My boyfriend and I had a perfect stay at Cynthia's place. The property is stunning and the house was cozy and comfortable. We loved playing with all of the dogs and horses on the property. This is the perfect place to escape to for a peaceful retreat.

A wonderful and relaxing escape with picturesque views. The cottage itself is very stylish and comfortable. We originally planned to stay for one night but enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night.

This AirBNb is very cute and cozy! There isn’t anything fancy about this place, it has everything you need and is very comfortable. We would definitely Airbnb this place again. You can’t beat the location and the price. It was very clean and Deandra was such a sweet and kind host. Her directions were clear and she made sure to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very responsive to messages.

I did a 3-month clinical rotation in Charlottesville and this was a great place to stay. The apartment was cozy and close to everything! A short distance from downtown and the neighborhood was great for running. Parking on the side street was never a problem and there were always plenty of open spots. Adam was a wonderful host.

I booked this apartment as a place to stay during a clinical rotation at University of Virginia. Getting there was very easy, as was check in. The apartment is clean and has good amenities, including a small kitchen space with full sized fridge, microwave, and stove/oven. The bed is very comfortable. In addition, the apartment is located conveniently. It's only a 15-20 minute walk to the downtown pedestrian mall, about 10-15 minutes drive to UVA, and there is plenty to do nearby. I definitely recommend this rental for anyone coming to town, especially if it's for an extended stay. Adam is an excellent host and you'll have a good time.

I highly recommend the "Close to Everything" Stay to everyone looking to visit the Charolettsville, VA area!

The Hostess and her family made certain that there wasn't anything left out to make you feel comfortable as well as if you were in your own home.

You really can't beat the location here. Less than 10mins from Three Notch'd and the art park around it, and another 7-8mins walk to the mall. The space is perfect for one or two people and the neighborhood is easily walkable.

This space is lovely! The area is beautiful, and Gail was wonderfully communicative to make sure the cottage was easy to find and access. Frog Jump is such a cozy little spot for anyone wanting some time to themselves to relax. The property is great and in a great spot just on the other side of Charlottesville Airport. It’s only a 15 min drive to Charlottesville and a lovely drive in itself! The bed was even one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. Highly recommend!

This is by far the most thoughtful and truly wonderful Airbnb I’ve stayed in. It’s obvious that Gail put a ton of thought into the space, from the toiletries to the items in the fridge (cream for coffee, various condiments). The bed was cozy and comfy, water is nice and hot, the view from the porch and bed are serene, and we adored the chairs by the pond. It’s a perfect retreat in the woods without having to camp!

John’s place is in a wonderful spot for touring wineries south of Charlottesville! Very clean and quiet for a fun weekend!!

Great location! Easy to get to and close to Monticello and Monroe's Highland. The puzzles, tv, books, and games were great for relaxation after a long day of driving. The house had everything we needed, communication with John was easy, and it was a great location. If I come back to the area, I'd stay here again.

This had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's clean but dated which was fine with me. Close to Monticello and James Monroe's Highland which was the purpose of our trip. Nice hikes on The Trail Monticello. A must do is lunch at Michie Tavern. We had a very nice 2 night stay.

This place is great! Check-in is super easy. Daniel is very kind! The sheets were soo soft! Everything was super clean! And I loved the personalized touches with the chalkboard and the easels!

The place was cute and very clean. Rachel was very helpful and friendly. It was nice that the room had a chair especially one with wheels that was good-sized. If you prefer your mattress other than close to the firmest, maybe think about bringing a pillow-top mattress to soften it up a bit.

I've never done airbnb before, but Dan and Rachel blew me away. Incredible people, incredible place, I can't recommend them enough.

This place was absolutely perfect! My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely weekend here. The place is at a perfect location - nice and quiet ( you can drink your coffee in their cute garden while admiring the beautiful mountains) but still only about 8 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville! It’s def the best of both worlds ! The hot tub was a wonderful bonus! The host are also very welcoming and helpful. I would 100% recommend!

The space was exactly what we needed to relax. Once we visited some wineries, it was nice to come back to the hot tub and relax in the living area.

Elke's place was exactly as described- a true hippie getaway! The basement was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was an added plus, and the view was beautiful! Already planning a trip back!

I loved staying at this AirBnB. The location is close enough to the UVA campus and Downtown Mall for easy access but far enough away to have peace and quiet. The location has a stunning view of the surrounding mountains that blew me away even in the dead of February. The actual room where I stayed was spacious, decorated floor to ceiling with impressive art & collectibles, with awesome amenities that the host provided. As for the host, I felt extremely welcomed and appreciated the versatility and hospitality with which I was received—top of class based on my past AirBnB experiences. Really felt like this place accentuated all of my favorite things about Charlottesville, and in future trips to come this will be the first place I look to stay!

