Places to stay in Limpinwood
The Cabin is a converted shipping container with a double bed, kitchenette, shower and toilet. Heater and Air conditioner TV and DVD Under cover BBQ. Stunning valley views of the border ranges and farmland. Birds abound and wallabies hop by. Please Note: We are not a short distance from Lamington National Park - that is at least a 2 1/2 hour drive away. We are about a 30 minute drive from Mt Warning, Natural Bridge, Mebbin National Parks and 45 minutes from Springbrook National Park.
Limpinwood Valley is a beautiful part of the world, surrounded on 3 sides by the border ranges and Mount Warning (Wollumbin) on the other. We have 2 villages (Chillingham & Tyalgum) about a 10 minute drive away and still only 40 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport and beaches. We do not have easy access to hiking trails but we do have a pleasant pastoral walk. We are a NON smoking environment.
In the village of Tyalgum there are some very interesting shops and a lovely cafe 'Flutterbies'. Well worth checking out. Chillingham, another close village, has Bucks Barn with Australian Bush Tucker. Friday night is pizza and music night at the back of Flutterbies cafe in Tyalgum. There is no late night shopping in our villages so, if you need supplies you will need to be there before 5 p.m. or stop at Nerang or Murwillumbah on your way here.
  • Had such a great weekend at Noeline's airbnb. A real country escape, can easily forget your conveniniently only 45 minutes from the gold coast. Noeline and her husband were great, very welcoming and friendly hosts. Will definately be back!

  • Noeline and Russell’s beautiful cabin is located in a breath-taking location with the most amazing mountain views, surrounded by bird life and wallabies. The cabin is super comfy and has everything you need including a bbq to cook outside and a beautiful, private deck. We had the best time in the 10 days we spent here and enjoyed trips in the surrounding area. There’s lots to explore such as cute towns with cafes, beautiful hikes and rivers close by and the beach is not too far either. Noeline & Russell are the most lovely hosts, very thoughtful and helpful. We loved our time here, highly recommend staying to anyone and are sure to be back. Thank you Noeline & Russell!

  • The place is amazingly beautiful, the facilities perfect, all little details thought of by the lovely hosts, Noeline and Russell. And the wallabies and birds made it even more special.

  • What a magical place, from start to finish Sharon is an amazing host. Highly recommended

    Danielle2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon is very hospitable and friendly, together with her husband they have so many interesting hobbies from growing plants, paintings, tea towels, boulder rocks just to name a few! Be sure to ask them about it. The cottage is clean and cute, and very private, no neighbours and the hosts leave you to your self to relax. The surroundings are spectacular! With mountains surrounding you at every turn. The little creek to swim in is divine and the cows next door are cute. It was a relaxing stay and I definitely will come back!

  • Property was fine for our overnight stay.

    John2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet.. if the Australian country bush ever is. Bird song, cicadas, cows bellowing in the fields around. The cottage has everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. The hosts are amazingly welcoming. Ask about the incredible artwork, tea towels, thunder eggs etc. that these two busy people have as part of their lives. And the property plantings and working nursery are just extraordinary. Well worth a visit and we are looking forward to making time for a revisit.

    Kate2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful 4 nights and found the house and location extremely relaxing. Walking up the fence line to the top of the hill late afternoon is magic as you can see the mountains clearly. Listening to the birds on the balcony was great too. Nice drives around the whole area too with great scenery.

  • My partner and I had a sweet escape at the Red Shed. Can’t think of a better place to kick off our holiday. Incredibly stunning views with lovely cows as our neighbours. Fresh breeze through out the day to keep us cool. Words are not enough to describe how wonderful this place is. We spent hours inside the barn just relaxing, chatting and playing games, and also wandering around to explore the valley. The village nearby, Tyalgum, has a great Gelato shop that opens during weekends. Two minutes drive away there is a lookout with spectacular scenery. Too many good memories there. We took lots of photos with great smiles in them. Jen and Darren are caring, thoughtful and simply awesome. We definitely wanna come back in the future.

