We loved this place. It's a super cozy small apartment that's really quiet and isolated. Perfect to relax after an exciting day in the city. The interior is absolutely beautiful and really thoughtful. The check in was quick and the host super helpful and nice. We got a lot of ideas what to do, where to eat and the free bikes were a perfect addition to get around. Can't wait to visit again

It is a really cute little house with a private entrance and little private terrace. It's really comfortable and cozy and you have everything you need to have a perfect stay. With the bikes that go with you're quickly everywhere you want to go and also the supermarket is close. We really recommend it. We stayed there in winter and we think it is just as good as in summer!

Sonja & Stef are really friendly and hospitable. A very cosy and cute place. The use of space is highly efficient and well-designed. In a night of storm Ciara, it could not be more wonderful to stay a small room like this with a fireplace. Hopefully, in the future I can visit again and enjoy riding the bike to the beach when the weather is good.

Beautiful place, close to the beach and city, especially with the bikes that go with it. Nice space, not super spacious but due to the layout very practical and cozy. In addition, very welcoming, helpful and plenty of tips about the area.

Nicoline & Nicolette's accommodation is very clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. You can find everything your heart desires. Highly recommended for a multi-day trip to Scheveningen! The apartment is less than 5 minutes from the beach and it is then a 10 minute stroll to the peer. We were in Den Haag Centrum one day. It's easy to get there by bus. Simply buy a day ticket for € 7.10 and off you go. It was super nice there. Communication with the two worked really well. All in all definitely recommendable.

We spent a cozy weekend in Scheveningen. The apartment is super nice and has many lovely details. The equipment was great and the proximity to the beach unbeatable.

The apartment is cozy, functional and filled with lovely details. We had everything we needed, even an extra blanket for the nights! Besides the fully equiped apartment with its perfect bathroom there are different possibilities of public transfer nearby and a short way to the beautiful beach. We made long walks and runs at the beach and had everything we needed - the nights were a bit stormy and loud, but Nicoline and Nicolette left some earplugs and therefore we could sleep completely well in the comfy bed with its queen-/kingsized sheets.

Cozy space in a very nice location!

Loved staying here, it was cozy and comfortable. Easy to navigate the trams around and into central. Walking distance to the beach/Scheveningen Pier, Madurodam and Holland Casino. We stayed a few nights and cooked our own dinners and the kitchen had plenty utensils and such to work with. Will book again when we find ourselves in The Hague again!

We've stayed for two nights at this apartment. It was very comfortable and we felt very well in it. The kitchen is well equipped. So we had everything that we needed to cook. And we actually did cook :) The only small downside was that the bed was a little bit uncomfortable.

Staying in this really stylish place was really nice. So close to the sea and not far to the center. We will be back.

What a nice place to spend the weekend. Atmospheric, super located, top communication, kitchen fully equipped. We were not bothered by the noise, but it was very light in the room in the evening.

The Appartement is next to the beach, clean and has marvellous equipment. It is highly recommendable.

We had a great time in this lovely apartment. It is warm, very cozy and the Details are beautiful. It s located a few minutes from the Beach by walk. The tram is in front of the apartment and in 15 Minuten you are in the City Center of den Haag. I would recommend this apartment for sure :-)

Good and cheap house, main and only problem is that we were at the higher room and the bathroom was at the lower level

Clean and simple place, great for anyone staying in Leiden for short or long term. Shower door is see through but I just draped a towel over it for more privacy.

Very convenient place and a fantastic host.

Ideally loated - 12 mins walk from Leiden Centraal, Centre and Supermarkets. Lovely view of windmills and canals as you walk to the house. Leiden is a good base to travel over to Noordwijk or Kaatwijk on the coast. Ralph was a superb Host - very welcoming, helpful & charming. Check In was easy. The house has all you need for a tourist stay and Wifi is fast. Its a quiet street but right in the heart of the city. I highly recommend this airbnb to those staying for a few days or even a week in Leiden. Thanks again to Ralpn and here's wishing him & his family all the very best in the future.

