This was our second stay with Alexander and he confirmed our opinion again. Always helpful, great location, with the "algerdorfer wand" right outside the front door. A third stay will follow !!

Alexander’s place was perfect for me while I was traveling alone. He and his family were incredibly nice and helpful. The place itself was spotless. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Absolute dream location for our stopover with two small kids (2.5, 5). We loved exploring the grounds, spotting lots of fish, visiting the horses and their foal in the field, and our favourite part was feeding the horses in the 300-year-old stables, probably my daughters favourite memory of our holidays! The apartment had a lot of space with two double beds and a lovely bathroom with clean towels. The rustic style eating room/kitchen was well stocked and the very practical coffee machine was necessary for our subsequent drive:) Although we never met Alexander, his partner was super friendly and welcoming with her lovely cat 'Keks' and we got great directions to the nearby castle. We already can't wait to book our return stay! Big thumbs up!

Beautiful courtyard in the middle of nature, very idyllic. Ample space and a large kitchen and a terrace with forest views.

Krystian would have been an excellent host, of this I am sure. Sadly, I had to cancel my stay in literally the last minute due to a lack of transportation to and from the neighboring town in which I had a seminar to attend. He was absolutely flexible and understanding. Also, his response time is on point! Would have liked to stay there. Maybe next time!

Nice accommodation, nice and immediate communication, tip top cleanliness and hospitality. Arrived late on the day of arrival, but was received personally. The apartment is newly renovated, a large glass front with sliding doors offers a great view of the valley, in the fridge there was a small set of drinks, as well as coffee and tea bags. Cutlery and plates for a rudimentary breakfast or snack, microwave, coffee machine. Small but nice bathroom. Parking directly on the property. Drive to the Nuremberg exhibition center approx. 40 minutes, so not bad for business travelers. Recommendation!

at Jürgen everything is very meticulously clean. The room at the top under the roof is nicely decorated, with a large, super comfortable bed. I felt very kindly welcomed and thank you again for the morning coffee. There is a large family bathroom with a bath and shower and toilet on the middle level. And a guest toilet at the bottom. The stairs in the house are relatively steep. The place is about 30 minutes by car from Nuremberg, directly on the A9. The house is located on the outskirts of Schnaittach, forest in the immediate vicinity, you can go for a nice walk. And there is a well-frequented restaurant with tasty home-style food, a 10-minute walk directly at the train station. ( Closed on Tuesdays) Another restaurant with excellent cuisine, good service, nice view (in summer) is about 5 km away on the mountain and is called "Igelwirt".

Awesome place for a small escape in the quietness of the woods. Absolute pearl if you love pitoresque old buildings with character! Fanny is a great host, we only stayed one night but she made us feel right at home! Definitely recommend this one!!

Ingrid and Otto are excellent hosts. They have always cared for our (3 adults) wellbeing. After arrival there was a short tour of the apartment, so we had a trouble-free nice stay. We noticed the remarkable cleanliness immediately after arrival !!!! from living room, anteroom and bathroom on! For sufficient wood for the immediately heat-delivering wood stove was well taken care of. This wood stove made for cozy evenings and was enough for a cozy warmth. My two kids especially liked the easily usable WLAN and the multipliers everywhere !!! Sockets :-), as well as the wall mounts to hang jackets, pants, shirts, etc. almost anywhere FAST. We lacked nothing, especially as I always carry my own hot air fryer and coffee maker when traveling, where there is no kitchen. Plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, kettle and some kitchen utensils were in spite of there was no kitchen, available. We also thought that was great. The comfortable! Bunk bed and about 1.40 m wide bed let us sleep every night restful. Also worth mentioning is the seat in the entrance area, where you can put on your shoes. and can take off. Thank you very much Ingrid and Otto, we enjoyed it a lot, we will definitely be back!