  • The Alpine Cabin was the perfect place to rest and getaway from the world. It was quiet and secluded. Barry was a gracious and welcoming host. The Garden Kitchen has everything you need to cook (pots and pans, kettle, Stovetop etc). We didn't see a furry friend the Koala but we did have a visit from a Goanna! Haha. 8min drive from Mt Warning carpark, bring swimmers and jump in the river to cool off- what more could you need :)

  • Lovely place to stay right in the rainforest. Hosts are so friendly and welcoming! Would definitely stay again. 5 mins to uki which has a fantastic pub for tea and also so close to the foot of mount warning for rainforests walks.

  • What a wonderful time we have had at Laura’s place! So peaceful, cozy, quiet and just beautiful... If you’re craving some time to just stop, take a deep breath, reflect and be in the moment - this is the place to go, you won’t be disappointed. Amazing!

  • Lovely place and lovely people. Laura and Malcolm's place is quiet, private and very comfortable. And did I mention the view of Wollumbin!! It is fantastic and our hosts made us feel that we could go and sit on their viewing deck anytime. The swimming pool was also very good = it is just next to their house. Laura provides many thoughtful touches and generous supplies for breakfast including muesli, eggs, bacon and crossiants. We also enjoyed the nearby town of Uki especially the coffee at the Post Office and were given a guided tour of the coffee roasting process and pink coffee grinder by owner Gary. The other thing we loved was our lunch at the nearby Rainforest Cafe. Both of these places were suggested by Laura. Thank you Laura and Malcolm for your kind hospitality and we hope to see you again.

  • Laura's cottage is located in a beautiful area of southern QLD. A comfortable and spacious private space that is easy to find. Close to amenities yet rural enough for peace and quiet as well as bird life and wildlife. Loved it!

  • Expect the unexpected! Spectacular views, fantastic hospitality, amazing pool, breakfast treats provided, local knowledge shared, super clean facilities, lots of books, easy access to other towns and attractions eg Tweed Regional Gallery and last but not least, we mastered the walk up Mt Warning but not the microwave. Would go back in a heart beat!

  • Wow! We were really thrilled when we reached the accommodation of Kathryn and her family. The view is breathtaking and through the many large windows the view from the apartment is perfect. It is very quiet and relaxing. Kathryn and her family have created a wonderful place there. Unfortunately we were only there for one night. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was very clean. The bed is very comfortable.

  • We absolutely loved staying at this Airbnb. It’s really exceeded our expectations on every level. Lovely, clean little cottage surrounded with lush rainforest. Close to shops, beach and hikes. My favourite part of our stay was relaxing listening to the rain, crickets and birds whilst drinking tea and a reading book in the tub.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is very clean, comfortable and very stylishly furnished. The sounds of the river flowing and birds are really refreshing. Perfect place to get away from the city and immerse in nature for a bit. We didn't get in the water, and weren't sure if it was OK to swim in but you are 5 minutes away from Currumbin Rockpools and Cougal Falls, which are amazing. Beautiful 30 minute drive from the beach too. The spa bath is really nice. No phone reception at the cabin but strong WiFi.

