  • Linda’s place was amazing. It was so cozy and had a very welcoming atmosphere. She provided lots of local tips, too! Linda was kind, easy to communicate with, and just overall great. I’d definitely stay there again!

  • The Hideaway is a gem! Linda and Robert have a slice of heaven here. We loved the quiet beauty of the place, the gardens are beautiful and we loved watching the birds and strolling around the property. The Hideaway is cosy and welcoming. We especially loved the wonderful views of the gardens from every room. I’ve stayed in many Air BnBs in the PT area over the years and this is one of my top two.

  • Excellent communication with Linda.

  • Linda was so kind and accommodating for our late arrival. The space was beautiful. We enjoyed the windows and watched the birds in the morning. Thanks again Linda!

  • Hilltop Hideaway was everything we needed and felt like home away from home. The grounds are lovely, space is cozy and comfortable and sparkling clean. Can't say enough about Linda's hospitality. She's so friendly and caring and we felt very welcome. We appreciated her tips for things to do and her insight into Port Townsend's community. Our only regret is that we weren't staying longer. Next time!

One Month Minimum ! Large Apartment in Victorian Era Duplex near Courthouse. Very Quiet + Convenient. Large Bedroom with full size brass bed and sitting area with full size foldout couch/bed. Parlor with couch/fold out full bed and extra Bedroom with full size bed available for $20/night ea.
We like to share our house using one booking per month, start times flexible. But let us know whatever your scheduling needs are! We accommodate longer stays. Most of the first floor of a two story 1890's Victorian House. This large suite of rooms is private and has front door access direct to easy street parking.
This neighborhood is very quiet. A nice short walk to the Food Coop, the beach at the Boat Haven or Uptown and Downtown.
  • This place is in a great location to get to the food coop and library. Along with various other small businesses in Port Townsend. Keep in mind, there is no microwave—we still make up bottles, so we had to get creative. It stayed very warm and was a great price for us to stay while looking for permanent housing. Loved being able to go on walks in the evenings. This is a great place for those who enjoy vintage environments. Ron was amazing at letting us know about the local area and very understanding! Easy check in. I would recommend this for a couple (possibly with one child) or pay for the additional room if you can! We had three children five and under and probably should have sprung for the extra room!

    Darbie2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Ron and his wife are very accommodating. The house is in a wonderful location, and it was fun walking into town everyday. I had everything I needed

  • This place was great! Wonderful location, comfortable space and great hosts!

    Tom2019-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time at Ron Paul's place. It's the first floor of an older house, furnished with antiques and exceptionally clean. The location is terrific--a quick walk to downtown, Aldrich Market, and Farmers' Market. Bonus points for fawns in the backyard!

    Suzanne2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is inside of a large older house with plenty of space and privacy. It's a bit funky, in that old house sort of way, but also charming and low key. The apartment is in a really great location that's walking distance to everything downtown. I acclimated quickly and felt right at home for the duration of my stay. The host was very kind and quick with his responses. The storage space was more than sufficient thanks to lots of built-in shelving by the front entrance. The full size kitchen was well equipped and there was even a backup refrigerator in the laundry room if the unit's mini-fridge got full. Overall I enjoyed my stay and felt this listing was of a very good value.

    Tiffany2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint, charming place furnished with antiques. Very clean. Nicely-supplied kitchen. Pretty walk to downtown and uptown. Fawns in the backyard!

    Suzanne2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is spacious but has a cozy feeling. I enjoyed the short walk to Uptown and downtown--just a few short blocks. Ron is the ideal host and responded immediately to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I love the light in this apartment, lots of windows that make it feel airy and bright.

    Debra2017-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great host. Fully equipped space. WiFi, hot water, kitchen, washer and dryer. Deer in the back yard. Convenient to everything Port Townsend. Could not be more satisfied.

This unique private penthouse suite has won awards as a romantic getaway. The tree house feeling bedroom is in a turreted tower. Snuggle in a feather topper mattress watching the sunrises over the water, Cascade Mountains and Olympic range. The double-sided tub soaks two. Includes kitchenette, ground coffee and a cozy sitting room with walkout skylights. The window seat offers an additional place to sleep. Upgrades include champagne, roses, bath salts, massage oils. Just ask!
From your bed, you can enjoy an expansive view of the shipping lanes as they funnel into the Puget Sound. Watch the sun rise over the Cascades and set over the Olympics. The space is for adults only and we have fun with it. We enjoy doing the romantic upgrade or stocking food or treats for special occasions. Sleeping in the candle-lit turret on a feather-topped bed, the walk-out skylights and the large tub for 2 are commonly mentioned as favorites . Let us know if we can make your stay more special.
The views are amazing but the walkable location is what makes this fun . One of Port Townsend's great treasures, Chetzemoka Park and the beach, is a mere 3 blocks away. Houses in the neighborhood are varied and interesting -- creative expressions of nature-oriented homeowners. The Port Townsend Farmers Market (http://jcfmarkets.org/saturday), winner of the prestigious Washington State Farmers Market of the Year Award, is less than a ten-minute walk from your door. The market features regionally grown organic produce, line-caught fish and pasture-raised meats and eggs, locally-crafted cheeses and brews, and a whole lot more. Saturday mornings and Wednesday afternoons, April through December.
  • A gem.

    Jeff2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this place! We really enjoyed the bagels and the sweet touches like the robes (I wish we had been able to use those!). My favorite was that my husband was able to relax in the other room when he was unable to sleep and I was in bed and we were able to do so without it being a bother to either of us. That was so nice. We also LOVED the skylights and the architecture of the house. Truly an incredibly lovely home.

    Jena2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely airbnb to stay in -- perfect size, cozy, easy walk to down town, and you couldn't ask for a better view. Would definitely stay here again!

    Mariska2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect cozy getaway! We happened to have great weather, and the view from both rooms was amazing. We could see both Mt Baker and Mt Rainier. Nice touches like coffee, tea, snacks, and local lavender soap.

    Christel2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was perfect for our weekend getaway. The place was just the right size. The place was spotless! I loved reading all the notes from those who had stayed in the past. It is about a 20 minute walk to downtown. The bed is very comfy, you wake up to BEAUTIFUL VIEWS! There’s a sitting area with the best VHS tapes of all times. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

    Lindsay2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Ann’s place! The location was great and walkable to town in a beautiful neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed the bagels, popcorns, and granola snacks. The views of the water were spectacular! Would highly recommend a stay here.

