I stayed at Deej's place for a weekend in December. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the guesthouse has very warm and Deej went out of his way to be friendly and make sure we had the best stay possible. The location is great - very close to Woodstock, and about 30-40 minutes to Killington ski area. I would definitely stay here again!

Great experience in a cozy cabin right in the heart of Woodstock! Wonderful hospitality & clear that a lot of thought was put into creating this guest home. Very private location, perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Would recommend.

We spent three cosy nights here and loved it. The cabin is so close to Woodstock and also to a great hike on the Appalachian trail - walk to Luce’s Lookout! Book now, you can’t go wrong. This is it, you found it - comfy bed, fantastic host, unbeatable rushing stream below. Would be great in any weather!

Dave’s little cabin is perfect! We had the most relaxing two nights, with sounds of water, restful sleep and the idilc cabin experience. It was freezing cold outside, and Dave went ahead prior to our check in and made sure its nice and warm inside by the time we got there. We LOVED this place and the town of Woodstock and can’t wait to be back!

We had an amazing weekend going to downtown Woodstock and exploring the area, while spending the nights relaxing by the outdoor fire pit with the sound of the stream in the background. This truly is a special place! Deej went above and beyond our expectorations. We felt very welcomed with his overall hospitality and genuine kindness. He provided great recommendations for food and local sight seeing. Thank you again for sharing the ‘Cozy Little Spot’, we can’t wait to come back!

It is a cozy and clean place to stay. The host is very sweet, and the snacks and food prepared are very convenient and delicious.There are a lot of books to read and plenty games to play.We had a good time there.

Heidi and Robert offer a lovely, peaceful space. There are two cozy bedrooms, full bathroom and kitchenette with all you could need. The place is exceptionally clean with thoughtful touches. I highly recommend staying here and definitely will again. Heidi was responsive and gave us clear and easy instructions as well as great restaurant and hiking recommendations. It’s a perfect setting for a stay in Vermont.

A+ place! We had a blast walking around Heidi's place. The surrounding areas were so beautiful and the place had thoughtful touches such as snacks, board games, etc. We would come back!

We booked this place on a whim because there was nothing available in Woodstock and we needed a place to crash on our way to Stowe. I am so glad we did because our stay was amazing and exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of privacy and space. You will have snacks, food for breakfast, and coffee which we appreciated. The views in the fall are spectacular. I was bummed we were only staying for one night. I would definitely recommend staying here and plan to return in the future!

Friendly and accommodating hosts! Great amenities, comfortable bedding and sparkling clean all-around. Just a 10 minute drive to everything in Woodstock. Very quiet and peaceful location. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending to anyone looking to check out the Woodstock area but not wanting to pay the outrageous rates for accommodations downtown. Five stars all around!

This location is amazing! Carefree Vacations Office was easy to check-in/ check-out. Quechee is beautiful - view was great! Hot tub on deck was clean and great to use!

This Quechee house is absolutely perfect for anyone interested in enjoying everything New England has to offer through a more quiet, private setting. The views are stunning, the property is clean and well maintained, and the managers are attentive and communicative. Five stars!

Great place to have a family vacation

Home was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was solidly furnished. Great deck with hot tub and grill. 10 minutes off the interstate but a world away.

Nancy was the kindest and sweetest host! She made us feel welcome, comfortable, and at home with her hospitality and amazing cooking (it's true, her blueberry pancakes are truly exceptional)! The house and its surroundings were beautiful, especially in the snow. The bedroom windows look out to the woods. The living room is cozy with a fireplace. The house is perfectly located, just 10 mins from Quechee Gorge, Sugarbush Farm, and the center of Woodstock village. Nancy's home is an amazing place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful and cozy cabin-like experience with some character during a weekend getaway. Thank you for such a lovely time, Nancy! : )

On a quick trip to Vermont I was able to book a last minute stay at Nancy’s place. She went out of her way to accommodate me and her place was great!

