  • A perfect little getaway, right in the middle of Northwood. Walking distance to anything you’d want, but still a very private space. Right above Jenni’s coffee shop and bistro: breakfast was great! Jenni was a wonderful host: warm, welcoming, and provided us information about local events.

    Yasuko2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect studio in town above the coffee shop. Jenni was a fantastic host. Everything you may need is available. I rented this for my parents and they decided to stay a additional week.

  • Thank you! Such a nice comfortable place to call home for a few days. I hope to stay again!

    Nicole2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful stay at Terry and April's place. The space was very clean and comfortable. I arrived after a big snow and they already had the driveway and front walk shoveled out for me and the house warmed up. They had all the amenities I needed during my stay. They were also very accommodating of some changes I had to make to the reservation due to unexpected circumstances which I really appreciated.

    Tatum2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Well kept place with many thoughtful hospitality touches. Excellent tv with really good WiFi made the stay even more enjoyable.

    Shane2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • April’s responsiveness was terrific, and the cute, cozy house was simply perfect for my weeklong stay! There are thoughtful touches, the bed is super-comfortable. In short, I’ve stayed in many motels in southeastern Minnesota, but this arrangement beats them all. It’s sparkling clean, quiet, and private. Thanks April and Terry for a wonderful stay!

    S.2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great stay, and wonderful host! The place was so cozy and warm I forgot about the snow outside! Fuzzy slippers just added to the cosiness in the evening. 👍

  • I like that this little house has plenty of surfaces, hooks, drawers, and hangers to put stuff on and in. I do not feel like I am imposing on someone else's space and it is easy to see what's mine when I'm packing up to leave. A comfortable, quiet, convenient spot. I enjoy staying for several days at a time.

The Kingsley House is a known entity in Austin. Built in 1926 by Judge Kingsley for his daughter, Cora, who lived here for many years, the walls of this home could tell many stories. Besides housing a prominent citizen in its early days, it was later the home of a popular local artist; it's been an antique store; and it has even been a residence for senior citizens. But now it is the sanctuary for my little family, our peaceful abode just a block from downtown.
This cozy 2nd floor bedroom features a double bed for two or for the lone traveler. Enjoy a view out the window of the lovely backyard and watch the fireflies buzz around at night. The sound of a neighborhood frog can be heard best in the summer from this room. Cozy up in the chair with a good book and then get ready to sleep like a baby! The shared bathroom is right outside the door. Note: there is a cat that lives in the home. She doesn’t have access to the second floor of the house and is therefore never in any bedrooms. She’s a sweet, adoring cat but we are sensitive to the fact that some guests may have allergies, so she is confined to the basement, living room, and kitchen.
This historic home in downtown Austin is within walking distance to restaurants, the Spam Museum, the Historic Hormel Home, YMCA/Community Rec Center, public library, shops, bike trails, the bandshell park, and is only a block from Main Street. We absolutely love living in close proximity to some of Austin's most treasured landmarks! https://www.facebook.com/groups/2104244626305477/
  • Brie has a beautiful home right off of downtown Austin. I was in town for a wedding and she was understanding that I might be in late due to wedding festivities. She also had a great little coffee bar for guests and a very friendly cat. We loved our stay.

    Morganne2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Brie and her place were a treat, an older home but nicely decorated. Parking and check in went smooth. Brie's living room, kitchen and dining areas are open to her guests. I felt very welcome and enjoyed my brief stay.

    Michael2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, very responsive.

    Victor2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Brie's house is far lovelier than the pictures show, and I can't imagine anyone feeling other than comfortable and at home here!

    Stephanie2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Brie’s home was very comfortable and a great location for Austin visitors or Route 90 travelers. Brie was very welcoming and clear with instructions. The house and room was ornately decorated with lots of cool amenities. One of the best AirBnBs I’ve stayed at.

    Mike2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Always a very comfortable stay, my third time in fact and will be my go to place in Austin!