    Grant2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to relax and recharge— my wife and I enjoyed lounging, reading, taking in the views, and getting nostalgic watching old movies on VHS. Perfect getaway!

    Megan2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed here years ago, before there WAS an AirBnB. It has always been a favorite spot for us but we have only just managed to get back. We still really love the place. It's such a cool and unique place and we enjoyed ourselves. Some things that we didn't see in the listing: There is a microwave and a minifridge there with a kitchen sink. You can see it in the photos, but I would list them as amenities. Ann was friendly and it's a great place for a couples retreat. Highly recommended. 1 word of caution, if you use the upper driveway, be careful backing out with foggy windows. There are some large rocks there that can (and did) damage the car. This is not a mark against Morgan Hill View Loft, it's just something to be careful of.

From the organic mattress to the garden space outside your door, I hope to offer you a space you will feel comfortable that adds to your stay in Port Townsend. The queen size bed makes this perfect for two, but there is also a foldaway/daybed for a third person. Dogs: Please see "Other Things to Note" below. This private setting is walking distance to Fort Worden and North Beach, and just a little further walk or drive to Uptown and Downtown. City business license #012047.
My place is in a sunny part of town and I am continually enhancing my natural gardens to attract birds and other wildlife. As a naturalist my space is nature-centric and eco-friendly. Most of my materials and cleaning supplies are organic or natural, and I strive to keep it a fragrance-free space. There is wifi, but the space is TV-free. Please remove your shoes indoors to help keep it clean.
My house is in a quiet neighborhood, high on a hill that slopes down to Fort Worden State Park, with trails, beaches, bunkers and views of Puget Sound and the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Fort Worden hosts festivals, events, and concerts year-round, as well as yoga, the Marine Science Center, the PT School of Arts, restaurants, and more.
  • We loved our stay! This is in an ideal location - right up the street from the entrance to Fort Warden and walking distance from downtown. The space itself was spotless and filled with thoughtful touches. Vicki was incredibly kind to host us under exceptional circumstances and was available whenever we had a question. Would love to stay again and highly recommend!

    Stevie2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Vicki's space is clean, open, and comfortable- snuggled in with trees, you feel like you are in your own little hideaway. Our visit went without a hitch and we would definitely come back again.

    William2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! The host is wonderful

    Natalie2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Vicki has created such a warm and welcoming refuge... so clean, tastefully decorated and quietly peaceful. I join the ranks of previous travelers who raved about the oh-so-comfy bed... Wow! The thoughtful kitchenette is just right for simple meal prep/reheating and I could easily see how inviting it would be to step out the door into your own private little courtyard for morning sun when weather permits. Being within easy walking distance of Fort Worden State Park (433 acres of deep woods, fields and beach) is a bonus. Thank you, Vicki, for this delightful sanctuary.

Tranquil room in Strawbale house located on the outskirts of picturesque Port Townsend approximately 30-40 minutes walk from historic downtown. We live on 3/4 acre with views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainer (on a clear day) and Port Townsend Bay. Although we are in the city limits, we feel as though we are out in the country! We are still a work in progress, so you may see some of our unfinished projects. IF THIS LISTING IS BOOKED WE HAVE ANOTHER LISTING: SUMPTUOUS ROOM IN STRAWBALE HOUSE.
Our hand-built strawbale house is located in lovely Port Townsend and is a 5 minute drive or 30-40 minute walk to downtown. Our little corner room is filled with light and views of Mt. Baker and Port Townsend bay as well as the green field below the house. The two-foot thick walls are hand plastered, lending an organic feel to the room as well as creating a warm and quiet space. Enjoy the 100% wool carpet, cotton sheets and natural linen duvet. In order to create a space where you can get away from the trappings of modern life, there is no TV in the room, but feel free to access our wi-fi to watch movies on your laptop using headphones. Our sweet kitty Tibby will most likely come and visit you as well! We are very social people and love to get to know our guests so please feel welcome to enjoy the rest of the house! The bathroom is just a few steps away across the hall from your room and has a separate shared toilet space. As you will see, our house and property is still a work in progress! There are still unfinished aspects to the house and we have yet to accomplish much outside landscaping due, in part, to a lack of deer fencing. Therefore, anything we plant will get eaten at this point! With this being said, our home is very comfortable and functional and we think you will love being here.
Although we are within the city limits, you will feel as if you are out in the country. Our little lane will take you past a charming neighborhood of houses but our 3/4 acre feels private and serene.
  • One of a kind oasis for weary travellers, swing dance workshop enthusiasts, and everyone inbetween! Comfortable bed and delicious Muesli in the morning, can't be beat by even the finest hotel! We would love to stay again!

    Laura2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was a sweet place to stay close to town. Sheryl and Tim were very open and welcoming. The room had a great view, was very clean and the bathroom heated floors were truly awesome. Their older kitty was really sweet and visited us a bit but was not disturbing in any way.

    Liz2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The kitty tibby was very friendly, he visited us throughout our stay, beautiful home and quiet unique. Sheryl was very nice and provided a lovely healthy homemade granola for us.

    Robert2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Sheryl and Tim’s home is very unique, displaying artistic details at every turn. Charming, comfortable, homey and inspiring. We felt at home immediately. Sheryl and Tim took care to help us get settled and oriented to their home and Port Townsend. We had a very pleasant stay.

    Thomas2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is thoughtfully built with a warm and creative character, organic feel and we felt right at home. Our room was very cosy and provided us with incredible sleep. In the morning we had coffee and muesli and a good chat with Sheryl before we hit the road. Can't recommend this place enough!

    Erla2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Sheryl and Tim are absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed an evening of conversation by the fire! It's a cozy home with great energy. Everything was clean and well kempt. I loved my stay here.

  • The studio apartment was everything we expected and more! Walkable to the center of town, the place has beautiful views and is quite cozy. This is a must stay location for anyone looking to enjoy everything that Port Townsend has to offer.

    David2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. For your money, this is DEFINITELY where to stay in Port Townsend. First off, the view is better than what you might imagine from the pictures—Victorians and the water are in frame! The bed is super comfy. Everything was spotless and bright and cheery. I was doing a writing retreat, and barely wanted to leave the room! Good WiFi, Netflix, easy check-in, everything I could have needed, and great communication with the host—who gave me a deal when I wanted to extend my stay (bc it was so nice)! You can hear other people in the building a little (old Victorian house), but it wasn’t problematic. Oh, and the location! Walkable to Uptown AND Downtown, just perfect. ALL OF THE STARS.

