  • Great location! Such a cute place. We loved the jacuzzi however i will say it was not easy to understand the instructions. The sheets and comforter on the bed was very soft but the bed itself was pretty hard. Easy to walk to the restaurants and shops from the house. We had a fun lil getaway. I highly recommend staying here.

FrontHaven is just 3 blocks, and easy walk along the waterfront trail, to historic downtown Coupeville. Coupeville is the 2nd oldest town in WA and has an extensive heritage. We are right on Penn Cove, with occasional Orcas, grey whales, and seals, the view of Mount Baker is fabulous. You can see wonderful sunsets from the loft’s west windows and the Cove and Mt. Baker from the East window. Deer wander through the property daily and bald eagles perch in the trees out front.
  • This place is beautiful and located in an excellent place! It was easy to check in and Chris was very welcoming. 10/10 recommend! Also, I would definitely stay here again!

    Connie2020-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Chris is an exceptional host. The house is comfortable and clean, the kitchen was well outfitted and the location can’t be beat. Thanks again, Chris.

  • Wonderful stay! Perfect location, walking distance to the quaint town of Coupeville. Super clean space, perfect for 2 couples. Enough amenities to cook meals during the stay. Hosts were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. There is one small tv upstairs, if you’re needing it, it’s a small space. We didn’t have a need to watch tv during our trip....it was very nice to feel unplugged and away from it all. Will definitely stay again! Thank you Chris!

The cottage is very family friendly. You can walk right across the street and follow a trail to the beach and then a short walk to old historic Coupeville. The cottage was built in 1942 in Seattle and barged to Coupeville in early 70's when they put in Interstate 5. As you walk around our little town of Coupeville you will see several of these cottages that made the same journey!
My cottage is very sweet and family friendly. 640 square ft. Tiny but functional.
  • This is our second stay at Kellie's Cottage. We come for the annual mussel fest in Coupville. The cottage is very clean, the decor is very cute and the kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfy and rooms are spacious. This cottage offers everything you need for a weekend get away. We highly recommend this property and Kelly is always prompt to respond. We will be back.

    Kristin2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Kellie's lovely cottage was exactly what we had hoped it would be, plus more! It was extremely comfortable, clean, and relaxing, and the location was amazing. My husband and I really liked the easy walk in to Coupeville, and enjoyed a croissant or cinnamon roll many mornings at the local bakery. We had wondered a bit about the bathroom since there wasn't a photo of it, but like the rest of the cottage, it was clean and functional. We were on Coupeville to have our baby at the local Birth Center, and we felt great bringing home our newborn to this cozy haven. In addition, Kellie herself was very generous, flexible and helpful, while also providing us with space, and I really enjoyed all of my interactions with her. I can't highly enough recommend this cottage - we're recommending it to all of our friends!

    Heather2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Kellie's place for our Whidbey weekend! The space was spotlessly clean and exactly what we were needing for a get away. It was also kid-friendly and our little toddler loved running around the yard! Highly recommend staying here when you're in the area.

    Ryan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Love Kellie’s Cottage!

    Brooke2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage with all needed amenities is only a short 10min walk along the bluff path from downtown Coupeville. This is our 15th long weekend trip to Coupeville and Kellie's Cottage is the most comfortable of all the places we have stayed! We travel on a budget and like to be self contained and Kellie's full equiped kitchen (actually has a full set of basic meal prep tools!) allowed us to tend to our needs and wants. Parking is ample! The location is quiet and seems to be a bit of a wildlife refuge with a family of 4 deer pretty much ever present. (The neighbor's large free roaming rabbit seems to have a particularly close friendship with the deer). We would recommend Kellie's Cottage to anyone visiting Coupeville and look forward to our next stay!

  • Charming cottage, communicative owners, and amazing location off the water.

    Katie2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • It was the perfect size for my sister in law and myself. It was very clean with plenty of extra supplies, and it has a warm and cozy feel. Since we didn’t have a car, it was great that it is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend it.

    Marjean2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute and stylish house close to downtown Coupeville. Even though the house is small, it had everything we needed and was still very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. My boys loved seeing the deer every day and I loved being so close to the water. Would definitely recommend this place if you are planning a trip to the Island.

My place is close (10 min walk) to picturesque Front Street Coupeville with its old world charm and regular special events. You’ll love the Green Dragon because of the relaxing neighborhood, and the proximity to awesome state parks , the local hospital , equestrian center , art and photography schools . • My second stay here and I have zero complaints. Jon is an amazing host.

    Omar2020-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • Jon and Linda are a couple of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They communicate well, and they enjoy chatting with you when you pass through their living room and kitchen. The bed space is perfect for two people, and the kitchen has more than enough room and utensils and cookware to be shared between you and whoever else is staying with Jon and Linda. They're two cats are very friendly, and I often got to say hi to the dogs whenever they were outside. I think the dogs belong to a different renter, but they were very nice.

