular with people using kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, especially on Saturday, but never felt crowded. The Dunellon area has several good restaurants and there is a very small historic area with nice antique and specialty shops. It was an easy drive from Tampa, where we flew into the airport, and we visited Homosassa Springs State Park nearby to see the manatees. The house itself was well furnished and had plenty of room for six adults. It could use a bit of updating, as previous reviewers have mentioned, but overall it's in good condition. The kitchen is fully furnished with pots and pans, flatware, and plates, cups and glasses, but sparse on "extras" - there were coffee filters, a roll of paper towels, and salt and pepper, but no plastic wrap, foil, sugar, etc that we've found in the kitchens of other houses we've rented (perhaps left behind by other renters). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return to "Dos Rios" for a future vacation.

Dos Rios is the perfect place for a getaway on the Rainbow River. The house was spacious and had a very open floor plan. The views from the back yard were beautiful and it was only about a 10 minute drive from KP Hole Park to rent a boat and visit the springs. The house was very clean but definitely outdated. If you're looking for a posh vacation house you're not going to get that here but it definitely suited our needs! I do recommend that you bring some basic cooking items like butter and oil as they aren't supplied. We purchased eggs, bacon, etc. for cooking but didn't think to get butter or oil. There's also a bar walking distance from the house that had a live band over the weekend.

We just returned from a week-long stay here for my daughters' spring break, and we all absolutely loved it. My girls (ages 12 & 14) agreed it was their favorite vacation to date because there was so much to do. The house was clean and very roomy, and the property manager, Gayle, was very helpful and great at keeping the pool clean after major storms dumped pollen and leaves into it 2 nights in a row. We used the 2 kayaks every day and, combined with our own canoe that we brought with us, had lots of fun family time on the river. We also rented a pontoon boat and explored the Withlacoochee River one day (saw a HUGE alligator there); kayaked from KP Hole County Park to Rainbow Springs State Park (highly recommend that); hiked around Rainbow Springs State Park with our cameras; swam with the manatees (we rented a pontoon for $25/hour and did our own 2-hour tour rather than pay $50+each for a guided tour, and the operator said we did the right thing since the manatees were mostly gone already); fished from the dock and kayaks; swam; and just enjoyed the nature all around us.

The location on the river was an absolute delight. Having two kayaks available for our use was fantastic. We enjoyed being on the patio, the dock and the river. The house and furnishings, however, were rather old and shabby and not entirely clean.

My wife and I absolutely LOVED this place. It's a little back in the woods and requires some skillful driving, but the venue itself was lovely. The bed is off the chain comfortable! It was more than enough space for my wife and I and it's 20ish minutes away from rainbow river springs!

I like the location of the cabin. It is so convenient to go to Rainbow River and KP hole. The cabin has everything that we need for the stay. It is clean and comfortable.

Clean. Great layout for 2 couples. Richard was super fast on replies. Head over to the river for a once in a life time experience. Literally 75 percent cheaper then a hotel with kitchenette. Came down from Canada for a 4 day weekend. Perfect set up.

Great stay! Place was clean and beds are comfortable. We had an easy check-in and out. Quick walk to the park on the Rainbow River. The park is beautiful! Bring your water toys. Or the place is very convenient to KP Hole if you want to rent tubes or canoes. Grocery store and restaurants are also close by. Our family enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Andre's place is beautiful! The location is central to many things to see and do in Florida, including Orlando, Tampa, beaches and many state parks. Andre and his wife made our stay so welcoming and comfortable. They have all the things needed in the house: towels, cookware, dishes, modern appliances and more - all the comforts of home. Andre even helped us by providing suggestions of things to see and do in FL. They made check-in and check-out easy and convenient. We will definitely rent from them again!! Andre and his wife are lovely hosts and take great care of their guests.

The moment we walked into this home, we knew it was the perfect place for our stay! It was so clean, neat, bright, and spacious. The pool sparkled from a screened area, as well as a screened in lanai, where we relaxed a few nights. My mother walks with a walker, so I was a little concerned for her. But the house is so spacious she had no issues walking at all. The owner was very nice and helpful. He answered all of our questions, and also provided a list of area restaurants and attractions to see. I HIGHLY recommend this home if you are staying in the Citrus area! We will definitely be back.

Excellent location, spectacular property, could not ask for more. This place is a steal. We came for an 8-day work trip and it was just like home for us. Do not hesitate to book this one. Betsy was very accommodating to me and my girlfriend. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is close enough to everything, but far enough out to feel at piece. We enjoyed meeting the family and playing with the dog moses. Betsy was so nice to make us coffee and made sure we had some sustenance before we left. The room is exactly as it appears, and there were no negative surprises.

Very cute entrance way. We came in late at night and the drive way was well lite, felt very safe. Room was inside the house, great size mattress was comfy. Wifi worked fast. Even though it was cold outside the temperature inside was perfect. Super friendly, clean cute dog! Steve and Betsy were great hosts. They have a lovely home and a cute dog. We had to get up early to go to our manatee tour (just a 20 minute drive, very convenient) but Betsy and Steve were already up and had brewed a fresh pot of coffee to share. We were bummed we couldn't stay longer to chat some more!

We had a great stay in Betsy's home. She and her husband were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and possible things to do in the area. Nice comfortable room, and having the en suite half bath was really nice and convenient as well.

Betsy and Steve were great host, very flexible with our schedule and they offered us a warm and nice hospitality. Moses the dog was very friendly and not annoying at all. I wish we had more time to spend to talk with both of them but we had a rendez-vous with the manatees... and their house was the perfect place to stay and be at 15 minutes of the manatees place ! So don't hesitate to get lost in Beverly Hills ;-)

My sister and I stayed at Epona Place for three nights to enjoy a weekend together kayaking and hiking at all the wonderful parks in the area - Crystal River, Withlacoochee State Park, Rainbow River. We very much enjoyed the tranquil setting - horses, chickens, whippoorwills, lightening bugs, and all the peacefulness of a place out in the country. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck each evening. Rene is a very gracious host. She went out of her way to be sure that my sister and I were comfortable! Thanks Rene! We'll be back!

I booked Rene's place very last minute and she was great at getting back right away. She was a very unique place with horses, chickens and a very friendly dog. The room itself was clean and decorated very eclectically. Rene was welcoming and gave me great advise on local spots to visit.

Very comfortable place with lots of space! We were quickly in and out, but enjoyed our stay. We brought food and cooked dinner (plenty of pots / pans), and had a comfortable sleep in the large bed. The only downside to our stay was that we were excited for a dip in the jacuzzi, but it was out of commission at the time.

Rene was very welcoming and her place was very pretty, clean and comfortable. She went above and beyond by having some friends take us to kayak at a river nearby and also to make sure we had a nice fire in the fire pit that night.

The area has many golf courses to choose from and is located close to or easy access to interesting sites such as the nature coast, Homosassa Springs and Ocala Horse Farms. This was our first time using Airbnb and we weren't sure of how things worked. Well, it couldn't have gone smoother and Millie's house exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate and true to the photos and she was very welcoming and accommodating. The beds were great and it really felt like 'home' for the 2 nights we stayed!!