    Jaimee2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place was just perfect. Very cute and comfortable. Lots to do within walking distance, open mic night at the Uptown Pub, the most delicious take out pizza from Lanza's, an amazing bakery and grocery too. You'll see deer walking around the neighborhood! Just a short walk down the hill to Downtown. I am already looking forward to staying here again!

    Colleen2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to stay - highly recommended!

    Liesl2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was an awesome place to stay! We had everything we needed and more when it came to preparing and serving food, being comfortable and entertained, and there was even shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer and a hair straightener in the bathroom! In the closet I found a cot, a pack & play, a little high chair and a fan. There were books to read, wifi, and streaming TV as well as cable. The space was clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. On top of all that, Kelly was a wonderful host and responded quickly when my husband got sick and we couldn’t travel that day. She switched the dates for us last minute so we were still able to enjoy our trip when my husband got better. Thank you so much, Kelly! I would happily stay here again and again.

    Lesley2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • A+ stay, location, comfort, view, furnishings... all perfect. Would return at the drop of a hat. Port Townsend is great even in winter.

    Michael2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This little apartment was the perfect spot for our winter babymoon. Clean and cozy apartment, comfy bed, cute table for snacking/chatting/paying games (from which I could see the water and the ferry boat). Also a perfect location within easy walking distance of the main part of downtown (Waterstreet) and Uptown. The host left helpful suggestions for favorite restaurants and sites. Thanks for a great stay!

Truly one of a kind character setting just above high tide. Covered porch, well hidden, close up yacht harbor view. Very VINTAGE experience. Not for the spoiled or a remote control setting! It's 1936 here with wifi & dvd, library, two fireplaces, full scale kitchen, Comfortable Italian seating, custom furniture, cotton sheets, quilts. Quick access to sandy beach & downtown. new Stearns & Foster mattress, spa sink, oak floors new Frigidaire. Serene wooded yard, spacious privacy. Recess rocks!
We are often told the cottage possesses other worldliness. A refreshing, uncluttered habitat where relaxing comes easy. If you adore a slower pace. If you are expecting everything you have at home... Thats not our goal or decor.
The neighborhood is ultra contrasting. It can be a cartoon with the child pirates on their way to sailing class, a working maritime focal point with a sail loft, rigger and boatbuilders as our closest neighbors. The deer stop by, otter scurry through the yard...two restaurants are across the docks. Two spas are in the other direction and just as close. It all interfaces perfectly as the storybook cottage yard is a spacious treed traffic stopper and our cottage is the little charm bracelet on the corner!
  • One of a kind cottage!

    Traci2020-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Nice rustic cottage in an excellent location

    Greer2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was homey, spacious, and centrally located. My husband has a bum ankle but we were still able to walk around to all the local shops and restaurants. Jana was quick to respond to our questions, and went the extra mile in providing fresh flowers upon check-in.

    Meredith2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jana was a great host who went out of her way to ensure our stay was a success. On our arrival she helpfully sourced an item for our daughter that, if we hadn’t had, would have entirely ruined our trip! Jana was very welcoming and the cottage was lovely. It’s a great location for exploring the town, or hiding from the rain in winter. Port Townsend can be chilly out of season, so bring your thermals...!

    Plum2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • As others have reviewed, this is a very rustic and authentic cabin experience that was the perfect base camp for exploring Port Townsend for a few days. Everything is within a short walking distance, and the cabin itself was very cozy during some blustery December weather. Jana was a lovely hostess, and we especially appreciated her responsiveness when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin! Thanks for having us!

    Jesse2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We felt we'd stepped back in time and into a magical storybook ship captain's life. Restful and relaxing place by the sea. Sea otters, sail boats, and a short magnificent walk to Saturday Market and all things lovely in Port Townsend. Authentic, rare, and memorable experience. Don't miss it.

    Debra2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • We felt fortunate to find a two-bedroom place on short notice for a spontaneous girl's trip to Port Townsend. Jana was a very gracious host and communication/response time was prompt and courteous. We appreciated her meeting us in person to show us how everything works. The cabin is charming, quaint, clean and cozy. Location is also great and within walking distance to downtown PT for restaurants, shops and coffee. Despite being on the wharf with potential for noise from patrons and blustery weather, it was surprisingly quiet. Best sleep we've had in a long time. Thank you, Jana!

    Genie2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, historic old house. Nicely decorated and appointed. Beds, pillows and covers were very comfy and warm. House is in GREAT location! Convenient to everything downtown. You have your own private parking space right in front of the house. Host was friendly and helpful. Felt like it was a privilege to stay there! Love Port Townsend and looking forward to returning soon ...

Relax by the fire pit in the evening, enjoying beautiful sunsets as eagles and shore birds soar above. Experience Tiny House living in a private setting overlooking the Hadlock Marina and the Olympic Mountains. Hiking, biking, kayaking and beach combing all within minutes away, or tour Port Townsend and visit some of its art galleries, shops, fine dining and local wineries.
The tiny house is set in it's own private area, just off of a quiet, paved, dead end road. The house is surrounded by patio area, where you can sit and relax overlooking the bay. The tiny house has a regular queen size bed in the loft area. A small kitchen contains a mini-fridge, microwave, kuric coffee maker and toaster. (cookware and eating utensils suppled). There's a small bathroom with a shower area. Living area has a table and chairs and a small loveseat with pull out sleeper.
Our neighborhood is quiet, very little traffic (3 to 4 cars a day). The beaches are private and we hope our guests will respect this. There is public beach 1/4 mile away. Also many beach areas to explore.
  • Dana and Dick have thought of everything! The tiny house has all that you'll need and the best view. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The thoughtful touches throughout the house really made our stay over the top! There were even plenty of fun games to keep us entertained on the night we got rained in. Can't wait to come back!

  • This is a great Tiny House close to Fort Flagler, Fort Warden, and Port Townsend. It was secluded and private and very clean. We would definitely recommend it.

  • We really enjoy staying in Eagle's Nest places. Bungalow was very clean and it has nice view of bay. Location is perfect for quite getaway. Dana and Dick were very friendly and thoughtful. I will definitely stay again, if I come to this area. Thank you Dana and Dick.

  • Dana & Dick have a beautiful cottage. Every aspect is perfect and well thought out. Stay here, it's brilliant.