    John2020-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Jon was an excellent communicator and very accommodating. Nice quiet place that’s centrally located.

    Omar2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • We felt very welcome in their home. The host was welcoming and did a good job orienting is in their home. The accommodations were very comfortable. It was walking distance to downtown and other amenities.

    Erin2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Jon and Linda's is always great fun and restorative for the body and soul. It far surpasses the traditional AirBnB experience, because it feels like home, yet there is plenty of privacy when you want it, a view to soothe your cares, plenty of amenities, not the least of which are roaming deer outside and cuddly furry four-leggeds inside, and, overall, great value!

    Linda2020-03-05T00:00:00Z

  • Sylvia has put together an absolutely charming home away from home. I don't know how she did it, but we even awoke in the morning to a bald eagle perched on the tree outside. The walk into town is short and scenic. The restaurants were all hits!

Absolutely beautiful views of the water, thoughtful touches (the homemade cookies were delicious!), and great recommendations for what to eat/do/see in town. The location was also unbeatable. A jewel hidden in the middle of Ebey's Historical Reserve's prairie is on the National Historic Register. This fully restored farm house provides the best of living in a calmer time and having the amenities you'd expect in a house today. A spectacular Ebey's Prairie setting, it is close to town, or you can walk to the beach. Set on an acre surrounded by actively farmed land which makes each season unique. Beautiful prairie views during both sunrises and sunsets.
Steps away from the most iconic hike on Whidbey Island, it is also near the town of Coupeville that is filled with world class restaurants and cute shops.
  • Kathy's place is wonderful! A great location, right between Ebby's Landing and Coupeville. The house itself is so cute! Has a great large kitchen and living space. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

    Jessica2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at the cottage for the weekend. A lovely comfy, cosy space to relax. The cottage had so much character and felt like stepping back in time with all the modern day amenities. Kathy was so quick to respond and so very helpful. We would not hesitate to go back or recommend to family and friends.

    Jeanette2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • I’m convinced Kathy’s home is the best find on Airbnb. Our family went to Whidbey for a New Year’s getaway, and this house made the trip for us. The kitchen is super well equipped, the whole space is clean and welcoming, and there are so many thoughtful touches throughout that make this house feel like home. Kathy has lots of games and toys, so we didn’t even need to break out the activities we’d brought for our four- and six-year-old. She also left great directions for local walks and beach access. We’ll be back for our next visit to the area!

    Kathleen2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This farm house is a lovely, charming, and comfortable spot for exploring beautiful Ebey's Landing and this historic area. Kathy welcomed us with a pan of brownies, still warm from the oven. The home is well appointed with a great kitchen and super comfortable beds. We look forward to coming back!

    Janna2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • This home was is located close to Coupeville with easy access to wonderful walking trails on Ebey’s Landing. Our family enjoyed staying here during Christmas week. The weather was cool and frosty, the home was cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed the farmhouse kitchen and the beautiful views of the surrounding prairie.

    Tara2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy’s house was so cute! Close to town while still being private and out in the country. Large, stocked kitchen that we cooked all out meals in, little touches like guest soap and candles made it feel special, instructions for how to use the heat and navigate the house. It was so cozy, very comfortable, and I hope to come back again in the future. What really made our trip was her suggestion to visit Ebey Landing, and it was very worth it. Definitely the highlight of the scenery.

    Lucy2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great getaway close to Seattle. We walked to Ebey's landing and explored the area on the f . The farm house was perfect for us (party of 4). Tv's setting is beautiful. Nestled amongst fiekds with views to the Olympic mountains, this place is great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house is a historic farm house ans the ambiance of this renovated tresure matched our expectations.

    Uwe2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, comfy, relaxing. Just the perfect spot for a family getaway, in a picture perfect setting. Love the proximity to hikes, grocery store, and town, but we honestly could have stayed in the entire weekend, the little farmhouse was that great. Kathy was a perfect host as well, very thoughtful and communicative. Can't wait to come back!

We like to share our house using one booking per month, start times flexible. But let us know whatever your scheduling needs are! We accommodate longer stays. Most of the first floor of a two story 1890's Victorian House. This large suite of rooms is private and has front door access direct to easy street parking.
This neighborhood is very quiet. A nice short walk to the Food Coop, the beach at the Boat Haven or Uptown and Downtown.
  • This place is in a great location to get to the food coop and library. Along with various other small businesses in Port Townsend. Keep in mind, there is no microwave—we still make up bottles, so we had to get creative. It stayed very warm and was a great price for us to stay while looking for permanent housing. Loved being able to go on walks in the evenings. This is a great place for those who enjoy vintage environments. Ron was amazing at letting us know about the local area and very understanding! Easy check in. I would recommend this for a couple (possibly with one child) or pay for the additional room if you can! We had three children five and under and probably should have sprung for the extra room!

  • This place was great! Wonderful location, comfortable space and great hosts!