Definitely the best place to airbnb around Charlottesville. The view and hot tub really are the winners.

Scott and Christy’s home was amazing. Clean, easy to get around, and has everything that you could ever need. Scott will respond within hours of texts if you have any question. They leave a Bed Bath and Beyond gift card in case there are small needs for the house (dish towels, utensils, etc) There was plenty of space for me, my two children, and 65# dog. Lots of outdoor space for everybody to run. Scott and Christy are very hands off and let you have privacy. Scott and Christy went out of there way to make my children and me have a special Christmas while we moved into a new house. They left us Christmas decorations, Christmas cookie cutters, baking ingredients, and the kids Christmas gifts. Amazing stay!!!

Scott and Christy were wonderful hosts during our long-term stay. Scott was very responsive and willing to stop by and fix any issues (there were not many) quickly. The house is situated in a great area, near lots of parks (5 minutes from Monticello trails!) and within walking distance of downtown. My husband and I especially loved the spacious and well-equipped kitchen! We had some internet connectivity issues, but fiber optics will be installed very soon and should make the experience much better. One thing to note if you have dogs that like to wander, or small children, is that although there is a nice backyard, it is not fenced-in. We enjoyed the landscaping, though, because so many interesting flowers popped up in the springtime! Overall this was a great experience and we highly recommend staying here.

I would highly recommend this lovely house. It was very well appointed and obviously well cared for. I found the decor to be stylish, but also very comfortable. The kitchen had gorgeous stone countertops and a great gas stove that fired the teapot right up. The location is very quiet and scenic with lots of trees. I took Uber to the downtown / University / train station with no troubles.

Scott is the best host we have ever had. He goes above and beyond to be hospitable. He responds to questions and concerns very quickly and fixes problems as soon as possible. The location is wonderful-walkable to great restaurants in Belmont and a longer walk to historic downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and the people are kind. We highly recommend this location for longer stays!

We really enjoyed our stay at Scott's place. The communication and check in were great. The house is much better than the pictures. Very nice remodel and tastefully decorated. Great location and so easy to drive everywhere. We felt so comfortable and welcome. We even had a wine, orange juice, eggs, and milk waiting for us on arrival. The house really has everything you need to feel like a home. We didn't end up cooking but I wish we had time because the kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. My only regret is that our child graduated from UVA and we wished we had found the house sooner. Thanks again for letting us stay at your house!

I contacted Scott prior to our trip to Charlottesville to see if he would accommodate additional unforeseen guests (one additional adult and small child). He was very flexible and welcoming and even offered the option of "overflow" space at another of his properties as a kindness. Scott's intructions prior to and upon arrival to his place were clear and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Charlottesville. Would work with Scott again.

Nice and quiet. Description matches reality. Is is upper floor which I liked but keep in mind as no elevator and lots of steps if you have luggage. Super convenient. We walked back from our evening event and didn't have to worry about parking or catching an Uber.

This quaint cottage located in the horse country of Central Virginia is suitable for two people with twin beds on both ends of the space. It has everything you could need for a short stint in Shenandoah. Sofie is an incredible host and offers exceptional hospitality to her guests. We felt right at home. And what a beautiful area! Get used to seeing horse pasture and mountains each day of your stay!

Trish has converted the attic of a barn into a fantastic space for relaxation which is situated close to Charlottesville and nearby wineries. The space was clean and had everything we needed.

Great for two person gettaway from the hustle of the everyday grind. Remote and quiet, but not too far from anything you might need. Anything you could think of is no more than a 15 drive.

Adam was a fabulous host! I stayed at his house for about a month before I was able to move into my own apartment in Charlottesville, and I was very impressed! At first I was nervous, especially to stay somewhere for so long, but Adam was very gracious & welcoming and made me feel right at home. There are lots of amenities he makes available, and the location of his house is an easy walk or bus ride away from downtown. As a young, single woman, I take my safety very seriously and can 100% say that this Airbnb is safe and comfortable. I can't believe how fast my stay went! Thanks for everything, Adam!!

I had stayed at Adam's home for a couple of weeks to work at UVA. The place is convenient. It is close to the downtown mall. I enjoyed a 15-munute walk to the downtown mall to have a cup of coffee and take a bus every day. Adam kindly invited me to dinner, and I really enjoyed it. Adam is very kind and easy to talk. I could check in smoothly in spite of the delay in my arrival. My stay was very comfortable. Thank you very much for everything!