  • Great little AirBnB in a lovely location! Dana & Dick's tiny house sits on its own piece of waterfront property with a beautiful view over the bay towards Port Hadlock. Port Townsend is an easy 15-minute drive away. The house was well-appointed with lots of thoughtful touches, complimentary snacks, etc. The hosts greeted us on arrival, shared some local tips, and let us know where to find them (across the street) if we had any questions/issues, but otherwise gave us our privacy. It really was a perfect romantic getaway for Valentine's weekend. Don't miss out on dinner at Ajax Cafe - "A little out of the way but way out of the ordinary." Highly recommended... as is "Eagle's Paradise."

  • The tiny home was perfect for my trip and Dana made the whole process easy. It was a great experience.

  • Lovely, sweet, quiet and very clean tiny house right by the water. The space is simply adorable and your hosts will have thought of everything for you including drinks and snacks. Their love for hosting is palpable. I highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

  • My take on The Plum Cottage in Port Townsend: A great place to stay in a great town that is part of the history of Washington State and the location of enough amazing Victorian architecture to keep you busy for days and days, if that's your thing. And parks, lots of parks. And a lighthouse! And it gets even better since the cottage is conveniently-located just a few blocks from the charming beach side Chetzemoka Park, and close the many entertaining shops and tasty restaurants in both the "downtown" and "uptown" areas of this seaport of yesteryear. Barbara and Claude, your superhosts, are well worth getting to know, with stories of their own global travel experiences that will fascinate as well as inform. Quiet, comfy and all you need. Highly Recommended!

  • The apartment is a very nice spot to enjoy all that Port Townsend has to offer. It's close to uptown with the charming farmer's market, and within reasonable walking distance to Water Street. The unit faces a lovely garden. The hosts stock the space nicely with croissants, butter & jam, coffee and tea and real half & half. The bed is comfortable and the linens are good quality. Nice touches! We met Claude and he was friendly and helpful.

  • The Look Out is a wonderful place to stay in Port Townsend! Debra has gone above and beyond to create the loveliest place I’ve yet found on Airbnb. From the thoughtful kitchen amenities, the comfortable bedding and furniture, to the backyard garden with view of the waterfront and passing ships, the Look Out captures the best of Port Townsend. The location is ideal, convenient to Fort Worden, the downtown waterfront, and only a couple of blocks from Aldrich’s Market and the Uptown Pub. Debra was so welcoming and the communication was great. I hope I can return to stay here in the future!

  • Sweet little getaway! Perfect size for you, your partner and a dog! 😍 The tiny home was very comfortable and cozy with the propane fireplace. Kitchen was just enough to prepare some easy meals. The front porch was a nice spot to sit and enjoy some sun but the little front yard with fire pit really was my favorite! Great sunny spot, lots of light and peaceful. The host was lovely and very accommodating! Hope you love dogs because their sweet girl Sasha is friendly and loves to come by to say hello often. 💕 Stayed an extra two nights because we loved it so much! I can’t wait to come back!

  • We loved this place! I loved the kitchen, it’s perfect for preparing meals.

    Bethany2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The apt. is just as described. I loved working at the living room (dining) table, with its daytime sunshine and that room's excellent light at night. Loved the tub. Excellent for a nice soak. I'm extremely finicky about beds but found the top floor bed quite comfy. The other heds are for younger and/or smaller people than me. The apt. is really, really full of stuff, some items still with price tags on from its prior incarnation as a shop. Some say antiques; some say clutter about such areas. Be aware. Look at the pictures. The location is absolutely fabulous. I made daily ambles to Aldrich's Market and to the wonderful nearby bakery each morning. I enjoyed football and a bite and beverage at Uptown Pub, and an excellent dinner at Lanza's. And that's all within a block. Although I didn't go, the Uptown movie theater is just across the street from the apt. I also enjoyed the mild (except for stairs coming back up the bluff!) walk to downtown's museum, Rose Theater, shopping, and the stunningly good "Bites" and beverages at Alchemy. Check that out. No car needed once you arrive, not for Uptown or Downtown.

What IS it, about a periwinkle house? Your private room is in this light and open, peaceful home on a quiet street in Port Townsend, approximately 30-40 minutes walk from historic downtown. It is tucked in by the blackberries, wild roses and fir trees, next to one of PT's walking trails.
I love meeting travelers! Even if you're just popping up to Port Townsend from Seattle, everyone always has a story, and a lens on life that broadens my own. Welcome to my home. The house is located in what I call "the suburbs" of Port Townsend: not Uptown, not Downtown, but atop one of the first hills as you're heading away from each. It's about a 5 minute drive - or a 30-40 minute walk to downtown. Your room is peaceful and calm -- the kind that makes you exhale when you walk in. The knotty pine doors, simple rocking chair, a wee bit of art, and a fluffy blue duvet invite you to slow down, snuggle in to your queen-sized bed, and relax (don't be thrown off -- sometimes I'll have a sunshine-yellow and white duvet cover on the bed... still inviting, still comfortable). The room-darkening shade makes it easy to sleep-in.... We'll even stop Time for you -- pausing the pendulum on the old kitchen clock, leaving it silent, while you sleep. In order to create a space where you can get away from the trappings of modern life, there is no TV, but feel free to access the wi-fi to watch movies on your laptop using headphones. (I tend to turn off the wi-fi late at night, for better dreaming... but it'll be back on, in the morning!) I enjoy getting to know my guests, so please feel welcome to enjoy the main living areas of house. In the summer months, the front porch is a wonderful place to hang out. As you'll see, the garden is a work in progress... deer, bunnies, butterflies and birds are always around - it gets a bit Disney-esque around here, and if you don't move too quickly, the deer will glide in and rest on the garden knee-wall, while you're drinking your tea. I think you'll enjoy being here!
The neighborhood is quiet, with easy access to wooded trails. We actually have little kids who play and ride their bicycles in the street (like back in the old days), about a block up the road. In the other direction, at the end of the block, there's a stellar view of Mt. Baker, and out into the straits. Plenty of blackberries to pick in August... and that kind of ease that prompts us to say with a combination of wonder and gratitude, "Wow. We live here."
  • Wonderful, relaxing, clean and Katherine was amazing! I would absolutely recommend her place to stay!