    Tom2019-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time at Ron Paul's place. It's the first floor of an older house, furnished with antiques and exceptionally clean. The location is terrific--a quick walk to downtown, Aldrich Market, and Farmers' Market. Bonus points for fawns in the backyard!

    Suzanne2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is inside of a large older house with plenty of space and privacy. It's a bit funky, in that old house sort of way, but also charming and low key. The apartment is in a really great location that's walking distance to everything downtown. I acclimated quickly and felt right at home for the duration of my stay. The host was very kind and quick with his responses. The storage space was more than sufficient thanks to lots of built-in shelving by the front entrance. The full size kitchen was well equipped and there was even a backup refrigerator in the laundry room if the unit's mini-fridge got full. Overall I enjoyed my stay and felt this listing was of a very good value.

  • The apartment is spacious but has a cozy feeling. I enjoyed the short walk to Uptown and downtown--just a few short blocks. Ron is the ideal host and responded immediately to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I love the light in this apartment, lots of windows that make it feel airy and bright.

  • I have stayed in vacation rentals in the USA and around the world for years. But, this was my first experience with Airbnb. After a few glitches that were probably my errors, the staff at Airbnb and the owner helped me secure this rental. The place is called a “cottage.” So, I was surprised how spacious it is. Great sized kitchen with full sized appliances and everything anyone would need to cook meals and even bake up a storm. Two comfortable couches in the living room and a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. The spare bedroom has two single beds. It was pretty cold during our stay. The two bedrooms and the main living area all have separate thermostats, so it was easy to be comfortable all the time. We usually turned down the temperature at night in the main living area and used one of the space heaters in the bathroom so it was cozy in the middle of the night. The “cottage” has a electric fireplace in the living room that we used occasionally to add a little warmth to the area while watching TV. The internet was very reliable. There were deer in the neighborhood almost daily. The views of the bay and the mountains is great when the weather cooperates. The whole town is quiet and except for the occasional windstorms, or some seagulls, I didn’t hear any loud noises day, or night. We extended our original one month stay by several weeks any I look forward to renting this cottage on any future visits to the Pacific Northwest. Last, but not least, Patti was an excellent host. She was flexible and met all my changes quickly. In summary, if you are looking for a quiet place to spend a month, you could hardly beat Patti’s cottage.

  • This snug little cottage was perfect for 4 guests. We visited with family comfortably on the two soft couches. Although a block or so in from the water, the views were lovely. A nice quiet retreat.

    Jennifer2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Patti's place is in a perfect location to enjoy Coupeville. It was clean and perfect for our group, 2 adults and 2 kids. Suggest bringing a HDMI streaming device (TV had a port) if you want to watch anything other than DVD's, but Patti did have a pretty large collection. Comfortable, warm and lovely. Kitchen very nicely outfitted.

    Anne2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Patti’s home is wonderful. So quiet and cute. Sitting on the porch just looking at the water would have been enough, but we explored the village and shops, and came home to enjoy a fire in the bbq pit and hung out with the deer. I can’t say enough good about the cottage, warm, clean and cozy. It exceeded our expectations. Thank you Patti. We will definitely come back.

    Amy2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Patti's house was a fabulous. So cute and cozy. A great spot for a home base when exploring the island.

  • We were amazed to find such a perfect cottage and setting, especially for such a reasonable cost. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Couldn't ask for more and hope to be able to stay again in the future.

    Sharon2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect little cottage for a small family. It's the perfect distance to the waterfront-super easy walk. There's not a lot of traffic and it was super quiet. It's kid friendly and I only had to move a couple of things, to avoid toddler destruction. Instructions on how to run things like the thermostat, wifi, and clean up were clear, and easy to find. If you don't like doing your own dishes, there is no dishwasher, but otherwise has anything you could possibly want and then some. There's plenty of seating, the beds were comfortable, and you get a lot of bonus wildlife. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Patty!

  • Beautiful cottage right near downtown Coupeville. So cozy and quiet. We arrived to dear wandering just outside our porch. We enjoyed coffee on the back patio in the morning. The bed is so comfortable and the entire cottage is so warm and inviting. Rick was unbelievably kind and thoughtful. We were spending our wedding night there and he offered so many amazing little touches to really help us settle in and celebrate our special occasion. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to start our journey as husband and wife.

  • I came to Washington for an internship and decided to try AirBnB for the first time. Naturally, I was a little nervous but Mona exceeded all of my expectations. She was extremely caring and made sure I was doing okay from time to time. We had an open line of communication at all time in case I needed something. She also spent some time with me to show me around the area which was nice since I didn’t know anyone! Whether you’re staying for short term or an extended stay, I can not recommend Mona enough! She is a great host and will try her very best to take care of you!

    Long2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing, peaceful, unique and beautiful space! Mona is a lovely and engaging host and we enjoyed our time with her so much!! This space and experience will not disappoint!

