What a perfect cosy room right in the heart of Amsterdam, Miguel’s place is located absolutely perfect for walking to all of the sights. The room is in a gorgeous old building, with stylish decorations and high end amenities. Miguel was super welcoming and helpful with local tips. I highly recommend his place for anyone that wants to be close to the action, but still quite at night for a good night sleep.

Super nice to be able to reach the location by car. Bicycles are ready. Especially at this time to have your own, front door and accommodation, inside and outside. Spotless and equipped with disinfectant bottles. Beautiful area for cycling and walking. Hospitable reception.

A super, clean, beautiful, two-story houseboat apartment 30 minutes by bike from Amsterdam! Great for couples who want to spend a weekend in Amsterdam. The standard, kitchen-bathroom-bedroom is simply fantastic, almost everything new. It is a quiet location that invites you to relax! Only recommendable!

The landlord can clearly introduce the use of the room. The people are very kind. The boat house is a special experience and it is worth recommending.

We felt right at home. Everything was so lovingly prepared! In German there is a special word for it: "cozy". ;-). Thank you especially for the fresh flowers, the many small treats and that the City Card was already ready for the tram! Frans and his wife are perfect hosts. We would choose this property again at any time. Also highly recommended in winter. Amsterdam was not so crowded and you could enjoy the museums in a relaxed way. Cycling on the dike right outside the front door makes you forget the proximity to the big city.

Everything was better than described, comfortable and clean. Getting there and back by metro is very fast and easy. Kim and Daniel are very friendly and helpful with what ever needed. This is the second time we have booked this great room! Always as good, it is a pleasure to stay here whenever we are in Amsterdam. Great breakfast, very good and plentiful; a super comfortable bed, a great shower, a microwave and tea making facilities and a great private roof top terrace. What is the best dream? We advise with eyes closed!

We loved every minute of our stay here! Kim and Daniel are amazing hosts and even provided a fabulous breakfast every morning, which was a really thoughtful gesture! The place itself is only a very short metro ride/ferry to city centre, so the perfect location. The roof top terrace and wet room were a lovely addition! Where to start!? Kim and Daniel have truly earned their status as 'superhosts'! Their apartment is stunning, full of lots of thoughtful extras which made our stay even more smooth and enjoyable! I cannot reccomend them and their apartment enough!!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely 4 nights stay in Kim and Daniel’s attic. The room was very homely and cosy and was perfect for the two of us. We were given breakfast every morning at the time of our choice which was a lovely way to start the day, not to mention delicious! The room was very clean and tidy with some useful bits and pieces that you may need during your stay. Kim provided us with some ideas for things to do and see during our stay which was very helpful. Kim and Daniel also allowed us to leave our luggage in their house on our final day as our flight wasn’t until later that evening which was very kind of them. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to recommend Kim and Daniel to anyone planning a trip to Amsterdam.

Perfect place to stay in Amsterdam, everything is walking distance. From the airport to the city center is easy and convenience.

This was my second time visiting this Airbnb B&B. The location is perfect for a tourist, and Matthijs is an A++ host! The room is just as advertised, and perfectly located. Stop looking further, and book this place!

The apartment was perfectly located and had everything we needed for our (unfortunately) short stay in beautiful Amsterdam! We haven‘t met Matthijs personally, but he took great care of us via WhatsApp and tried to make the trip as pleasant as possible. Thank you! The breakfast at de laatste kruimel was also perfectly fine. We‘ll be back!

First of all, Matthijs is super kind, thoughtful and answered all of our questions quickly. Upon arrival he gave us a ton of local tips. The room is charming, clean and packed with all kinds of amenities - and Vermeer themed (thus the milkmaid). A bit small indeed, but for a couple is enough and its location compensates whatever downsides anyone might point out (dam square is right behind, central station in 10min walk). And man, the breakfast. It’s served in another place, a short 2min walk, in a equally charming bakery. All fresh and delicious.

Most enjoyable stay. Matthijs gave us a pleasant welcome, despite our late arrival. The apartment is close to the center, in a quiet lane. The bathroom is small but very clean and well designed. Add to that fluffy and profuse towels and it's perfect! The bed is large and comfortable, we slept very well there. Thank you for everything!

Matthijs was really nice and helpful, he kept giving useful Amsterdam vacation tips and also, breakfast place he gives us rocher “De Laatste Kruimel” was very delicious. Another good point was the location of B&B, it is literally near the Dam Square which is simply centre of Amsterdam. Cleanliness & housekeeping was satisfying. Just a little cons is there was a noise issue.