It turned out people, on the other hand, a historian, a teacher, it is very nice to talk with him. He knows the history of the city very well, and generally a very smart dude. I even conducted a quick tour of the nearby surroundings, as the place of stay is right in the center of all the good. In general, living on Rembranta Street is a normal topic, atmospheric, I recommend it.

Wonu is very friendly and communicative. I enjoyed being with her in the house. The room was perfect and the house was very cosy. It is very close to the city center. I had a great stay for two weeks and would recommend anyone to stay here.

Perfect location to travel both to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Leiden itself is a cute little place to walk around and explore. The house is a cute little cosy place. The living room is a beautifully personalised space full of art, books and music. Wonu is very kind and quickly responds to any queries. We made a great choice staying in her house for a few days :)

Very good location to visit Leiden and its surroundings. There is the possibility to park for free 500 m to the East. Restaurants nearby for the end of the day, otherwise the city center is 10 minutes walk. Wonu will welcome you to his home with warmth and kindness.

We chose Wonu's spot in Leiden because it ended up being more affordable than some of the hostels in Amsterdam, and we are so glad we did because Leiden is an absolute gem. It's got the right balance of quietness and activity. Wonu's spot is in a great location to walk or bike around and explore the city. Walking to the train station, which we did quite frequently, takes about 20 minutes. Wonu was great about providing travel tips and helping us plan for our train journeys to different cities. I will say that depending on how soft a surface you prefer to sleep on, the bed isn't the most comfortable for multiple nights in a row, but I'm sure the hostels wouldn't have been much better. Otherwise, Wonu was the perfect host. We weren't able to arrive for check in until about midnight, but she was very accommodating of this. During our stay we had plenty of privacy but we also had some great conversations with Wonu that helped give us some greater insight into life in the Netherlands. We had a wonderful time, and if you're looking for a simple base to explore an awesome city, I would highly recommend Wonu!

What a wonderful place! My boyfriend and I spent a night in the treehouse last week and really enjoyed this romantic retreat. Decorated very attractively and provided with everything. Wood to make a fire, coffee, extra blankets and even a jug was provided. The location is perfect, accessible by public transport, but far enough from the busy road. Marleen was very attentive and we also enjoyed the animals very much. The cat lay on our lap half the night. Absolute must and super good value for money.

I traveled to Leiden for professional reasons and enjoyed cycling everyday from/to Leiden university/Marleen’s Airbnb. I end up not sleeping at the hut but in the “nice, cozy appartment between Leiden and The Hague”. Marleen offered the comfortable appartment without asking for extra costs. This was due to the fact the temperature was quite low and it could be a problem for those sleeping in the hut. She was very kind and helpful. I would recommend others to stay there and take the time to enjoy the surroundings.

What a beautiful place to disappear from the daily hustle and bustle! Everything very well cared for and a beautifully decorated tree house. The candles and the campfire made it complete!

Marleen’s place is truly a gem. I was there with my son and he loved everything. But this place is for nature lovers and simple life amateurs. Marleen was very kind, true and helpful

The cottage was more spacious and warmer than I expected. We arrived in the dark so it was a bit of a search for the toilet and bathroom. Heater was already nice when we came in. We have not seen any hosts but we have had good contact via telephone and messages. Thanks for the stay!

Lovely, central place in Leiden, where Onno and Anne-Lize welcomed us very warmly and introduced us. My daughter (11) and I were there three days to visit the city and the museums and to read a bit quietly. Did an excellent job. The apartment is very nicely decorated which makes it appear larger and you can also easily relax after a day of walking around. Shops, cafes and the station are nearby (and we had found a very tasty Italian caterer where we could get our dinner). Recommended!

Anne-Lize and Onno’s place was wonderful. Excellent location, extremely clean, quiet, and a perfect home base to explore Leiden. Anne-Lize and Onno were helpful, friendly, and we are so thankful they shared their home with us.