    Nathaniel2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Would very much recommend.

    Justin2019-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely and interesting historical home, set up to very comfortably accommodate multiple guests. Beautiful woodwork, high ceilings, thoughtfully decorated with many classic and/or fun items. The host lives onsite and gave a very welcoming and homey feel to my stay. My bedroom was spacious and quiet, and my use of other parts of the house felt good, not intrusive. I’ll be back!

The Nordic Horse is more like a farm stay! This is a working horse farm, many of the horses are located on this property. Have coffee on deck overlooking a pasture with the two miniature (little ones can sit on them) horses and the friendly llama that begs for apple slices . The house and barn is a little bit of Norway built in 1880 . It is located on a I-90 frontage road 215th and the Hayward exit. It is the farm with the gate and Nordic horse cutouts on the fence.
Because the original part of the house was built of logs - the house is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The yard is surrounded by a garden using feng shui principles. Help yourself to the organic vegetables in the large garden - in season. The house has Nordic crosses on all four sides - a vintage Scandinavian tradition. It is a Viking tradition in order to make the house safe. Some of the local fun things to do: 1)Blazing Star bike trail that starts 3 miles from the house in Hayward, Minnesota 2)Austin and the Spam Museum is located 10 miles to the East. 3) Albert Lea six miles to the west is a city of original buildings. It has a lake in the center with a walking path around the lake. It is a the original Blue Zone City and organized by the Blue Zones author Dan Buettner. Marion Ross (Happy Days actress) childhood home was in Albert Lea. The Marion Ross Theater has live entertainment with her support. Take a 2 hour cruise on the Pelican Breeze. 4) Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota is located about 50 miles to the NE and all but 3 miles is Interstate driving. 5) Helmer Myer State Park is near Albert Lea. 6) Other areas of interest within 30 miles is Diamond Jo Casino, Harmony Park, and Kiester (made famous by a television ad)
Privacy for quests - no neighbors within a half mile.
  • This place is a quaint farm home and Ann had several kind gestures, including pizzas in the freezer for us.

    Gem2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The Nordic horse farm was easy to get to. Ann was the perfect host, the house was well stocked with snacks, as there is not much in the immediate area, and the beds were very comfortable. Dimity the llama was a bonus! We would stay here again.

    Hilary2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Ann's place completely exceeded our expectations. With the all the Norwegian touches brought a smile to all our faces. Great location while feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere.

    Brian2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Anna pls e was very fun and neat to stay at. Tons of things to look at, it’s a nice cozy get away.

    Jamie2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying at Ann’s place. The house is cozy and very charming with lots of Norwegian decorations. The horses came to greet me at the gate. It was a hoot seeing a lama outside the living room window. Everything was very clean. Soft, pillow like bed. Very quiet. Easy access just off I-90. Highly recommended.

    Randy2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ann was a great host. I truly enjoyed our conversations and the welcoming atmosphere of the farm. Of course, a free roaming Llama doesnt hurt!

  • Molly, her cat and her dog are all really engaging and enjoyable. Her place is super convenient to the interstate, and Austin had all the conveniences I needed for helping me continue my cross country drive. As a host, Molly thought of so many nice touches, and her space was pretty and peaceful. We had some great conversation, and she made some pretty awesome banana bread too! I highly recommend her place if you’re going to be in the area!

