Rustic Farm House

Secluded small farm house nestled in among maple, apple and pine trees. Lots of parking for trailers and guests. Wood burning Sauna on property. Just a short walk down the hill is our Private rock beach On Lake Superior with a fire pit to get cozy and watch the sunset. The main cabin also has a fire pit for your enjoyment. This is a quiet place with whitetail deer being the only thing to come and visit. Occasionally you’ll see bald eagles fly overhead looking for their dinner. Walking trails.

Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

The outdoors await for year round relaxation. The Bear Paw vacation home is situated on over two acres of land with 200' of private shoreline overlooking Lake Superior for swimming, wading, or just sitting and listening to the waves lap upon the shore. The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a complete kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, snack bar, and a laundry area with a washer and dryer. The living area has comfortable couches, TV w DVD player, and a gas fireplace.

One stall of garage parking available so you can go right from car to apartment without dealing with the snow. The driveway is plowed. Wifi, heat, keurig coffee selection included. Washer and dryer are in the spacious bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen and electric fireplace. Handicap accessible with stairlift from garage. Full sized bed with additional pullout couch.

Beautiful year round beach house. This tiny house is located on Second Sand Beach. Guests will enjoy an all sand beach on Lake Superior. It is 8 miles from the town of L’Anse, and a 40 minute drive to Houghton. Cross country ski trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and ORV trails are minutes away. Participate in the many summer and winter fishing tournaments in the area or relax and unwind on the private beach. A boat launch area is a short walk down the beach.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. We purchased this house from our dear grandmother who loved her view of the bay, hence the name; Martha’s Bay View. You cannot beat the beautiful view of Lake Superior and the amazing sunsets. Not far from 2nd Sand Beach for swimming and picnics. Use this as home base for all the sightseeing our area has to offer. Has a fully operational kitchen with microwave, coffee pot/Keurig. No pets and no smoking.
