Enjoyed our stay in Rockford, in no small part because of Sue and Jeff’s hospitality and guidance. They met us in the driveway as we arrived (which we didn’t expect—the timing worked out for everyone, I guess) and spent a few minutes greeting us and showing us around. They made it all easy and we slept comfortably.

Sue and Jeff’s place was exactly what we needed for a short overnight stay. We didn’t get to meet Sue in person but her communication via Airbnb and texting was great. Jeff was very friendly and welcoming. Overall the place is a great value in a quiet neighborhood.

We loved our stay at Dave's farm. He puts such attention into every detail of the place and it is clear he takes great pride in it. We stayed with two young children who loved seeing wildlife, canoeing, hiking in the wetlands that abuts the property, feeding chickens and learning about the farm. It is a wonderful place in a beautiful setting.

Dave's place is humongous! Lots of room for the whole family and then some. Very well equipped with lots of plates, cutlery and kitchen implements. Well equipped kitchen. Also used his kayaks. Teenagers had a fun time. Cozy wood fire indoor with lots of wood. Location is a bit rural. Nearest grocery is about 15 minutes away. Very nice cafe/book store in Beloit called Peck and Bushel (?). About 1 1/2 hours to Taliesin (get tickets at least 5 days in advance). I recommend Dave's place for a serene country experience for the whole family.

What a hidden gem! Dave was a great host and we enjoyed hearing the history of the house and property. Very spacious which allowed our family ample space to relax.

A BIG thank you to Dave for being a phenomenal host! The farmhouse was beyond what we had imagined, and accommodations were great! Dave graciously gave me a tour upon arrival, and it showed just how passionate he was about the farmhouse & the property it resides on. My friends and I were coming in from all over the country for our best friend’s wedding. We wanted to be sure to make the most of our time together, so thought an Airbnb that could host us all would make for an amazing evening. The Farmhouse didn’t disappoint! Thanks Dave!

An amazing place to stay in the country! A beautiful cottage that is updated and stylish! Diane’s cookies and little treats are amazing and she prepares the cottage like you are family. It was extremely clean and well taken care of.

First off, this cottage is absolutely adorable. It is welcoming and cozy with plenty of room to make meals, hang out together and still find your own space. The decor is perfect for the space. We stayed to visit family in the surrounding areas, which was perfect because we were close enough to get to them easily but far enough away we could blame "weather" and "roads" when we were late because we stopped for coffee. It's a great location and Diane was incredibly easy to communicate with. This cottage made entire visit to family more enjoyable and acted as a reminder that we need to do this more often. We'll definitely be back, for family but also for this cottage!

What a beautiful and warm home to spend time in. Diane was an outstanding communicater and went above and beyond in several ways. I highly recommend anyone passing through or wanting a retreat away from the busyness of life to stay here. You will have fabulous pets that greet you also.

This little cottage was beyond perfect! It was clean, homey, and beautiful! Diane was great with communication and responding within a timely manner. This place is wonderful! My wife and I enjoyed the decor and aesthetic of the home. It was very clean and well kept. We were greeted by friendly pups when we left the house the next morning. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again.

The little 1940’s farm cottage was perfect! Nicely decorated with country black and white plaids and updated bathroom. Great sunroom and deck and cozy bedrooms and living room. We stayed in for the most part and they had everything we needed for cooking and Netflix and DVDs to entertain us. We chatted deep into the night because we didn’t want it to end. Diane our host replied to our messages very promptly and offered answers and suggestions easily. She was very pleasant to deal with and their two gorgeous golden retrievers, Cooper and Addie, were the shining bonus! Sooooo sweet and friendly and beautiful! I could go on ... you will not be disappointed... we look forward to returning!

Kathryn was such a great host and really made sure we felt at home and welcomed. She made sure we had everything we needed and even had fresh coffee and fresh muffins for us in the morning (so delicious too!). Kathy's place felt like home! She was so warm and welcoming! She fed me an awesome Thanksgiving meal, loved on my pups, and chatted with me like we knew each other forever! The room was clean and had everything I needed. I loved having the claw foot tub to take a soak in after a long drive. She was quick to respond to all of my questions and suggest places around town to visit and take my dogs to. I definitely recommended this stay for anyone staying in the area.

This is the second time I stayed with Ro and John and since I had my family and kids so I rented this basement space which was great! My kids really enjoyed their stay as we played ping pong and they also played with the toys!! This was a very affordable place with great location and enjoyable family accommodation!

Ro and John are wonderful, they respect your privacy and are a joy to speak with when we cross in passing. Location Is great with a lot of options close by to sight see and shop. You will be well taken care of while visiting Rockford. I would stay again on my next trip.

If you are in Rockford and this place is available, it is where you want to stay! It’s in a great neighborhood with no worries whatsoever. Ro and John are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met and they had beyond everything that I needed. They were so generous with every aspect of the stay. A very great experience staying at Rogene’s home! I cant say enough good things about my stay. The house was very clean and very comfortable. Any concerns I had were addressed swiftly. Rogene and her husband John are very knowledgeable of the area and had a lot of recommendations on things to do in Rockford. I would definitely stay again when I am in town for work.