    Danie2019-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Eagles View for almost 4 months while finding a permanent residence in the area. Mona has made Eagles View a cozy and welcoming space from the beginning of our adventure. Although she couldn't be home when we arrived (during a power outage), her wonderful neighbors stepped in to help out. From the time we reserved the space and throughout her absence, she was in communication with us to answer any questions. Any problems that arose were handled as promptly as possible. We also appreciated that she is an incredible resource of information about the area! Some of our favorite aspects of Mona's space: *The View! Since the home sets high above LaConner, we enjoyed Mt. Baker, the bridge, water activity and watching weather move through. *Well provisioned kitchen, laundry, bath, linens, and entertainment. *The extra storage space was very useful. *All the wildlife from eagles to deer to raccoons to a wide variety of birds gave us continual entertainment. *Wonderful neighbors and friendly community. *Martha's Beach was a favorite walk. *Comfy bed and quiet space! FYI: This property is cozy (about 600 sq ft) but is broken up well to give two people some space. Also, it is about three miles from LaConner and amenities- with some steep hills. Thank you, Mona for sharing your home and yourself. Eagles View was a great adventure!

    Jean2019-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Mona's place is great! It's clean, private, and has amazing views. It overlooks the Shelter Bay marina, the Rainbow bridge and downtown La Conner. It's close to Martha's beach and the neighboorhood is nice to walk around in. Mona is an outstanding host! She was always there when we needed her and gave us some local areas to check out that were breathtaking. I highly recommend staying here if you're making a trip to La Conner.

  • This place is great--walking distance to the historic town of Coupeville and a short drive to many great beaches and hiking in state parks. The house itself is so charming and comfortable. The kitchen is updated, but the rest of the house retains its original, charming details. Jan met us at check-in and left us with fresh eggs and thoughtful snacks. When we make it back to Whidbey Island, we would love to stay here again.

    Jenny2019-07-30T00:00:00Z

This 500 sq. ft. apartment is completely private with 2 entries, a full kitchen with gas range, and a full sized refrigerator. The bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower (I clean the jets after every visit!) is large and the living and dining are combined. Your views from the property are gorgeous!! and the deck shows off a bit of heaven on earth. You are welcome to use our washer and dryer. We live in the main house which your apartment is connected to. We are available any time.
We've seen whales off the bluff! There are views of the Salish Sea from every room in the house. Bald and Golden eagles fly back and forth right over your head. You have your own sitting area outside so you can enjoy the views of the Olympic Mountain range to the South, and Vancouver Island B.C. and the San Juan islands to the North. The whales come after the salmon and seals from May to September. We do provide a set of binoculars in your space. There are ferries to get you everywhere. You can rent kayaks just 10 minutes away in our quaint town of Coupeville. Eby park is 0.7 miles with gorgeous walking trails and beaches. You'll see the trails in our photos. We have two electric bikes we will rent, just ask. We charge $50 a day. There is a naval air base on the island and you will occasionally hear the jets but they were pretty high up. There are two grocery stores within 10 minutes and and little market called Three Sisters for the best ice cream, home made bread, and other wonderful goodies just 5 minutes away. There are incredible, wonderful restaurants very nearby and we've left information about them in your Airbnb and they are also here in our guidebook.. However, the kitchen is fully stocked if you prefer to eat in. I have spices and oils but you'll need to bring your own if you want anything out of the ordinary.
There are 18 homes on the bluff and a lavender farm across the street, literally! Eby Park is walkable for beach access or you can drive a very short distance.
  • Awesome place! Stunning views, you just couldn't ask for a better location! Peaceful, quiet, the clean air is divine. Super nice space the hosts have created for guests. Wish I could have stayed longer.

I especially liked the coffee, teas, and fruit and peanut butter spreads offered. The bed was amazing and she set up the pull out sofa too which was very comfortable! We felt very taken care of, and I haven't had such a good sleep in a long time. Can't recommend it enough.

  • Amazing location, the bedroom and sitting room windows have an uninterrupted view across the sea towards the Olympic Mountains. Very peaceful and relaxing weekend including hiking the Bluff trail, mussels for lunch in quaint Coupeville, a visit to Fort Casey and fantastic dinner in Oak Harbour. Susan's place is warm and cosy and has so many thoughtful details - we enjoyed the bottle of wine while sitting watching the sun set on the deck wrapped in the blankets provided (it was February).

  • I spent a weekend in a cozy, very quiet place with a wonderful kitchen. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable and clean. Wifi was excellent also. And the view! • Whidbey island is just 2 hours from Seattle, but feels like a million miles away. We came in for Musselfest and had a blast. You drive past farms and cows to get to John's lot where he lives with an adjacent adorable tiny home waiting just for you. Best described as a studio cabin, it is well built with all of the right touches. Nestled back into a wooded lot. Beautiful modern bathroom, just steps away down a lighted path. We enjoyed cozying up to the wood burning stove inside, and a firepit outside. My boyfriend was able to call in some owls. Magical. Only considerations would be relative lack of privacy (not all windows have curtains), but that did not bother us. Also no kitchen (which was fine, we were full on mussels). John was a friendly host, very responsive but not intrusive. Overall outstanding experience. Can't wait to come back.