The room is large and comfortable with space to hang clothes, private bathroom, tea...really everything you could need. I had a great stay and will definitely come back if in Leiden again. This is what airbnb means :-) In the middle of a residential area, and in house with a family with young children, lively atmosphere, friendly reception. I enjoyed sleeping a few nights here, working. Ursula welcomes you, the children are nice, polite, speak several languages. The room is very spacious and super clean. I worked on a desk every night. In the room was tea, soap, towels and fixed to the room the bathroom with bath. :-) When I am back in Leiden, I will definitely see if this nice family has a free room.

Peter and his girlfriend are very pleasant and hospitable people. As a guest I felt absolutely welcome, could always use the kitchen, the bathroom, etc. The bedroom is very cozy and yet spacious enough. Nice that there is also a hairdryer, shower gel etc. provided for if you have forgotten at home. I slept very well in this quiet place. Recommended!

Perfect for our two nights in the Netherlands! Was very easy to access Leiden from the Airport only about 6€ to ride the train. We also did a day trip to amsterdam, so easy (this place is ridiculously close to the station) for about 10€ each way. All of the restaurants we went to were very delicious. It is only a short walk from some very interesting parks and shops. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer, hosts were very welcoming and have a great place thank you for letting us stay with you!

A private room really close to the central railway station. The room does not have a locker. For us it was okay but maybe you want to know it. Everything fine overall!

A cozy house, beautiful view, back to basic as described, but that is exactly what we came for! Due to the enormous wind, we were unable to light a campfire, so we ate the marshmallows

We and our 2 doggies and 2 kitties had a wonderful stay at Marleen's little Hippie house right on the fields, with an overwhelming view in the morning and experiencing farm life in a very uncomplicated and lovely way! We were really "back to basic" in the paradise of Marleen. A place to relax in nature, with lots of privacy and a very hospitable host. Marleen has designed the houses very nicely and we even got a breakfast! We will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed staying at Bert's and Marieke's beautiful place. The apartment is perfectly located and the view from the living room is wonderful. Cosy and stylish interior, a very comfy bed, spotless clean and perfectly equipped. Bert and Marieke provided us some basic stuff for breakfast (milk, bread, water, juice and even some beer) which we appreciated very much. Communication was quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Leiden.

Stylish place to stay in Leiden. Everything you need. 25 min walk into town and similar to the university campus. Justyna was great and very welcoming, and I wish I had more time to explore all the places she recommended. Would happily stay at the Black Tulip again.

We stayed to celebrate New Year's Eve there in Amsterdam, instead of going to the city to suffer the burdens of that day, we did not stay in this lovely studio for dinner and then we saw the fireworks that launched all the neighboring houses. Awesome!

This is an extension to a house, with its own entrance. So lots of privacy. It is located in a quiet neighborhood where there is still parking space. We felt safe there. Train and plane were occasionally heard, but certainly not disturbing. The bed and the sofa bed are of good quality, so sleeping is no problem. Everything needed for a few days is present: sitting room, bedroom, kitchen, shower. It is just a bit too far from the center to walk, but since we were able to use two bicycles that was no problem at all. Leiden Center can be reached in 10 minutes.

The stay at Justyna's Airbnb was Very nice! She is Very Kind and welcomed us friendly with advice for Leiden! The furniture was completely new and elegant. We would highly recommend to stay at Justyna's place for a great time in Leiden! :)

Great place to stay if you are thinking of Leiden as the base to explore rest of the country. Justina's place is 7-10 mins by bike to the center and she gives bikes for guests. Walking to the center would be 20-25 mins. Our stay was perfect, bed was comfy, kitchen was well equipped, we had complete privacy and there is free parking on the street. Very peaceful neighborhood and there is a canal literally on the opposite side of the street. Leiden is beautiful and would recommend others to keep Leiden as base rather than staying in bigger cities.

The Hause is nice and small typical Dutch in a nice area of Leiden close to a Supermarket. The personal check Inn was really convenient. A highlit was the Terrace . If you are OK with cats I can recomand the staying at thice nice place.