I booked Ellyn’s place for a last minute work trip and I had a great experience. The house is a gorgeous place with a lot of space. The room was clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend anyone check this place out if you’re traveling through Rockford. 5 stars

Very nice house with off-street parking and a private bathroom, plus he is ok with long-term stays. I was traveling for work on a 21 day outage and it was great. I believe it would be a great place for traveling nurses or other workers on assignments as well.

Coleby is a terrific host. I'm in the process of transitioning from Milwaukee, WI, to Beloit, WI, for work. There are several days I stay close to work and I found Coleby's place. Not only is this a business venture for him, he makes you feel like you know one another as friends. I goofed up on my check in date and went a day earlier. Coleby was able to change my check in date with no question or hesitation. He's quiet to the point you don't even know he's there. It's like getting off work going to your own home. Communication is great and prompt! His place is my go to place!

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Very gracious hosts! Clean friendly household and the hosts are absolutely friendly.

Marie's place is a private room in a beautiful home a little off the beaten path and well worth driving a few miles off the freeway--for the park like neighborhood with walking paths and close proximity to the adorable town of Rocklin with cute shops and many choices for dinner. Marie and Todd were very welcoming and we enjoyed visiting with them and playing fetch with their sweet pups!

Great couple, great hosts, beautiful stylish home, was a pleasure to stay very comfortable setting, great view out back, comfy bed, and best of all they made me feel so welcome the whole time even inviting me out to see their band. Definitely want to stay again some day and highly recommend!

*An Exceptional Spot in Downtown Rockford* Louise's restored 1850s home in downtown Rockford was a treat. We stayed in the upstairs rental and it was phenomenal for our young family. The art is really cool. The furnishings and layout made it easy to handle having a young baby there. Also an two block walk to the downtown area, which was perfect. Louise had a surprise snack of freshly baked biscotti when we got there. Thank you for such a great trip!

Beautiful home with nature, wildlife, comfy blankets and wonderful coffee. The host is great as well. I would recommend to anyone to stay here and we will definitely be coming back.

Excellent host!

First, second, AND third time’s a charm! Rodney and Buddy always greet us with the friendliest, warmest welcome. We’re given all the space we need, the room is always so warm and sweet and this time there were lots of pretty roses. We spent lots of time in the hot tub, watching the horses through the trees. On a night it was very windy and snowy Rodney messaged me to ask if he could warm up some food for us so we didn’t have to go out and we walked out to such a pretty and delicious dinner. The hospitality is outstanding and we just consider this our home away from home now. Excited to plan the next visit!

Rodney has a beautiful home full of unique furnishings that blend classic, modern, and industrial all together. His home offers a peaceful country setting close to town. Best of all Rodney is a wonderful host. I always felt at home and he made sure I had everything I needed.

What a great place to stay! Easy check in and Buddy the dog is a great greeter. The room was huge and terrific with the extra space and full private bath - like having your own part of the house. Also - patio doors from the room lead out to the deck and garden and horses that will come running for the on-site apples. The art work and furnishings are worth the stay all by themselves. Rod was a terrific host - had some extra dessert and great ideas on places to eat. We will be back!

A very clean and cozy loft in the middle of Downtown Rockford! GREAT for a local getaway near many places to check out for food and entertainment! Sandi has a great eye for decoration and knows how to make the occupants feel at home!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandi's place. It was the perfect location for attending hockey games at the BMO. Sandi was great with communication. Her place was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed lunch across the street at Vintage 501. We hope there is availability the next time we need to be in the area.

April's house is really close to some of the best spots in Rockford. I really enjoyed staying here while I was staying for work. The apartment is clean and spacious and really comfortable. I stayed here right on the cusp of all of the most recent Covid19 stuff, and staying in April's super clean and comfortable spot made my stay way less anxious. She even left me Clorox wipes! Thanks for the easy comfy stay.

April’s place was clean, affordable, and the location was perfect for downtown attractions. She was amazing at responding to me when I had a conflict with the scheduling and available immediately when we had difficulty using the touch pad getting into the building.

Such a cute space! It had everything we needed and was super homey. April was very easy to get a hold of and had super cute touches throughout the space. I was noticing different details up until the moment we left. Location was perfect for a weekend getaway, close to local venues, breweries, and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Lindsay and Tyler's home was a great place for me to spend 6 weeks during a medical rotation at SwedishAmerican Hospital! They had everything you need for a really comfortable stay and it was so clean when I checked in. They were both very responsive to my questions. The house is located walking distance to the hospital with grocery stores, restaurants, and downtown shops about a 5-10 minute drive from their house. Couldn't have asked for a better place to call home in Rockford!