Nancy's place was perfect for our one night stay. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and tidy and the shower was hot. We enjoyed chatting with her during our stay and learned much about the area and some tips for the rest of our trip down to Boston. Overall a great stay.

Nancy's place is one of the nicest Airbnb we have stayed in. Nancy was so welcoming and we enjoyed a delicious relaxing breakfast together- apple pancakes and Vermont bacon- delicious. She was so helpful including a great recommendation for dinner and lending me nail polish remover, which I had forgotten to bring. The house is lovely with a king size bed and a nice modern bathroom with a skylight. Everything you need was provided in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere- we really felt at home. Nancy is an incredibly friendly host, first of all! She went out of her way to make us scones before she left for work, and they were delicious! She was eager to give advice and tips in the area, and made our stay there very comfortable! The bathroom and bedroom set up was very clean and thoughtful, and I would definitely stay here again!

Sharon’s place was perfect for a quick weekend ski trip. It’s a 2-3 minute drive from downtown Woodstock and just under 30 minutes to killington. Cozy place with all the necessities.

Sharon's place is excellent. We went for a ski trip to Vermont and to the Suicide Six resort her place is literally less than a 5 min drive. Aside from the beautiful wooden touches, it's a quaint spot surrounded by natural beauty just north of Woodstock Vermont. Downtown is about a 10 min drive and Suicide Six, as I mentioned before, is right around the corner. If you're looking for a spot to hit the slopes and that is also close to Woodstock, this is your place. Loved it!

Great place for a weekend getaway!

Pomfret Place is a gem of a space to stay in: cozy, nicely decorated but comfortable, beautiful view out the living room window, all of the amenities you might have forgotten to bring from home, and, most importantly, a kind and helpful owner/host, Sharon. The space would be great for a couple or a family: our 3 year old loved the entire apartment (also, Sharon’s sweet dog), and was very happy to sleep on the futon in the living room. We didn’t feel that the heater was noisy at all (only came on once in the night), and we liked how private the space feels, with its separate entrance & lock box key, yet we felt comforted by the fact that Sharon lived above and could help if needed. The kitchen is complete, and she thoughtfully provides coffee beans & grinder, granola, yogurt, and apples, which we appreciated. The proximity to the center of town was fantastic, and Sharon has great advice on hikes in the surrounding area (she sent us to one that was only 3 min drive away, and gorgeous!). We would love to visit Woodstock in the future, and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time! We were running behind schedule and Sharon waited up and welcomed us at check-in. She was very responsive in communicating details before our trip and reachable during our stay. The place was in wonderful condition— clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and beautiful. Also, Sharon had some coloring books which our toddler enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.

Took my wife to Vermont for her birthday weekend and we couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience. We were surprised when we arrived, Jack and Sandi’s place was right next to the skiing mountain (suicide 6) and other restaurants/bars so it was very convenient. The actual house was clean, very cozy and with a massive bathtub. We enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb and will be sure to come back again! Thanks Jack and Sandi!

We had a lovely weekend staying at Jack's! The room was nice and clean and amenities were great. We were skiing all day in the wet rain and Jack offered to dry our clothes for us so we would be good to go the next day! Would definitely stay here again. It is not far from lots of great restaurants and beautiful views.

My partner and I stayed in this space during the New Year holiday week. Jack and his wife were great hosts and had plenty of recommendations for local restaurants in nearby Woodstock (a ~5 min drive from the airbnb). The room was the perfect cozy retreat for us--quiet, clean and well-maintained. The jacuzzi tub was an added bonus and made our stay that much more relaxing!

Our stay at Jack’s was amazing from start to finish! The space was exactly as pictured and close to the town of Woodstock (the reason for our trip). We are city folk and were initially surprised at the lack of cell service (non-existent...but we were able to tap into wifi in certain places in the house) at the house, but later embraced it and enjoyed our few days “off the grid”! Would definitely consider staying at Jack’s again if/when we return toVT!