Dove’s Perch is a suite comprised of a full bath and two separate rooms furnished with turn of the century antiques. The bedroom is wrapped in soothing lavender color which combined with a memory-foam-topped queen bed promotes a wonderfully restful night's sleep. The second room is spacious enough for meal prep, dining and relaxation after a busy day. It holds a small fridge, microwave oven, hot plate, dish-ware and all the essentials needed to create a lovely home away from home.
Robin’s Nest is a petite bed and breakfast expressly designed to be casually relaxed and personable. It is infused with sprightly color and eclectically furnished with family heirlooms to blend a touch of nostalgia with contemporary comfort and convenience. The home was built in 2006 and renovated in 2017 to ensure our guests have a completely enjoyable experience. L#011868
Robin's Nest is in a sunny area on top of Castle Hill, near the century old and reportedly haunted Manresa Castle. It's a short walk to see some wonderful views of the Port Townsend's historical skyline, and a five-minute drive to the heart of up-town, down-town, all local events, marinas, trails and everything else the area has to offer.
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robin’s bed and breakfast. The space was artfully decorated, clean, and very peaceful. It was a very sweet place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others. She provided a light breakfast in the morning, a full bathroom, and a gorgeous bedroom to stay in.

The Sea Loft is a "carriage house" with an outstanding view of Admiralty Inlet to Puget Sound, located in a special neighborhood near the beach, Chetzemoka Park, and Point Hudson Marina. It is a short walk to the beach and to uptown and downtown shops and restaurants.
The Sea Loft features a very comfortable king-size bed, full kitchen, tub/shower bath, 39-inch cable TV, wifi, and washer and dryer.
The Sea Loft is one house from the beach, one house from Chetzemoka Park, one block to Point Hudson Marina down a private path.
  • What a great place to base yourself in Port Townsend! Very centrally located with access to Chetzemoka Park and the beach. During my stay there two bald eagles and their juveniles out front every day. The little touches around the place were fantastic and the hosts incredibly accommodating. What a perfect place to base yourself while exploring Port Townsend!

    Jennifer2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Folks, you won't be disappointed. The view from the living room has snow capped mountains in the distance and ships and boats moving up and down the sound. The owners left us coffee, milk, half-and-half and granola to start us going the next morning. Food stores are really close for other breakfast items, and very excellent restaurants within walking distance in both uptown and downtown. Our personal favorites were Khu Larb Thai and Docs Marina Grill. My only complaint is the King sized bed. Oh, it was very comfortable. But my wife and I are used to being in contact with each other in a full size bed, and we got lost from each other on the King bed.

    Andrew2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great ocean view. Quiet. Quick walk to beach or downtown. Sparkling clean with fresh flowers and breakfast supplies. Open the windows to hear the ocean. Drift off to sleep. Would visit again if our travels took us this way.

Arcadia Inn at Eaglemount Winery and Cidery was built in 1908. It is a beautiful old Craftsman home and has been a brothel, speakeasy, farmhouse, boarding house, bed and breakfast over the years.
  • Amazing historical house in a beautiful, quiet open area. Trudy was so kind and accommodating during our stay.

  • Great beautiful historic home with winery/cidery next door! Room was small but cozy, bed was comfy. Great spot to hop on the Olympic Discovery Trail and explore Port Townsend! The cider was also fantastic!

  • What a beautiful setting! The first morning I awoke to a deer standing directly below my second floor window. Everything was super comfortable, especially the bed. We also enjoyed the complementary wine tasting (check out the Brambleberry Jalapeno Cider). Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

I live in the back half with my own entrance and living space. You’ll be given a code for self check-in and 24/7 keyless entry to the front door. I have private access and completely separate living quarters in the back half of the house. I share my space with a small dog, but she is not allowed in the guest areas. While this listing does not include kitchen access, a fully-stocked coffee and tea bar is provided. There is also a mini-refrigerator, small sink and microwave oven. There are lots of great places for take-out and plenty of dishes and utensils in the comfy dining room if you wish to eat in. • Cute, clean place :)

  • Great place better than expected. Karen was a great host.

    Mark2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Charming, immaculate and set up with everything you would get at a deluxe hotel... fluffy white towels, nice white bathrobes, great choice of coffees, treats like a box of chocolates, two stamped(!) postcards, fresh fruit and high-end packs of dried fruits & nuts! Seriously, there were so many nice touches that we were photographing everything to remind ourselves to do the same in our own airbnbs!

    Kate2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, quiet, cute space. We loved the fireplaces and the board games. Comfortable beds and linens. Would stay there again. 4 stars

  • This is a beautiful, cozy, relaxing, and convenient place. Karen is a thoughtful and kind host.

    David2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at Karen’s place! The house was exceptionally clean, rooms were beautifully decorated, and beds were very comfortable. She left thoughtful touches when we arrived and checked in on us to see if we needed anything during our stay. The location is really great as well, so close to town — and walking distance to Fort Warden! We hope to come back again one day.

    Jackie2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's cottage strikes the perfect balance between modern convenience (reliable wi-fi, smart TV) and old school cool (loved listening to the eclectic assortment of records on the record player!). She has anticipated every need and it felt like a luxurious retreat with fluffy towels, comfy beds, and cozy robes. The subtly themed beach glass and driftwood bedrooms are beautifully decorated, although we spent most of our time curled up with books in the wood paneled throwback living room with the gas fireplace. This was a fantastic getaway for us and we're looking forward to returning already!

rus·tic (adj.) ~ of or relating to the countryside; rural. mag·ic (noun) ~ a quality that makes something seem removed from everyday life, especially in a way that gives delight
Beautiful and rustic small farm living, on 4.5 acres overlooking Kilisut Harbor. The cabin has a small front porch, and a small "frog pond.” Downstairs Interior is a cozy living space with table for two. A "couch" which also serves as a twin size bed is there as well. Loft bedroom (with queen size bed) and kitchenette. The kitchenette contains a large sink, hutch with dishes and towels, etc., a toaster oven, electric cook pan, electric kettle, and a mini fridge. Outdoor fire pit and small grill for outdoor cooking… Bathroom area consists of a shower and toilet (6 gallon hot water tank). Heat is wood stove, plus oil and electric heaters. Owners live on property, as well as one other apartment rental/tenant.
Marrowstone Island, just southeast from the Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend is a rural island with spectacular shoreline vistas, evergreen trees, and an inspiring, pastoral beauty. The main town of Nordland lies in the center of the island and has a small general store. Get lost on fern drenched trails at Fort Flagler State Park, on the North end of the island -- also known for its historical bunkers and beaches. There is a bridge connecting the island to the mainland, and Port Townsend is 13 miles away, with access to great restaurants, shops, music and the ferry to the San Juans.
  • The most charming cabin with the most gracious hosts. This place fed our souls. The setting is idyllic, the views are peaceful and beautiful. We brought our bikes and rode all over the island including over to Fort Flagler and a walk to nearby Marrowstone Winery. Getting to hang out with their friendly pup was the icing on the cake. Everything was as described, it is a rustic cabin that was very clean and had the exact amenities listed. We look forward to visiting again soon💛

    Courean2020-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely cabin with great views! The fresh eggs and cozy wood stove were just what we needed!

