Bright and airy double bedroom with en suite in a quiet location. Separated from main cottage with own entrance. Work space and wifi. Own kitchen in conservatory with kettle, toaster, microwave, single radiant hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tea and coffee plus breakfast supplies for first night of stay. Parking. Use of small garden. Guests with long wheelbase vehicles or horse boxes should park at the entrance to Castle Farm Close, on the left as the space nearer the house is only large enough for a car or ordinary transit van.
Stewarton is a small friendly town with excellent amenities for all. Good local restaurants/cafes and takeaways. Two supermarkets. Two chemists and doctors surgery. Several local boutique shops and sports centre. Railway station is a 2 minute walk away with regular trains to Glasgow and Kilmarnock. Various local walks and cycle routes.

Everything exceptionally clean and cosy situated in a beautiful, quiet village area with incredibly helpful and pleasant host, close to train station and shops etc. What we loved especially was all the extra touches such as maps of the area, tourist type information, books for walking routes and everything you need in the property (as is in description) which we felt was some nice little extras compared to other air bnb’s we have visited.   • Liz was a fantastic host with a brilliant place to stay. It’s cute and tucked away off any main roads and has a cute garden outside for a nice view. The rooms look bigger than in the photos! The bed and shower are huge! Was so lovely to have tea and biscuits and all different breakfast options for the morning after as well. The place is a couple minutes walk from the train station if you are using public transport. Would recommend to anyone !

We would have missed so much taking the motorway! The house is beautiful, cosy and very well styled. It has all the amenities you may need and more.     Built 3 years ago the apartment is wheelchair accessible throughout, with all mod cons including wet floor shower room. Views from the property are tranquil which reflects the peacefulness of our semi-rural neighbourhood We are only 1 minute off the Glasgow Southern orbital and 5 mins from the M77. You can get to Stranraer in 90 minutes and Edinburgh or Stirling in less than an hour. Eaglesham is a beautiful village and is served by a frequent bus service direct to Glasgow city centre.
    Guests are welcome to use all rooms in our self- contained apartment and may also enjoy our garden. There is a river at the bottom of the garden and we have the fishing rights so why not bring a fishing rod... There is wheelchair access to the garden and all paths are wheelchair friendly.

    The studio is situated in a very quite area bordering between Clarkston and Busby . Busby train station is 5 minutes walk away and runs straight into the heart of Glasgow . By road there is easy access to M77 and M74 . We offer a self check in if required but are happy to meet and show you into our studio situated In our lovely garden .
    Clarkston town is 10 minutes away with several good places to eat and drink. Just 5 minutes away is our local post office, baker, pet shop /vets, general groceries, Pharmacy, Chinese takeaway,fish and chip shop , licensed off license.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Garden Studio. Clarkston is a beautiful area with some lovely shops and friendly residents. The studio itself was incredibly peaceful and immaculately presented, the cleanest AirBnB I have ever visited! It looks out onto a beautiful garden, was warm, with a cosy bed and all you could want for a flying visit. Steve, the host, was exceptionally kind and allowed me to check out at a time that suited me, which was much appreciated since I had an awkwardly-timed teleconference to attend. I booked on short notice due to cancelled travel plans, and I couldn’t have been happier with the accommodation, it was just what I needed. It allowed me some respite from the world for a couple of days. All in all, the perfect place to stay for a trip to Glasgow, with everything you could need on your doorstep and very kind and accommodating hosts. I look forward to returning in the near future!

  • Steve and his wife have created the perfect garden hideaway! We were greeted by Steve on a raining spring evening and were thrilled to see that he already had the fire going :) We woke up each day to the sunlight lighting up our room. This is a beautiful and clean space which feels comfortable and private. We were here to see a gig in Glasgow (a 20min train ride away) but then spent the following 2 nights locally in Clarkston where we ate at Ian Brown Food and Michaelangelo's. Both are thoroughly recommended.