The Yogi's Hut is a much loved off-grid earth studio, and home-away-from-home for our mother, grandmother and the family Yoga teacher, Carolyn. It is light-filled, simple, and peaceful. We are thrilled to share the hut with travellers and guests who enjoy rustic comfort, quiet bush ambience and eco-conscious living. The hut is located on a larger shared property but is completely private. It is located 5 minutes by road from the thriving alternative village of Nimbin.
The Yogi's Hut is a large, light-filled, one-room studio space, with an extra large partially covered deck for you to practice yoga or meditate in the morning sun. The hut is charming and comfortable with simple eco-amenties. To really enjoy your time here, you must be prepared to embrace rustic pleasures like an outside composting toilet, lighting a fire for warmth, and thoughtful use of the off-grid solar system. There is limited mobile coverage ( 1-2 bars Telstra/Optus outside on the deck) and no internet/ Wi-Fi in the hut. The hut is equipped with a fridge, toaster, and electric lights. We have a petrol-powered generator for back-up power on rainy days. In summer the high ceilings, earth floor and fans help the dwelling stay cool, and in winter the morning sun warms the space beautifully. We have a four-burner gas cooker, a small camping oven, and gas-fired hot water. The toilet is a composting toilet seperate from the main dwelling and the shower room is attached to the deck, meaning it cannot be accessed internally. We have provided warm robes for you to travel to and from the shower. The Yogi's Hut is best suited to a single traveller or couple, however, the built in lounge/daybed can be comfortably converted into x 2 single sleeping spaces for up to 2 more guests if needed.
The hut is located in a rural, sparsely populated area, but is only 5 minutes by road from amenties in the village of Nimbin. The Stony Chute valley is incredibly beautiful, and is always alive with birdsong. We see echindnas, wallabies, blue-tounge lizards, and goannas on the property. If you get up early we can show you where you are almost guaranteed to see our resident wallabies. Nimbin is a truly special place and has great food and farmers markets.
  • Me and my partner had a beautiful weekend away at the yogi’s hut. It was raining for the most part which was a great excuse to stay in and enjoy the space. The place has a real cosy feel and lots of character. Was really tough to leave! Pheobe was a wonderful host and very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area! Thanks pheobe :)

Have a bush experience in 'The TreeHouse'. Located in the scenic Tweed hinterland, close to quiet surf beaches and the resort towns of Pottsville, Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay. Parklands venue is also only minutes away. Open to the air and up in the trees with the birds, and at times, carpet snakes and possums. Private studio room, with double bed, basic kitchen, wash area, porta loo, cold shower (outside), desk and sitting area. Deluxe continental breakfast included.
There is nothing else like it. It's like glamping and and will suit those wanting a bit of an adventure. You are up with the trees and open-aired, yet cosy and safe and sound, away from any creepy crawlies on the ground. In summer it is cool and shaded and breezey. In winter the sun slants in through the trees all through the space, making it soft and warm and a perfect place to doze and relax in the sun. The shower is cold so you may want to have a hot bucket bath in the wash area with the ceramic oscillating tower heater blowing against you keeping you warm. And the bed is snuggly warm with an electric blanket. It is so lovely being in that space, and at night it comes alive with nocturnal wildlife. Using the spotlight you can look straight out onto possums feeding and squabbling amongst themselves, and gorgeous sugar gliders in the moonlight, leaping and gliding from tree to tree. You will hear dingos calling around the full moon when the night sky is high and bright. During the day the only sounds are birds and the breeze and distant tractors. Wedgetail eagles live and nest on our hill, as do so many other birds. There are wallabies, monitors, echidnas and so many frog species. There are beautiful sunset views across the hills and storms are really exciting. So much to see and hear and experience. We like to make our guests feel special, so we provide you with a complementary welcome drink (beer, champagne, red wine or cider....you choose) and nibblies and/or chocs, a beautiful and huge! deluxe continental breakfast, and locally made organic toiletries. We are also collecting an assortment of games and puzzles.
Crabbes Creek is a beautiful rural area. It is centrally located to unpatrolled quiet beaches and great resort towns of Pottsville, Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads. Our General Store/Bottle Shop is only 5mins away and can provide all your grocery needs. Parklands venue is only 8mins away. Or you can stay in the TreeHouse and relax and read, paint, sleeping is wonderful up there! or go for bush walks or borrow one of our bikes and go for a cycle down beautiful Crabbes Creek Rd to the waterhole for a swim. We can also tell you about all the birds and wildlife and what to look out for.

    Jacob2018-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • David runs a very unique open concept accommodation. If you want to get away from it all and stay at a secluded accommodation, this one is for you! Would come back again!

  • When we arrived at the tree house we were a little disappointed, but that only lasted a couple of minutes. On the outside you can’t notice how nice it is inside! And it was certainly a magical experience to spend a night there. In addition, all the details left by their owners are appreciated.

    Daniella2018-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • It's an amazing experience who want to escape to nature! I would recommend this to everyone I know we'll be back!