What a great place and an amazing host! Xichen is the kindness in person and her taste for the design is elegantly modern and incredibly cozy. The kitty runs away all the time, shy and very sweet! The 'garden' in the back is a little precious pearl; so luckily I found this place, I am really considering going back if I will have a chance!

Highly recommended! The location is perfect for exploring Leiden, we received many tips for nice places to eat and activities. André and Rianne were great landlords to communicate with. The rooms were very clean and stylishly decorated with lots of greenery. In the bedroom in particular, the houseplants created an almost fairy-tale atmosphere. There are fairly steep stairs between the living and sleeping areas, but this gets used very quickly.

We were warmly welcomed in the beautiful building of André, in perfect location in the center of Leiden, while still quiet. The building is very cozy and André and Rianne give nice individual tips. We would love to sleep there again!

Staying with Luc is very enjoyable. We had a lot of chatting and I wish I could stayed longer, nice bed room with super nice bath tab and great view outside of the balcony. Leiden is beautiful actually prettier than Amsterdam. Martjin is very but very freight we were very lucky to have a host like him that gave us all kind of tips and we actually ended up doing all that he suggested. Martijn was super friendly from the beginning, he responded very quickly if we had any questions, the rooms were super clean and comfortable. We really loved to stay there. He also thought about little gifts like a wine bottle. We really recommend this accommodation if you look for something comfortable but also stylish. :)

Martijn was very communicative, the place was sparkling clean, arrangements were well thought out. There is a lovely bakery around the corner and a takeaway place for quick bites the next block over.

The place is charming! Perfect for up to three people. It was immaculate - VERY CLEAN - and very cozy. Nice touches throughout and Andreas (host) responded immediately to a simple question. It's a quick walk from the train and there are markets close by. You can walk throughout Leiden to shop, dine, visit museums and more. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague are just train rides away. Andreas' place was right in the middle of a gorgeous little town. Quiet and peaceful. And perfect! I loved my stay and will be recommending to everyone! Thank you, Andreas!

I definitely recommend this place! Very good communication with the host, I loved the position of the house because I needed to stay near the hospital and the train station, and it was also very close to the center. The house is clean, you can find everything you need for you staying. Andreas left maps of the city , suggestions and instruction very well detailed. There are supermarkets 5 minutes walking and the street is very nice and quiet. Really a lovely place, you will feel like at home!

Andreas’s place is really a pleasant place to stay! It’s only 5-7 minutes walking from train station and near to the city center. The apartment is clean and it has spacious lounge for dining and watching TV. The kitchen is small but well equipped with utensils and many ingredients in the cupboard. The bathroom is nice with bathtub and still have space for a washing machine. The mattress is a bit soft, not too good for my husband who has sensitive back but he could use sofa that more comfortable for him. Andreas is a nice host; he is cooperative and amicable. Our communication was good therefore the check in and check out process ran smoothly. He put a written instruction so that we know how to behave in his place. If we have opportunity to visit Leiden again, we would like to come back to Andreas’s place definitely.

Andreas' house is ideally located. 5 minutes walk from the train station and the historic center. There are also shops and bike rental agencies within the same perimeter. Inside, a cozy atmosphere with many accessories that will make your stay very pleasant.

Bart's place in Leiden was a wonderful experience for our family! It is a charming place, centrally located in the heart of Leiden, with gorgeous views of the city. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there's a great outdoor market just outside the apartment. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops within steps of the apartment, and everything can be done on foot very easily. It is on the second floor, and the stairs are a bit steep, so it could be a problem for those with accessibility difficulties. The host answered all of our questions in a timely manner, and check-in/check-out couldn't have been easier. Thanks for a great stay! We hope to be back soon.

Perfect location in the middle of the old town with view on the main gracht, wonderful interiour. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

This is a fantastic apartment, very stylish, comfortable and spacious. Plus it is in an amazing location right in the centre of Leiden. Check in was easy, we just collected the keys from a local hotel which was on the way to the apartment from the train station so it was convenient. I would stay again! The only small thing to note is that the kitchen is not very well equipped so it is not easy to cook there. But there are lots of nice cafes and restaurants locally!