The location is very beautiful and quiet, both Jim and Juli were lovely and provided lots of useful information about the area, and staying in a camper that was older than me was great fun and a unique experience. Juli was a wonderful host! I'm usually a tent camper so this glamp site was an excellent stay. Beautiful pond and set-up with great attention to detail. Very fun!

Janet’s space is adorable and efficient! I stayed for a couple of days - she’s extremely quick to respond to questions, has put so much thought into the space...I truly felt at home and didn’t want to leave! Perfect for both short-term and long-term stays.

I booked Janet’s place as an unplanned and last minute stay (my mother suffered from a heart attack and was at nearby DHMC-I live some distance away and needed to be closer to my momma). Janet was a thoughtful host who checked in to make sure I had everything I needed yet also gave me privacy and space. The space was quaint and welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. Although I essentially only used Janet’s place as a place to lay my weary head, I highly recommend.

It was such a great experience for me and all my friends to stayed at Heidi& Robert’s place. The beautiful home is warm, clean and cozy, we even have fireplace in our rooms!!!! For someone who usually lives in the city, this place is a perfect getaway! Quite, peaceful and beautiful sceneries! Not only that, Heidi and Robert were so helpful, thoughtful and accommodating throughout our stay is a huge plus. Heidi’s ‘Starry Hill’ is truly a gem. From the propane thermostat-controlled wood stoves in the bedrooms for a full night of warmth, to the well-appointed kitchen with every gadget you could possibly need, this home has it all. The cozy family room had an actual wood burning stove which we sat around each night, and reflected on the day. Heidi and her husband were so responsive. Even ploughing first thing in the morning after a good night’s snow. We enjoyed the short drive to and from town. We experienced a great combination of rural quiet living, and the more lively village hustle and bustle. We’re so excited we picked Starry Hill. We will be back!

We loved the experience that our family had in your home. We definitely noticed the skilled craftsmanship in the building materials and cabinet layouts. We loved the freedom to roam as we were only a family of 3. My son took advantage of the sled in the shed and went down the hill for a couple of hours. And the fireplace set up was so easy. Everything was clean and beautifully decorate. We also loved your recommendation to the Pied Piper restaurant and Woodstock Inn...both were excellent. Great overall experience

As advertised house rental, in a great location. Loved the spot, convenience, relaxation, lack of TV and style of home. It's a lovely home. We are so pleased to have enjoyed it for a long weekend. Heidi is available, made check in easy and is organized. Surely we recommend.

This was our third time staying at Heidi's wonderful cabin. As always it was a great experience. The location feels quiet and secluded but is super close to the amenities of Woodstock. The cabin is cozy at any time of year with a screened in porch to enjoy in the warm months and toasty heaters for the cold months.

Heidi has an incredible house - it is everything you want when you plan a trip to Vermont. The location is perfect - it is both very private yet very close to everything. The house is incredibly clean, and decorated perfectly with a lot of extra touches. Heidi is so easy to communicate with and really goes above and beyond to make your stay great. This is one of our favorite places we have stayed and we plan to go back often.

Perfect for my friend and myself who only needed a place to sleep and shower. Bring laptop or iPad if you need a little pre-sleep entertainment. We used our phones and headphones. Other than that it’s a comfy little room and Alex was very clear and helpful. Convenient and cozy.

The place is clean and near the ski resort. There are amazing restaurants nearby. Alex is a great skier and I had him for to days to coach me on what to improve w my ski skills. The room is the only place being rented and not the whole place so I have to find another place where it is more spacious as I couldn’t possibly just stay in the room after skiing. Great place to stay if you are at Killington, very close to ski area.

The yurt was great for a fall trip to VT! It had more amenities than I expected for a yurt, and it was fun to use the wood stove. I wouldn't stay here when the weather gets too cold, since the space does take a while to heat up and going outside for the shower/bathrooms can get chilly, but it's a great way to spend a weekend! Even though there is a fast ethernet connection, we loved disconnecting and playing some board games by the fire!