This private room is next to Mayo Clinic, historic downtown, Fountain Lake Park, Marion Ross Performing Arts Theater, and a city playground. You’ll love my place because of the luxury Casper Mattress, the coziness of the vintage woodwork and the conveniences of home like a comfy living room, a full kitchen (w/treats!) and laundry. The Grace Place is good for couples, solo adventurers, professionals
Built in early 1900's the home is full of historic charm and has been maintained with excellence by the previous owner. Beautiful dark wood throughout. We've created this space with a desire to serve those coming and going from the hospital across the street. We have heard of many professionals looking for short term housing while they work here in this beautiful city. Family and friends would find this a great place to stay while visiting their loved ones who may be admitted to the world class care at the hospital. No matter your reason to be in Albert Lea, we would love to make you feel at home in any of the four private rooms or you could book the whole house if you like! We have separate listings for each bedroom and for the whole house. We are certain you will be comfortable! Potentially meet a new friend in a common area or retreat to your room to relax in solitude. Each room has a smart TV so login to Netflix, Hulu, YouTube or whatever and enjoy your shows! Basic cable is available in the living room on the bigger TV. The comfort of the beds is really important to us, because that is pretty much the main reason you are looking for a place! A place to sleep! And that is why we chose to get Casper mattresses, let us know how you like them.
The best spot for coffee or a bite is The Interchange Wine & Coffee Bistro located a few blocks away at 211 S Broadway Ave, they often have live music. http://www.theinterchangebistro.com/ Another fun spot is 112 on Broadway, a nice venue with the address in the name! Park Ave was one of the most wealthy and earliest developed areas of Albert Lea primarily serving the doctors who worked at the Hospital. Grace Street is a one way street off of Park Ave and the apartment building behind was build to accommodate the nurses who worked at the Hospital.

The Harriet House is a culmination of over 50 years of combined management experience, construction expertise and craftsmanship expressed in a 2 bedroom lake house inspired get away suite located just steps away from Albert Lea's crown jewel, Fountain Lake.
This space is located on the second floor of a duplex and has a straight flight of stairs when you open the front door. Amenities include a smart TV, cable, free high speed Wi-Fi, blue tooth speaker in bath light/fan, microwave, apartment size fridge (contains complimentary water & soda), coffee maker, flavored coffee variety, front load washer/dryer, detergent, iron/spray starch, portable fan, alarm clocks, and hair dryer for your needs. The master bedroom is appointed as you might expect a lake house get away might be. Additionally, the barn door headboard and detailed barn wood wall art were crafted by a local Albert Lea artist. He is one of only 3 known artists creating masterful artwork from original turn of the century barn wood. The second bedroom doubles as a workable office space with the convenience of a desk and a queen sized Murphy Bed. Great care was taken in choosing a modern Murphy Bed frame with adequate support and a very luxurious mattress. The tiled shower with modern glass, tile bench, bluetooth speaker/exhaust fan and dual shower heads will invite you to unwind from your day, while the comfort of the high end locally sourced mattresses leave you relaxed for whatever your following day presents. Future upgrades to include the main floor living room, dining room and full kitchen with all of the amenities you could want. Stay tuned!
The Harriet House is located on a quiet side street only 3 house from Fountain Lake and is only steps from Mayo Hospital. Our comfortable space is walking/biking distance to all of the activities of downtown Albert Lea.

  • Harriet House is an older property, but beautifully updated and decorated. It is an elegant space in a somewhat hidden location near the lake. Very thoughtful amenities like a Keurig maker and teas and coffees, plus a refrigerator stocked with Sodas and water. The bath was incredible with a luxurious shower and the bed was comfortable and we slept like babies! Next time we are in Albert Lea, we will definitely stay at Harriet House, it was a great experience and CPM was a magnificent host!

  • We had a great stay at Harriet House. Very clean and comfortable. An older space that has been nicely updated. A quiet neighborhood near the lake. Available parking, and checking in and out was a breeze! There were tips for things to do in the area, and thoughtful touches (chocolates, waters, etc. in the fridge). We will stay again if we come back to Albert Lea.

