Giorgia's apartment is perfectly located within the walled city of Lucca. It is a lovely apartment and I would thoroughly recommend it. It has a large kitchen and dining room which would be ideal to cook and eat in. Communication with Giorgia is excellent and recommended restaurants to go to. She arranged for a transfer from the airport from Franco and that was really worth doing. If we go to Lucca again we would stay at Giorgia's place again. Thank you.

Clean, tastefully vintage furnished, Giorgia's apartment is very well located for visiting Lucca. It felt like home. Even if we did not meet Giorgia, we were able to communicate well with her by messages, she was very reactive. In the two bedrooms, the bedding is comfortable and you sleep peacefully. A perfect base to enjoy the undeniable charm of this pretty fortified city.

The location within the old city is ideal, free parking just 10 minutes walk is very convenient. I was there with my 2 children and everything was perfect. Giorgia is very reactive, for my part she answered my questions immediately. Thanks again for this stay.

The apartment is located within the walls, so it is very convenient for reaching the main attractions and restaurants. The spaces are large and the kitchen allows you to prepare meals with comfort (and compared to other AirBnB it is much more equipped!). If you have any doubt or request, Giorgia will answer you in a few minutes!

Brand new and very comfortable apartment both on foot to the center and with the car as it is outside the Ztl. We did not have the pleasure of meeting Giorgia personally but the communication was quick and effective. Excellent value for money.

The house is very beautiful, tastefully decorated and very modern, the cleanliness is impeccable, it is 5 minutes walk from Porta San Jacopo, the exit gate of the complex sends you directly to the inner streets of the city, in another 5 minutes you are in the center, excellent for both short and long stays as there are also numerous car parks near the door! A truly excellent stay in a peaceful setting a stone's throw from the center. The apartment, very clean, is equipped with everything that can be needed for a short holiday. We really liked the large bathroom with multifunction shower and the possibility of having a TV in the bedroom, as well as the large screen in the living area. Definitely recommended to those who want to visit Lucca.

Cute apartment in the center of lucca, just inside the walls but outside the Ztl so that it is easy to load and unload the car as it was for me since I have a small child. What a fantastic city to say ... super recommended

An impeccable welcome, great kindness and affability characterize this bed and breakfast. In the historic area of Lucca, within the walls, on the third floor of an ancient palace, there is this apartment with some rooms, a nice breakfast room and a providential balcony (where you can have breakfast or enjoy a cigarette if you are a smoker like you the undersigned) overlooking the rooftops of Lucca. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything needed for a restful return. The bathrooms are impeccable. I thank Silvia and her reception team and the delicious chocolate :) I highly recommend it, because it is comfortable, quiet, not trivial in the details of the furniture. Not suitable even if you are on holiday looking for a TV, if you don't like originally furnished houses or if you have problems with stairs (I don't have one and the bold young man who checked me in gave me a hand with his suitcase. . really very kind!).

Lovely and unique, great location.

This place is amazing! Looking for a different and cute place to stay, in the Lucca’s walls, this is the place. Not too far from the train station, it is great to walk around in the small streets and discover Lucca (within the wall). Great place to eat and just sit and rest. A lot to see and explore. You can even walk around on the walls! The apartment itself is great, be careful if you are tall... it may hurt a little!!! But you have everything you need in this small but oh charming place. Gabriele even offers some experience... I did the cooking and it was awesome! Thx for sharing this wonderful place. I had 3 wonderful nights! And even if it was raining... I was able to walk around and appreciate history! I would recommend and absolutely go back!

The space is as described in the application. We found the keys in a key box located at the entrance to the apartment. The apartment is small but very cozy, in a very good location. A well equipped apartment in a central location near to shops and amenities. Serena is a most helpful host and made us very welcome. We will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Serena’s apartment! It was cozy, comfortable and in the best location, within walking distance to everything. We cooked in the well-appointed kitchen, drank coffee on the charming patio and played cards in the sunny dining room. Serena was so helpful with providing local tips! The condo was full of lovely amenities, such as olive oil, spices and a grocery cart on wheels for zipping down to the store for bread and wine. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when I return!