Hannah’s yurt was the perfect home base for a beautiful fall weekend in Vermont! It was chilly but the wood stove kept us nice and warm. Check in and communication was very easy, short drive to many great restaurants in Woodstock, and lots of nice hiking trails in the area!

One of the best places I've ever stayed at! We met Matt on the second night and he was incredibly friendly. We didnt meet Hannah but she checked and cleaned the facilities daily. This yurt was fantastic. Starry sky, warm fire, clean and comfy place to sleep. These are truly "superhosts" and we will be back!

This yurt is everything! So much peace, quiet, and privacy! Everything you could need or need to know about the yurt + appliances / accessories are written down for you by Hannah. I love the outdoor shower, composting toilet, and wood stove / fireplace. The lake and general store are in walking distance as well. I didn’t want to leave lol

Alexandra and Martha’s place is beautiful, homey, and very iconic VT! I stayed there while taking a pastry class at King Arthur. The distance from King Arthur was perfect. Alexandra and Martha’s home was just the place I needed to come “home” to at the end of a full day. I enjoyed having friendly hosts and guests to chat with (and share pastries with), but also enjoyed the quiet of my own room. My room was spotless, cozy and comfortable. The shared bathroom was also very clean and easily accessible. I would definitely stay with Alexandra and Martha again on a future trip to VT! Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the granola at breakfast...mmmmmm!!

Place is AWESOME! I will say the photos make the cottage seem like it’s seclude but it is quite close to the main home. HOWEVER! Once in side it was a very private and romantic stay! Great host clean and comfortable stay..they BED is to die for, was very hard to make the 11 o’clock check out laying in the bed!

Coley and Eric’s is a perfect spot to stay. The little house is very clean and has everything you could need (games, pots and pans, shampoo). I would stay here again anytime!

My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our anniversary. We were not disappointed! The cottage was so cute and cozy and just the right size for the two of us. Coley and Eric were always in touch via the airbnb app and were more than happy to get the hot tub started for us and to schedule the freshly baked bread for when we were at the cottage. It was delicious! The cottage was a quick 30 min drive from Woodstock where we went three times! It was about an hour away from Plymouth where we went snowmobiling. And an hour and a half away from both Burlington and the Ice Castles in New Hampshire. It was a great location, as it was pretty central to everything we wanted to do during our trip, but it was just far enough off the beaten path :) Coley and Eric always had the driveway plowed for us, as there was a lot of snow! We are hoping to be able to come back in the summer to visit the sheep and see the fruit bushes they are planting. Highly recommend!!

I was at Coley’s place to spend a few days skiing with my grandson. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay: the house is beautiful and well equipped. I love this place because it is quiet, zen, in the middle of nature and at the same time so comfortable. I will be back!

This is our second time at the Rose of Sharon cottage at Beforest Gardens, simply because it is perfect, and we want to use our money to support the work of love these two humans do in the world. We spent the weekend reading, writing, relaxing and thinking in heaven. Everything about our stay was above and beyond from the fresh eggs and bread to the massage. In other words, it’s the care and hospitality of the hosts that makes this air b n b so much more than an air b n b. It is an experience instead; one that will give you hope for humanity and this earth island home we share.

Arrival instructions were great. We had a great time in this condo. It is right out of the slopes of Quechee, although when we visited there wasn’t enough snow. But still the area is lovely and the condo was perfectly comfortable for us. We only had one issue with the alarm system but it worked out ok. I would recommend it is fixed and also better instructions for opening the damper for using the fire place (at first we could not find it). But once we did it worked perfectly. Thank you!

A perfect spot in Quechee! So cozy and quick access to ski and snow adventures! You feel a winter warmth the second you walk in the home and it gets even better next to the fireplace.

Bob’s place was a great place to stop in for a good nights sleep. The area was quiet and scenic. Bob was very accommodating to us, allowing a late night check in time. We awoke in the morning to pancakes and bacon. Well worth the drive off the highway.