  • We loved our two-night stay in this super-cute, cosy, comfortable and private garden cottage. It is equipped with a little fridge with fresh milk, and there was plenty of tea and coffee. Just lying in the very comfortable bed with a view of the garden whilst watching tv, with the log burner on was a treat. The shower is fantastic and is complete with quality Scottish toiletries.   • This was my second stay at Gary and Maria’s beautiful annex, and certainly won’t be my last. It was incredibly clean, peaceful and comfortable, set in a friendly and quiet neighbourhood in the lovely village of Eaglesham. The annex looks out onto beautiful scenery and has a sizable living/ dining area, bathroom with an amazing shower and an extremely comfortable bedroom where I slept so soundly. The suite is the perfect setting to relax and have some quiet time away from the world. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, which was very much appreciated as I visited the annex at a time when other travel plans had been cancelled due to Covid-19. I was grateful to Gary and Maria for welcoming me so warmly to their home when everything else seems so uncertain. Their kindness and hospitality did not go unnoticed and I very much look forward to returning in the near future. I would highly recommend the Hillview Suite to anyone visiting the Glasgow area!

  • The rental is well located if you have a car and perhaps less convenient if you rely on public transport - but doable as it is very close to the main Glasgow bus route. We were staying for a week of events in Paisley, Glasgow and Hamilton and this was a perfect base as it is near the main roads. This is a hotel suite style rental and is well equipped with towels, bedding, small counter-top fridge and kettle (no kitchen facilities) - also some crockery to use if you bring food in. Gary & Maria are lovely thoughtful hosts who respond quickly with useful information and thoughtful touches. We were there during a heat wave and they made sure we had seats on the decking outside so we could enjoy the weather! There are well stocked shops and some take-away/pub/cafe in walking distance. Excellent value and very comfortable, would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

    Indulge the senses in the light and airy vibe of this converted space. The home features an open-plan layout, chic furnishings and decor, neutral earth tones, wood flooring throughout, and countryside views.
    The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside
    The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town.
  • One of my favourite Airbnb stays so far. Emma is a fantastic host with great communication and has created a home away from home in the Coach house. Just a short drive from Glasgow central and major motorways the location was perfect and great to escape to the peace and quiet of the country side after being in the city. Everything has been carefully thought through to ensure your comfort and ease of living during your stay. I’d definitely stay there again.

  • Our stay was very positive and lovely. It was super easy to get into Glasgow by the 31 bus from Carmunnock. Everything was easy to use and we felt at home in the place. Emma gave us a lot of privacy which was nice, but was also there to help if anything went wrong. I would recommend this stay for anyone who wants a quiet weekend away or a comfortable stay somewhere for business or leisure :)

    Comfortable 2 bed ground floor flat (4 in block) in residential area with its own garden, 6 miles from City Centre. Free street parking and fast WiFi. Only 3 minutes drive from main motorway slip roads for all directions ,(City Centre 12 mins drive ). Public transport 3 minute walk for regular buses to Glasgow (takes 35 mins). Daytime local bus for nearby shopping. Please note! limited facilities in walking distance. Car not absolutely essential but will give you much better experience
    This lovely airy flat with own front door & garden, is just on the outskirts of Glasgow 3 miles from beautiful open countryside, yet only 6.2 miles to city centre which is an approx 12 min drive (normal traffic) and sits conveniently only a 3 min drive to major slip roads to all Major motorway connections . E.G Glasgow 12 mins, Edinburgh 45 mins, Ayrshire 40 mins, Stirling 40 mins, Loch Lomond & Trossachs 35/45 mins. A car would be preferable as the flat it is in a suburban area with only a few amenities in walking distance (and as we make this very clear..please do not book and then mark us down for location), however there are regular buses just a 3 minute walk from flat to and from Glasgow & daytime bus to local shopping centre. With a car, it is perfectly situated for getting around and there is one of the largest Shopping Malls in Scotland just an 5 min drive away, plus smaller supermarkets and several restaurants just under 1 mile away, Also lots of shopping, restaurants and busy nightlife in nearby Shawlands (2.5 miles drive and approx £5 in a taxi) Pollok park, which houses the world famous Burrell Collection is only a few miles away (approx 10 min drive).You will also see real live Highland Cows in the park!
    The flat is is a unique position with beautiful open countryside just 2 miles away, but ideally located for quick access into Glasgow City Centre. There are limited facilities within walking distance & the nearest supermarket is 0.7 miles away so we would recommend car hire to get the best from your visit, however there is a beautiful award winning park with an amazing play area for kids, free outdoor gym equipment, 2 eateries (one overlooking a lovely pond) and a Public Golf course a 10 minute walk away and there is a regular bus service into Glasgow & local shopping centre. Newton Mearns , a wealthy suburb of Glasgow is just 1.5 miles up the road and has a small shopping complex with 2/3 supermarkets and now also has 3 restuarants to choose from. Just 2.5 miles away from the flat in Shawlands (about £5 taxi) you will find many bars and restaurants to choose from as well as 2 nightclubs..or you could just go an extra 3 miles into Glasgow City Centre to enjoy its cosmopolitan shopping and extensive nightlife.