Amazing. Liselore and Eltjo are really kind and helpful. The room isn't big but it's enough for a great weekend. The bed is really comfy and we had enough space for our stuff. A great location near the center with beautiful sunrises and sunsets for free.

A perfect experience to go as a couple and a very cozy place, even though there was no hot water in the tap and mattress, even though it was very comfortable, it had a lot of humidity. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

This apartment is in a prime location in the city centre and walking distance to most of the main attractions and there are 2 metro stations a few minutes away if needed. There are cafes, restaurants, bars & coffee shops 2 minutes bawling away and Dam square & the red light district is on your door step too. The apartment in in a traditional Dutch home and is a little on the small side but it has everything you need for your stay. Thomas and Eyal were great hosts and very helpful. I would recommend this apartment to anyone on a city break.

A cozy and intimate boat, perfect for exploring the city. It was our cocoon for 5 days. Franck, the host, is helpful and arrival at the accommodation is completely independent, which is very significant. The location is perfect especially by bike. Level equipment, just enough to make breakfasts and a fridge. Unforgettable and authentic accommodation, we really loved this romantic getaway !!

A cosy and calm place to relax and enjoy life directly by the water with a beautiful view of the waterfront of Amsterdam.

Very pleasant stay at the edge of this barge! We were pleasantly surprised by its layout and its cozy side! Frank is an attentive and available host. The barge is a little far from the center but we know how to access it by ferry which is 5min walk from the accommodation and all trips are completely free from one point to another. We highly recommend this accommodation. It's a great discovery!

Great place to stay when you want to visit the Zaanse Schans. Away from the crowds, but close enough for an easy and nice walk. Van has a great and kind family that will make make you feel welcome. Definitely recommend to stay!

I've booked this accommodation literally a couple of hours before I arrived. ("Meltdown" at Schiphol airport lead to most flights beeing cancelled) It was great, that Van was still able to arrange everything on such a short notice. I've had a great stay. The house is easy to get to (close to the station) and only a half an hour trainride from Schiphol which made things so much easier.

Really great place to relax. Exactly as described. Close to the train station to and from Amsterdam and it is a short bike ride away to the Zaanse Schans windmills.

Our stay for one night at Van's place was excellent. She (and her family) is a wonderful host. We had everything in the house what we expected. Absolutely convenient location for visiting cacao (cocoa) factory, museum and the windmills (max 10 min walk), train station is 5 min from her place. Along with all the amenities, I was also pampered with the green oolong tea that she offered. She also offered tips for some very good restaurants and cafes nearby. Undoubtedly I recommend her place to other guests. Van, we will stay again at your place when I visit with my family next time.

Van is a wonderful host. We had a late flight to Amsterdam and she was so great that she waited for us with check-in. I appreciate clear communication, a great location very close to a train station. I would totally recommend staying at her place!

It was a very nice and cosy stay, with an amazing fragrance all around the flat :) For some reason, maybe because there are some cocoa-processing factories in the north of the Netherlands, it smelled like delicious cocoa when we opened the windows :) Sonja is an excellent host, very timely, clear, and well-organized. The flat was clean, we had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed our stay. We wish Sonja a lot of grateful guests and success in dancing! :)

Neat space with everything you need. Checking in and communication is very quick and easy. The location is very quiet and especially pleasant with children. Sonja is a good hostess who makes you feel at home quickly

Because of the corona measures, we "worked" at home at Sonja for a few days. Nice place to escape your own home: lots of light, nicely decorated and supermarket around the corner. Due to corona there were no group lessons, only rehearsals with earphones. Sonja also communicated this to us in time. Therefore our stay was very satisfying!

Vintage accommodation that I really appreciated. I felt in my element. Everything is in order except a very small problem with the heating. The accommodation is very original and we warmly recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much Sonja.

The place is beautiful and the neighborhood it is in too! Near to the train station. The only criticism is that they charge us 3 euros per towel, it never happened to us. The rest all very well.

Very good value for money, interesting location outside the city and quickly accessible by train (10 min walk then 10 min by train to reach the city center) the accommodation is functional and the small courtyard is pleasant, all in a very quiet area, great!

Very good value for money. The tiny house has everything you need for a short visit to Amsterdam/surrounding areas. Just keep in mind that it will take you roughly half an hour to get to the city centre.