I've undertaken the project of fixing up & living in this old creamery building on the Winnebago River in the rural town of Fertile. Guests can have the spacious upstairs to themselves & pass time in the common areas downstairs. Peaceful place. If you're a supporter of Donald Trump, it's possible that this place may not be for you.
A historical building curated in an artistic manner with an emphasis on relaxation & reflection. Still rough around the edges, but clean & inspiring. Extensive & eclectic library of books for guests to read. Upstairs (where your accommodations will be) has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, & a balcony with a table. The 2 bedrooms are separated by a hallway, but not a door. In the large, main room you'll find a queen sleigh bed. In the smaller room there is a queen bed & a double bed. The stairs leading to up to the space are quite steep & might not be appropriate for some elderly or health-compromised folks. There is a lock on the door to the upstairs to give you extra peace of mind. Downstairs is comprised of 3 living rooms, 1 bedroom, & the kitchen.
It's quiet. Rural. There's a park right across the river with picnic tables, a basketball court (can provide a basketball), a horseshoe pitch (can provide two pairs of horseshoes), a dam, waterfall, old mill. Many characteristic gravel roads surrounding Fertile provide opportunities to get lost among low hills, cornfields & prairie. Clear Lake is only a 10 minute drive away. I-90 is 20-25 minutes away, I-35 is 5 minutes away.
  • A creative sanctuary! We enjoyed a longer visit our second stay and exquisite bites at Cafe Mir. Grateful for such a treasure and will stay again.

    Jennifer2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a wonderful spot for a cozy getaway! The space is intriguing and beautifully curated, full of plants and crystals and books. The kitchen is a wonder of its own! Nathaniel is incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with, really couldn’t be a better host.

    Tom2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Creamery is a special place, all around. I almost don't want to write this review, so I can keep this place hidden for those who know it already, but I would be doing a disservice to Nathaniel and Fertile by doing so. The Creamery is charming, Moscow the cat is loving, Cafe Mir is amazing. We spent hours combing through the books and movies, all while popping a record on the record player. Come down to the Creamery when you need some time to relax and just be, either by yourself or with loved ones. It is a healing and restorative space. We are already planning our next trip down!

    Sarah2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place has lavish comfort and incredible style. Nathaniel is a wonderful host. There’s a restaurant down the street called “Cafe Mir” with great food. I would recommend this place for anyone or a group wanting to get a weekend away.

    Ben2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely an exceptional find! It is absolutely authentic, and filled with eclectic and beautiful artifacts! This place is an experience. We definitely are coming back this summer just to enjoy it and Nathaniel is a great host! Thank you!

    Ahmad2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nathaniel’s place was great, we would stay there again!

    Hilary2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • A hidden gem in a quintessential small farming community in NW Iowa. Easy access from the interstate. Gracious host. Peaceful. Spotless. Nathaniel’s Place is an uniquely renovated old creamery building with an expansive private upper level AirB&B space that offers two separate sleeping areas, comfortable beds, TV with Netflix and huge DVD selection, full bath, work table, desk and even an electric tea kettle. The interior is like a museum of eclectic art, antiques and novelties, plus hundreds of books. Did I say spotless?! We visited when the highly rated local Cafe Mir was closed, but Nathaniel offered good alternative recommendations. We’ll plan another visit in summer when we can better enjoy the Winnebago River that borders the backyard. Fabulous retreat place in a rural small town setting.

    Lisa2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • I’m a traveling technician who works in the renewable energy sector who stays in different BnB’s all over the United States and I must say, this place was my favorite rural stay this year. The building had a majestic vibe and blew away all of our expectations my coworker and I had created. Would recommend this Stay for a larger group as well, with the vast open rooms this place has to offer. Would be Incredibly stoked on the opportunity to work in the area again next season, as I would book this place in a heart beat.

1898 Queen Victorian home on the National registry. Used to be a bed and breakfast so bathroom in every bedroom. 1/2 block from lake. Within walking distance of the heart of the town. Great for family events.
  • This is a great place to get away! Huge--lots of space, really clean, and right near Jake's Pizza! Can't beat it.