Communication went very smoothly and I had no problem finding this place. She even left new cereals and milk in the fridge for us to eat. The area is very quiet and safe.   • Loved staying in this stylish flat. I got married locally (originally being from London), and had half of my groom-party staying there. The flat itself is a good size, very clean and really well laid out. It was a very comfortable and cosy place to be especially amongst a few hectic days. The kitchen was in great condition and had everything we needed for 4 people. Having access to Glasgow Central within 10-15min was a dream and made move around incredibly easy. Linda was fantastic for our whole stay and was even on hand when the dishwasher sprung a leak into the shop below. I would highly recommend the flat for family of 4, or a group of friends. Would definitely use it again if a group of us were ever in Glasgow!

    We're a small family with a big house and warm welcome for all guests. Stay with us in our spacious, bright, stylishly-refurbished sandstone villa. Close to motorways and trains. Explore Scotland's cities, coast and Highlands from our comfortable home. There's plenty to do closer by too. Guests get their own private ground-floor room, with en suite bathroom and dressing-room. A simple breakfast is offered. There are two cats in the house.
    A large refurbished blonde sandstone villa just five mins walk from Rouken Glen park with easy access to all the amenities of Giffnock, Glasgow and beyond. Our house is on a private road set well back from the street. The Auldhouse Burn runs through the woods in front and High Park is directly behind. Staring out the large windows, surrounded by trees and not overlooked, it can feel like you're miles away from everything even though we're not. The large double bedroom has a king size bed and is spacious, airy and bright with high ceilings. The dressing room leads through to a modern en suite bathroom. We respectfully ask guests not to wear outdoor shoes inside our home, particularly in carpeted parts of the house so please always remove shoes in the bedroom. Whilst our private road distances us from the street and makes the house feel nicely removed and is on our property, some neighbours have right of way to access their own homes. So please do not park or block this road and always use our driveway.
    Thornliebank was shaped by the growth of the Calico Printworks in the 1800's. Our library, cooperative stores and some local housing were created for its workers and the dam at Spiersbridge and the Auldhouse Burn can still be seen. The nearest stores, banks etc. are all within walking distance in Thornliebank. There are more amenities in Giffnock, including good restaurants and cafes. The stunning Rouken Glen Park is within five mins walk and was voted best park in the UK by the public in the 2016 Fields in Trusts awards. The Auldhouse Burn can be traced back to a waterfall at the top of the park by the Boathouse lake. The park is a protected Site of Special Scientific Interest thanks to its fascinating geology. Pollock Country Park is also stunning and within 5 mins drive. The Burrell Collection will reopen in 2020.

    Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a pub, a community cafe(open for lunch on Thursdays, Fridays and 1st Saturday of the month), a newsagent, post office/ shop. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.
    Compact. neat living room and kitchen downstairs. Bedroom and shower room upstairs. Good and bright daylight south facing.
    A beautiful country village with properties dating back to the 1700's.