We had a great stay at Karin’s place. The room is cozy and stylish, breakfast and coffee was delicious. Karin is an amazing host - she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everything went very smoothly. Koog ad Zaan is a good and quiet location - 15 mins train to Ams Centraal and 5 mins to historic Zaanse Schans. Overall 5 star ⭐️ We would definitely stay at Karin’s house again.

You can choose Karin's place without any second thoughts, she is the best and her place is clean, safe and beautiful. Also she is quite sincere and supporting. Me and my friend loved everything.

Very Good Space, Karin was always very helpful and ready to help with any questions we had regarding locations or transportation, as well as facilitating the Check in and Check out times. The house is "noticeably" close to the center are only 3 train stops from Amsterdam main station. If you come back to Amsterdam again Karin's house is at the top of the list to stay again.

We had a really easy and uncomplicated check-in! And wow, what a beautiful, cosy house! We loved it so much. It’s a great place to do some sightseeing (Amsterdam, the windmills in Zaanse Schans) and the train is just around the corner, only a few minutes walking distance (15min to Amsterdam Centraal). We also enjoyed a very good breakfast which Karin prepared for us! We will definitely come back again!

Her place a good for exploring Amsterdam as it is only 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam Central station, but is very quiet and safe. It's also close to windmills. Highly recommended!

The house is very beautiful, warm, clean, and we had everything we needed. Also, the best thing is that the place is very quiet, and by bike you can get anywhere!! Karin is very nice! Although we didnt see her, she answered very quickly and gave us everything. Definitely worth it!!

We stayed with my mom at Karin's place for 3 days. It was really nice, room is small but everything you need is there and big very comfortable bed of course. Karin is very kind and friendly person. We was happy to stay there. And for sure we will recommend this place.

The room is really nice and cosy, with a (realy!) large bed and a warm atmosphere. You can reach the city center as well as other interesting sides (e.g. the windmills at Zaanse Schans) very quickly by train or even by bike. Karin supplied us with everything we needed and we had a very nice stay!

Ans & Jans place is wonderful. It was built by Ans which in itself is very impressive. When we arrived Jan greeted us and gave us a tour and recommended a local place for dinner next door which was delicious. The house is not far from the train station which was super helpful for our trips each day. The view from the house to the local canals was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Amsterdam and hope to be back in the future.

I absolutely adore this quaint Air B&B and can’t recommend it enough!! Ans & Jan were so incredibly sweet towards us. The home itself was built by the homeowners and crafted beautifully in every detail, it was easy to feel right at home in this Air B&B. The fridge was stocked with wine, beer & water. The bed was a little squeaky, but the sheets were 5-star quality && smelt/felt wonderful. The location is a 5 minute walk to the train station that will take you right to Amsterdam in 15min. Very simple to navigate the area. If you don’t take the train into the city the location is still the perfect spot! It’s a fifteen minute walk to all the beautiful windmills Amsterdam is known for. Chocolate, cheese & clogs galore. The chocolate factory nearby made the entire town smell like chocolate, the whole stay was something out of a storybook. Thanks Ans & Jan!!!

Ans and Jan’s place is so nice and clean. Our stay was wonderful with two separate rooms and two restrooms. The frig was stocked for us to have a wine or beer after a long day of travel. I would stay here again.

Comfortable beds. Twin beds are narrow for American adults and are a little squeaky. We are 2 couples so one couple got the larger bed and we split the twins. Worked out great for us. Definitely perfect for a family with kids. No noise, great use of windows with screens. Host easy to contact and simple check in. Shower super hot and plenty large enough with great water pressure. Nice having water, beer and wine already present. Indian restaurant next door was extremely tasty. Really enjoyed the chicken soup (sounds silly I know). Slager restaurant was also fantastic. The quality of these 2 places makes them worthy of destination dining.

Ans & Jan are lovely hosts!! They respond quickly to messages and are very kind and helpful! The house itself is great! Nice living space, very clean. It is close to some pubs, the supermarkets and yummy bakeries! Across the bridge is the windmills at Zaanse Schans, museums and lovely scenery! I recommend renting a bike and taking a tour of the country side. About a 10 minute walk from the train station which takes you to Amsterdam Centraal in about 18 minutes. Very easy to use! We had a great stay here and would visit again!!