It’s Located in a quiet and yet close to everything area .... and it has a cozy balcony where you will drink your morning cafe and feel like a local. Plus there’s so much room to spread out. my favorite was the kitchen and dining room..... if i closed my eyes i could just imagine the wonderful Italian cooking that happen here over the years. Lovely apartment in a not so busy street inside the walls of the old town of Lucca. Everything needed is available, although some more necessities in the kitchen (such as olive oil, pepper and some more coffee) would have been great. The best part is the garden where we had our coffee in the morning and also relaxed with a beer and cigar in the evening. Very valuable and highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Lucca!

This apartment is in a fantastic location, close to and within the walls of Lucca. The garden is especially lovely on a hot summers day. Many shops and restaurants nearby but even those on the other side of town are only a walk away. Convenient for train or bus stations, local LAM buses stop in the nearby piazza if you don’t want to walk. The apartment is a bit tired, there is no air conditioning but for a few nights we managed with the supplied fans.

I recommend it very much because it is very close to the center, shops and restaurants ... a really strategic position also the private parking allows you to take a nice walk and be in the center or on the walls. Very bright with everything ... surely if I still need it I'll be back

This is a great apartment to stay at when in Lucca and can't recommend it enough. Very spacious and cleverly renovated. Perfect for two couples. Large bedrooms and walk in robes. Lots of natural light. Easy to get to all of the things you want to see in Lucca. Parking was easy in the car park near by. Margherita kindly provided a portacot for our 1 year old daughter. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. There are steps to get up to the apartment, but that didn't bother us. Very quite location. Definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

Salvatore was a wonderful host and made check-in a breeze. He even ensured that the apartment was warmed before I arrived. The place is a wonderful value and located a few steps from Piazza Napoleone and the fortress gates. The ceilings in this apartment are artful and romantic. It makes for a great place to relax. Make sure you bring your own wi-fi connection. There is a Vodafone connection that is available for purchase, which seems to have a pretty strong signal, but I chose to escape from the Internet and enjoy the beautiful fortress town that is Lucca. Get lost and enjoy the food. My top restaurant recommendations are Osteria San Giorgio for lunch (amazing sea bass) and Osteria dal Manzo for dinner (wonderful bolognese pasta and the best cheesecake I've had in my life).

We loved Francesca's apartment. After many an Ikea-filled studio, this elegant apartment was a real find. It's in an impressive old building, full of character and high-lighted with Francesca's special touch: framed engravings, extra raincoats & umbrellas, books, and an enormous comfortable bed. This apartment is situated very conveniently for the bus and train station, small supermarket and the venue for the concert we were attending. We were very comfortable and the facilities provided were excellent. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we were provided with plenty of fresh towels and bedding. On arrival, we received gifts of wine, pasta and sauce from our host. There was an electric fan which we used constantly as the weather was so hot. The only negative was the small bathroom. The shower was fine but we found the space cramped so not great for larger people. We felt very much at home and would highly recommend this property.

I came to Lucca for the third time and lived in Massimilano's house for the second time, as always, with satisfaction. The location is very good, between the train station and duomo, it is very close to where there is a bar restaurant tabacchi downstairs. The room was warm and clean, and the glass of the windows was soundproof, so although it was lively downstairs, it was not noisy at all. Looking forward to seeing you next time.

The apartment is completely in accordance with what is indicated. The location is excellent but, despite being in the center, the master bedroom overlooks a beautiful citrus grove so absolutely quiet. Salvatore was very helpful and we took his advice to heart. I would definitely recommend it.

Located 10 minutes from the train station, easy to find (since you have to travel only one street straight ahead). Apartment located in a great location. As soon as you come down you immediately find several clubs around. The apartment is very nice and welcoming and to my astonishment was also provided with food (pasta, brioche, biscuits, water, coffee etc ..) In the bathroom we found everything you need for the shower. The room was also supplied with extra blankets and pillows. Very comfortable sofa bed. Really so many compliments to the Host Salvatore

We had a great stay here. We arrived by train and could walk there in a leisurely 15 minutes stroll. The apartment was up 3 flights of stairs. It was spotlessly clean, with a good sized bedroom and bathroom with nice quality sheets and towels. The location was also very good, and we were able to walk to all the attractions in Lucca and find a choice of restaurants and cafes just around the corner.