  • This is a great place for a peaceful getaway- surrounded by nature and feels very private as you lookout on a patio with fire pit and canoes. We appreciated the closeness to coupeville as well as the feeling of being secluded. Wood burning stove added extra cozy factor, as well as the bathroom and “kitchen” being separate from the main bedroom adding a feeling of being at some sort of retreat or camp. Bed super comfy, lots of light and room to lounge. Will definitely be back!

    Leslie2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • John’s cabin retreat fulfilled all our wishes for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed the wood stove, radio and reading material to browse. The heated modern bathroom is steps away and the path is auto-lit by motion sensors. Note: there are curtains directly across from the bed but the rest of the windows are uncovered, which didn’t bother us too much due to the secluded setting. John provided some excellent suggestions for spending the rest of our Saturday afternoon, including stopping by historic Captain Whidbey’s for drinks before dinner. We highly recommend staying at John’s place.

  • John's place was a nice little oasis on the island. He was a friendly host and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The space was clean and cozy, and we especially liked the wood stove! We visited in winter/rainy season so we did not get to enjoy the fire pit, but during drier/warmer months, the patio would be really enjoyable.

    Sarah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a magical place of respite! For me, John's cabin provided an ideal writing retreat - good drafting table, plenty of light both natural & lamp, good heat whether by wood fireplace or space heater, electric kettle to keep a tea cup full, excellent library to draw inspiration from, comfy chairs in front of the fire, creative art everywhere I looked, owl hooting outside at dusk, woodpeckers drumming in the morning, wonderful nearby beach walks & delicious food options, a generous & hospitable host. The bathroom was sparkling clean & toasty warm, & I appreciated John's motion-detection lights to illuminate the (very short, ~25 steps) walk from the cabin. I could see the night stars from the bed & woke up to the sunrise. Yes, the Navy jets are loud on weekdays (as John warns guests upfront in his cabin description.) But what's far more telling, paging through the cabin guest book, is that every guest writes about how peaceful their stay was - how they're leaving so rested & relaxed. The magic of John's cabin supersedes all else.

From the organic mattress to the garden space outside your door, I hope to offer you a space you will feel comfortable that adds to your stay in Port Townsend. The queen size bed makes this perfect for two, but there is also a foldaway/daybed for a third person. Dogs: Please see "Other Things to Note" below. This private setting is walking distance to Fort Worden and North Beach, and just a little further walk or drive to Uptown and Downtown. City business license #012047.
My place is in a sunny part of town and I am continually enhancing my natural gardens to attract birds and other wildlife. As a naturalist my space is nature-centric and eco-friendly. Most of my materials and cleaning supplies are organic or natural, and I strive to keep it a fragrance-free space. There is wifi, but the space is TV-free. Please remove your shoes indoors to help keep it clean.
My house is in a quiet neighborhood, high on a hill that slopes down to Fort Worden State Park, with trails, beaches, bunkers and views of Puget Sound and the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Fort Worden hosts festivals, events, and concerts year-round, as well as yoga, the Marine Science Center, the PT School of Arts, restaurants, and more.
  • We loved our stay! This is in an ideal location - right up the street from the entrance to Fort Warden and walking distance from downtown. The space itself was spotless and filled with thoughtful touches. Vicki was incredibly kind to host us under exceptional circumstances and was available whenever we had a question. Would love to stay again and highly recommend!

  • Vicki has created such a warm and welcoming refuge... so clean, tastefully decorated and quietly peaceful. I join the ranks of previous travelers who raved about the oh-so-comfy bed... Wow! The thoughtful kitchenette is just right for simple meal prep/reheating and I could easily see how inviting it would be to step out the door into your own private little courtyard for morning sun when weather permits. Being within easy walking distance of Fort Worden State Park (433 acres of deep woods, fields and beach) is a bonus. Thank you, Vicki, for this delightful sanctuary.

  • Just spent a wonderful four days idling life away at the West Beach Retreat - beach combing galore, the non-stop rhythm of waves, a constantly changing sky and horizon, coupled with a superbly equipped facility made this a "home from home " experience for us as former residents of the PNW. Scott's communications through reservation, check-in and departure resulted in a zero stress experience. Really pleased we discovered this gem!

  • Very cozy and clean. Everything we might have forgotten was already there. The propane fireplace kept the place nice and warm- very nice to warm up to after having a french press on the oceanfront deck. A lot of the extras in the kitchen are organic and there is even nice stemware to drink the wine they kindly gifted. Lots of wildlife to watch right from the living space.

