Gran's Place

This newly renovated 4th generation family farmhouse sitting on 13 acres is centrally located in Russell Springs, just minutes from Lake Cumberland. We are just off the Cumberland Parkway (a short and easy drive to both Columbia and Somerset), close to Russell County Hospital, and within a mile to most fast-food chains, restaurants, gas, and grocery. Our goal is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible while visiting the Lake Cumberland area. We do ask that there be no smoking in the home.

It is located in Monticello, Ky, in a rural part of the area. It’s about 12 minutes to town. There is very close (driving distance) swimming access, kayaking, boating, boat ramps, fishing & marinas. On a dead end street, so very peaceful. Kayak rental is available for $25. per day/per kayak. Pet fee $50/$75 per stay.

For the boaters and fishermen, we are just minutes away from Arnold’s landing boat ramp and also Holmes Bend marina on beautiful Green River lake. For the hunting enthusiast, there are 20,000 plus acres of public land available for spring and fall hunting, with an abundance of turkey and deer. Close to Campbellsville University and Lindsey Wilson in Columbia. Lake Cumberland is also a short drive away.

The Little Brown Cottage

Keep it simple at this peaceful, 1950's cottage in Russell Springs. One bedroom has a queen sized bed & the other bedroom has a full sized bed. There is a full bathroom accessible through the master bedroom with a vintage tub & shower combination. It has a fully equipped kitchen with separate dining room. There are doorbell cameras but we will turn them off upon check-in. There is a large television in the living room but each bedroom has its own television with free high speed Wi-Fi.

However, if it’s a retreat you seek, the cottage is also for you as it sits in a quiet, very pretty, rural area of Wayne County, Kentucky, where 5 can sleep easily.

We are located within 2 miles of Lindsey Wilson University, between Green River Lake and Lake Cumberland and within one mile of the Cumberland Pkwy. Gorgeous cottage with seasonal lake view overlooking Lake Cumberland . The Marina which has boat slips, boat dock , boat rentals and restaurant are a quick jog down the hill. Enjoy the lake view from the Hot tub on the deck,amazing on even a winter day! The home has a big yard with trees for privacy . 2 bedrooms on main floor. Nice, newly renovated 4 bedroom, 2 bath house with lots of room for entertainment. Large kitchen/dining room with room for 12+. Perfect house for indoor and outdoor living. In town and just a short driving distance to either Jamestown Marina or Lake Cumberland Marina. Nice 30’ driveway with a place to charge your boat. New for 2023 we now have a fire pit and new outdoor furniture for more indoor/outdoor living space!

New chalet only 5 minutes to city of Somerset and 5 minutes to Lake Cumberland! Cozy 1 king size bedroom with custom features throughout. Walk out on your master suite deck and have coffee with nature! Full size bathroom w custom tile. Back deck that overlooks woods and wildlife. Sometimes there is a neighbor who has a dog that barks a couple housss down, I’m sorry if it does, doesn’t happen often