The apartment is located in a very central position, with designer furniture, very clean. Chiara was very kind and provided very useful and precise information for visiting Lucca. Definitely recommended

We loved it, had a great time and looking fwd. To return to Lucca. For those who have stairs problems listen to Valentina. There are stairs. Can be also fun. Valentina prepared us all kind of recommendations but forgot to use it more. Do that😁. We had some situations and Valentina and Tania helped us asap. That counts🙋‍♂️ we missed few things in kitchen but improvised. Heating worked great. We have beautiful memories from Lucca. Def. Place to go. Best P.

The apartment is spectacular! Beautiful and artistic touches throughout the apartment. The view of the amphitheater from the window at anytime of day is amazing. Great just sitting there people watching. The stairs up to the apartment are steep and of uneven heights. Not a criticism, but a fact due to the historical age of the building. There are hand rails entire way up which are helpful to hold onto for climbing up or down. Loved our stay here. Cozy and warm.

This room was maybe our favorite on our two week trip through Italy. It was so cozy yet spacious, and felt like you were in a fairy tale. Plus the plaza that it was located in was our favorite in the city. Definitely recommend!

The accommodation is located on the top floor of a beautiful historic building in the very center of Lucca, the spaces are very clean, with a perfectly tidy and functioning private bathroom, the room is really something wonderful, with attention to detail with exposed beams. a wall on the guests can leave their own dedication, overlooking a picturesque courtyard, impossible to improve it. Andrea was an extremely kind and helpful Host, so to speak, all magnificent!

Very cozy room in the center of beautiful Lucca. It was quiet and dark during the night and the bed was lovely, so I slept very well. I also liked the (spacious) private bathroom, next to the room. Towels, soap, shampoo was all available. I would defenitely come back when I'm in Lucca again!

Francesca, Andrea's girlfriend greeted me at home and immediately showed me my room and bathroom, equipped with everything necessary, including hair dryer and shampoo, and even a bottle of wine. Super available in meeting any need, from the temperature of the heating to the emergency charger. Particular the wall of the room, where each guest can leave a drawing or a commentary in memory of his passage. Very recommended also for the location!

It is very close to the train station and can be reached in about five minutes on foot. Not far from the city, just a few minutes' walk to cross the bridge is the city wall. Accommodation is good and the bathroom is clean. The only bad thing is that I didn't light it up for a long time and didn't cook it.

Pleasant apartment located less than ten minutes by foot from the gates of the old town, just south of a well-lit railway footbridge, which you cross to get there. Everything was very clean and pleasant. The shower head took a little adjustment before it worked properly, but that was not a problem. Would recommend to a friend.

Perfectly located apartment, 5 - 10 minutes walk to the walls of Lucca. Great bakery close to the apartment and a decent pizzeria nearby too. Easy and free parking and great location for Pisa and interstrada for other locations. A bit of road noise but we were out during the days we were there. The accommodation of Giorgio is very well located: the city wall of Lucca can be reached on foot in about ten minutes. Directly in front of the house are several free parking facilities and the road to Pisa or Florence can be reached from there in no time. Directly in the house is a small ice cream parlor, run by two Italians who have long lived in Passau. You can give many good tips. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. I can fully recommend the apartment.

Apartment located in perfect position, just inside the walls of Lucca (ZTL area) and just before the pedestrian area starts. It is located on the first floor of a period building and retains most of the original elements to which are added, perfectly harmonized, modern elements. The apartment consists of two huge rooms (kitchen, living room and bedroom) furnished only with what you need, giving a pleasant feeling of order. The bathroom is small and without bidet (shower next to the toilet) but still functional. There is an equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher; there is no television (but we have not missed it). I do not think there is air conditioning but only the ceiling fans in the bedroom. I found the cleanliness impeccable, and greatly appreciated the presence of containers for recycling. A note in the margin for the owner, very kind and available to satisfy our requests. We have available a high chair is a camping cot for our child at no extra charge.

