Opportunities to use the house's pool for a swim or two (the pool is closed during October-mid-May) Private patio with barbecue grill, dining table and sun loungers Proximity to wonderful recreational areas and hiking trails in this historic village. We live in the house next door and can help with both questions and tips

House on the Farm

Here you can experience the silence and take a break from life. Close to nature and swimming. In the house, there is an electric sauna and access to a spa bath outside. At our own lake, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna and swimming in the lake, why not a trip on the lake with the raft in silence. Access to 2 bicycles is available, for a ride in the surroundings. No smoking indoors in the entire property, smoking outdoors allowed. In winter, we charge a fee of SEK 200 for ice hole making if guests wish to swim in the winter

"Forest star" by forest/community

This unique place is located next to the edge of the forest but still close to shops and good public transportation, decorated with care and thoughtfulness. Enjoy the warm sauna with views over the forest, cool off outside on the large front porch surrounded by the peace and quiet of the forest. Who knows, maybe a deer or other wild animal will peek out between the trunks of the trees. Then fall asleep well surrounded by a calm and pleasant atmosphere, wake up alert, rested and curious about the new day's discoveries

You will be close to everything when you stay in this centrally-located accommodation. 10-minute walk from the central station or to nice hiking trails in beautiful Swedish nature. With Hallsberg as a starting point, you can quickly reach central Sweden and local attractions such as Örebro, Tiveden, Vättern, Tisaren, the city and nature. 2-3 hours to Stockholm and Gothenburg - also works well by train. Great place to stay if you are going to work in the region - then suitable for two or possibly three people.

Newly renovated villa in Kumla

Bring the whole family to this amazing newly renovated villa consisting of five bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a toilet, fully equipped kitchen and a large living room. On the front there is a large parking lot and on the back there are benches and tables with a small patio. Please note that the property is rented without bed linens and towels. There are duvets and pillows for six people. Guests clean after their stay. For longer/recurring bookings, it is possible to purchase cleaning and bed linens.

Cabin with luxury, birdsong and lovely nature

Gammelgården is located 5 km north of Finspång. The cottage is newly built in the old style with moon windows, crystal chandelier and luxurious bed linens. Lake view and dock down to Bysjön, we have a small rowing boat for guests. Borrow bicycles for wonderful bike rides and borrow golf clubs, Finspång has a 27-hole course with pay and play. We (Ingrid and Bill and the cats Tussilago and Pantufa) live on the farm in an old house from the 1750s with separate entrance and parking.

The granary

Unwind in this unique and peaceful place to stay. You can still see traces of the building’s past as a grain storehouse from the mid-1800s — like the wide floorboards upstairs. When it was carefully turned into a home in the 2000s, the old loading openings were turned into bay windows to let in more light and offer a view, all while keeping the original timber frame intact. On the farm, you'll find a dog and some friendly sheep, and free-range chickens.

At one of the highest points in old Askersund is Villa Klippan and separately on the property you will find this exclusively furnished guest room. Adjustable beds, kitchen with induction stove, microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Private breakfast terrace. Close to the city center, swimming and walking paths. Bed linens and towels are in the room when you arrive and final cleaning can be added by agreement for SEK 150
