Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from the Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. If it's it can be rather cosy. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV, WIFI all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Tach I Count Cottage

Taigh Iomhair was originally a stone built thatched 'blackhouse'. It first appears on local historical records in 1814, but it is likely it was built in the latter half of the 18th century. The main structure of the house has not changed in over 200 years, but the property was internally refurbished in 2019, including new bathroom, kitchen, flooring and furnishings. The thatched roof was replaced many years ago, but the house still retains a character from a bygone crofting era.