Chiara’s apartment has everything you will need with modern touches like a washer and dryer and a nice heating and air-conditioning unit. Everything looks like it’s brand new, very clean and nice decor, the outdoor courtyard is a nice touch during warm weather. Communication was very good, they met us there upon arrival so it was very easy to find and it is a great location right on a street with lots of cafés and shopping. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb when you are in Lucca. There is also a full kitchen and small refrigerator to buy items at the market if you want to have food during your stay.

Beautiful, elegant and homely space in an amazing location, ground floor but back of the building so it was quiet yet a few steps from facilities (try L'osta di Lucca restaurant 2 mins walk along the same street towards the centre in a courtyard on the left, the home-made pasta is amazing). Shower excellent, bed comfortable, and everything we needed was there. Great communication from the host via WhatsApp, and flexible in meeting us when the flight was delayed. Highly recommended.

If you want a place to stay in Lucca, this is it. The apartment is in such a great location, walking distance to anywhere inside the wall. Restaurants and supermarket are close by as well. The amenities were good and the kitchen well fitted out. Even though the apartment is on the first floor, and there is no lift, that was no problem. Safe and secure.

The flat is in an ideal location for visiting the stunning city of Lucca. We got a €60 cab from the airport (organised in advance from Tao taxis) and it took 20 mins to the appt. The flat is clean and bright and full of character. Giorgia couldn’t have been more helpful and responded to all my questions promptly. Her restaurant recommendations were exceptional too. We will be back!

This apartment was a great location in Lucca! Right on the main shopping street which made it easy to come and go throughout the day. An easy 15 min walk from Lucca Centrale and within 10 minutes of most other places you’d want to go in Lucca. In fact both restaurants we ate at were only 2-3 minutes away. The apartment is also on the ground floor which would be good for anyone with mobility issues. Very secure as there is the main door then an additional private gate before entering the apartment. Only area to note is the WiFi wasn’t awesome, it worked better at night and was not functioning during the day. It didn’t impact our stay. We would stay here again in Lucca!

This is a great place. The pictures don’t really do it justice. It’s larger than we expected. The views are wonderful, and nothing is far away in Lucca. Nicely fitted out, and whilst the building is very old, the unit is only a couple of years old.

It should be noted that while the building has a lift, the level of the apartment’s front door is not serviced by it.

Isabella's apartment is a fabulous space in beautiful Lucca. First of all, it's huge. Like HUGE compared to every other Airbnb we've stayed in. The bedroom and bathroom are up a few steps from the very large kitchen and living area and every bit of the place was spotless and had nice amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very nice with plenty of space. One day we had an issue with no hot water for some reason and Luca immediately came to our aid and fixed it when we messaged him. The location is ideal... off the beaten path so not the least bit crowded but super easy to get to the heart of Lucca to the sights and shops etc. And having an elevator and air conditioning were so great too. The only negative is that the furnishings in the living area could use refreshing... they are rustic and go with the whole Lucca vibe, but are pretty worn out so not comfortable for anyone who needs any back support. I ended up sitting at the dining table all the time we weren't in the bedroom or bathroom. But that absolutely wouldn't prevent us from staying there again if we ever get back to Lucca. All of the positives plus great communication with Margherita and Luca more than made up for the few things that weren't perfection!

We just spent 25 days honeymooning in 9 spots throughout Italy and this place was both the least expensive and the most incredible! The breeze and light throughout the day was perfect. The location was perfect. The thoughtful touches were perfect. Lucca is perfect. Great food, beautiful old buildings, manageable city without an overwhelmingly amount of tourists. We are so pleased we came across this gem on Airbnb. You cannot beat the location--with two fine restaurants and a grocery store one minute's walk away. We stayed in the apartment during the warmest time of the year, so we were grateful for the elevator (incredibly rare) and the air conditioning (somewhat rare). The views from the apartment are stunning; the decor inside is also easy on the eyes. We had everything we could possible need--from kitchen items to an emergency flashlight to plentiful hooks in the bathroom (a personal pet peeve avoided). The only slight surprise we had was that the property is managed by a firm. The man from the firm who let us in was kind and helpful.
