Cabin, one hour drive from Tromsø

3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. One bedroom on the ground floor(bed 120 cm). Two bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom 1: (both beds 90 cm). Bedroom 2: (one bed 150 cm, one 90 cm, one 75 cm). Floorheating in bathroom and living room. Any type of heating is included in the rent. The area under 'The Lyngen Alps' (Lyngsalpene) are popular both for winter and summer vacations. In the dark months in mid Winter you can view the 'Northern Lights' (Aurora Borealis). When the darkest Winter is changing in to longer days the skiers appears in the spectacular mountains surrounding the house. 
If you want to go skiing, you go outside, put on your skies and of you go. There is a restaurant/bar that have a seasonal opening hours. The local grocery store is 5 km away. In Winter the local husky farm can give you a sledgeride into the picturesque surroundings, or you can go horseback riding in the Summer. During the Summer you can try the good fishing opportunities in the area. Fishing in lakes, river, creeks and the fjord is very popular. You can even do this all day and night, due to the midnightsun. The international airport in Tromsø is just 70km away. The train station in Narvik is just above 2 hours drive away. There are local buses daily, except Saturdays. Finland is 1hr 45 min drive away, and Sweden is 3 hours drive away. This is a place to relax an spend time in nature. Perfect to just sit outside watching the Northern lights crossing the sky. The owners of the house live nearby, they speak English and some German. They will try to answer all of your questions as best they know how.

Cabin in Signaldalen

This beautiful cabin is located in a fantastic location if you are looking for peace and quiet, it is beautifully located with a beautiful view. The cabin is sheltered from the farm and along the Signaldalselven river, where there is a hiking trail of 3 km that starts from the cabin. Northern lights right outside the cabin. short distance to the high mountains for skiing/ice climbing/peak tours/hiking/hunting and Northern Lights experiences. The area the cabin is located in is a well-known place for northern light tourists and you can take nice pictures of the northern lights with Otertinden in the background.

House on Bakken

"Huset på Bakken" is located on the narrow strip of land between the sea and the mountains in Ullsfjorden. Here you can enjoy quiet days with the family or challenge yourself on short or long trips. From the house there is a nice view of the fjord and the mountains in all directions. There are several places with easy access to the Lyngsalpan landscape conservation area, with Jiehkkevárri (Jæggevarre) at 1834 m.a.s.l. as the highest peak. There are nice conditions to see the Northern Lights in winter because there are no street lights that disturb.

The cabin is located at the foot of the Lyngsalpene and has a perfect location for fresh mountain trips in winter and summer. Estimated driving time from Tromsø to Lakselvbukt is about 1 hour. The log cabin is cozy and has a wood burning stove. In addition, there is a large terrace. The associated annex is insulated and has electricity. Access for charging electric car. Wi-Fi both in the cabin and annex. Both wood-fired sauna and barbecue hut can be rented to guests. To get to the cabin you must enter the following on g maps: Landbakk.

Leiligheten ligger i et meget rolig boligfelt med umiddelbar nærhet til turstier, snøscooterløyper og opplevelsen av norsk natur. 5 minutter kjøring til nærmeste dagligvarehandel og drivstoff. 300 meter til snøscooterløyper. Gode turmuligheter sommer og vinter, både på ski og til fots. Har 4 sett truger og staver som kan leies! Gratis parkering til to biler ved leiligheten. Vi har små barn og en hund, så støy kan forekomme da vi bor i de øverste etasjene i eneboligen.

Large apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, good standard. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. It includes linens, towels, various soaps and possibility to wash clothes. The place is perfect for northern lights watching and nature experiences with proximity to the Lyngen alps. The site is located directly below the northern light belt with little light pollution, 50 minutes from Tromsø. It is recommended to rent a car and we offer a discount deal at Hertz.
