The place was great and really scenic in its appeal. A bit away from the main road but its kind of nice to have your own space and take it in. Very friendly and very approachable to hosts were great and provide us with a great atmosphere. If Im ever back in Corfu I would certainly stay again.

Fantastic days .. If you are reading this review do not waste any more time and book now this accommodation !! Then the welcome was great, if Spyros is not in Corfu there are his parents who welcome guests with friendship and joy. The area is very convenient for all the main beaches in the south of Corfu, and with less than an hour away you can also get to the north of the island. The house is very large and spacious, with a spectacular panoramic terrace, and there is a mini market at 5 minutes walk Habitable even (EMAIL HIDDEN)fortable room with balcony, possibility of eating outside, spacious kitchen with refrigerator and microwave and two bathrooms. Maximum grade!

Excellent housing. Spacious, with everything you need. Small problems with the oven were resolved quickly and efficiently. Father Spiridon - Odysseus regularly pampered us with his communication and the fruits of his garden. Highly recommend.

We were guests of this beautiful Cottage House from 28 June to 7 July 2016. Spyridon was in Germany for work, but was always very helpful in answering all our questions. We made friends even without meeting him in person :) His parents, Arethi and Odysseos, live on the ground floor of the villa, while the first floor is completely available to guests. Arethi and Odysseos speak greek and German, only a few words in English, but guests are very careful, considerate and warm. They did everything possible to make us feel at home; when we arrived they did find water and food in the fridge, every day we were offered fruit and vegetables from their garden (very good), including oil and lemon (Corfu specialties), drove us to the most beautiful beaches, where they advised eating well, and so on. It created a really special relationship, and we would come back to visit them soon! (Our 16 month old daughter still asks "papu", greek word that means "grandfather" :)). The house has everything you need (including a washing machine and a small bathroom as well as the one with the bath); There are 3 bedrooms, a large hall, a well stocked kitchen, and the balcony - from which we admired the view and beautiful sunsets while we ate dinner at the table - is broad, sheltered from sunlight and airy. Who needs TV when you can admire the spectacle? (I recommend, however, to Spyridon to make it connect to the antenna). There is no AC but with a fan that gave us, opening the windows and creating a little 'power was well on hot days (in Corfu in July is definitely hot!). Around the villa there is a large garden with fruit trees and olive trees; in front, a nice porch with shady trees, a small fountain and the garage available to guests. All around, the works of art by Arethi (paintings, decoupage). The house is in a small village in the south of the island, an hour from the airport; it is good to have the availability of a car. Both sides of the island, within a 5-10 minute drive, have beautiful beaches. We would have wanted to shoot more, but our daughter has got a virus; Arethi accompanied us to the doctor and a pediatrician who speaks Italian, Odysseos then we were escorted to the pharmacy on duty ... In short, the wide availability of the owners and their desire to communicate despite the language problems we have much hit. For all these reasons absolutely recommend this Cottage House: it will be fine! Thank Arethi, Odysseos and Spyridon: we arrived as guests, and left as friends. Carlo, Evelina & Emilia

Rested 2 weeks. 6 persons have three children. Very comfortable home. The entire second floor consists yours. All you need for a good rest at home there. Very comfortable and spacious veranda, which comfortable for breakfast, lunch and uzhinat- blown by the wind and not too hot. Many thanks to the owners for a warm, family welcome.

The welcome was great, the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We enjoy every day of our stay the fruit garden and traditional Greek dishes. I highly recommend this cottage.

The appartment is the top floor of a big beautifull house in a small village. It has everything you need no matter the weather, a large terrasse with a roof, and a large roof terrasse, also a large kitchen with dining area. The hosts, Odyseus and Arite, treat you like family and if you have any problems they will help you in any way they can. They grow a lot of organic vegetables that they make sure you will taste during your stay. The garden is full of Lemon- and orangtrees and about 200 olivetrees. I had a loveley stay, and will return again in the future, for sure.