  • The tree house is secluded and absolutely relaxing. Great views out into the trees and a very comfortable space, with many thoughtful touches, including a nice selection of breakfast foods. David is a very welcoming host and I highly recommend his off-grid getaway.

  • Amazing little cabin perfect for a quiet getaway. Super easy to find and love the privacy. Nothing better than having drinks and chilling in the spa. We were there over a rainy weekend but it made it even better to sit in a hot spa watching the rain. Our doggo also absolutely love the freedom to run around. I love that they thought to put in fencing so we could sit in the spa and watch our little doggo play safely. Only wish we had spent more than 1 night.

The views are absolutely stunning with a sunset drink in the spa a must. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cameron’s place and will definitely be back in future. Highly recommend.

Ridge Cottage is a hand built stone and timber house in a natural private setting, surrounded by Lamington National Park. A perfect spot to get away from it all. Inside, the upper level is a kitchen and dining area, while the sunken open plan living area includes lounges, a fireplace and a queen bed with a loft above that has a single bed. There are also two verandahs with outdoor settings. The shower and composting toilet are in a separate room on the verandah, just outside the loungeroom door.
Enchanting, tranquil, magical, quirky, surreal, stunning, incredible. Just a few words used by recent guests to describe the cottage. Perfect for a quiet retreat, observing the natural landscape and wildlife, photography, meditation or just purely a getaway in a beautiful environment. You are truly in a world of your own, as there are no neighbours. Your stay includes all linen and towels, bathroom soap, shampoo and tea and coffee. The cottage is in a private setting and is literally surrounded by Lamington National Park. Please note that the walking tracks are closed in the Binna Burra section of Lamington until further notice, due to ongoing roadworks. Many guests discover there is no need to go anywhere as the charm of the natural and private setting soon takes hold. There are many areas to explore nearby and you can still access the western side of Lamington by taking a scenic day trip to O'reillys. Your hosts live in the main house at the property entrance and you access the cottage via your own private driveway. There is strictly no smoking in the cottage and because the building is on the edge of Lamington National Park, no pets are allowed. Ridge Cottage Facilities Queen Bed (linen included) Single mattress (spare bed in loft, linen included on request) 4 seat dining table Large Fridge with freezer Gas oven, grill and 4 burner stove Cooking/eating utensils Tea, coffee and sugar plus basic cooking essentials – olive oil, salt and pepper. 2 seater lounge 3 seater lounge Wood burning fireplace (firewood included from April to September) Oil heater Fan Bedside tables with drawers and lamps 1 tallboy closest with shelves Composting toilet Shower (towels/liquid soap/shampoo provided) Tv Stereo - CD player, radio, Bluetooth 2 Outdoor dining settings Outdoor barbeque Outdoor hammock Lamington National Park. Please note that due to recent fires, the Binna Burra entrance to Lamington is currently closed, but you can still experience the many walks available in the park by driving to O'Reillys to experience the western side of Lamington. Scenic areas close by. The cottage is located on the beautiful Beechmont plateau, where you can book a horse ride or massage or spend a morning enjoying the spectacular mountain views. The Old Headmasters Cafe and Flying Bean cafe are great spots for breakfast or lunch. You can even book a tandem hang gliding or paragliding flight when conditions are right, to see this amazing landscape from the air. Mt Tamborine is a 40min drive north from the cottage, where you can choose from several short walks in the National park areas or explore the many galleries, cafes and shops on Gallery Walk. There is also a treetop walk and wineries. Canungra is the nearest town, just a 20min drive, on the way to Mt Tamborine. It is a lovely country town which features several cafes, an art gallery and book shop and the Canungra Hotel. This is also the closest town for petrol and a supermarket. Springbrook is the next mountain east of Beechmont and has a number of walks to choose from including Purlingbrook Falls and the short walk to Best of All Lookout, which is 1000m above sea level. Dave Groom Studio Gallery. All of the artwork in the Cottage is by your host, local landscape artist, Dave Groom. Adjacent to Ridge Cottage is the Dave Groom Studio Gallery, which is open to the public. The Gallery is generally open between 10am – 4pm. There will be a sign on the wall at the end of the Gallery telling you whether it is open. Please feel free to visit during opening hours, or contact Dave to arrange a time to visit.
The unique feature of the Ridge Cottage is its private location on the edge of Lamington National Park. Back down the road is the rural settlement of Beechmont, once a large dairy farming community, it is now a scenic landscape of varied farmland. While there are no shops on Beechmont there is a cafe at the Old School sight, as well as the Flying Bean Cafe at Rosins Lookout. This is also a popular hangliding launch sight and a spectacular spot for views into Numinbah Valley and over the border into NSW towards the ancient extinct shield volcano, Wollumbin.
  • Ridge Cottage is the perfect place to get away to write or draw or paint or reconnect with nature.