I had a fantastic stay here - it was perfect for a quick solo trip to Charlottesville. I didn't have the chance to meet Jen but she was super communicative and helpful via email. The room is lovely - clean, comfortable, nicely appointed with thoughtful touches (it has an awesome vintage vibe!) and the bed is very comfortable. Jen's home is within just a few minutes drive of the main Cville attractions, as well as restaurants and grocery stores, and parking was easy. Will look forward to returning!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was close to Charlottesville where my husband was working and just enough in the country to have peace and quiet. The bedrooms were very pretty and I was able to fit two pack n plays in the bedroom for our toddler and baby. It worked perfectly for what we needed. We also loved our bedroom and the king size bed. The kitchen was great and the kids loved the giant tv screen. Even though they did have cable (which we enjoyed because we don't have cable), we did bring our roku so the boys could watch Daniel Tiger on PBS. It was really a nice stay and very quiet too. Thank you again for allowing us to stay there. :)

On an extended business trip, this cozy cottage really made a difference. It’s far enough off the beaten path to have peace, yet close enough to everything the area has to offer. Clean, cozy, comfortable, and with all amenities needed to feel at home. Alicia was great, I highly recommend this property.

This cottage was great for our 3 day stay. Alicia was very responsive and accommodating. Her place was beautiful! Our dog particularly enjoyed the huge well-kempt lawn for games of fetch and playtime with Alicia’s sweet dog, Mr. Bean!

We stayed in Alicia's cottage for three nights. It was beautiful, clean, and perfect for a little romantic weekend getaway. The Cottage's high ceilings and open floor plan made the space feel extremely spacious and roomy, and the provided coffee, muffins, popcorn, and bowl of chocolate candy was just an extra bonus. Alicia was always quick to respond to questions and helped make our stay as easy and relaxing as ever. Highly recommended :)

Alicia was so easy to work with and was quick to reply whenever we sent a message.  She was very welcoming of us and our dogs as we were greeted in the driveway and made sure we didn't need anything. Alicia and Coby didn't hesitate to help, but also gave us privacy and didn't intrude on our personal space. The snacks, candy, muffins and popcorn were such a nice surprise and kind gesture. We will definitely stay here again when another weekend getaway is needed!

Alicia is a fantastic host! The cottage was more beautiful and peaceful than I thought possible. There is nothing left to be desired, anything you might have forgotten or didn't think you might need is conveniently supplied just where you'd keep it at home. There was no detail that escaped thought when the cottage was prepared, cold water in the fridge and full ice trays! Alicia also checked in to make sure we didn't need anything, with care and concern as if we were guests in here home. WOOF🐾 Pet friendly, and a beautiful place to take a stroll. Alicia’s cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway. Clean with so many thoughtful touches like a welcome note from the host, toiletries, coffee, and a cozy space that makes one feel right at home. We loved everything about this place and Alicia was always available for any questions that arose throughout our stay.

A great place to stay for the value. Very clean and quiet with an organized checkin/checkout. Unfortunately it’s not exactly within close walking distance to downtown, but a Lyft is under $10.

Clean, comfortable, and well-heated during our January stay. Affordable and an easy drive into town with available street parking made Chhabi's place a great choice.

If you’re coming to Charlottesville you need to stay at the Charles Suite. The home is gorgeous and the neighborhood is close to UVA. The room was clean and ready to go. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the room is spacious. The beverage closet had orange juice and milk in the fridge with coffee and tea if you. The goats in Anne’s backyard are very friendly and a great touch away from dealing with people all the time. We will definitely be staying at Anne’s again when we are in town.

A great place to stay in Charlottesville, conveniently located close to the University.

The room was a wonderful place to stay during our visit to Charlottesville. It was very nice to have the private bathroom as well attached to the room. The shower was also very unique!

The cozy stay with centralized location was great. It was only a short drive to downtown shops and dinning were the variety of food was amazing. We also enjoyed the walk to the concert at John Paul Jones arena for our planned concert event. The walk took about 25 minutes and along the way we admired the local housing architecture. Each house had its own charm and was a nice break from cookie cutter neighborhoods we see too often.

Another fantastic stay! I can always count on a great stay that’s clean, comfortable, and pleasant.

As always Anne is a Super Host! I love the clean and comfortable space in a great part of Charlottesville. One of my favorite Airbnb stays every time!

The Charles Suite provided an exquisite experience. There were a number of little touches and attention to detail which bolstered the experience even further. Everything was clean and tidy and Anne has given attention to lots of pillows and blankets so as to help make the space as comfortable as possible. Though the home is a little out of town, its location is also a bonus in that the scale of the property lends itself to its significant land size. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space!