Laura and Gerald are just amazing. They were extremely helpful when we had to move out of a previous airbnb due to issues. Then they were always welcoming and there if we needed anything! Extremely friendly and fun to hang out with! The space also has everything you could need for an extended stay. 100% reccomend staying with them!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend when we were in Rockford for a concert. I was looking for a unique place, and this was definitely it! It’s an old building (kept up very nicely) with beautiful wood floors. Super spacious and clean. Love that eggs, bagels, and even moscato were in the fridge! The location was great too—just a couple minutes driving from downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay—everything was very comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again!

Laura and Gerald were extremely generous and responsive, and their hospitality really stood out. They promptly answered any questions that came up, and were very accommodating to my requests for check in/out adjustments. The snacks and beverages were a very sweet touch, and the apartment was spotless.

Laura's place is roomy and located close to downtown. Easy street parking and access to the unit. Laura provided all the little touches and extras that make her a Super Host.. I would happily stay with Laura again. Well done!

I'm going to try to keep this short because no matter how many words I use to describe how wonderful my stay was with Rogene and her husband John's house it wont do it justice. The couple made my long term Airbnb rental into a place that I could refer to as home. I honestly don't believe I could've had a better living arrangement and its all thanks to Rogene and her outstanding hospitality. She made me feel right at home from the second I got there on. The Brick's were extremely helpful with lots of great information about the area, great restaurants, and fun activities. That being stated the house is centrally located as most placed you'll need to go are 10 minutes away or closer! I enjoyed my time at their place thoroughly and encourage you to stay at the Brick household because meeting them will be the highlight of your trip!

This is the MOST CHARMING Airbnb we have ever stayed in!!! The historic aspect of the property is very cool and it is well-decorated. The property has been kept up and remodeled very thoughtfully. We were very comfortable at this stay.

I can’t say enough positive things about this place. My boyfriend and I planned on a long term stay and were very, very pleased with all the amenities this home had to offer. To the brand new appliances and the clean and crisp linens, to the lovely art pieces hung throughout the home, It was a real treat to see the beautiful surroundings every morning. Although the house was built pre 1800 there are modern splashes throughout, but even with those touches the original, strong, architecture still rings through. This place is crazy gorgeous inside and out. You’d have to see it for yourself to appreciate what we saw. This home provides everything you would need for an extended stay. Downtown is literally a 3 min walking distance and the closest Aldi’s is about 10 min from the pad. As far as the host, she was unbelievably kind and genuine and made us feel like family. From the moment we drive up she was warm and accommodating and she really never stopped. We bonded just a bit, I’d say. 😂I’ll keep in touch with her even if I’m not in town. She’s that cool, you guys. Book this one. You’ll regret it if you don’t.

The Maid's quarter was exceptional. It was a neat and cozy little spot to spend a weekend. Louise and Ann put special touches on it for my wife's and my anniversary to go the extra mile. What a wonderful stay we had.

Louise was incredibly thoughtful. I was in town visiting my mom who had surgery. When I arrived at Peck House I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The porch light was on so I could see the lock and easily access the key and enter the home. There was a small dish of cookies and a bottle of wine on the table to my right. I hadn’t eaten since lunch and I was too tired to go out and eat. To my delight Louise also bought fresh fruit, yogurt, bottled water, eggs and some waffle batter she had ready for me in the refrigerator. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. The accommodations and bed were comfortable which helped to relax after a rather taxing day. My mom had surgery at Swedish American Hospital only a few minutes from Peck House.

The furnishings, artwork, and charm of this little 2 bedroom spot are just spectacular. Every detail is spot-on. We arrived for Valentine's Day to champagne and cookies. There was fresh made banana bread and biscotti and all of the coffee or tea you could want. There were eggs and yogurt for breakfast. I cannot commend these hosts enough for their hospitality. If you are staying in Rockford, you want to be staying here.

Sandi has a lovely place, very comfortable with extra touches. I.e. medication, drinks, etc. bed and sofa are very comfortable and the place is very stylish. This was my 2nd time staying here because it was difficult to find a place as nice as this for the price. You can’t beat the location, right downtown with restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Was great about a last minute booking! I recommend googling her place & calling first, if you have to go that route. Dianne was very prompt & accommodating. The room was beautifully done, overall a very charming setup. If you don't mind sharing a kitchenette, this place is a home run. As far as location goes you're super close to the Sugar River Trail & central to everything in Green County. We hope to be back!

Unexpected gem in the upstairs of a 19th century hotel with 21st century amenities . Would be a great quiet stay for anyone using bike or atv trails , or visiting Madison . Broadhead is quiet & safe and still has its small town charm & plenty of food & shopping. Spotlessly clean , quiet , charming , what else could you want ?

Room was comfortable, very clean and located near some good local restaurants.

The rooms were immaculate, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was quiet and a great place to relax after a busy day. The common area with kitchen was light filled and we only wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed our coffee on the outdoor deck.

Great location near bike trails and New Glarus brewery. The scenery driving to and from this location was also beautiful. Clean and cozy room that was also updated and comfortable. We really enjoyed the kitchen area. We will recommend this to family and friends

Diane's place was amazing. I booked the stay for my mom on her 60th class reunion. She said the place was awesome and she was very comfortable. She will probably stay again for her 65th class reunion!
