It is close to the station, so it is easy to go to Peace Park, and Miyajima is 45 minutes by direct JR.From this inn, you can visit Kure, Okunoshima, Onomichi, Kurashiki, and Hinoshima.There is also a free parking lot that can accommodate two cars. Pure Japanese style traditional House Entire house

This is one of the few remaining Shoin-zukuri-style, purely Japanese buildings in Hiroshima City, built 75 years ago, shortly after the war.One step from the main street, in a quiet environment, there is a small Japanese-style garden where you can relax. There are items that are only kept at the Mai House, such as a pot that partially melted due to the heat from the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, and photographs from around 100 years ago. The fixtures and glassware date back more than 70 years, and the two gardens, the hearth, and the study, in particular, capture the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese home. Currently, these items can only be obtained by placing an order with a select group of artisans. Of the 5 rooms, 3 are tatami rooms, so please lay a futon on the tatami when you go to bed. Located in Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, it can be reached by a single tram ride within the city. From the nearest station/tram stop ①, it takes about 20 minutes to reach Hiroshima Station. From the nearest station (tram stop ②), you can reach the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, as well as the city centre, in about 20–30 minutes. The taxi ride takes about 10 minutes. There are all the essentials in the neighbourhood: the large shopping mall Youme Town Hiroshima, convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart), and restaurants (okonomiyaki, ramen, sushi, yakiniku, waffles, bakery, etc.) are all within walking distance.

I heard that the previous owner has always loved gardening and had a wide range of hobbies. However, as I mentioned at the beginning, I didn't intend to start an inn at first, so there is no bath facility (there is a shower). However, you can use the nearby inns as an outdoor bath. The first floor is a living room, and the second floor is a two-room Japanese-style bedroom, and up to 6 people can stay comfortably. 　In the courtyard, there is a white stone character "kokoro" (heart) inscribed in the gravel. It was made by the gardener a long time ago for fun, and it is the origin of the name of the inn. He said he wants to welcome people with all his heart and help them relax and enjoy their stay.