    Erica2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is adorable! We were there for a weekend away from everything and this place delivered. There were thoughtful touches throughout, like Dane and Kathryn making sure the lights and heater were on when we arrived (we got there around 8:30 pm), fresh eggs in the fridge, and some awesome recommendations on where to eat. Be prepared for things to be a little more rustic than you may be used to. It IS a farm. There's no Wi-Fi, so you'll have to tether from your phone if you want to stream anything (or just download to your devices). As others mentioned, the hot water heater is small, so plan on quick showers. But the location and cabin itself more than makes up for those two small drawbacks. It was lovely to listen to the frogs at night, the rooster wasn't a jerk, and there are ALPACAS. They hang out in the field right next to the cabin. They're super friendly. This is a great place to ignore the world for a while. We'll definitely be back.

    Dorothy2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful long weekend stay at the cabin and really enjoyed its coziness. D & K helped us navigate some traffic issues with easy and were great communicators. We will have to return in the summer when we are sure this little oasis is even more stunning. Cheers!

    Sven2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful spot for a relaxing weekend away!

    Joslin2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Singing Frog Cabin is just as shown in the photos and it is a delight for a couple like us that appreciate a cozy, rustic space in a lovely setting. The cabin is located on a farm overlooking an inlet with mountains in the background. The cabin is very clean and furnished perfectly for our tastes. Marrowstone Island is beautiful. Fort Flagler State Park at the end of the Island has spectacular views of Mount Baker and some of the rest of the Cascades and they also have very nice hiking trails in the park. It is a short drive to Port Townsend, where there are numerous restaurants and crafty shops. We were grateful for the fresh eggs in the fridge from hens on the farm. In the future, we will try to book this same place when we visit this part of the Olympic Peninsula.

    Michael2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • This farm house is the most incredible little slice of island paradise. The location is great for day trips or lounging around. We ended up spending most of our nights on the porch or by the fireplace. It's dreamy and the loving touches are felt all around! Can't wait to come back!!

    Briar2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • A very cozy space a bit separated from the rest of the out buildings. Nice for privacy and quiet. We loved listening to the birds and watching the light change on the water— the view is stunning. The corner store down the way is very cute and a post office too!

Waterview private Studio in a prestigious island neighborhood with its own garage with a love-seat & coffee table for smoking or relaxing. Inside there is: wood-stove which keeps it very cozy warm & a door to a small fenced pet yard, Kitchenette with a full fridge, 2 hotplates, small toaster oven & Keurig w/ pods and normal coffee maker with coffee. Queen size bed, 50'' smart TV, Large desk w/lamp, big mirror, wired cable for computer, bureau and clothes hangers. Small bath with shower
Living on an island has been always a super plus, the lack of noise, view of the stars, enjoying the silence, fresh air, feed the goat and pet the friendly house cats, walk on the beach to mystery bay park, just 2 miles from the Fort Flagler state park, half a mile from east beach Park with an area for BBQ and the water view, where you often see whales, or submarines or ships of all kind while eagles and seagulls Fly overhead.
I believe living on an island is kind of special, at least Marrowstone is considered a prestigious neighborhood, lots are 2 to 10 acres, we have 4 acres

Welcome to the Green House. This lower level, 1-bedroom apartment is completely self-contained, with a fully-equipped kitchenette, sitting room, TV and Wifi, and separate entrance. The house is located about 6 miles west of Port Townsend, a short 15-minute drive, where there are spectacular views of Discovery Bay and the Olympic Mountains. This charming arts and crafts bungalow is a certified "green house" and can be your gateway to all that Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula have to offer.
The guest suite is the lower level of the house, but is completely closed off from the upstairs living space. It has west facing windows which let in beams of light on a sunny day. As a host, I respect my guests' privacy but am available when needed.
  • We enjoyed our stay at the Green House! It was clean and comfortable. It provided a perfect relaxing getaway for us!

    Michelle2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lynn’s space is exactly what you need for a comfortable weekend. Simple, clean, and cozy. All of her recommendations are spot on for restaurants in the area. And the neighborhood’s beach walk is so lovely, highly recommended it during your stay. Port Townsend is the sundae, and Lynn’s house is the cherry on top.

    Bronwynn2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a comfortable and pleasant stay at Lynn’s garden-level apartment. The basics are all covered here - we were able to do some simple cooking and the space easily accommodated two adults and a 2-year-old. (Child slept in a pack & play crib in the main bedroom that we brought with us.) There is a pull-out sleeper couch in the living room if you need it. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are beautiful Olympic mountain views even from the garden-level apartment. Lynn is a friendly host who is very easy to communicate with! We enjoyed strolling in downtown PT, visiting the state parks, and we always love going down the road to Chimacum for the Chimacum Corner Grocery and FinnRiver Cidery . (Feeding the geese on the FinnRiver farm was great free entertainment for the toddler!) For a small family, we would recommend this sweet AirBnB!

  • I came to Port Townsend to work for two weeks, and what I hoped for was to teach in the mornings and afternoons and spend the evenings writing in a quiet, comfortable place. At Lynn's house, I got that and more. I loved this apartment so much, and I am currently looking for more work in the area just so I can stay here. It is truly an oasis. The surrounding land is beautiful and serene, with a view of the water and mountains and deer that come to feed near the garden. Lynn has outfitted the interior intuitively; it truly has all the comforts and conveniences of home. One small example that meant a lot to me was that the lamp next to the bed had its switch on the cord, which meant it was easy to turn off after I got sleepy while reading at night. Yes, it's a small thing, but just one example of how Lynn has designed this space as thoughtfully as would someone for whom it is their primary home. The tub is deep and perfect for soaking; the bathroom has an aesthetically-pleasing nightlight that helped me find my way in the dark; the mattress is incredibly comfortable and gifted me with some of the best rest I've gotten all year; the chest of drawers and closet gave me ample space for my clothes; I was able to cook many delicious meals on the very functional double burner hot plate; the writing desk is cool with character; the living room recliner was my nighttime perch and kept me cozy as I did my evening writing. Downtown Port Townsend is a 10-15 minute car ride away, which felt short while driving the beautiful country roads. Lynn was wonderful, welcoming, and friendly and also respectful of my privacy. I could go on and on with the greatness of this place, but long story short, if you are coming to Port Townsend for the beauty of the area, book with Lynn. You'll be able to visit downtown easily and have a short walk to the beach once you're back at the place (and an even shorter drive to the beach is an option, too). I highly recommend this beautifully designed, sparkling clean and comfortable home.