  • David and Fiona's cottage is lovely, we stayed there for three nights. It is as beautiful as on the pictures. Dunlop is a fairly small and quiet village, but it's only half an hour by train to Glasgow. We also visited Loch Lomond which is slightly over one hour by car. David and Fiona are great hosts. We definitely recommend staying there.

    Spacious flat which has been upgraded to include a new shower room and kitchen floor. There are 2 major parks within walking distance. 10min will get you into the city on public transport which is available 1 min walk from the flat. 15 mins walk to Hampden and a bus ride from Bellahouston. Couple of gyms within walking distance that do day passes if you fancy keeping up with your cardio and keep fit!! Please note this room is not an office space.
    Use of the whole apartment. However as this is my home I would appreciate you treating it as you would your own. Newlands is a residential area in the south side of Glasgow. Within a 5 minute walk you will find many restaurants and bars, and also many shops (such as Superdrug, Boots, etc). There is also a large supermarket open until 10pm just minutes walk from the property. You are within 1 minute walk of public transport, and a very reliable bus and train service. Bus no 3 from city centre (Union Street outside Central Station) and Train to Cathcart or Newton (get off at Pollokshaws East or Langside) and my Road is just 1 minute walk from either. Plenty of the city sites within 10 minute walk of the flat. Pollok Park, which is a 15 minute walk is a gorgeous country park where Many films have been shot (including Outlander). St Mungo's and The Necropolis are 12 minutes by taxi and the airport is just 15 minutes away.
    Very affluent area with transport links to city centre just 1 minute away. 12 minutes from centre of Glasgow Airport 15 minutes via taxi and the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital just 6km from the flat. Pollok Park is a 15 minute walk from the flat and it's possibly my favourite park. Minutes from trains and buses, which take you throughout the city within minutes. Hampden Stadium 15 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi drive. Also a 2 minute walk to the supermarket and a 5 minute walk to a vibrant array of shops, bars and eateries.

    Large spacious bright garden room containing double bed, desk/ workspace and a couple of comfortable chairs with wall mounted television, Virgin high speed wifi available. Room is quiet as at the back of the house and can be accessed by own entrance through patio doors from the decking. Private bathroom with power shower and also own fridge, microwave and kettle. Easy on street parking outside the house.
    Access is available through the house which is on the level or alternatively through the garden which has approx five steps, three down and two up ! The room does have plenty of space, and includes a proper desk with orthopaedic chair ideal for working from, a separate seating area, access to decking (when the sun shines) and we also have a travel cot available and also if you do wish to bring a child with you an air bed can be provided.
    The house is located in the Newton Mearns suburb of Glasgow. The local area is well catered for with supermarkets (M&S Food, Asda, Co-op), restaurants and takeaways all within a ten minute walk. Local public transport gives easy access to Glasgow with its theatres, concert venues, museums and restaurants and further to the North the scenic beauty of Loch Lomond is 40 minutes by car. Just to the south is Burns Country and the seaside towns of Troon, Prestwick and Ayr and some of the best golf courses in the country.

    My cute little cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and dogs. It is a fresh space adjoining my farmhouse but is completely separate with its own front door.
    Little Dodside is a cute little space adjoining my 255 year old farmhouse in a great setting on the edge of the town but with a lovely country feel. We have horses, chickens and dogs so lots to see and we have fresh eggs every day. Your space is completely separate with its own front door, parking and front courtyard. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we request that dogs are not left alone in the property unless crate trained. I have a crate available to borrow) We love having guests and are very excited to welcome you. PS I also have another space at the farm listed on Airbnb called The Smiddy. It’s very cute and has similar accommodation. Definitely worth a look if you can’t find availability here or are a bigger party.
    Little Dodside is a piece of country 2 minutes from the town. Idyllic peace and quiet.