If you're looking for a quiet get away with a beautiful view, this is the perfect place. Todd was a very easy going guy and we look forward to returning to the farm. The cabin was clean and updated and we were welcomed with eggs and scones. We also enjoyed a walk around the property in the snow covered woods. Next time we'll try out the fire pit. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Fat Sheep Farm is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a country experience in Vermont. It is quiet and somewhat secluded, but not a far drive from any of the surrounding towns. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and cozy. The view from our front porch was beautiful and their 60 acre property was the perfect place to get our dog out for a walk. We hope to come back and enjoy Fat Sheep Farm in the warmer months!

This was an amazing stay! The view from the cabin in the morning was breathtaking. The cabin was BEAUTIFUL and so so so clean. I couldn’t find a spec of dust anywhere. I would definitely go back.

Wonderful cabin offering amazing views! As described in the listing and even better than expected! The perfect Vermont getaway just far enough out of town offering the perfect amount of privacy and peace yet close to many very cute restaurants providing fabulous local food! We were welcomed to the farm with fresh eggs and delicious homemade baked scones , the cabin had everything we needed and more, one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have ever stayed at, very comfortable bed and great amenities! :) Will definitely be back in the future!

Anna is a wonderful host and very welcoming. She was easy to communicate with and the room was very comfortable and outfitted with everything I could have needed. The mattress is very comfortable. The location is close to the Dartmouth campus and Anna provided me with taxi information that was very convenient. I think the distance would have been walkable except for the roads and winter weather at this time of the year. I definitely hope to stay here again!

Just MAGICAL. Super welcoming and comfortable. Juli and Jim have clearly thought through dozens of little details to make staying at their place a fanatic experience. We were able to cook breakfast and dinner and had all the pans we needed. The area is very quiet and it was super private and beautiful. There is literally no cell reception anywhere near it unless you go to one of the nearby stores/restaurants. They do have WiFi on location, so just make sure you have your destinations plugged into your GPS while you're at the cabin with the WiFi! This was a wonderful spot, the hosts were really thoughtful and communicative. They made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

Juli and Jim’s place is awesome! We probably had the best sleep of the entire trip in their camper. Very comfortable, very quiet, and great amenities. Check in info and directions were very detailed and clear. Great communication.

I enjoyed my stay at Denise’s awesome big blue house! It was the perfect location to get to DHMC (15 mins), WRJ/VA, and downtown Hanover (maybe 7 mins). Latham House is right down the way too! The house is impeccably clean and she has thoughtful touches throughout. The room was spacious with a large closet. The bathroom is huge! She had lots of recommendations for fun things to do in the area and even took time to take me to try mountain biking! Very welcoming and felt like home away from home. Highly recommend Denise’s home for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish place to rest while exploring the Upper Valley or for rotations.

Super clean and nice loft apartment. It was minimally decorated which I always appreciate- not to much 'stuff' around. Beautiful wood cabin on a quiet street. Full kitchen and fridge which was spotless. Hosts provide what you need and got back to me with linen request. It's centrally located just right out of downtown Woodstock with plenty to do. We were traveling to Woodstock for a wedding at the Inn and were so excited to find this place (just a 10 minute walk uphill) from all the charm of Woodstock's main drag. The apartment was larger than I expected and had a nice view of the colorful hillside. Bob was a very friendly host, giving us great hiking and food recommendations. We've already recommended the spot to my in-laws for their next visit!

I can’t say enough good about My experience here! I was taking a multi-day class at King Arthur Flour and chose this listing over staying at a hotel. I’m so glad I did! The drive is literally 5 minutes to King Arthur and the suite of bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom is very private and comfortable. I really appreciated how communicative Rob was — he made checking in so easy and was very friendly and easy to talk with (he’s a huge music buff and recommended great albums I had never heard of!) Kerstin's place is great! Large room with plenty of space to spread out. Having the private bath was wonderfull. Kersrin was super friendly and easy to communicate with. No problems at all. For the price point and locating there is nothing better!