A beautiful and spacious houseboat in a gorgeous location nearby Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans. Eventhough we were only two, it was a great space that would comfortably accommodate 6, enough bikes for everyone and in the summer the boat will be fantastic. From the high end coffee/espresso maker to many kitchen items we were able to get settled in and relax from the start. We biked around every day thanks to the detailed biking maps included, it is short distance by bike or car to many shops so stocking up the kitchen was a breeze. Totally quiet spot, highly recommended. Easy check in and quick communication with Anouk throughout.

The houseboat is a lovely, quirky and stylish place to stay in a quiet suburb just outside of Amsterdam. It was lovely in February, but imagine this would be outstanding in the summer. Easy to get to Central Amsterdam, and nice to escape from the hustle and bustle of the centre

It was a real pleasure to stay at Anouk's : a good alternative to the buzy town. We saw a couple of swan and some ducks sunday morning : it was really nice. We have also appreciate the decoration of the home and its atmosphere : peacefull nad quiet. And all this very near from Amsterdam : 17 minutes by foot and train.

We had a lovely stay, was very clean and shops and train stations are well within walking distance and maps provided in the houseboat give detailed instructions to help you get to places nearby.

The houseboat is just perfect; it’s very clean, there’s everything one needs, the beds are comfortable, the living room and kitchen are spacious, one can rent bikes and the host is very helpful! Would definitely recommend without any hesitation!

Wonderful

The house was beyond our expectations. We arrived very easily, and there were parking spots for the car right in front of the house. The house itself looks amazing, and was very clean. It has three bedrooms with large beds, made with very comfortable linnen. Justin, our host, was responsive and helpful during our stay. The location is amazing, with only a 5 min walk to the train station, and a 15 min train ride to Amsterdam Centraal. I highly recommend this house for friends looking for a nice place for the weekend.

This house has an awesome location, with easy access to public transportation to zip into Amsterdam. There’s a grocery store one block away and easy free parking if you drive (and please leave your car parked at the house..parking in Central Amsterdam was €55 a day). It was clean and served the needs of our family well. Beware the staircase is very steep and not suitable for young children or the elderly. However, there is plenty of room downstairs so the stairs can be avoided.

I’d recommend this spot to anyone visiting Amsterdam solo for a while, its close to all the action while still being low key. The hosts treated me like a friend, while still respecting boundaries. Really a 10/10 place. Will definitely try to stay here when i come back to Amsterdam.

Talitha is really a nice and welcoming host, and her breakfast is awesome. This is a really nice place to discover the surroundings of Amsterdam, and even to walk to the beach, through the forest and the dunes...with "some" wind and even a few snow in January ! The windmill is also a good (free) place to go, and you're allowed to go inside it and enjoy the view. I really recommand it !

Lovely farm environment, great for a quiet stay with friends. The commute to Amsterdam central was more difficult than anticipated, though cycling in was possible either the whole way (including a river crossing on the ferry) in 1hr30min, or via Zaandam station (30min cycle + train ride). With own transport it would be easier! Overall beautiful and unique location.

It is a very nice place. Sleeping in the box bed was great and Aart and Tiny are very hospitable.

Clean and tidy space in the countryside near Beverwijk. Aart is jovial and hospitable. There are meadows with lambs, goats and rabbits. And sleep in the box bed, a new experience. And slept well! The kitchen and toilet are in the barn behind the apartment and are shared with residents of another apartment and (the few) visitors to the resting point, a kind of self-service restaurant that is in the barn. Despite the countryside feeling and view, there is regular noise from aircraft taking off.

Excellent host, extremely responsive and wonderful place to stay. This house is really all about the interior- the outside gives none of its secrets away. Location: 15min walk from main train station- €8(ish) return to Amsterdam Central (direct). It’s in a clearly industrial suburb to Amsterdam- safe but very factory orientated. Local Amenities: Lidl and Aldi. In house entertainment: Good WiFi, free large pool table with 2 cues, up to 2x HD ready large TVs (perfect for gaming etc.) amazing covered indeed patio area for chilling/ playing games/ gyming. Bedrooms: 3 rooms, plenty of single beds for all guests. Rooms keep the light out in the morning and beds are entirely functional. Kitchen: Upstairs- as you require- kettle, good oven, hobs, sink etc. Lounge: Where this house makes itself memorable. Huge living room with pool table and door to sizeable bathroom. With comfy sofas 2m away from the indoor patio area- you have everything you need to thrive here: A quiet zen tucked away from the bustle of Dam Central.

