We had a superb stay at Angel's property. We were greeted on arrival and settled in quickly to the peaceful surroundings and cosy cottage. Angel was very responsive, sent clear instructions for how to find the property and gave us some handy local insights on where to eat and where to head on walks through the surrounding countryside. Bonus points for the fantastic village shop nearby too. We would very happily stay here again!

We stayed for a friend's wedding happening locally. Perfect accommodation for our needs. Sarah and Stefan were quick to respond to any questions. The place was pristine on arrival.

This was our first time in Petworth (having enjoyed other small towns across Sussex), and Emily's lovely cottage was a great base for walks in the surrounding countryside, a visit to Petworth House and just curling up with some holiday reading. In the town/vicinity, we particularly enjoyed walking in Petworth Park, up to Lodsworth and across the Shimmings Valley. The holiday decorations at Petworth House were beautiful, and the selection of wine at Hennings (literally down the street) was great to accompany home cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen. The cottage was extremely stylish and comfortable, the bedroom particularly cozy with super-soft linens, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Emily was communicative and flexible with dropping off bags, which made it easier to enjoy the v limited daylight at this time of year. Thoroughly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at The Bothy…..everything about it was just perfect……a beautifully appointed and clean and spotless accommodation, which suited our needs perfectly. With lovely walled garden and decking. The location was fabulous with beautiful woodland and countryside walks nearby. Will definitely return

One of my favourite relaxing getaways ever, such a peaceful and beautiful spot, a very mindful place. The Shepherds Hut is so cosy and great options for places to sit and take in the surroundings. Amazing variety of birds around, never seen a kingfisher so close before. Nicola is a great host. I will most certainly be coming back again!