Dave is a great host, here at check in and check out and in between if needed. The bottle of pinot noir was a much appreciated touch!

  • My partner and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at this magical and enchanting self-built cottage. The privacy of the cottage promotes a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. We enjoyed a massage - recommended by Dave (Bliss Massage Beechmont) - in front of the fire place while the rain teemed down! Pack your slippers and warm clothes because you won’t want to leave The Ridge Cottage!!

  • Jenny was friendly, hospitable and took time out to make us feel at home and give us a tour of the farm. We had a lovely time and miss the animals already! Our room was also super clean and cosy.

  • Beautiful farm fueled by Jenny and Davids’ love for animals. Wonderful getaway for us city folks. Great hospitality!

    Jaime2019-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • As soon as you arrive at jennys Farm you get greater by a host of sweet friendly animals, chickens, ducks, goats, dogs, cats who all seem to get on well with each other! You get the chance to go around feeding them all with jenny, which my grandson particularly loved. The room we had was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, with lots of yummy things in fridge for breakfast. Jenny and David took us out and about with them which was great as we didn't have transport and they were great company! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in a peaceful, beautiful setting with the added interest of all the lovely animals 😊

  • Very picturesque! A great place to unwind and get back to basics. Loved the hot water shower. It really felt like 5 x star camping. Michelle is so lovely and super helpful. Really enjoyed having a wine on the deck overlooking the creek and watching the sun go down over the mountains. Also loved that it’s dog friendly too. Will be back. :)

  • Beautiful getaway spot. Super private and very comfortable bed.

    Laknuwan2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • I have nothing bad to say about the charming little hut. The nature around the property is beautiful and there are great views right from the deck. The compostable toilet is kept very clean. The battery powered fairy lights and lamp in the hut give ample light for reading and playing cards. It’s so nice to say somewhere a little more remote and with no power, it really helps you disconnect. Cheers, Hannah

I love nature (outside) so be reassured this home is fully screened so no creepy crawlies ....Winter days and nights are cosy with reverse cycle or gas heating and for slight humidity the dry cycle on the air con works wonders ,or just select the coolness cycle and leave on. Overnights tend to be quite cool all year round.
Peaceful ,quiet and a very serene environment atop of the Gondwana Rainforest. Cooler all year round by up to 10 degrees. If your into bird watching (binoculars supplied) , hiking or looking for Flora , Fauna or Fungi this is your place or just to relax and unwind. Winter is cooler so warm clothes needed and raincoats during the summer months although I do supply the latter.

  • Julie's place is beautiful. It was stocked with so many extras from food, teas, coffees to toothpastes, ponchos and slippers. If you are visiting to hike, the location is perfect! It was less than a 5 minute walk and we were at the beginning to so many amazing waterfalls! Her place was so roomy and comfortable and had everything we needed!