  • I had a business trip for a few days, so I wanted to try Helmi’s place as my partner and dog joined me and may do so again in the future and it worked out great for us! The WiFi was great, amenities great, Helmi and her family were really friendly and chilled. We managed fine bobbing in and out of Glasgow, Edinburgh, East Kilbride and Newton Mearns from the cottage and it was lovely to have a quiet space in the evenings together... My partner got out walking the dog in the surrounding countryside, the only down side for me was I didn’t get to join them as I was working! We’d happily stay again, and I’d feel safe if I was to stay there on my own, or need to take my dog on my own too.

  • I am really happy with my stay at Shgufta's :)-- very respectful, generous and cheerful family to live with! The neighborhood of the house is peaceful and secure, well-connected to city center by bus/train. Plus a big Aldi is just within 10min walk. The house is nice and cozy, with cleaner comes every week for general cleaning. My room is upstairs which gives lots of privacy, also very spacious and with everything I need. A heater is provided as well. I would love to recommend her place if you come to Glasgow!

There is a Tesco and chip shop within a couple minutes walk to buy the essentials and the chippy didn't disappoint. People are very friendly. Queens park is a ten minute walk with free green house to explore. And linn park a 15 minute walk if you enjoy tranquility as it has a lovely waterfall and deers in the park as well as horses. Very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend here :)

Communication with Mariusz & Wendy is clear, professional and friendly - we were greeted by their son who was a delight and showed us around the flat! The flat itself is just as depicted - the living and sleeping spaces are actually much bigger than you would imagine! Mariusz very kindly provided us with breakfast items and juice, and the bathroom is complete with an abundance of towels, toiletries and a very powerful shower. The surrounding area is very safe and easy to navigate on foot and by bus - I would highly recommend a stay and look forward to visiting again!

    Peel Lodge is a unique, interesting property. The original part is grade B listed and was built in the 18th-century as the gatehouse to The Peel, a fortified residence which dates back to 1642. It is a 6 sided stone building with a chimney breast along the centre, this creates a partition which separates the kitchen on one side and an open fire in the lounge/dining area. The building has been extended to create two bedrooms a bathroom with shower over bath and a utility room which houses the boiler, washing machine/drier and freezer as well as plenty of room to store bikes and outdoor equipment. The finishes are natural, from the wooden flooring to the natural stone fireplace reaching up to the vaulted ceiling and exposed wooden roof trusses. It has been fully restored to a high standard, double glazed, centrally heated with a modern kitchen and appliances. The property has been decorated and furnished by a professional interior design company. The back garden is totally private it has an enclosed fenced area useful for dogs with outdoor furniture and a barbeque as well a larger grassed area surrounded by high hedges. All on the ground floor. Living/dining room: With open fire, Freeview TV, DVD player, CD player, MP3 connection and wooden floor. Kitchen: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and wooden floor. Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and Freeview TV Bedroom 2: With zip and link twin beds (can be super kingsize on request) and Freeview TV. Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.     Peel Lodge is situated in a rural area with other homes nearby, it is close to a main road with only a 20 min journey to Glasgow city centre which has superb shopping, museums, gardens, art galleries, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. There are 3 Bar/Restaurants in Busby which is 1 mile away. The nearest town, 3 miles is East Kilbride it has many supermarkets, a large indoor shopping centre with restaurants and a cinema. There are many parks and activities within a short distance of the property.

  • Peel lodge is a gem. Its bigger inside than I expected from the pictures, and is both comfortable and stylish. It sits just outside of town, surrounded by fields. The only downside is that the roads nearby can be noisy at times, but that is a small price to pay for the idyllic setting. A great location, being only 20 minutes into Glasgow, and numerous other beautiful places to visit. Was an ideal base for us to explore the western side of scotland. I can't think of any good reasons why you'd spend more money on a hotel room, rather than staying at Peel lodge, its a bargain. Bruce is a great host, quick to answer any questions, but also gives you complete privacy during your stay. First class.