This beautiful tiny house is a land yacht with lots of hardwood trim and a Queen size bed in the loft. Dave the captain is a master craftsman and sailor which is demonstrated by the care he used to build this home for you to enjoy. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay on five acres with trails for a refreshing walk. Located just 5 short miles from the center of Port Townsend in forest setting. Pets allowed with prior approval.
The tiny home is separate from the main house and has its own bathroom with a full size shower.
We live in a wooded setting at the end of a cul de sac. There are 20 acres of woods behind the house that is home to deer, coyotes, birds, raccoon and other wild life.
  • David’s tiny home is unbelievably charming and has everything you need! It’s an incredibly well decorated and cozy place with unique features. Easy to find and perfect for our last minute one night getaway!

    Jordan2020-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time staying at The Captain’s Tiny Home. This is a very sweet and cozy spot that the owner and craftsman David built. The home includes a lot of nice custom touches including heart shaped ties for the main rafters beams! David was a great host who was there when I needed him and otherwise appropriately hands off, giving good privacy. This was a breath of fresh air from the previous place I stayed with a host who become quite hostile and discriminatory. Davids property is safe and he was quite welcoming. He attended to the tiny home in a swift manner if there was any issue. The land and walking trails he has carved out and maintains are a cherry on top! This has a true cabin feel going on, so don’t expect it to be spotlessly clean or sterile, but it was plenty clean and tidy during the entire time of our stay. Definitely recommend for the location, tiny home, and hospitality.

Our sumptuous room is located in picturesque Port Townsend approximately 30-40 minutes walk from historic downtown. We live on 3/4 acre with views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainer (on a clear day) and Port Townsend Bay on the outskirts of Port Townsend. Even though we are in the city limits, we feel as though we are out in the country. Our street dead ends so there is no thru traffic going by our home. We are still a work in progress, so we have some exterior projects on the go which you will see.
One of the most wonderful aspects of a straw bale house is the sense of safety and quiet that these two foot thick walls provide. The wall surface is stucco and structolite plaster which we troweled on by hand, with the help of our friends and family. The three bay windows provide a lovely territorial view of the trees across the road and of Mt. Baker on a clear day. Our king sized bed is natural latex with cotton sheets and down duvet. The 100% wool carpet feels great on your feet! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ROOM IS ON THE 2ND FLOOR SO YOU WILL NEED TO BE COMFORTABLE CLIMBING STAIRS.
Although we are within the city limits, you will feel as if you are out in the country. We are on the outskirts of Port Townsend so it is not right 'in town'. Our little lane will take you past a charming neighborhood of houses but our 3/4 acre feels private and serene.

  • The space is welcoming and creative. It had a lot of creative details to explore. I stayed with my girlfriend, and, unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to interact with Sheryl or Tim directly, but they were very responsive on the app and their directions for getting in and out were clear.

    Heinrich2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We got to stay at Sheryl & Tim's for only one night but it was such a treat! We were in town for Strange Brew Fest so we were mostly out and about. However, we enjoyed the view from the room, the walk into town, and the delicious muesli for breakfast! We also got a great night's sleep in the wonderfully cozy bed. Didn't get to enjoy the shower but it looked really, really cool. Would definitely stay here again!

  • You can expect a clean, comfortable, and well-appointed space with plenty of charm and hospitality.

    Rob2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and i had an amazing time at Tim and Sheryl’s. Their hand built straw bail house was super unique and the experience was totally amplified by their hospitality. Couldn’t recommend more for a weekend trip away from Seattle!

    Hunter2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Sheryl & Tim’s hand-built straw-bale house is amazing. Architecturally fascinating (Tim can tell about every aspect of its construction if you ask), and with spaces that ooze both tranquility and community. They are exceptional hosts who make you feel totally at home and welcomed, while also giving you space to enjoy the place on your terms. I had an absolutely wonderful four nights there, and can highly recommend it. If you go in winter, ask Sheryl or Tim to build a fire in the living room fireplace - Perfect for those windy blustery winter evenings.

  • A unique and cozy spot!

    Lisa2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The radiant floor heating is toasty warm underfoot. The lighted stairway, window seats, & Buddhist-style arched doorways were just a few of my favorite things about this house/room.

  • The experience staying in Sara’s Yurt was great. Sara greeted us and showed us around prior to getting settled then she gave us our privacy. It is a very cozy/warm atmosphere in her yurt. It was clean and had The game Jenga so that was fun! Hearing the wildlife (owls, coyotes, birds) in the morning and especially at night was very exciting! I definitely recommend Sara’s yurt for your bucket list!

    Karissa2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely adored our stay in the Sea Star Yurt. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was how much larger it was in person! Some of our favorite amenities included: the back porch with bird feeder, the abundance of storage space, the dome window above the bed, and the heated blanket. Our hosts were especially hospitable, and incredibly communicative. We got a bit chilly the first night but this wasn't our first time in a yurt, and we knew this was a possibility since our stay was in the winter. After requesting an additional heater, the hosts immediately brought one over and it made the remainder of our stay much cozier! If you're looking to visit Port Townsend, but want to stay somewhere unique and off the beaten path, the Sea Star Yurt will fulfill your desires!

    Kayla2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very cool place!

    Devon2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Sara's yurt was fabulous. Its a short drive (10-15 mins) from Port Townsend, so you can't beat the location. The yurt itself is spacious and very private. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the birds at the feeder. Sara has prepared a small local guidebook with great suggestions for food and activities. Everything in the yurt was very well explained. The bed was surprisingly comfortable.

  • Such a cute place and great host! Very kind and helpful

    Tyler2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Very peaceful spot! I saw 4 deer within a couple of hours of my arrival. Very roomy for a yurt- was expecting a smaller place and the deck is a nice touch - especially in summer!