We spent a wonderful holiday. Everything 'has been possible thanks not only to the house, which conforms to the description, to the beautiful coasts reached quickly and clear waters, but above all THANK reception, the friendliness and generosity of Spyridon and his family. Every day we received the produce and not only! We highly recommend this vacation home, if you love the human contact, the nature and calm.

Amazing

All was great, the hosts have done everything to make our stay pleasant (they help us to found a quad, they show us the local market, the way to the beach.. we enjoyed some local meals together). It was a pleasure to spend time with Areti and Odysseus. People in neighboring villages are very nice too (they told us some places to go). The view from the top of the house is very nice, between the lands and the sea. We highly recommended this airbnb !

The hosts are exceptionally kind! We have never been welcomed as well as by Areti and Odysseus. The house is perfect, the opportunity to park the car right outside the door was very convenient. Everything is there ! The fruit and vegetables from the Odysseus garden were very good! We were very touched by their welcome and attentions. We can not recommend them enough! Do not hesitate to book! Personally we will stay there again on our next getaway to Corfu!

We were glad to stay in you House! Our apartment was really huge for two person, there was a pleasant surprise in the fridge- different vegetables ,melon,watermelon, lemons! You can use washer in thr buthroom, hairdryer. there is a big supermarket 7 km from the apartments. 300m from apartments there is a viewing area, where you can see unbelievable sunrise So if you are looking for apartment at the south part of the island, I can recommend Spyridon`s house! Es war wie ein kleines Zuhause, familiär in dörflicher Atmosphäre ohne auf den Luxus wie Wifi, Badewanne, große Wohnküche und Milchschäumer ;) verzichten zu müssen. Außerdem perfekte Lage um im Süden Korfus die Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu genießen. Der Garten der Gastgeber sorgt für einen gesunden Vitaminhaushalt und ein Gefühl von ländlicher Idylle.

la famille de Spyridon fut très accueillante et chaleureuse. Le logement était impeccable. L'endroit est idéal pour rejoindre les 2 cotes mais il est préférable d'avoir un moyen de locomotion (3,5 km pour Pétriti et 4 km pour agios pour les plages). Je recommande vivement cet hébergement. Thanks to Hana for our beutiful stay in Boukari in July! We came as family of three with a 9-months baby and very liked the place. Boukari is a small, quiet and quite remote villlage with its own stone beach with the sand bottom, comfortably covered by the trees to make a shadow from the sun. Hana's appartments is on the third floor of the 3-floor guest house just in front of the sea with a large sea-view terrace. Though Hana is a remote host, but with all kinds of assistants (administrative and technical) availbale on any question which may arise. The location is very nice and the terrace with the sea view is really sth! Wathching the sunset with a glass of wine, well you know..) For those, who want to cook themselves there is everything they might need. We did so, but the closest big supermarket is 4km away in Moraitika - so for sure you'll need a car or some other transport for the whole stay. We rented a car in the airport. Also you will need some mosqito spray in the evening and something from the bees if you eat on the terrace (burn grinded coffee - the best solution). And drive safe from Moraitika to Boukari - the road is very narrow. Kind regards, Alexey

We stayed in the villa for 3 nights and we loved it. It is far from all the rush, up in the hill. You need a car if you want to stay there but it's worth it. House is clean, beautiful, spacious, with 3 terraces, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. From the lower terrace we enjoyed the sea view while having a breakfast. How I miss it already! There are 2 women taking care of the house, they don't really speak english but they were very warm and welcoming, gave us some fruit and language barrier wasn't problem, they helped us anyway. There are very good taverna's when you drive down to the village. I would recommend going to the beach that is little further from the villa, close to lake Korission. It is not crowded, only sand. Overall I would recommend to stay at villa if you are looking for a calm vacation and have a rental car. Thank you for having us on such a short notice, everything was really great!

Super verblijf, wel een beetje afgezonderd van winkels ed. Enkel vlakbij een restaurant en een klein strand maar dan vooral stenen. Wel heel vriendelijke mensen. Mooi en rustig gelegen.

