Sehenswürdigkeiten Die Hohe Eule (Wielka Sowa) (1015 m) ist die höchste Gipfel im Eulengebirge. Hier auf dem Gipfel steht ein 25 m hoher Aussichtsturm (frühere Bezeichnung Bismarckturm). Der Turm wurde inzwischen aufwändig renoviert und ist zumindest in den Sommermonaten ganztägig zugänglich. Vom Turm aus hat man einen umfassenden Blick über die schlesische Ebene und die umliegenden Gebirge, bei gutem Wetter blickt man bis zur Schneekoppe. Die zum Turm führenden Wege sind alle als Wanderwege markiert, der kürzeste Zugang führt vom Falkenberger Pass zum Turm. Die Festung Silberberg (Srebrna Gora)ist eine der größten Festungsbauten in Europa. Sie wurde nach dem Ende der schlesischen Kriege durch Friedrich dem Großen erbaut und war eines seinerLieblingsprojekte. Als Festung wurde sie im Jahre 1866 aufgegeben, sie diente dann unter anderem als Probeobjekt für die preußische Artillerie. Später wurde sie umfangreich touristisch bewirtschaftet, in einem der Festungsteile wurde die größte Jugendherberge Deutschlands errichtet. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg verfiel die Festung, inzwischen laufen Instandsetzungsarbeiten. Ein Besuch ist unbedingt lohnend, bei gutem Wetter hat man bei dem Rundgang über die Wälle eine umfassende Rundsicht. Das Projekt Riese wurde in den letzten Kriegsjahren des Zweiten Weltkriegs gestartet. In die Berge des Eulengebirges wurden mit Riesenaufwand Stollen getrieben und unterirdischer Hallen gebaut. Viele der hier beschäftigten Häftlinge ließen hier ihr Leben, um die eigentliche Bestimmung der Anlage ranken sich viele Legenden (Bernsteinzimmer, Breslauer Gold etc.). Heute gibt es drei Zugangspunkte zu der riesigen Anlage, allerdings gibt es keine freigelegte unterirdische Verbindung zwischen diesen drei Zugangspunkten. Das Bergwerksmuseum in Neurode (Nowa Ruda) ist auch eine zum Teil unterirdische Anlage ganz anderer Art. Sie erinnert an die vielhundertjährige Geschichte des Eulengebirges welche mit der Erzgewinnung und vor allem mit dem Kohlebergau verbunden war. Ein Besuch ist unbedingt lohnenswert, vor allem für Familien mit Kindern. Man gewinnt hier einen Eindruck unter welchen zum Teil unvorstellbar schweren Bedingungen die Leute früher in den Bergwerken gearbeitet haben. Die Kynsburg (Zamek Grodno)liegt in malerischer imposanter Lage über den Wassern der Schlesiertalsperre (Jezioro Lubachowskie). Die Burg war einmal eine der größten Anlagen in Schlesien, ab dem 18. Jahrhundert war sie teilweise nicht mehr bewohnt und verfiel. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde sie nach und nach für touristische Zwecke hergerichtet, zahlreiche Legenden ranken sich um die Burg. Der Aufstieg zur Burg ist leicht von dem Ortszentrum von Kynau (Zagorze Slaskie) auss möglich. Die Schlesiertalsperre (Zapora Lubachow) wurde im Jahre 1917 vollendet, sie entstand durch das Aufstauen der Schweidnitzer Weistritz (Bystrzyca Swidnicka). Bei ihrem Bau mussten eine Anzahl Häuser die im Tal lagen aufgegeben werden. Das Wasser der Talsperre wird zur Stromerzeugung in einem weiter unten liegenden Elektrizitätswerk genutzt, dieses Kraftwerk ist bis heute im Originalzustand erhalten. Lohnend ist eine Runfahrt um den Stausee(URL HIDDEN)dabei sollte man auch der imposanten Staumauer einen Besuch abstatten.
