patrick was super nice and really welcoming the scenery and area is amazing and the room is also great.. however it did not have a nic ebed? only a small sofa which wasnt great for couples. i think a better quality double sofa bed would ad d a real lot to the place and also the addition of curtains for mor eprivacy will make a great deal more comfort. which patrick noted was on the way soon ;) the toilet and shower faciltys are basic but certainly suitable. perhaps keeping a nice supply of milk sugar and tea or coffee for the morning woudl be nice. i think if al these things were added it would justify charging a higher price as it was as it is a very cheap room so i can not complain really. the view from the room and peacefulness of the surroundings is top of the range :)

Everything was perfect! The scenery around the house was gorgeous, and we were a very short walk from the lake and a quick drive to fantastic hiking. Our hosts were very welcoming and we are definitely looking forward to coming back!

Great place to stay for a night! Patrick and Martine are very kind and easy to communicate with. We came at about 8pm and Martine welcomed us warmly and showed us to the place. It's exactly as described. The view of the lake and the sky full of stars are breathtaking. There's a small fridge in a bungalow along with the stove and a sink,so it's possible to cook there. Wifi is not working in a bungalow, you have to come closer to the main house to use it. Anyway it worth every penny spent. Thank you very much for hosting us.

located a few kilometers north of Freiburg, it offers a moment of contact with nature, away from the noise. the friendliness of the host family is superb. I recommend breakfast with local products.

We stayed at the Aline's place (which is a living house and a milk farm) for two nights. It was a separate apartment (with its own bathroom & kitchenette). Aline provided a Swiss-like breakfast which was great. Our kids really enjoyed this stay as they checked all the farm's animals and particularly loved to play with Aline's dog. Le Mouret (the village) is close, by car, to Fribourg. Though the might be public transport to Le Mouret, a car is needed for reaching the place. Overall: recommended.

This stay was perfect for our family with 3 young kids. They loved seeing the goats and chickens and friendly cats and dog. The kids' sleeping room was sparate from the rest of the studio which was a nice surprise for us. The kitchen included basic cook wares, strove, and a small refrigerator among other comforts. Aline was a wonderful host and we would happily stay there again!

Denyse and her husband were excellent hosts. The room was tidy and clean, had a nice sized table to work on, great internet, plenty of information about the region and of course, some Swiss chocolates. Full breakfast offering cereals, fruit, jam, ham and local cheeses was included in the price. Bathroom, although on a different floor, was extremely clean and reserved for the guest. Parking on the front is allowed. The area is quiet, but only 10 minutes away from Friburg, 15 minutes away from Gruyères and walking distance from plenty of easy trails around the impressive water dam. I will definitively stay again when back in the Gruyère region!

Our stay is very well and we were very well received by Claire-Do and her husband. The studio is like the pictures, clean and with all the accessories necessary for the kitchen and bathroom. It is with pleasure that we return home if we return to this beautiful area.

Claire Do was a lovely hostess. She and her husband greeted us as we drove up. They even called their nephew over to help with translation. Everything was fresh and clean, she had maps and things to do in the area .

The place is sweet and is suited very close to the highway which makes it a very good point for travelling around. The place is fully equipped including coffee maker. It also has some sweet extras like chocolate and home made jam (a lot of thanks, Claire!) The hosts, Claire -Dominique and her husband are very nice and helpful. We liked everything about the place! The bedding is perfect, brand new, large bed The studio and well laid out, everything is really clean. The view of Lake Gruyère and the great mountains In summer it must be even better with the garden. And I think it should be an ideal departure for foot tours. The house and view are really great. It was a welcome break for the family and close to so many great attractions including Broc (Cailler chocolate factory), Gruyeres and Le Moleson. The house is spacious with all the modern conveniences to make the stay enjoyable. A great house for a family and a perfect location to explore the hills above Lac Leman.

The house was modern, well furnished and equipped with every comfort, perfect for a family weekend. The setting was really beautiful, we admired the view from inside from the garden. We have not had the opportunity to meet our host in person but he has always responded quickly to our questions and made sure our stay was going well.

We stayed at this pace with three small children. All of us had a wonderful time. The house was modern, stylish, fully equipped, both for children and grownups, and enjoyable. In the terrace, sitting at the large wooden table, laying on the hammock or having a warm bath in the jacuzzi, delighted by the wonderfull view of the mountains, was very pleasant. The children had a great time in the playground.

Authentic accommodation recommended especially an address to keep as everything was perfect. Christine warmly welcomed us into his little corner of paradise. She gave us full of good plans and good ideas. The farm is beautiful and very well situated with a breathtaking view.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay in a cottage in the countryside with a beautiful view and walks opportunities. The presence of horses, goats, dogs, ... offers additional rural dimension. The cottage offers every comfort for an authentic stay.