    Brett2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Queen Victorian is a beautiful, grand home that has obviously been lovingly kept through the years. We loved seeing bits of history on the walls and in the old newspapers left on the coffee table. We felt quite special having dinner in the formal dining room and enjoying a cocktail on the antique settee. The accommodations are comfortable and would easily sleep a large family or many guests. We very much enjoyed our stay in this restored Victorian home! I can only imagine how fantastic it would be in the summer months with an easy walk to the lake or downtown. We’d certainly choose to stay with Joanne at the Queen Victorian again!

    Katherine2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this house!

    Travis2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We have had our family Christmas in January here the last two years and it has been great both years! Great areas for sitting around, talking, playing games, etc. Nice upstairs to play ping pong. Hoping to use it again next year! Joanne was great to work with as we were trying to get there before the snow storm got there. Thanks for everything Joanne!

    Brian2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • If u have a large family with kids it’s perfect. Everyone has their own space and yet there is plenty of space to b together. Joanne answers messages quickly which is a big help.

  • Wonderful historic home. Just is terrific.

    Elaine2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This Victorian mansion was a perfect get away for our growing family. We had 8 adults and 2 babies. The house was very accommodating with bathrooms in each bedroom and spaces for the babies and cribs. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with all the things we forgot, powdered sugar, spices and flour. We enjoyed late night games while the babies slept and others could go to bed when they wanted to and not get disturbed by the ruckus downstairs. It was perfect to celebrate Christmas with gifts, food and lots of family time.

    Diane2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place for a family gathering! Joanne’s place is warm and inviting. And very spacious! She even had a Christmas tree up for our family Christmas gathering. Would definitely recommend!

This private room is next to Mayo Clinic, historic downtown, Fountain Lake Park, Marion Ross Performing Arts Theater, and a city playground. You’ll love my place because of the luxury Casper Mattress on the stunning captains bed, the coziness of the vintage woodwork and the conveniences of home like a comfy living room, a full kitchen (w/treats!) and laundry. The Grace Place is good for couples, solo adventurers, professionals, families (with kids), and big groups (ask ahead of time)
Built in early 1900's the home is full of historic charm and has been maintained with excellence by the previous owner.

  • Tom’s place was just perfect for a work retreat where I could get things done without interruption. The place is quiet and feels like you are in the country. It is quirky and unique. The kitchen is outfitted well and the fact that they leave fresh eggs made breakfast super easy. I will be back the next time I need to get away.

The whole house was cute and a clean space to stay in, and the beds were extra comfy. We had a wonderful experience in Grace Place, and I would highly recommend!

  • If you are looking for a little cabin/cottage in a pretty peaceful area, this is it! Lisa’s description is very accurate, especially note that the 2 levels are not connected-you must enter each area from outside. It was just me and my husband, we mainly used the upstairs but we did LOVE the lower area as well. We went in the fall, we loved the colorful trees, a walking/hiking trail is very close by-easy walk to trail! The damn is even closer-another must if you rent Lisa’s cabin. We loved the close-by restaurant- Old Country Seat. The “bigger” town close by-Osage was nice, we went to coffee shop & brewery, they also had some places to eat & grocery store, etc. It’s a beautiful drive to Osage-using the River Road. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

    Richelle2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa went out of her way to make sure we got what we needed out of her property at every turn. This was our first venture through AirBnB and she helped make sure we got everything we needed. Very nice place on the river. Extremely quiet and enjoyable stay. If I get back up in the area again for work I will most definitely be getting hold of lisa for another stay on the river

    Jeremy2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa's place on the river is rustic and quaint. We enjoyed the solitude and being able to have a fire outside in the evening. Lisa left us the fixings for a great breakfast. We hiked and did some fishing. Very relaxing.