Kerstin is such a warm and welcoming person, it was a pleasure to stay at her place. She had some great tips for exploring Vermont and was always easy to reach for any questions I had. The Blue Room is very spacious, has a beautiful view and a very soft, comfortable bed. The whole house is really cozy, and Kerstin's three adorable cats make it even more homely. I had a wonderful stay and can't thank Kerstin enough for her kindness and hospitality.

Cozy, warm, friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and airy with beautiful view of garden, mountain and pear tree. Kerstin provided helpful directions for exploring the area, too, including what to avoid during hunting season. Thetford and surrounding area are perfect for a quiet, relaxing retreat. The place was quite charming, with a nice location off the beaten path and plenty of space to take in the calm, quiet Vermont atmosphere. David provided everything I needed for a quick stay. One thing to note is if you are visiting in spring/wet weather the drive in can be quite muddy and a challenge if you don't have the right car.

David is a very nice person and responds to any questions or concerns in timely fashion. It exceeded our expectations with the great hospitality and having some simple things for us upon arrival and throughout our stay (coffee, fresh eggs, soups, and other items). I recommend this place to everyone going skiing or just hanging out in vermont. Thank you so much David and we should be back next winter season!!!

David was an awesome host. His guest suite was very very clean and was prepped with everything we needed for our 3-day snowboarding in Vermont. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay while we visited. P.S. Don't be like us and get scared by his waterfowl. He acts intimidating when he comes up to you, but is a softee on the inside. We loved being greeted by his farm animals every morning and evening.

We really enjoyed staying at David and Jennifer’s place, and they were very responsive even though we had a last minute booking. It was warm, cozy, and extremely comfortable, we would have extended our stay if it was available. The location was nice, there was a good tavern, grocery store, and coffee shop about 7 min drive away. The kitchen was fully equipped with good dishes and pots and a lot of spices. We appreciated the fresh eggs from their chickens in the morning. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great secluded place. The ducks and geese are really cool, and they come up to the driveway for you to get a close look. The stay has plenty of room for two people, and the amenities make you feel very comfortable during your stay. Futon worked well for a second person to sleep. Highly recommended

What a great place to stay! My boyfriend and I went skiing at Killington and wanted a place to stay for the long weekend. What a great apartment for such a good value. It was nice and clean and they had food for us in case we wanted it. It was also nice and quiet and the property was beautiful. Very close to to Quechee and Woodstock too. We loved it so much we were tempted to extend our stay!

We really enjoyed staying here and hope to be back in the future. The location is very convenient for exploring VT and NH. The hosts are fantastic and provided a delicious breakfast for us.

After researching many airbnb's in the area I chose Lisa's new listing. This turned out to be a great decision. Communication was good and she responded quickly. The living space in this suite was huge, clean and comfortable. Bigger and better than the pictures. They generously changed the breakfast offering to accommodate my son's dietary needs. If we ever return to the area again we will definitely book Lisa's place again.

Jo is an excellent host! She is very easy to communicate with and very acomidating. She even provided breakfast for my check in day, which was awesome as I worked the overnight at the hospital that previous night. She always made sure she didnt have any thing going on in the mornings when I came home from work. Its very nice to have a landloard that thinks of a quite environment for night nurses during the day. I also had to make some adjustments to my stay and she was acomidating to that as well! Jo is the best host I've ever had on air bnb. 10/10 would stay again!

I had a tough time getting here my first night (3 tornadoes in CT) and Jo was so wonderful to wait up for me, leave me something to eat since I had been driving 12 hours, and greet me with a smile and a hug! The cottage is so cozy and the location is amazing!! I highly recommend staying here and seeing all this charming town has to offer!!!

She even helped me out with the dog who was sick while I was away at work. The apartment itself was quaint and very quiet. Jo was more than open to discussing ways to improve the stay for those in the future. The house is in the middle of the woods, so there are some gnats/mosquitoes which can be expected. Overall an excellent experience, and if I find myself in the area again, I would love to stay with Jo!
