Apartment in Bondi Beach
Hideaway Haven To Break Lockdown Blues
Our newly listed Studio Room is brand spanking new! Painted and re-floored in early April 2018, it has been furnished with mostly brand new appliances and fittings, new mattress, and new original artwork. We have only 30 reviews, almost all of which are 5-Star reviews, and our sister Studio now has 110 X 5-star ratings and 5 X 4-star ratings. Why would you book elsewhere? We are small - perfect for the holiday guest who is likely to be out a lot and eat out a lot. Come and enjoy deluxe facilities of a five-star hotel coupled with the warm, friendly ambience of boutique accommodation. We offer a fully private, large studio with beautiful en-suite and kitchenette with the usual facilities - fridge, microwave, toaster, sandwich-maker, hot-plate, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery etc). And outside there is a large sunny patio shared with our other twin suite. Small we might be, but we are exquisite, of the highest quality, in a modern and very very upmarket area, with beautiful finishes and attention to detail including HDTV, coffee-maker, blade-less fan, huge luxurious bath-sheets and luxurious bedding and duck-down duvets to match. Please please read our reviews for our twin unit. Not only a near-perfect 5 star record for every guest, but we are now superhosts too! And we have been written up as superhosts too in the local press - see pics on the site. If you are looking for superlative accommodation, look no further. Please read through our reviews (and the 98 reviews of our sister studio). There is a reason we are so highly rated and we invite you to come and see for yourselves. So, we detail again, the important points to remember. Our Studio is small but is perfect for the holiday guest who is likely to be out a lot and eat out a lot. * Exquisite attention to detail, highest quality, beautiful finishes * Situated in a modern and very very upmarket, highly sought-after area * All reviews remark on the spectacular views from our house * Absolute quiet and tranquility awaits you when you come home * Ample free parking (Parking in Bondi Beach area is very difficult and expensive) * Surrounded by large trees, greenery and birds constantly coming & going * Your courtyard with outside tables and chairs and sun and privacy, shared with guests from our other suite * Superior facilities such as HDTV, coffee-machine, blade-less fan, exquisite towelling * Fully air-conditioned. * Electric bicycles for hire on your doorstep. You do not look out onto a maze of other blocks of flats or buildings. From your courtyard, you see just one, exquisite adjoining property, and for the rest, you walk to and from your home in utmost serenity and privacy, with 270 degree views all the way until your entrance. Our haven of tranquility and beauty, birds and nature has now been booked solid since we recently began our first full-time listing and we warmly invite you to enjoy a relaxed, easy-going, soft and welcoming nest which can be your home here in Sydney. Why would you choose another place? We love what we do and we enjoy meeting the amazing people we meet. Best of all, read the reviews left by guests. And we have many repeat guests who seem magically attracted to our little haven. Guest access is via the inclinator (lift), a modern mini-funicular railway, from the road to the house, or via stairs (which is what we usually use). You then have access to the Studio room which, of course, has its own private access, via your own courtyard which is shared with guests from our other Airbnb unit. Please see photos. I'm known as a friendly and easy going person (I hope I am – I work as a psychotherapist), and I’m usually easily available for assistance or advice if needed. I speak English and Hebrew fluently and German and Dutch moderately and my wife speaks French. I can get by in Russian as well, but you have to speak very slowly! When guests ask for something, I generally go out of my way to accommodate them including, check-in times to suit arrivals (must be pre-arranged). I’m sometimes available for a coffee and a chat - with suggestions on where to go and what to do, but if guests want privacy, I totally stay away from any interaction. I may also be available for an airport pickup but that has to be pre-arranged. The apartment is in trendy North Bondi. Within a five-minute walk are Shuk Cafe and other eateries, a laundrette, medical facility, and bottle store. The excitement of Bondi Beach is an eight-minute walk away, where there are restaurants and bars. Try Hurricanes for a wonderful steak or perhaps try Sababa for an authentic Middle Eastern Street Meal. There are convenience stores, supermarkets and a variety of shops around, plus an open air market on Saturdays just around the corner. Bus 379 which runs every 10 minutes, is just 90 seconds away from your Studio. It routes to the Sydney City Centre via Bondi Junction Train Station. From Bondi Junction Train Station, you can get to almost anywhere in the greater Sydney area via the Underground/Train service. NEW NEW. Thanks to the adventurousness of one of our guests, there is a gorgeous and easy and picturesque way to get to the city. Take bus 380 (4 minutes away) to Watsons Bay and then take the FERRY to Circular Quay in the city, taking in the sights of Sydney's east and the Harbour and the Bridge, and the Opera House, all from the sea! And if you are coming by car, of course, there is ample parking right outside the Studio at all times of the day or night. This is a huge plus!! Parking can be impossible at Bondi Beach and is very very expensive. Your booking includes a cleaning of charge of $105 of which $75 is for vacuuming and full cleaning of the Studio room, and laundry fee of $25 for the cleaning of towels, bathmat, laundry and ironing of sheets and pillow-cases. Nothing else to note really - apart from bus 379, which is just 90 seconds away, there are several other bus-lines which are 3 minutes away. Laundry service, pharmacy, convenience store is a 5 minute walk away Bondi Beach with a wide range of restaurants and facilities is just 10 minutes away. The famous Bondi-Bronte walk is just 10 minutes away. Oh, and electric bicycles are on hire right on your doorstep. Everything is near to hand ... and yet you will be in a secluded and wonderful paradise when you get home.