Nicholas and Eleni are two people very warm and welcoming. They are very careful and take care of their guests in the true sense of the word. I'm always available for every need. The stay at their home was wonderful. The landscape is very nice, the sea is one step from the house, you could say that it is part of the garden itself, it is transparent, but falls very softly making themselves very suitable for those with small children, even though the beach in front of the house is made of small pebbles. The house is quite large and very characteristic, amounting almost to a hotel in terms of service (change of sheets and towels) and useful accessories for guests. The area where you can enjoy, though, is the garden: a set of fruit trees, trees with flowers from the forms and tropical colors, different herbs, a vegetable garden, a terraced olive trees, several tables on which to eat, different deckchairs and umbrellas under which to rest ... and why not, the waves of a hammock for indulging or a canoe ride into the sea. Boukari is a small fishing village, which continues after the house and closes in a small pier. Here and there several jetties where small boats are moored, making the environment very characteristic. If I were to vote, the house and the hosts deserve the best!

This house was just perfect for our beach vacation! The house is very nice and beach cottage feeling. The three tiered garden was amazing. There were several places to sit and relax in the garden and an outside kitchen. The beach was right across the street. It was a beautiful calm beach. There were a few quaint authentic restaurants you could walk to from this house. The village feels very Greek and authentic. I would recommend this house and the whole experience of Boukari Bay to anyone. We only had 3 full days here and we would have loved to stay ten more! The hosts were very nice, responsive and accommodating. If you are looking for a true Greek experience on the beach, this house is for you! Our two boys 7 and 9 years old had a blast too.

From our meeting at the airport to our goodbyes as we left, we felt very welcome at Eleni's house. Our first trip to Corfu, we hired a car and visited many other lovely places, but it was Boukari Bay that really impressed us with its quiet beauty and ever changing views of the Ionian Sea and mountains of Albania. The house itself is placed perfectly and is well-equipped. Cooking in the large outdoor kitchen was a joy. Eleni came one evening with some fresh fish to show us how to cook a local dish. The garden is a really special feature of this property, with spreading trees, flowering plants, herbs in pots and a wide choice of seating areas to enjoy. Strolling to a fish taverna in the evening is easy. We loved Sparos' simple place nearby, and ate a couple of times at other smarter establishments along the road too. All were welcoming, laid back and reasonably priced. Sitting at the edge of the gentle sea as the sun goes down, eating a delicious meal with friends is a pleasure which will remain with us for a long time. Thank you Eleni and family.

Eleni is a great hostess who immediately gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The house with the beautiful garden was great and the view incredible. Eleni and her family gave us during our stay great tips for events and outings which we Corfu could detect even better. Lovely house, lovely quiet location on an amazing island!

We stayed 4 people in Eleni's place for almost one week, and it was wonderful vacation. Eleni and her daughter are so kind and nice people that when they welcomed us we felt like at home. The house is beautiful and comfortable, the garden is huge bigger than we thought with kitchen outside and barbecue. We spent great evenings there with delicious local food. In the morning we went swimming - the beach and see is so close that u can hear it in the bedroom :) Eleni was very helpful - always gave us hints how to find the way or butcher :) This is the best location i found on Airbnb so far, if u go to Corfu this is the best place to choose. I will come back to Eleni for sure :)

We had a lovely holiday at Eleni's property. The family were so welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that everything ran smoothly for us. The property is in a beautiful location, perfect for a peaceful family holiday. The property has a lovely garden with outdoor kitchen and plenty of space to keep the children entertained. Air conditioning in the bedrooms meant that even with the high temperatures we got a good night's sleep. The quiet bay across the road was ideal. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This place is amazing! The house is fully equipped for a family beach vacation. The location is great, very quiet, the garden is amazing. The place is much nicer than what you can get from the pictures on airbnb. Nikolaos the owner was super nice and helpful. Thank you guys for a great vacation!