The space is adorable and has all the amenities you could need during a trip to The Netherlands. I was staying while waiting for student accommodation to become available at my school and I was almost sad to leave for my new place.

We had a lovely stay in Leiden. It is a very beautiful city and the house is located near the centre. Dirk and El Choque were on had when we needed them. The fire was lovely.

Dirk’s place was great! It was in such a wonderful neighborhood. We enjoyed many restaurants in the area and shopped in the many art and style boutiques. The movies were nice at the end of the day when we wanted to relax. It was also very quiet inside and hard to believe you are right in the middle of a busy neighborhood. Would definitely stay at Dirk’s again if we went back.

Ruth, Simon and their sons Luke and Samuel are very hospitable and very nice. The room is spacious, fully equipped and super clean. The breakfasts of Ruth are delicious! With the bike that you can borrow from Ruth and Simon, you can easily reach the center of Leiden. Highly recommended!

Simon is a very, very good host. He welcomed me and explained everything to me in great detail and everything was provided. I’m very happy to have stayed at this place! The bed is super comfy and the morning breakfast was truly delightful. If you’re going for a short stay in Leiden, I would highly suggest staying here because the service is outstanding. The bus stop is extremely close to the house which I found very convenient!

Great place, Ruth and Simon are fantastic hosts.

This is the second time I have visited Ruth and Simon. Those are wonderful and very intentioned hosts. Their house is located in a very quiet residential area and very close to a park where you can take beautiful walks when the sun deigns to come out. I definitely recommend this accommodation.

Eitan’s home was a lovely place to stay with all the facilities and amenities that we could want, and lovely and clean. Leiden is also a beautiful city to explore and Amsterdam is very accessible from here.

You will find a beautiful little house with nice family touches. The host is great and has laid out instructions how to make good use of the house while staying there. clean

Eitan and his friend Ira were very accommodating. We had a lovely few nights stay and everything we needed was supplied. Can't recommend it enough !

Eitan's house is really great! Living in it is like living in your own home. The house is large and has a small private garden. The facilities are all there, there is a good kitchen to use, and the bed is very comfortable to sleep. If there is still a chance, I must stay a few more days! Strongly recommend this listing!

Gaby is the true super host! She really looks after you and goes the extra mile! Gaby even prepares breakfast for her guests. She prepared a delicious breakfast for me. Gaby is very flexible and accommodating with the time of the breakfast and check-in. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated by Gaby and full of character. My room was sparkling clean and very cosy. I truly enjoyed my stay. Just one regret - I didn't spent enough time there. I can absolutely recommend staying with Gaby!

Gaby is a wonderfully kind and knowledgeable host. We had many inspiring conversations about common interests, and felt we were being treated us like friends rather than mere paying guests. The free roadside parking just outside was an added bonus, and it is an easy walk to the city centre. We mostly chose the side road, since we like wandering along the canals. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfy bed, cute furnishings, very clean, quiet, warm (I was there in January when it was very cold outside), with a kind host. The only thing I didn't expect was the very steep spiral staircase, but I'm very out of shape and 50+ so if I can do it, probably any able bodied person can do it. The delicious, huge-variety breakfast and the view onto the garden during breakfast were probably the highlights of my stay. The bathroom is shared but Gaby was very accommodating in that regard, so I never felt like I was intruding on her space or she on mine.

Everything is fine, but it's very small square room, when the bed is open, u don't have chance to move, but it's cozy, warm, and nice place in great location. 0.3 mil to shops and train station.

Perfect location very near the city center

Nice spacious apartment on the edge of the center. In Leiden everything is within walking distance of the apartment, so centrally located and yet quiet. There is a large bathtub and the rooms are spacious. The contact with Lize went well and we could easily coordinate the arrival and departure with our wishes. Certainly recommended to others.