    Mike2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Sara's yurt is a fantastic place to stay if you're spending time in the Port Townsend area. It is a short drive outside of town, mostly via the highway but ending on a gravel road, and rests in quiet solitude. The yurt's skylight makes for fantastic natural light inside and a great view looking up from bed. There's a private back patio too that is perfect for unwinding on. You'll be happy you'll have stayed here!

  • Tucked away in a dense, damp forest this cute little tent-abode is an experience of connecting with nature and with oneself. Travel back in time to see what life can be like without the conveniences of modern day: rekindle your internal fire to keep yourself warm, awaken your senses to the sounds of birds, wind and trees, and remember what it means to be human.

  • Hummingbird sweet was perfect! Every aspect of my stay there, was truly perfect, from the comfortable bed and soft linens, the spaciousness of the room allowed me room for yoga mornings, and when the sun came out it was yoga on the deck, wonderful touches like ground coffee for the morning, and hot water kettle for my evening tea, a microwave, and toaster oven, dishes, utensils, this suite had everything I needed! Bonus was the family of deer, a mother and her two young ones, who apparently were born right there in the yard. Upon awakening Sunday and opening the blinds they were there to greet me 😊just a few feet from the deck. Jim is a wonderful host and conversation with him was stimulating. I will for sure be back!

    Karen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at the Hummingbird Suite. The suite is very spacious and light filled with lots of windows but also cosy with wall to wall carpeting and a gas heater that simulates a wood burning stove. It is very quiet, the bed is comfortable and I slept very well. There is a small kitchenette with a toaster oven, microwave, and refrigerator. The suite is isolated from the rest of the house and has a separate entrance. Jim was a great host meeting me when I arrived. I highly recommend the Hummingbird Suite and would definitely stay here again.

This charming cottage is designed for small families. We stock a variety of children's games, movies and books. Children 5 or older will love the loft. There is also a cozy twin on the ground floor for younger children or a third adult. Don't hesitate to mention any special need or event.

• Sweet little place, friendly host, close to downtown. Don’t count on having reliable internet service, if that’s a must for you. We had a very nice stay!

    Liz2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a cozy cottage. We lucked out with some amazing sunshine throughout our stay. I loved the windows throughout the cottage. Even in the rain...this is a perfectly cozy stay for two people. Many thoughtful touches throughout as well and it is in the perfect location to walk around Port Townsend.

    Tiffany2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Morgan Hill Guest Cottage (myself, my husband, and one of our adult daughters). Ann was a great host and available if needed. It was cozy, cute, clean and the beds were really comfortable. The weather was not great during our stay in Port Townsend, but saw a little peak of the views and enjoyed our visit in spite of the rain.

    Marc2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place with a bit outdated wicker chairs, furniture and TV. Slow internet. Outstanding location, very private, quiet, great view

  • Love this cottage! Very thoughtful touches throughout. Great location, highly recommend!

    Teresa2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. Very comfortable and clean. Good for couples or families. Great location between Fort Worden and downtown, though it might be a bit of a walk if you don’t have a car. Wonderful little touches around the rental such as area information and snacks, though the bathroom is a bit small and counter space is at a premium. The TV is an older (and smaller) CRT TV so don’t expect HD. The town kind of shuts down early so it would have been nice to have a modern TV to chill around at night. We ended up watching shows on our laptop, which was ok. I would recommend this rental and probably stay again.

    Michael2019-12-20T00:00:00Z

Discovery Way on Diamond Point offers an inspiring water view on a bluff overlooking Discovery Bay. Eagles fly by at eye level. Deer may wander by the picture windows. This quiet hideaway has a pleasant solitude. Beach walks, trail hikes, kayaking and biking are easily accessed. This daylight basement apartment is equipped for a comfortable stay. A variety of stores are available in Sequim , which is 14 miles west , and Port Townsend , which is 23 miles east .
Roomy living area with kitchenette. Private entry and parking space in quiet view neighborhood.
Diamond Point is a small area at the mouth of Discovery Bay. About 750 families live here seasonally. We are at the end of a gravel road we share with two neighbors. Beach access including a boat ramp is .5 mile from house. Ramp is appropriate for kayak and small boat launch although vehicle parking is limited.
  • We have stayed in probably over 100 Airbnbs and this is definitely on our top favorite list. The view is absolutely incredible. Betsy and Irv are wonderful hosts. Irv makes the most delicious bread and muffins. We wanted a little weekend getaway from Seattle and this place was perfect. We ended up cooking in all meals because we loved the space so much. There are plenty of supplies to cook a full meal. The bed is comfortable and the living area is cozy. There are plenty of great hiking trails close by. Definitely recommend staying here! We hope to be back. Thanks again, Betsy and Irv!

  • Beautiful views and comfortable stay! This home is in a quiet, private location with amazing views overlooking the bay. When arriving there was freshly made bread that was still warm and really good muffins that were had in the morning. The bed and couch were super comfy and the entire apartment was super clean. Betsy responded fast and kept making sure I had everything and if I needed anything, which was very kind. Definitely will stay here again when in the area!!

    Adam2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Perched cliffside overlooking Discovery Bay, this beautiful home sits privately nestled in small, quiet seaside community. It’s a wonderful weekend get away to explore hiking trails in the park, or walking a nice stretch of beach. The loop I did was a 5-6 hours walk/hike and included a short break on the cozy spit of land connected to the state park. Rainbows occur here often and that day the rainbow seemed to touch down on a lucky, green island offshore in the distance. When you’re done exploring for the day, you get to return to your own private, comfy quarters with one of the best views on the bay. The deer walk by the windows at daybreak and eagles glide by at eye level. It’s such a peaceful setting. I enjoyed some meditation time and it was a great way to welcome the new year. Thank you, Betsy and Irv, for your hospitality and for sharing your home, even though my stay was too short! I loved it.

  • Carol and Tom were a delight. They allowed us as much privacy as we needed but were also friendly hosts ready to answer our questions and offer suggestions.

  • Carol was an awesome host, and we totally loved all the art and paint inside. That bed was probably the most comfortable bed we've ever been. Thanks for making our first AirBnB experience amazing.

  • Lovely home and lovely people. We had such a great time in Port Townsend. We had a cozy room to and private bathroom in a nice quiet neighborhood. Carol gave us tips on places to eat and kayak. We will stay here again when returning. A real find.