The house is a fairy-tale villa set in a beautifully tended garden across a quiet road to the sea. It has an outdoor kitchen (additional to the inside one) to enjoy outside eating. The house was immaculate and tastefully decorated, Corfu beach style. The family left us a small welcoming pack, milk etc to get us started which was much appreciated. Food shops are a short drive away but there is a great, reasonably priced tavern opposite. The family met us at the house initially and popped by a couple of days into our stay to give us local sight-seeing/restaurant tips and to check we had everything we needed. All in all, this made for a wonderful week's holiday.

We spent one week at this marvelous place. We did some travelling on scooter on the island only to find out that our place was the best. The beach wasn't sandy and very wide which was an advantage. Other places were much more crowded. We could use beds in the beach which made our stay on the beach much more comfortable. Our host arranged for pick and drop service from the airport and this proved to be an excellent solution. The restaurant nearby offered very good food and we were delighted. People were very friendly and relaxed. We would definitely recommend the place and already are planning to come back. Thank you

We liked the apartment very much – it’s nice and clean. Photographs completely reflect the reality. Beautiful view over the sea which is located just by the apartment. The beach is not large (just several meters of the coast line) but this is a private beach! You can go swimming before breakfast, stay there with a laptop during day time or with a glass of wine in the evening. The place is very quiet and calm. Don’t worry about the road in front of the house: it is not a main road, you will not see cars too often there. There are several taverns in the immediate proximity from the apartment, and within a walking distance (10-15 minutes walking) you will find about 5 more taverns. We came with a rented car, therefore we did not have a need to use buses. You can reach Kerkyra by car by an easy and simple road. But if you want to get to the Western coast you will have to take a more difficult narrow road passing by mountain villages. There you will find wide and long sandy beaches with sand dunes. Here you can practice windsurfing and kiting. You will be surprised with unusual and gorgeous sceneries. The Southern part of Corfu is mountainous with cliffs, but the waves are slightly lower and water is warmer than in the Northern and North-West part of the island. What an awesome place it is!

It's a beautiful place, the sea warm and crystal-clean, the apartment is comfortable and nice -like in the pictures - so I recommend it heartly. We were there with two children ( 3 and 6 years old) and they really enjoyed it, we would like to return here again. Aristea is a great host, very kind and helpful, she immediatly helped us, when we needed something.

Miejsce do odpoczynku całkiem niezłe, jednakże dość daleko od sklepów i brak podstawowych potrzeb takich jak choćby zakup pieczywa itp. Gospodarze bardzo mili i pomocni. Mary nie jest żadnym gospodarzem, a wydaje się, że tylko pośrednikiem. Prawdziwym gospodarzem jest Nikos, który we wszystkim pomaga. Woził nas po najtańszych sklepach i tawern. Miejsce to zdecydowanie polecam do całkowitego wypoczynku. Andrew

We practice airbnb for some time, are happy every time but Roumanades Estate was one of the best experiences, perhaps the best. The place is magic, this is an old fortified farmhouse set in an olive grove so in the countryside. On arrival there was one wish, take a book and let the hours pass in the large hammock hanging under the trees. The house is both charming with antique furniture and pretty paintings and is well equipped: bedding is comfortable, wifi, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher (no washing machine), and a host of little touches charming that make you feel as good or better than at home. Hosting Loukia and Spiros is the image of the place, they were extremely friendly and helpful. The farm is located south of the island, near beautiful beaches and beautiful ports. We do not have all visited because'd want to take home. Here is a place where we would return with great pleasure. Thank you again to the hosts for giving us the opportunity to stay at Roumanades Estate.

We had a lovely stay at Roumanades. The house is really beautiful- comfortable, clean, stylish and very well equipped with everything you might need. Loukia and Spiros could not have been more friendly and welcoming. They even waited for our very late arrival to bring us to the house where a cake and homemade jam awaited us. I think the jam was the best we ever tasted! If you're visiting Southern Corfu this is a wonderful base.