    Patricia2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute and had a beach house vibe. Lisa left us a cute note and breakfast makings as well, which was a nice personal touch. We had issues finding the pieces to hook the hammock up but it wasn’t a big deal. I am sure she would have responded had I messaged her and asked because she had great communication. The place was quiet and private we loved it. Especially loved playing on the Super Nintendo ♥️

    Brittany2019-08-18T00:00:00Z

If you stay on a Saturday night into Sunday, it is probable that we will leave you a breakfast tray in our 3rd floor kitchenette that you can heat and enjoy at your leisure. The breakfast is the same, and we appreciate your understanding.
Our neighbors are friendly and welcoming, our houses and yards tidy and well-kept, and we have several beautiful antique, country, bridal and Victorian shops - even a spa. It's a great place to walk or bicycle. We're a small town with all the necessary comforts.
  • A darling Victorian inn, it was a true pleasure to stay here. Sherrie was communicative and patient as our arrival time got extensively delayed. We loved it here!

  • Awesome historic Inn, uniquely appointed, in a serene setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

    Darwin2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful, clean and comfortable room and our hosts were especially kind. I unexpectedly fell ill on our trip through Iowa, back to New Jersey and was unable to make it down for breakfast. They wrapped up the scrumptious breakfast so that I was able to take it with me and that really touched me. I would not hesitate to stay there again and I would recommend this bed-and-breakfast to anyone who wants a beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, comfortable BnB to stay at.

    Suzanne2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Sherrie was an outstanding host. She turned an old Victorian house into a stunning Airbnb and bed and breakfast. Deb made us a great breakfast in the morning. Sherrie was so interesting to talk to! She is an author and play-write. We loved the unique and thoughtful touches Sherrie put into the home and the room. Every room has a unique name and theme. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone. The price is great AND you get a free and delicious breakfast. Thank you Sherrie!!!!!

  • Excellent breakfast!

    Steve2019-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I loved our stay and the b&b! Great night sleep, great breakfast in the morning. We loved the experience of the small quiet town. Be sure to visit the antique store too!

    Sadie2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying a the Blue Belle Inn! The town is small and quaint. The home is lovely that has thoughtful decor. Our beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch while taking in the fresh spring morning. Sherri had accommodated our last minute request even though they had a wedding to attend. The breakfast is always amazingly delicious...quiche, scones and fresh fruit. We look forward to our next visit.

This second floor bedroom is a bright, cheery space that faces the front of the property. The room features a comfortable queen bed, closet, sitting chair, lots of plants, and lovely decor inspired by Van Gogh. Amenities include: coffee and tea station * TV with Netflix in the bedroom * Wi-Fi * Extra toiletries * Snacks provided * Fully stocked kitchen * Hundreds of fiction and non-fiction books Note: there is a cat that lives in the home.
  • Clean , quiet accommodations right downtown Austin. I will stay with her again when I am in town.

  • My go to place in this town! Monthly returns. Comfortable space, safe, clean, and a great location!

  • Brie's place was charming! She and her family were very welcoming. It is definitely worth the stay.

    Stephanie2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Brie’s place is incredibly nice, clean and quiet. It is a shared bathroom with the family, so be aware of that, but very clean, and the family is very nice and respectful. I really liked staying here and talking to Brie. She gave us breakfast and coffee and snacks and the house is so nicely decorated. Also Brie was very accommodating of us getting there late after check-in hours. I would totally stay here again if coming through Minnesota!!

    Allegra2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Terrific location in the heart of downtown. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Loved the cat with his gentle nudges and soft purrs.....room was very pleasant. We were only there a few hours but the price was very reasonable.

    Linda2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Brie has an amazing home with all the touches of the past! It has history and beautiful views!

    Ann2019-08-30T00:00:00Z

    Molly2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Brie was very friendly and flexible about my arrival (my flight was delayed from the morning until the evening and I didn't arrive until nearly 9). She opened her home and made everything so easy and cozy.

  • House is super quaint - beautiful older home with awesome decor. Very homey, clean and comfortable. Slept great - mattress was super comfy.

  • Perfect for a quick weekend trip in Austin MN. I spent most of my time spent with friends for a wedding, so I didn’t spend lots of time in the home, but it seemed lovely and cozy.