This was an excellent Airbnb experience. The parking in the driveway and self check-in were great. I picked this location for that and the easy access to the Rivanna Trail. The lovely space was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location and neat space! We stayed for a few days while house hunting and working remotely. The space was perfect for the two of us - spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, and lovely bed. Better still it was in a really cool neighborhood, steps from a few excellent restaurants, and a short walk from downtown. There’s designated parking out back and an easy walk to the upstairs unit. Couldn’t ask for more - no complaints.

Our second time staying in this wonderful location. Clean and comfortable. Short walk to many restaurants, downtown mall, sprint pavilion. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very clean and convenient location. Awesome restaurants within a stone’s throw of the house. We enjoyed The Local, and look forward to a return trip to check out a few other spots. Weather was very cold and windy during our stay, but in nice weather it would be a nice half mile walk to the Downtown Mall.

Place was amazing! Perfect location, driving distance to mountains/downtown area, very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. Jason had some great recommendations as well for the area. Will be renting again!

Such a great place for my husband, dog and I to stay for a quick trip. I appreciate how welcome he was of my dog and provided a food dish for her as well as offered for her to run around in the back yard. He provided us with amenities and it was so clean I felt like I was staying in a hotel! Jason was very nice and will definitely book again.

I was in Charlottesville for work, and had my hubby and two Shih Tzu dogs in two, mixing business and pleasure. Jason's place was perfect! It's clean and spacious and has everything you need. It's a beautifully decorated downstairs apartment, and Jason has gone to great pains to make it comfortable for his guests - including canine guests! The bed is comfy, there's coffee and tea, a water bowl for your pooch, and all kitchen necessities. There's a large TV with many channels, two comfy couches, games, books, maps - you name it, he has thought of it! Jason himself is super friendly and clearly dedicated to providing a positive experience for his guests. Highly recommended.

Jason’s place was perfect for me, my husband, and dog! It is convenient to downtown Charlottesville and several hiking trails in Shenandoah. On top of that, his space offered plenty of conveniences, such as a kitchen, shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower, extra blankets, and dog bowls if you bring your dog! Since it is a guest suite attached to their house you could hear feet overhead at times, but nothing that will disrupt your sleep or daily life in the suite. There was also a white noise machine which made the place seem even more private, a plus!

Host was exceptional. Pull out bed was comfortable. Bed in room is firm. Kitchen is nicely decorated and has what you need. Space is laid out nicely. Smart TV was a huge plus was a relaxing evening!

My girlfriend, dog and I took a trip to Charlottesville for a concert to attend JPJ Arena. Jason was extremely friendly and accommodating as soon as we showed up and made sure we felt at home. He offered tips for travel and recommendations for while in town. He even offered to take my dog out while I was enjoying the concert. Jason ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to explore Charlottesville.

This is a wonderful little cottage, perfect for a romantic weekend, has everything you need! Great location, super comfortable bed, perfect furnishings and an amazing wood burning fire place!

The Guest Cottage is so wonderful! Gordon is a welcome host and provided extra touches (organic blueberries, bagels, free range eggs and yogurt) which were SO appreciated as we arrived late evening for our stay. The cottage is sparkling clean in a gorgeous mountain setting. Numerous deer spotted the field behind the cottage as the sun rose this morning! Wonderful stay and we plan a return stay in the near future.

In my book, this ranks in my top 3 AirBnB stays, and I've been to a lot! Easy to find, easy to check-in, amazing space, thoughtful touches, quick and easy communication...what more could I ask for? A longer stay!!

There are just so many wonderful things to say about this place! The scenery is so gorgeous that we had a difficult time leaving our back porch and poolside. Breakfast items were provided and that may seem like a small thing but It allowed for a leisurely morning. This is conveniently located to most any attraction. I highly recommend the tour and wines at King Family vineyard. Pippin Hill is a must see as well. It is on the most spectacular site. Don’t hesitate to book this place and enjoy all that C-ville has to offer!

The location of the cottage is fantastic and the pool is wonderful. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations on restaurants. We loved all the personal touches, including the delicious local granola, eggs, bagels and other treats for breakfast. The view, privacy, the landscaping and the beautiful chorus of birds and display of butterflies was lovely. A great visit! We hope to return.

From check in to check out the host was fantastic! Upon check in we received good local info and the kitchen was stocked with coffee, granola, and other great snacks. The view is amazing and the location was perfect. If your looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place.