Awesome place

STAY HERE!! No really, stay here. It's a wonderful place to stay, nearest grocery store is 8 minutes away by car, everything inside the flat is very clean, Ingrid and her husband are very accommodating and friendly, they even have a DVD player and DVDS for you to watch if you'd like! Absolutely reccomend staying here if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

Spacious accommodation, with three rooms and all amenities. The interior is top-level! Everything is very clean, spacious and comfortable. It is located in a picturesque place. I didn't even expect to get this for a small price.

We had a great stay. The apartment is very generous: two bedrooms, one living room, a toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a terrace that overlooks Velden. Ingrid was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

An old school in a quaint village on a hill with a castle... what’s not to like? The kitchen spacious, the bed wonderful and the shower hot. Oh and when we stayed a snow storm painted the world white overnight :-) We’ll be back!

I recommend to come here and stay one night. The place offers everything you need and Marcus is friendly to help you. And you can definitely enjoy the walk to the castle and landscape. And since not so many tourists go to Hohenstein, if you take the bus to the place, you can enjoy having own bus driver and chat with them on the way. Get ready to take off!

We had a very pleasant stay at Regine’s house. We met with great hospitality and both we and our baby flet very comfortable. Regine is responsive and provided us all information needed. House is next to the speedway so it was a perfect location to stop on the way back from Italy. There is also a supermarket nearby. I highly recommend Regine as a host.

The apartment is located in a beautiful area, totally quiet and idyllic. In front of the apartment invites a covered terrace overlooking the pool and the green to linger and relax. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and furnished with modern furniture. We slept very well there. The bathroom is spacious and very nice. Towels were plentiful. In the kitchen were a filled fruit basket, drinks (including a small bottle of sparkling wine), various jams, coffee powder and tea bags ready. A nice reception. Birgit, the hostess, was very friendly, friendly and helpful. We will be back!

We stayed two nights with our son (1 year old) in Birgit's apartment, as we were for a wedding in Kirchensittenbach. We were very satisfied with everything: - very spacious apartment, in which we had room for everything, which one needs so with toddler and the small still could move freely - very nice and uncomplicated reception - great recommendation for dinner Absolutely quiet location - all clean and really well equipped kitchen - Perfect for us, as there were also good darkening options - although rather hard mattresses, surprisingly comfortable and slept very well (best bed so far traveling in Europe

Everything perfect

Birgit and her daughter was very warm and accommodating. Her place was sparkling clean and has all the required amenities (everything you could need in the kitchen! And plenty of towels). She even offered breakfast since we arrived on a Sunday and all the stores were closed. She has a covered heated pool right outside the door, which was nice during the summer. We brought our own soap and shampoo anyway, so it wasn’t a big deal that these were not provided. Pillow is too thin and soft for my taste. I would totally stay here again if we’re back in the area! Barbara has been an extremely thoughtful host while we stayed in Hersbruck, her house is sparkle clean, comfortable and in good location. 10 minutes to the train station, 15 minutes to Nuremberg by train. Me and my colleagues found everything we needed in the small town of Hersbruck and Barbara was kind enough to guide us through our journey. Thank you, Barbara, for sure we will come back again!

Nice gentleman and a nice apartment.

Our stay at Dennis' place was one of our most memorable Airbnb-experiences ever – in the most positive sense. His villa is like an art-journey in time and space and it is a pleasure just to spend time there. Dennis is a relaxed and accomodating host, who obviously really enjoys running an Airbnb. Futhermor the two friendly dogs and the cat also added much value to the stay. We also loved Velden with the narrow streets and the beautiful river Pegnitz that runs through the village. We very much hope to return sometime!

It is a very nice quiet place to stay. The perfect starting point for small, fine hikes and outdoor activities. Highly Recommended! :-)

Thomas is a warm and very reliable host. The apartment is idyllically situated in a former mill and offers everything your heart desires. Various sleeping options (including a water bed) on two levels, a small kitchen area, a couch and dining area and a separate bathroom with shower. The ambience is very cozy thanks to various beams and the sloping roof. Everything is squeaky clean. We would love to come back :)

I have spent several weeks in the apartment for professional reasons and can recommend it without reservation for shorter or longer stays. The apartment is stylishly furnished, offers sufficient cooking facilities and is well located on the river / hiking trail. Thomas is a very nice and attentive host.