  • What a beautiful place, nestled in the rainforest! Super clean, comfortable and cosy, with all the extra little touches that made this place a pleasure to stay in! A fabulous location, just minutes away from spectacular lookouts and walking tracks, the place had everything I needed, plus a little extra. Communication with Julie was great - messages were answered promptly information was clear both on this site and in the space itself. I highly recommend Julie's space and have already passed details on to others about this little treasure <3

It has 2 comfy king single beds, a single bed in a separate room, kitchenette, large bathroom, laundry basin, ample wardrobe storage, sofa, dining table, tv with dvds (there is no reception). We have identified more than 85 bird species on the property, including yellow-tailed black cockatoos. There are several species of frogs, dragon flies, and butterflies. The dam is home to saw-shell turtles, eels, water dragons and other reptiles. Mammals include platypus, bandicoots and red-necked wallabies, flying foxes and micro bats. Get away from it all and relax in a beautiful off-grid Eco Cottage on 38 acres. Experience the peace and beauty of a unique and ecologically sustainable Australian sub-tropical environment. Two distinct cottages make up the one residence at 'Uralba Eco Cottages'. One is occupied by your hosts, the other 'Kookaburra Cottage'. Both are separated by a breezeway, but each living space is designed to ensure the total privacy of its occupants. National and International Ecotourism Certification
With separate car parking and a disability access ramp, Kookaburra Cottage comprises one bedroom with queen bed, private bathroom, open-plan living area with lounge, dining area, and a large private verandah overlooking beautiful gardens. The verandah has its own vertical garden room and a calming water feature. This property is self-catering; with private BBQ, a small portable gas oven, fridge and kitchenette stocked with everything you will need such as crockery, cutlery, locally sourced tea and coffee etc. (Please note there is NO microwave). Organic towels and pillows, luxury linen and environmentally friendly bathroom supplies are provided, along with many added extras to make your stay with us all that more comfortable. The cottages run on 240v solar power entirely off-grid. Hot water comes from a separate solar system. There is a back-up generator and a LPG gas instantaneous hot water system (if needed). Filtered rainwater is gravity-fed to the cottages. Our Worm Waste Management system provides an environmentally sustainable solution for wastewater, sewerage and organic waste. The buildings were designed to maximise airflow and comfort while reducing the carbon footprint. Much of the timber used in construction of the cottages has been sourced directly from the property and/or recycled materials. We use renewable and recyclable products where possible, provide recycling bins and compost all food waste on site. The garden’s general design principles are based on permaculture and the whole property is organic (chemical free). There are plenty of things to do at Uralba. Relax on one of the comfy couches or in the hammock with a book, why not play a board game in the garden or become creative with some artwork? Enjoy the birds (over 100 documented species), butterflies, frogs and a variety of native animals such as wallabies, koalas and goannas.
Located in the foothills of the McPherson Range, we are surrounded by three World Heritage Listed National Parks (Border Ranges, Wollumbin and Nightcap Range), all within a short driving distance. You can take a walk, take a picnic, see beautiful views and sites of cultural and historical significance, or take a swim (there's a beautiful swimming hole and waterfall about 20 mins away). We are situated 15 km (approx 20 mins) from Kyogle which is a thriving country town with plenty of eating options. There are a number of Tourist Drives around the Kyogle area - from half to full day options. Nth NSW is renowned for its colourful local markets, country shows and festivals, not to mention quaint country towns and villages. • We had a relaxing and amazing time at Julie and Ricky's place. They're extremely hospitable and welcoming to their beautiful part of the world. Their concern and preservation of nature is inspiring and made easy. It's a beautiful spot to go for walks or go for a swim in the swimming holes. Just keep your eyes peeled for all the koalas! The space is very nice and has all you need, everything has been carefully thought out and provided. Definitely recommend

Cozy room with two single beds. Opens into the main living room, and another door that opens out onto a long verandah that catches the morning sun. The main bathroom opens onto this verandah and the entrance to the kitchen.
A short two minute walk to the centre of Nimbin with the hotel and its restaurant, and numerous cafes, restaurants, and a small supermarket. Just across the road from the Bowling Club with its own restaurant and an entertainment venue.
  • Warwick and Mari were very welcoming and accepting hosts. We were lucky enough to eat some delicious food prepared by Mari from her home country of El Salvador. Mari makes a mean breakfast and is very passionate about her organic produce that she grows herself in the gardens they have. We were very well looked after and it's such great value to be so close to the middle of town, just a couple hundred metres to the main street with shops and cafes. Such lovely people and wonderful hospitality.