Everything was perfect. The loft is amazing and equipped with everything you need. I can highly recommend this appartement 👍

The location is very good and in general the room is very nice. The best without a doubt is the bed, very large and fluffy! The only detail to note is that the coffee maker does not work and neither does the tv, but I think they can fix it quickly.

Very nice accommodation a bit outside of Amsterdam. In the area there is a very nice village with many windmills.

Nice place stay, if you want avoid city noise. Room is a bit small though but its ok for one night or two.

The private Room was everything you needed and expected. It was clean and cozy. Camila and her husband were very friendly. The room is close to the train station to Amsterdam so you can get easily downtown in about 15-20 minutes.

Had a good and uncomplicated stay. The train to Amsterdam is in walking distance and supermarket is close by as well. Quiet neighborhood and absolutely clean room.

Quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from the city center by train. A ten minute walk to public transit and the grocery store. The house is quiet so it’s great place to sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The bedroom and bathroom room are clean and spacious. The staircase is a little narrow so be careful if you have larger luggage to bring.

It was very clean and just as described. We were allowed to use the kitchen, which was very nice. It was quiet and the bathroom is very nice. The station is super close and there is also a super close bus station.

It is close to a train station to Amsterdam (10min walk). The indication for the key is very clear. It's very clean, the room is big enough. The bathroom is nice and very clean, there are also towels available. The hosts very nice! This is great for 4 travelers!

Room kitchen and bathroom clean. A bathroom with only 1 toilet for 7 visitors. A bit fair anyway.

Crystal and Keith are really good hosts. The location is a short 9 minute walk from the train station Koog aan de Zaan that gets you to central Amsterdam in less than 20 minutes. You can buy a regional train pass and you can go from this place to anywhere in amsterdam for an affordable price. The place was really clean and the beds were really comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Only 5 minutes walk to the train station and 15 minutes trains to Amsterdam central. The house is really big and functional. Has all the amenities. Check in and check out were very easy. Recommend it.

So much larger than in the pictures. Beautiful home with easy access to Amsterdam and walking distance to Zaan Schans. Was very pleased with the home and ease of check in.

The house in Koog an de Zaans is very spacious and ideal for a group of five couples. The interior is modern and functional. The kitchen is great and allows to prepare meals for everyone. The location is ideal for a lot of activities in and around Amsterdam. Thanks a lot! Christian

Great shared apartment. Flo and his mother were very kind to us and answered all questions with great care. There is an ease and comfort that comes naturally when staying here. The location makes it a great resting place when visiting Amsterdam as it is easy of access. The kitchen is amazing and fully equipped for cozy meals at home.

There is not much more I can add about my stay at Georgia’s place except that it was an exceptional experience with mine host who I think was a credit to Airbnb once again thanks so much for your hospitality,I believe that says it all

Georgios is a great host and awesome to hang out with at the house. He gave me plenty of recommendations of things to do so I was never bored, and the apartment is in a beautiful location right next to the park.

The apartment is near the city center. It is a very beautiful place and it is in the Rembrantpark, that is beautiful. The family of Georgius were very kind. I recommend this place.

Georgios place is beautiful and exactly as advertised. The check in was smooth and I met Georgios and his wife who are both lovely. The room is very bright and comfortable. When I come back I’m picking this place.

Excellent stay a good treatment by Petra and her husband

Petra made us feel like family. We enjoy the stay. The room is small, but the rest of the house has everything you need to make your stay pleasant. A big plus is its location (near train stop and Zaanse Schans). I definitely recommend it.

The place is very nice and much much better than i thought it would be. It is located just infront of zaanse station which heads us directly to Amsterdam centraal in 15-20 minutes. Petra is a great host and allowed us for an early check in. I would definitely recommend the stay, its far from the city chaos amidst the beautiful windmills located walking distance. Getting to City Centre is quite easy.

Petra and her husband are very accommodating and flexible. The room is small but comfortable and there is enough space in the one next to it for luggage and hanging out. The windows in either room cannot be opened, but there is a ventilation system. Location is fantastic.

Nice location. Apartment was only 17 mins by train from Amsterdam centrum. It is highly recommended .

We have passed a very wonderful time in the house of Mrs Petra. We literally felt like we are at home. I will never forget this beautiful experience. The house is just in front of the train station and it was very clean. The communication was excellent We recommend this place very strongly