Apartment in Rushcutters Bay
Stylish, Modern Retreat in Central Sydney with Car Space
Clean, bright, contemporary, and decorated with a striking collection of modern indigenous artwork, this Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay apartment offers guests a sheltered and sophisticated home just minutes from all the entertainment Sydney has to offer. Situated in one of the most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods in Australia, it is a vibrant inner-urban community with grand old Art Deco buildings and harbour-side parks. It's walking distance to the city through the Botanic Gardens. Our home is well designed, comfortable, clean, secure and fully equipped with everything you will need. Welcome to our gorgeous apartment in the heart of Sydney's most stylish neighbourhood, Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay. The apartment is located on the entry level of a secure building, faces north with tranquil garden views. Although very central the apartment is located in a quiet, leafy street. The studio is fashionably decorated and is styled with captivating and dynamic contemporary Australian Indigenous art. Our apartment comfortably fits two people with a real (and comfortable) queen size bed, but can easily accommodate a 3rd guest on the large sofa. On arrival please make yourself at home. I have left a tray with essentials bread, milk, etc or there is a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge. Designed and equipped for Airbnb visitors, the apartment is surrounded by walking streets, shopping, cafes and restaurants in an attractive village style area. The weekend markets are full of organic produce, quirky street shopping & more great coffee! Metro buses & trains are only minutes away, although it's only a short walk to the city and surrounds. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to harbour side, Beare and Rushcutters Bay parks, tennis courts and marina. It is 5 - 15 minutes walk to galleries, and the retail and restaurant precincts of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Potts Point. We provide a computer/internet/wi fi/television for use, plus a few notable books and guides that will introduce you to Australian/Sydney life and culture. The kitchen has ample cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, oven, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and essential foodstuffs for your visit. Towels and fresh linen are provided and the bathroom is stocked with a variety of toiletries and many handy items to enhance your visit if you should need them. The bathroom includes a washing machine/dryer & hairdryer and powerpoint in the cupboard. There is a very long full length mirror in the hallway. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, clean and safe. There is also a roof top garden area for views of surrounding regions and embodies an outdoor, more casual roof-top garden atmosphere. You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. We will try to meet you as you arrive to give the grande tour plus leave you the keys. However, my busy academic schedule precludes being available all of the time. I visit the Western Desert regularly. Details will be provided at time of booking. There is one set of keys, two keys to the set. Please leave the keys on the kitchen bench when you leave. We will always be available via phone or email (even when we are outside of Sydney metro region). In the event of an emergency, you will find a list of contact details in the house manual. I'm available on email, text message or by phone (if I'm not in a meeting!). I pride myself on being responsive. Within easy reach of Sydney's cultural attractions, but sheltered in picturesque surroundings, Elizabeth Bay is a relaxed neighbourhood with a wonderful array of boutique shops, noteworthy restaurants, cosy cafes, and organic farmers' markets. The apartment is set in a quiet leafy street in an inner-city area of Sydney, about two kilometres east of the CBD, central to the fashionable suburbs of Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Kings Cross and Darlinghurst. Walk just about everywhere. I prefer to walk everywhere - is the perfect place to start exploring what the city has to offer. Transport options are abundant. Bus stop is located 2 mins from the apartment. Kings cross train station is a short 5min stroll from the studio and there is abundance of taxis around. Plenty of choices! Although designed for the comfort of Airbnb visitors, the small studio apartment is also treated as our home away from home. As my daughter (in New York) and myself (Hawkesbury region on the outskirts of Sydney) frequently stay in Sydney, we have endeavoured to make the space as comfortable and stylish as possible for our stopovers and short breaks. We hope that our guests enjoy it as much as we do. Within easy reach of Sydney's cultural attractions, but sheltered in picturesque surroundings, Rushcutte Bay is a relaxed neighbourhood with a wonderful array of boutique shops, noteworthy restaurants, cosy cafes, and organic farmers' markets. The apartment is set in a quiet leafy street in an inner-city area of Sydney, about two kilometres east of the CBD, central to the fashionable suburbs of Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Kings Cross and Darlinghurst. Your guide to Sydney