    Eaglesham was designated Scotland’s first outstanding conservation area in 1960. The Rookery is a self contained one bedroom flat in the heart of Eaglesham. Shops, pub and restaurants are within walking distance.     A 3-bedroom flat in Pollokshaws, the Southside of Glasgow. Public transport to the city centre: a 7 minute walk to Pollokshaws West train station then gets you to Glasgow Central Station in 10 minutes; with bus stops nearby which go central and to the West End. It is next to Pollok Park, Glasgow’s largest park which has Highland Cows, deer, walking and bike trails and a cafe. It is also nearby to Hampden Park Stadium, a 10 minute drive or 30 minutes by public transport.
    Your room is a double room with drawers and a hanging rail for clothes, and two seats by the window. There are two other rooms, one is mine and the other is occasionally occupied by other guests (I will let you know if this is the case). You are free to use the shared spaces as much as you like: kitchen, living room, bathroom. There is space for food in the kitchen, and I provide some tea/coffee and breakfast things which you can help yourself to. There is a TV in the living room which you can use as well as lots of board games. The flat is within walking distance to many parks, and a train ride away to lots of hill walks or nature trails. It is also easy to travel into the city centre for shopping or eating, and is close to Shawlands, where there are many cafes/restaurants and bars.
    There are several parks nearby the flat, as well as supermarkets. There is a large shopping centre around 10-15 minutes by car or bus. And the train station Pollokshaws West is less than 10 minute walk away, this takes you to Central Station where you can get connecting trains to places by Loch Lomond or to ferry ports if you want to visit some Scottish islands.
  • We had a fantastic stay in Jenny's home! The flat is stylish, very clean and has all the amenities and toiletries you'll need for a short stay. We were made to feel so welcome from the second we arrived, and Jenny was quick to reply to any questions we had. She gave us some brilliant recommendations, and we really appreciated how much thought and effort she put into our stay. The flat is a great distance from Pollok Park, local shops/bars etc and an easy bus or train to Glasgow City Centre. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here when you visit Glasgow!

    Virtually self contained basement flat in a beautiful 1880 Alexander Greek Thomson style townhouse. There's a double bedroom, sitting room with double futon, shower room and shared access to kitchenette/utility room. Cosy and practical space in a family house full of character, conveniently located in Glasgow's Southside. Families welcome.
    The flat is a cosy wee space where you can sleep, eat and relax, in the basement of our 3 storey townhouse. It could sleep two couples and families with children are also very welcome. We can provide a travel cot or toddler ready bed on request, and we have loads of toys we can lend you to keep the kids occupied.
    Our house is on Millbrae Crescent, an architectural conservation area associated with Glasgow's most famous architect Alexander "Greek" Thomson. See (URL HIDDEN) for more info. It's a lovely quiet street by the River Cart, but it's also a short walk into Shawlands or Battlefield where there are plenty of buzzing cafes, pubs and restaurants. Queens Park which has great views and loads of activities for children is just at the top of the hill. Also within walking distance are Pollok Country Park where the Burrell Collection of arts and antiquities is situated, and Hamden Park, Scotland's national stadium. Tramway, the acclaimed art and performance space where Scottish Ballet are based, and the Citizen's Theatre are nearby as well.

    Our traditional one bedroom apartment is situated in Glasgow's Southside, within easy walking distance to Hampden Park . Free parking, great transport links and close to lots of amenities. The apartment includes lounge, double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom and has been refurbished in 2017. Within one minutes walk you can reach Cathcart station which is 12 minutes by train to the city centre. You will have the whole apartment to yourself, to relax, enjoy and explore our fun neighbourhood.
    Its just a great little flat. We have restored the space sympathetically (the building itself is 150 years old) and make sure that it is always clean and comfortable for our guests.
    Close by you will find pubs. shops, parks, restaurants, very regular transport and ample free parking. The River Cart is right outside our front door, and is great for walks. Shawlands Cross is a ten minute walk and has loads of shops, bars and restaurants.