We invite you to experience our beautiful 10 acre property in the heart of the Tweed Valley. The mountain views are spectacular and the sunrises and sunsets to die for. We are just 15kms from the beautiful deserted beaches of Cabarita, 20 mins from Coolangatta airport, 5 mins from the township of Murwillumbah and less than a hour from Surfers Paradise. The property is bordered by cane fields and a creek. Our centre piece is a beautiful lake with a bridge to an island dotted with palm trees.
This is an EXCLUSIVE camp site. We only ever take one booking at a time, for between 2 and 6 people.....our focus is on PRIVACY!! The price includes your luxury tent accommodation including all linens and towels and all the activities you can do on the property (about 5 acres). This includes canoeing on the lake, outdoor movies, star gazing using our telescope, access to our dedicated guest barn to play ping pong, darts etc. The barn also houses the kitchen for you to cook your meals. The luxurious beds are fitted with electric blankets in winter and the tent has fans for those hotter summer days. It also includes firewood for your campfire, plenty enough for one night. You can collect more from the property if you need it. We are also pet friendly, in fact we encourage you to bring your fur baby. This is quite literally doggie heaven! Please be respectful of our luxurious beds and not allow your pets to jump on them. A caution...the property is unfenced, but not near any roads. We are ordered by cane fields and a creek. There is plenty of space for your fur babies to roam and explore. If you want to arrive with just your toothbrush then for an extra $50 per person we will provide you with all the ingredients to cook your BBQ dinner, including dessert and a bottle of wine and your farm style breakfast. We source our ingredients locally when possible (some of them from right here on the property). Vegetarian and vegan meals can also be provided with prior notice. Please add $5 per person for a vegan menu. The kitchen facilities, including a fridge, are under cover in our large barn. Decorated farm style with hay bales and lots of fairy lights and a 4m ceiling it is a fun space to cook, play music whilst having a game of ping pong or just chill out on our luxurious comfortable day bed. It also serves as a great shelter if the weather turns inclement. You can also choose to watch a movie on our 1.5m outdoor screen. We supply the movies...and the popcorn!! We supply all your cooking and eating utensils, salt and pepper, cooking oil, tomato and bbq sauce, tea and coffee (plunger style), water, an esky (please BYO ice) as well as a Bluetooth speaker. We also have a “romance package” to surprise your special someone. It includes fresh flowers, a petal heart on the bed (roses when possible), a bottle of French sparkling wine, light up stars on the tent ceiling, chocolate covered strawberries, and tons of romantic lighting to light up the tent. This is priced at $70. Our most popular package is called the “rompam” and it combines both the romance and the pamper packages. Everything included in both packages for just $130 with one bottle of French bubbly. Any of our optional extras can be paid in cash on arrival. Just please advise what you would like to indulge in at the time of your booking.
Nunderi is a small country village just 5 mins from Murwillumbah and 15-20 mins from the coast. You can arrive and relax around the campsite whilst exploring our beautiful property. If you choose our meal package then a BBQ dinner is on the menu, followed by s’mores by the campfire, maybe an outdoor camp movie and some spectacular star gazing with our telescope. Wake up to birdsong, maybe a quick trip to the beach for a swim or a surf and then a country breakfast is yours to enjoy with eggs from our chickens and produce from our gardens. • We had such a lovely time at this beautiful property! We had booked 3 nights for a babymoon (our last break away as a party of 2) and it was exactly what we needed. Private, peaceful and relaxing! Jo and Lily met us and were great with communication throughout our stay. We had the awesome pamper package sunset bath and felt very spoilt. A great location, close to the beautiful Cabarita beach and it was so nice to head back to the peaceful camp at the end of the day for a bbq and movie. Comfortable bed and lots of thoughtful touches. We would definitely recommend This beautiful stay and will probably be back as a party of 3 :) Thanks again Jo and Lily for making this time really special.