Welcome to our Sunset View retreat on Whidbey Island! We are just south of the historic town of Coupeville over-looking the Strait of San Juan De Fuca with views of the Olympics, shipping lanes, and beautiful sunsets!
Welcome to our cozy home on beautiful Whidbey Island. It is a perfect place for friends to get together or a romantic retreat. They like to wander up and down the street looking for a tasty treats! Inside the house you will find our fully stocked and equipped kitchen for preparing meals and a large BBQ grill right outside on the spacious deck. • This space and location were perfect for a short drive to Deception Pass. The house is exactly as photographed, with amazing views from the porch. Lois provides most everything you need. Would love to stay here again.

    Brande2020-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay. The view is absolutely beautiful from the back deck and the house has all the amenities. It was a good space for our one year old as well, he could play in the front yard, and the back deck. The house also has a nice open floor plan with a ton of light and the view is beautiful inside and out. The bedrooms are comfortable and have good curtains so they could be made dark anytime (helpful for naps). But most importantly Lois the host was fantastic, going above and beyond multiple times. Lois was probably the best host we have had in our Airbnb experiences. The house and property are extremely well cared for thanks to her. The only thing to note is that it is in the flight path of jets so if they are flying it’s loud, though they do post the schedule so you know ahead. Also the internet is reliable for entertainment but if you are working from that location it can be a bit spotty requiring a reset of the router. (This is a fact for all of Whidbey Island).

    Leidy2020-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • This house is the ideal Whidbey getaway. I doubt there is a better view anywhere on the island. The house was also very clean and cozy, I will definitely be back! Everything was as described and overall it was an amazing experience.

A 136 sq. ft. tiny house (cabin) on 6 acres along with the main house 1000 ft. to the north. Very private. Very yesterday. You may encounter a spot of dust on a rough cut post or notice the patina (chipped paint) on one of the 100 year old windows, (it's a cabin) however all food and personal hygiene areas are professionally cleaned. About the ladder to the loft, I'm 6'4", and pushing 70, I have no problem, if you have physical limitations, it may be something to think about.
Little hidden gems around the property add whimsy and an artistic touch. This cozy little home and everything around it has had time to grow and mature. It has a very authentic feel to it. This is a very animal friendly place. We have 4 dogs, 4 cats, 2 goats, a pet pig, free range chickens/ducks, a super sweet donkey, and several horses. That's our animal family. We do offer horseback riding for an additional fee. Please inquire with us directly for booking a ride. There are walking trails from the property, as well as many trails and parks on the island to visit and go hiking in.
Close to Puget Sound beaches and Fort Casey, this area is a great place to explore and relax. We are also located near our Navy's outlying air practice field. The jets very rarely fly, we here call it the sound of Freedom, on those rare occasions you may wish to drive over to watch the touch-N-goes.
  • Bob & Sue were incredibly welcoming to their house and very helpful setting us up. They definitely made sure we had the best time in their cabin. My wife and I loved the outdoors and the scenery around this area is simply unmatched.

    Amy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is absolutely charming. It's a perfect space for a couple to get away for a weekend. The cabin feels very secluded and there's a great pond with a space for a fire. Getting into the loft bed is definitely interesting, but is definitely fine if you don't move around too much when you sleep.

    Aslyn2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Really cute spot - great for a weekend getaway with yourself or some one else. Thoughtfully crafted space too. Had a really pleasant, “off the grid” kind of weekend.