Our detached 1-bed house is suitable for couples, families, singles and friends. Keen golfers have several top courses locally to choose from.
    A lovely, detached 1-bedroom house sleeping up to 4 people. The king size bed can be split to make a twin room and there is additional sleeping in the living room (double sofa bed) for other adults or children if required. A travel cot is also available for infants upon request (free of charge with appropriate bedding; you've got enough to worry about!). The bedroom has a substantial electric heater for the winter nights. The kitchen comprises oven, hob, washing machine, fridge, microwave plus all appropriate kitchenware for self catering. The living room has a beautiful wood burning stove as a centre piece and will keep you cozy in the cooler nights. Complete with TV/DVD, although we recommend playing games and cards together (provided). The 3-piece bathroom includes electric shower, toilet and sink. The house has patio doors at the back leading to a decked area. There is a seating area here too. The use of a BBQ can also be made available with advance notice.
    We are 2 miles from the main town of Newton Mearns in a beautiful spot with fantastic views. We have no immediate neighbours and enjoy our local wildlife, particularly the horses across the road. There are tremendous golf courses ranging from 1 mile away (East Renfrewshire Golf Club) to across Glasgow and the west.
  • What a lovely place time, highly recommended, its so peaceful with lovely surrounding countryside, yet within driving distance to all the local amenities. I especially enjoyed the log burner - it was very cosy. Just to mention, the driveway is a little damaged by adverse weather at the front so extra care needs to be taken when driving into the driveway as it did chip my car at the front when driving in. Colin did say he was going to fix it so it may not be in an issue in the future.

  • Look out for the pink painted telegraph pole and you will know you have arrived. There is a log burner to heat the main room and the lighting instructions are spot on for getting the room warm and toasty. In the bedroom there is an electric thermostatic heater so you will always be warm here. The kitchen is fully equipped but there is the option to eat in the town, which is located about 2 miles away, there's also a large supermarket so you can get all the food and logs you need for your stay.

    The flat is a self contained one bedroom flat with a large living room, fully functional kitchen with breakfast bar, large double bedroom, and bathroom with walk in shower. The flat has its own private entrance via 2 patio doors.
    Glasgow is a green city with loads of parks and green spaces. Our neighbourhood is a 15 minute walk from Queens park and a 10 min drive from Pollok Park. There are so many fantastic food options! There is a brilliant bakery 5 mins walk away open on the weekends for fresh pastries, and a danish cafe open for breakfast just a few minutes walk away. Shawlands and Battlefield both have a huge list of great coffee shops and brunch spots which we will leave you detailed info about. For lunch and dinner, again there are loads of amazing options - you'll be spoiled for choice. The location is great, with easy access to trains and buses you can be in the city centre in 12 minutes or the west end in 40 directly by bus. We are also incredibly close to Hampden stadium so ideally located for concerts and football events such as the Euro's. It is however a lovely quiet, leafy neighbourhood to retreat back to after a day of wandering round Glasgow's many attractions and eateries

  • We had a lovely stay in Samantha's place, it was very clean and homely and so handy for visiting family. Samantha and her husband were very hospitable and I look forward to using this location as a base again when we return to Glasgow!

  • Lovely place to stay, very quiet and spotlessly clean. Good sized rooms and very well equipped. Was a pleasure to have fresh milk, bread and other essentials on arrival. Very close to train station and local shops. All round a great place that I hope to be able to visit again.

  • We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb flats and Samantha’s place rates with the best. Comfortable and warm. Modern well equipped kitchen. Comfortable and well furnished lounge. Large bedroom with lots of wardrobe space. Very relaxing. A very nice flat in a great location. Only a few pounds in a taxi to centre of Glasgow and train station close by. Samantha was very helpful and went out of her way to accommodate us. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

  • Excellent home from home place, lovely and comfortable. So clean and fresh. Great kitchen. Lovely hot shower. Lots of space. Great off street parking. Safe area. N.B. Train line at the back of the house but didn't bother us as didn't seem a major line or very loud.