This is the right spot of you want to stay away from busy resorts and are willing /eager to explore Corfu beaches by car. Some of the best ones are about 20 minutes away (our number 1 is Halikounas on the way to which you can buy wine straight from a local wine maker. The local beach takes just 5 minutes on foot to get to but it is just a narrow strip covered by marbles. The house is perfect for 4 people and even a dog (we brought ours along). We didn't use the stove once but the kitchen allows you to cook all day long if this is what you come to Greece for. The house is air-conditioned but it also allows you to open its French windows on three sides to let the air in - for a fantastic feeling of freedom and space. There is a restaurant at the sea within walking distance. Other two are about 1 km away, just like the closest grocery store. The nearest city (Messonghi) is only 3 km away. Whatever you may need, you will get it there.

If you want to be in a silence korner of Korfu and have a flat with a lot of space, a nice view and a realy lovely host than you are at the right place. If you have the attitude of a litle prince or princess and search for the feeling of a hotel with servants, so please stay away!

We have stayed August 7 to 14, 5 adults and two small children. on arrival we found Mr. dora kind and discretely helpful, very meticulous, and at first glance a bit stingy. The house was really small, the pictures looked much bigger it is much more welcoming. Input discreet double bedroom with two single beds pushed together and a folded blanket to unite them, No wardrobe and only a small bedside table is a dresser, the very hard mattresses, and tiny pillows with stained sottofodere is dirty, the color arranged sheets different. single bedroom with two single beds, hard mattresses, tiny pillows with stained sottofodere is dirty, the sheets all different not the same color or a complete set. The kitchen, small, clean and full of everything but very old and some even arranged it. The small bathroom without a bidet and a person you could not stand, overnight smelled like sewage, the toilet seat was not ever keep it high is touched with the hand, the very old bathroom furniture. The living room no bigger than a closet in the photos looked bigger with a couch (sofa bed in theory), but it was full of dust and not a sofa bed. To sleep in the living room we found a pallet with blankets folded as mattress, the TV was like in the picture. The air conditioning is good and refreshes almost part of the house. The garden is not maintained, the chairs worn by time and if it is more than 90kg helmets and you get hurt, and little Unlimited in the evening you can dine out because it is plan of mosquitoes, the sea is not near as it looks in the photos, not there are beaches nearby if you are with small children. During our stay there was water, and the facility is provided by a well where the water smells and unaccommodating. One morning we were without electricity. The dog of the hostess ate there ruining the shoe completely. Every time we went out from home had to tie the dog so not ran away, barking continuously and constantly laccava our legs. The house is very from villages. The most convenient and nearest beach and almost 10 km away Santa Barbara restaurant and how he chose Barbados restaurant owner called Costa and the service was excellent with modest prices. Personally I do not suggest this apartment to anyone as it is located in a remote place especially if you are with small children. The fidbek who have read before booking refers to a structure which is always named Sofia apartment but that is completely new with pool and all accessories x stay in tranquility. So if you decide to book this apartment inquire well in order to avoid disappointments as it happened to us.

Helena's place is very lovely! It's near the sea, it has a balcony where to enjoy the morning or evening sun. The place has a kitchen where you can cook and everything you need (different tavernas or supermarkets) are rather near. Since we rented a car it was perfect that we could also park there. Even though we never visited the local beach, it is 2 minutes walk from the place and the water is wonderful!

Helena's place is beautiful and just steps from the beach. There is an incredible view and lovely fig trees in the yard. This was a very peaceful, quiet location.

The description of listing was accurate enough. The house seems a little bit bigger in the pictures than in reality, but we did not mind that at all. The seaview is stunning. The garden was amazing - with lemon trees, figs, oranges..Beautiful. We had no trouble to find the house, we received a very detailed description of the route. There is a beach close to the house, just a few minute walk from the house. Some beautiful sand beaches could be reached easily by car within 20 minutes. All in all, we enjoy our stay in Corfu do much! I really loved it. Hope I will come back soon.