Welcome to Quiet Space. Located on 5 acres on Camano Island there is plenty of quiet in the natural setting. Fruit trees, gardens, and rabbitry are tucked away on this natural wild life habitat area. Eagles and hummingbirds, deer and squirrels occasionally pop in and out of view. The distant sounds of coyote, frogs, and bird song seasonally add harmony to the natural ambiance. We welcome single adults and couples of all faiths, sexual orientations, and nationalities to our home.
Our space is free of tension with easy going energy. We have Quiet Hours 24 hours a day. Long term tenants work various shifts and there is a day sleeper, an evening sleeper and night sleepers. We are a quiet space not a silent space. Cooperation and communication create a stress free environment. A blend of old and new furnishings reflect our mentality of conservation and ecological responsibility. Influenced by the economic and social eras of the last 100 years, and looking into the future of global warming, we combine the 'use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without' with the 'save that... we may need it later' with the advantages of computers, cars, and modern appliances. Always mindful of our footprint on the planet, we intentionally share our space to lessen the impact of a large house on the environment.
There are two State Parks on Camano Island and both are 3 miles from the house. Camano Island State Park and Cama Beach State Park. Both have beaches, picnicking areas, and walking trails in wooded areas. In addition there are several hiking areas including Camano Ridge, Elger Bay Preserve, and Iverson Spit Preserve. A booklet of all of the hiking trails and parks will be in your room for use as you explore the area. Camaloch Golf Course is open year round for your golfing adventures. Like to zip line? Located in the center of downtown Coupeville, the apartment literally looms out over the water at high tide. You'll love sitting on the porch listening to the waves crash below you while you enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine. Inside, you'll find a sleeping nook with a grand queen sized bed and a queen sized hide-a-bed couch in the living room.
    - A PIECE OF HISTORY - The historic John Robertson building was built in 1866 and is newly renovated - finished in 2019! The building was originally a mercantile catering to the shipping merchants and farmers who originally settled the area around Central Whidbey Island. John Robertson was one of Coupeville's first entrepreneurs, owning six building on this block. This building is one of the earliest to be built on the street when it was completed in 1866. The building served as a restaurant for many years, from the famous Seagull Restaurant of the 1970's and, most recently, The Mad Crab. The entire building has been renovated to pay homage to the historic nature of the space while updating everything with modern amenities. - THE APARTMENT - The brand new apartment looms out over the water on the lower level of the building with a deck you can spend your days watching the boats come into the Coupeville wharf and your evenings watching the sunset. This apartment features a bedroom 'nook' with a queen size bed, a full bathroom, a queen sized pull-out couch in the living room, a well stocked kitchen, and a washer/dryer set. This is the perfect spot for a romantic vacation. Take your time getting up in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee on your deck. Walk upstairs and down the boardwalk 20 feet to the Little Red Hen restaurant for a hearty breakfast - don't forget a cinnamon roll! Wander the shops of Front Street, rent a kayak on the wharf, or explore the beach at low tide. In the evening, pop - next door - into Toby's Tavern for a pint of local beer and steamed mussels. You will feel spoiled by the proximity to town and the breathtaking views. No where else in town can you stay this close to the water! - LITTLE DETAILS - A digital key will be sent to your email the day before checking in and will be good for the length of your stay.
Coupeville holds a special place for our family. It's where we've been coming since the sixties to gather as an extended family. The Oystercatcher is famed for its remarkable food (we can attest!) and it's outstanding service. A new coffee shop, run by San Francisco ex-pats, will be opening Winter 2019/20 in the same building as the apartment.
  • You can't beat the views of Mt Baker over Penn Cove, and we loved watching seabirds and seals right off the porch while drinking our morning coffee. The place is sparkling clean, has a great location, and has plenty of room to relax. Bonus points for the "hidden" coded puzzle :)

This is most definitely a quiet, residential neighborhood. The residents and guests all tend to look out after one another so don’t feel shy about getting into conversations with them! So please keep noise, music and conversations to a normal level so everyone can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
  • Nancy has created a comfortable space with spacious rooms for a stay in Oak Harbor. It’s close to the bay and has a partial view. Tidy and clean with notes sprinkled throughout the apartment giving helpful hints. Welcomed with wine, chocolate and coffee. A very thoughtful hostess who is quick to replay to questions. Thank you, Nancy!

Guests will have expansive views of Saratoga passage, Camano Island, and Mount Baker. The yard is frequented by deer, bald eagles, herons, finches, hummingbirds, and gulls. There is a large selection of DVD's to watch on the 50" tv and Netflix/HULU/Amazon Prime access is also included. Room has a mini-fridge for your leftovers, a microwave to reheat them, and a Keurig for your coffee/tea. We include some complimentary coffee and oatmeal for breakfast. Bed is a full sized memory foam bed with high quality linen sheets.
We love the relaxing atmosphere and the wildlife. Deer, birds of all kinds, whales, porpoise, otters, seals and bunnies pay us regular visits.
  • This was an ideal place for a solo retreat. I just needed to get out of the city for a while and this place had a beautiful island setting and wonderful trappings for me. I had plenty of space for some yoga, meditation, video games and relaxing. The host was very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to coming back again in the fall.

  • Beautiful view, big windows, clean space, comfy bed, and friendly responsive hosts!

    Claire2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The view is exactly as shown. It's absolutely beautiful. Check-in is quick and easy. The space is clean and put together nicely. Even small touches that really added a personal touch. Eric & Mindy are kind and communicated promptly and effectively. There were high winds which caused power outages and they communicated this to us quickly and were open to discuss on how to proceed if it didn't come back on. It eventually did but by the time we got there it was off again. Eric & Mindy had a generator that we turned on later in the evening. Even with the power outage we had a great time and have nothing negative to say about our experience! We got to meet Lambchop and she's the sweetest.

    Derick2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The space is exactly as described and only minutes from Langley, where we spent most of our time.