  • Great lodging. Great city. Great people.

    Jerry2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • I was in Austin for work and this is exactly what I needed. It was close to work and comfortable. I didn't get a chance to really see the house outside my room due to my schedule but from what I did, it's a cute house. Brie was quick to respond to questions and friendly. I would recommend a stay here to anyone going to Austin.

    Kate2019-08-11T00:00:00Z

This private room is next to Mayo Clinic, historic downtown, Fountain Lake Park, Marion Ross Performing Arts Theater, and a city playground. You’ll love my place because of the luxury Casper Mattress, the coziness of the vintage woodwork and the conveniences of home like a comfy living room, a full kitchen (w/treats!) and laundry. The Grace Place is good for couples, solo adventurers, professionals...
Enjoy the space and privacy of having the whole home to yourself!
  • Clean, convenient and well priced. The location is excellent and makes a good home base for any trip to Albert Lea

    James2019-12-16T00:00:00Z

Beautiful three bedroom home located in fantastic mature neighborhood in SW Austin Minnesota. This home is only a mile off interstate 90 for easy access. Down town is only 5 minutes away. Enjoy going to The Spam Museum, Historic Hormel Home and the Historic Paramount Theater.
The neighborhood is one of the nicest and safest in the city of Austin. Very large trees, nice people, and winding roads which keep the speed of traffic down. The house is located about one block from Turtle Creek if you are interested in a nice nature walk or canoeing down the Creek (bring your own Canoe).
  • Very spacious and clean home. There were lots of thoughtful touches like having coffee on hand as well as travel toiletries in the bathroom. I wish it were warmer during my stay so I could have enjoyed the yard and the beautiful sun-room. Peter was a great host - very quick to answer any questions.

    Amy2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's place was great. Very spacious and accommodating and even though it's listed as a 3 bedroom, there are actually 4 distinct sleeping quarters. He was hands off while still very present if we needed. I'm a singer and was struggling with my throat in the dry chill of winter and he was quick to bring me a humidifier from his house when I reached out. Overall a great place for us to stay and hunker down while we worked in Austin for the week. And I really dug the taxidermy pheasant but maybe that's just me....

    Rachel2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Peter was a great host. He was very accommodating to our check in time, made sure we had all we needed and was so quick in his response time. We have stayed 2x now and will be back!

    Alexis2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy comfortable house in Austin, very good location. Peter was a great host, left us precise instructions and everything worked well. We had a great time during Thanksgiving celebrating grandma's 90 year old!

  • Awesome place, with lots of room. Loved the back porch!

  • Peter was a great host and has a great home for rent in Austin. I rented the home for my family to stay in so they could all be together vs at a hotel while preparing for my grandpa's funeral. My family absolutely loved it and were thankful to all be together vs in a hotel.

  • Heading out west and found this gem. I love old houses in old neighborhoods when they’re done right.

    Kevin2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • We (a group of students and myself) stayed in Anne's House of Dreams (the whole house). The students and myself "oohed" and "ahhed" at all of the beautiful decor, set-up, and overall 'cottage' experience that the home contained. Beds were clean, comfortable, and perfectly set-up and ready to go for when we arrived. We left early the next morning for a conference in Charles City and the innkeeper was kind enough to prepare a scrumptious breakfast plate for each one of us! I would recommend staying at one of Sherrie's accommodations anytime! Great hospitality and lovely home!

  • The Blue Belle Inn Bed & Breakfast is an excellent option for travelers in Mitchell County, Iowa. The house is spacious and lovely and perfectly clean! Many of the rooms are spacious and quaintly decorated, adding to the enjoyment if you're looking for the B&B experience. Our room was very large, had a King size bed, a fireplace, and a very large whirlpool bath. Breakfast is provided via a 'breakfast plate' that is prepared the evening before and left for you in a refrigerator in a common area. So just know you're not going to get breakfast served by the host, but for us the breakfast plate was more than adequate.