All About Sydney

Known worldwide for its pristine beaches and lively harbour, Sydney is a top destination for travelers from around the world. Its wildlife, architecture, and climate are among the many well-known reasons to visit, but the city is also home to renowned coffee roasters, a burgeoning food scene, quirky pubs, and an effervescent nightlife. Art and culture are also vital to Sydney’s soul with its many museums and theatres, as well as the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Locals and visitors alike flock to Darling Harbour to shop, dine by the wharf, or stroll along the water’s edge. When it comes to waterside walks, Sydney is a great place to explore paths and trails with stunning panoramic views of the skyline. It is also a great area for swimming, and just outside the city core are a number of options for soaking up the sun.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Sydney

Given the city’s sub-tropical climate, there’s no bad time to book a vacation rental. While winters are not hot, they can range from temperate to cool, which makes this season the best time to get out and explore coastal trails or hike in the Blue Mountains, just an hour’s drive from the city. In the hot spring and summer months, it is best to limit strenuous activities during the peak hours of sunshine and find a shaded patio, hip cafe, or a spot on the beach to cool down. Sydney comes alive in summer, when its many lush walks, parks, and botanical gardens offer a respite from the heat. Although it tends to be rainier in the summer, there is much more sunshine on average, which ensures a lot of clear skies on any visit throughout the year.

Top things to do in Sydney

Royal Botanical Gardens

The iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge are musts for any visitor, but there are a number of ways to see and experience them. The Royal Botanical Gardens offer a different approach with panoramic views from a relaxed, open atmosphere that visitors can explore at their leisure. You’ll find lots of paths to explore, lawns to picnic on, and quiet places to sit and watch the ferries.

Oceanside Bondi Icebergs Pool

Bondi Beach is one of the area’s most picturesque and visited places to swim — and swimming in the Olympic-size pool built into the rocky coast is on many visitors’ bucket lists. Whether you want to do laps or just lounge, it’s a pretty magical experience to watch the waves crash against the shore and spill into the turquoise lanes of this pool.

Cockatoo Island

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a window into Sydney’s past. The island was the site of a penal establishment as well as the country’s largest shipyard and ship-building site for over 130 years. It is also a unique place to visit to get great views of the city. For an interactive experience, follow the teal “Hello” signs.