We love our quiet country home so much that we decided to share the back separate part of our home for mature Airbnb travelers and their families. We have 1.7 Landscape acres where the Island deer and Eagles roam free. Make sure you look at all photos. We provide fresh hard boiled eggs (from our chickens), fresh fruit and other treats with plenty of good Camano Island coffee. We have generous weekly & monthly rates.
You will have over 800 sq. feet of total privacy, What separates the the host living area and the guest living area is a long hallway. The opposite end of the hallway is our own kitchen entry and living area. Each entry has its own different lock and key. You'll be provided a key for your entry which is separate from the host entry area. Your welcome to view all photo's to get an idea of the layout. Any questions please contact us.
Our neighbors are far away as we're surrounded by tall trees and a beautiful ocean view. Very peaceful and quiet.
  • Larry and Colleen were excellent hosts during our two week stay. The Airbnb is technically under the same roof as their home but separated from their living area by a passageway, a utility room and two doors, so you have plenty of space and privacy. It has everything you need for a short or longer stay including a small kitchenette with numerous appliances and a fridge/freezer (they also offered us additional space in their fridge if we needed it); a dining table to eat/work from, a sofa and TV. The bathroom is spacious and has a very nice shower, and the bedroom is separate from the rest of the airbnb with a really comfy bed. The cable and internet worked well, and we were always comfortable temperature-wise. Oak Harbor is a short drive away for your shopping/restaurant needs, and the local area is a nice place to walk around, with a small public beach just a short walk away. Larry and Colleen were very attentive and accommodating, saw to our every need, and even brought us fresh eggs laid by their chickens! The property is also very easy to navigate if you are towing a trailer, which is a huge plus for us. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to use this Airbnb again in the future.

    Cate2020-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was an exceptionally clean and spacious place for the 2 of us. The most comfy couch ever and biggest accessible shower ever! Farm fresh eggs are a lovely touch. Bring some dvds in case you want to watch a movie. The back bedroom is completely separate from the other bed in living space - quite nice for privacy, though there is a stair so not easily wheelchair accessible. Easy check in, the hosts are just lovely people. We truly enjoyed our stay.

  • Nice and quiet. Only a short drive to base. Slept great!

    Scott2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This a gem of a place. Views of the sound, great amenities, great hosts. Our gauge of a place is the kids. Their reaction to this place was outstanding and they wanted to stay another night. Colleen left us homemade cookies and there was milk and eggs in the fridge. Touches like that make a huge difference in the appreciation of a stay. Coffee was on hand too. Bathroom was large and modern. You can also tell things by talking to the hosts and Larry was great, called me immediately on a mistake I made in a booking. The location is a balance of quiet and proximity to oak harbor and then ferries and sites like Deception Pass. A great place.

    Jack2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to stay. Very quiet, clean, a d the host were very kind and thoughtful! We would definitely go back if ever in the area!

    Clint2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Larry and Colleen were simply amazing!! The place was incredibly clean, the bathroom was newly remodeled (the fart fan was placed in a super considerate place 😊), there were fresh eggs and water available to us, and Larry and Colleen were available for all of our needs. The home is remote enough to relax while also being close to everything we wanted to do. 11/10 would return!!

    Kelsi2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Woke up to deer outside saying good morning and were gifted hard boiled eggs from the chickens. Larry and Colleen are superb and gracious hosts. Their guest suite was private and had everything we needed with many thoughtful touches. It’s 10-15 mins from Oak Harbor, easy to get back to after dinner and a relaxing retreat on Whibey. Highly recommend.

My place is located on a small scale produce farm on the north end of Camano Island. Private suite in farmhouse with private entrance, private bathroom, deck and small kitchenette. Relax on the deck or explore the multiple parks on the island that offer walks in the forest or along the beach. About one mile away you will find delicious pastries, coffee, pizza and shops selling locally made goods. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Large master bedroom in farmhouse converted into suite with private entrance and deck. Room has lots of natural light and high ceilings. The kitchen area has a table with stools, microwave, hot plate, toaster, mini refrigerator and coffee maker, but does not have an oven. There is a queen size bed and a loveseat couch. Private bathroom with shower, no bathtub. Views of small-scale produce farm from studio and deck. While not certified, all produce is grown using organic principles.
Located in a rural area. There is a grocery store about one mile away, as well as a handful of restaurants and a brewery. Also located near a community center, state parks, beaches, bakery, coffee stands, a zip line, shops with locally created goods and a library.
  • The apartment was fantastic. The bed was firm with a nice topper. The pillows were not too hard or soft. The kitchen had everything, plates, silverware, and cleaning supplies. The shower was very clean and nice. Rachel was super nice and very responsive. I will be staying there again.

    Steve2020-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice and quiet place to stay.

    Mike2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable and peaceful, easy access to Camano and Stanwood spots, and everything was clean and well-maintained!

    Anne2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. We did not meet Rachel, but she made sure we had everything we needed during our 3-night stay. She provided oatmeal and bananas, plus butter in the mini-fridge for our use. We prefer a softer bed than most, so we found the mattress to be quite firm, but it was good quality with extra pillows, plus there was a spare fuzzy blanket in the closet. We had a great time exploring the island, and discovered that the Rachel's location was ideally placed for stopping by in the afternoon for a quick nap, snack, or restroom break on our way to the next adventure.

    Tiffany2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel's place was bright and sunny and a great spot to explore Camano Island from. We really enjoyed the garden tour she gave us!

    Kevin2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Even in winter, Rachel's farm is an inspiration to farm to table living. Beautiful farm, great space adorned with fun artwork, comfy bed and SO QUIET!