We can recommend the AirBnB unrestricted, great starting point for hiking and climbing. The apartment is very cozy and Thomas a great host!

Our stay at Thomas was great, you can relax in his apartment really well. If you travel in pairs, you even have the agony of choice between waterbed and normal bed :) On arrival were already plenty of drinks in the fridge at our disposal, as well as a basic equipment in the kitchen (salt, pepper, a few spices, fresh , megaleckere apples, etc.) and in the bathroom (including new toothbrush!). Thomas lives right next door and was always approachable, the other residents were very nice. The apartment is totally bright and pleasant, if you are sensitive but should think of a mosquito / fly spray .. is just like that in the country :) The Pegnitz flows directly past the house, although it is only partially suitable for bathing (water temperature 17 degrees at the most) and in Hersbruck there is one of the best ice cream parlors we know. If we want to recover in the area, we will certainly first ask Thomas! PS: a few items that we forgot were sent after us without any problems! Thank you again for that!

Great apartment in beautiful scenery. The apartment is completely renovated, everything feels fresh and clean. Communication was straightforward. The balcony with great views or the small garden invites you to linger. Great environment for hiking, cycling or canoeing. Outstanding apartment. Very modern, clean, and located relatively close to the train station. The apartment is spacious and well laid out. There is a challenge with the steps since the apartment is on the top floor, however the challenge is worth it. I will be happy to stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Andrea and her family are absolutely lovely and always ready to help whenever needed. Andrea responded to my messages super quickly, the check-in process was seamless and they went on and beyond with thoughtful touches. They are always around for the questions etc. There is no washing and drying for you at no extra cost. When we were there, and your best Option is probably Lauf an der Pegnitz - a beautiful little town 15 mins drive away. Edeka supermarket is 10 minutes drive. --------- Andrea and her family were super nice, answered very quickly and everything with the check in went very well. They live next door and are always there for you. There is no washing machine in the house, but you can wash everything at Andrea and dry. For shopping or in the restaurant you have to go by car (although there is an inn 10 minutes walk) - Lauf an der Pegnitz is a nice option, only 15 minutes by car. Edeka 10 mins.

We visited Ingrid for the Toy Fair in Nurnberg. The house was clean, cozy with all the conforts available. Ingrid came to the train station at 1 o clock after midnight to pick us up and take us to the house. She was very helpful, friendly and cheerful. She also helped us with printing our boarding passes. We were welcomed very friendly. The apartment is tiptop clean and everything is there, what you need. Ingrid and her husband are very helpful, we felt very well.

First, I was received very friendly and guided through the apartment. I could park directly at the house and the entrance is shared. The kitchen has a stove, oven, coffee maker and kettle. The equipment on pans, pots, cups, plates and cutlery was outstanding. The wifi was very stable and could be used for streaming movies. The connection to Nürnberg Messe or the sports area takes about 20 minutes by car - therefore an absolute tip for trade fair guests. In the immediate vicinity there are also shops (Aldi, Rewe, beverage trade). In the apartment of the host family is really allles available, what you need. In addition to the basic (bedding) were also really attentive and well-thought-out things such as hand and bath towels or even toothbrush, toothpaste or shaving cream available. I was particularly surprised by the offer to use their coffee. My stay took a week and I am more than satisfied - especially in terms of cleanliness, value for money and facilities. Special thanks to the landlords who maintain a very friendly and always approachable. In addition to the more than generous features of the apartment anyway, there were attentions such as a city map with information about Nuremberg and even freshly baked cakes :) An absolute tip for those who want to spend some time in Nuremberg but want to enjoy quiet, comfortable and cozy nights outside the city!

Very well maintained apartment with great amenities and very friendly hosts in a quiet residential area. 5 minutes on foot, the regional train is reachable, goes directly to the main station Nuremberg in only 23 minutes. Ideal to avoid measuring prices for hotels in Nuremberg! Highly recommended!