We were very well received by Philippe and his girlfriend, they are very friendly. The rooms were clean and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was very good and the little time in the pool (albeit a bit cold) was neat. Would recommend, we will return willingly.

Wonderful holiday, perfect accommodation for a family with kids and equipped with every comfort. Mrs. Dominique, with his smile and his kindness is an available host and discreet. We had the honor of premiering the apartment. It is located on the top floor of the home of Dominique and Pierre (with separate entrance), so they were very close to any doubt. Very friendly and solicitous from the time of booking, we even called before confirming the reservation by phone to warn of a local party, if posed a problem for us. Well groomed and nice, rustic plan, you feel comfortable. new and well equipped kitchen, where we find the basics for cooking (oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, ..). Perfect, highly recommended.

Modern house, nice neighborhood, nice view (if the sky is clear!). Pleasant room. Cedric is responsive, accommodating about Hourly (arrival and departure), not complicated as to instructions. You feel free to do just as you please. His nephew is not very communicative (due to a disability) but it is a nice guy and endearing. The kitchen / living room was not clean / row but as an excuse, it is true that my booking was a little last minute and Cedric had little time to organize before I arrived. He preferred to see me 'as is' but to refuse my request, which I appreciate. However, I do not know if the cleaning fee was justified in this case! Anyway, overall, even included, I consider that it was a good price / quality ratio. Regarding access, a car is essential. Check the exact direction to follow if you do not have a GPS because the village / neighborhood is not well signposted! Count 25 minutes (by car) to get to Gruyères (factory cheese making, castle Tibétin Museum + Museum Giger = alien (s)) and a little more to go to Broc (pronounced Bro) where the Cailler museum located (a catch boobies in my opinion!). If you can, I suggest you go to these places through the other side of the lake, ie following Rossens, la Roche ... Another attractions in the area is the stained glass museum (Romont). Good visit !

Cedric and his nephew were wonderful hosts to us. Cedric's nephew was waiting for us to arrive and he patiently showed us around the huge and beautiful house, our room and the utilities. The private room itself was very cosy, the bed was super comfortable & soft and the view of the town of Fribourg from the window was excellent. To make the stay even more amazing and memorable, Cedric left us Swiss chocolates! (which was Delicious) It was so well maintained, neat & organized and the location was so good, that it felt like a top notch hotel room. A wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend!

A good and clean room, with a stunning view! The location was perfect, beautiful landscape, Swiss cows and enough to see in the surroundings. We came by car, and it was only 20 minutes to Bern, Gruyere cheese factory and Cailler chocolate factory (highly recommended, especially for those who love tasting loads of chocolate :) ). Cedric was very friendly and making all the effort to take care of us. We were very lucky to be there during a local festival in the forest, a very special experience!

Cedric's nephew was waiting for us to arrive. After arrival, we headed off straight for La Gruyeres. It's a nice local medieval town for Fribourg - good views. As the supermarts were not open on Sunday, we had dinner at the autostop where we saw views of the river and nearby mountains. His house is very secure. The rooms are spacious. Sitting outside gave us wide views of the landscape southwards. We wanted to know more about the residential area: The neighbourhood enjoyed their weekend very well. and there was no one around on Monday. Cedric is friendly and is glad to help whenever possible.

warm people, even language is deferent, but still can felt there r nice. Also this is a nice area in summer.

We were late arriving on a wet night and our GPS got us to the area but not to Cedric's street. One phone call and he drove down within a few minutes and escorted us to his hillside home. The room and the bathroom were excellent and it was really good to be able to wash clothes properly in washer and drier. We had full use of the kitchen, so could cook a meal and make excellent coffee. The view from Cedric's living room is superb and the district of La Gruyere is an ideal introduction to Swiss life yesterday and today. Mount Moleson and the castle visit were highlights. Cedric gave good advice on what to see and do.

Cedric was a great host, The house is in amazing natural place With lovely views and it's very modern and clean. We had a great privacy and with car did trips all over the Switzerland. There is a wifi in the home and also washing machine which is very handy. The bed is very comfortable and there really isn't anything to complain about. Thank you for the Chocolate;)

Provision of a bedroom and a spacious and very new bathroom. The host put us up the barbecue on the terrace for our first evening meal. Her house is located in a modern area and very quiet in the middle of the Swiss countryside and offers a soothing panoramic views. Too bad we could not spend more time talking with our host because of his schedule but has remained very accessible by email or phone. Our host showed good advice on tours to perform. Thank you for these nights relaxing and welcome chocolate.
