Great quiet place in a small village. The area for guests was really nice, the bed was comfy and the facilities are good. Would stay again, just be warned the walk to the house is quite steep and there are many steps to climb inside the house for those who are travelling with big luggage!

A unique accommodation with modern living area on the 2nd floor. Here you will find everything you need to take care of yourself. The charm of the lovingly restored rectory can be felt on every corner. Francisco and his family are very hospitable and extremely helpful. He is always available and happy to have a chat. In the village there are supermarkets and the connection to the public bus is excellent. We were here for hiking and to visit Merano. We could leave the own car confidently at the nearby parking lot. We are happy to come back and highly recommend a stay with Francisco.

Ida’s lovely B&B makes you feel at home! Breakfast is fantastic, the views are some of the best we stayed in traveling through this region, and Ida was so lovely, she is so accommodating! The rooms are spacious and very clean and the mountains are so peaceful surrounding this place. We would highly recommend staying with Ida!!

The accommodation is located directly on a mountainside and you have from the rooms a very nice view of the opposite side of the valley. The room was equipped with everything you need and the pension is very clean. The breakfast is something for everyone. From sausage to yogurt with cereals everything is available. The communication with Ida was easy. She is very helpful and has given me some hiking maps and restrant tips. I can only recommend the property.

Ida is a great host! She is very kind and offered to make food for me so i did not have to go down from the mountain. The place is clean and the surroundings green. All you need for a short stay south of Tirol

On this year's mountain bike Alpencross tour from Garmisch to Bolzano, we stayed overnight in Ida's house after a very strenuous stage. But that was not comparable to the other hotel nights, but rather a loving care and cooking by Ida. All participants continued to rave about Ida's tomato sauce and the food. If you want to feel really good and nice, stay here and eat. The view and location is unique. My warmest recommendation.

Ida is a wonderful hostess! The breakfast is a dream - especially her homemade jams, fruit drinks and fresh fruits from her garden. She gave is great information about local sites and restaurants, and was very pleasant and friendly through-out.

The apartment is nice, well maintained and clean. Everything is new. The bed is comfortable. It's all there, what you need for cooking. There is also plenty of information about the environment in the apartment. We also got helpful tips from Egon. The apartment is close to the center with restaurants, cafes and shops, and next to the cable car, which brings you to the mountains, where there are many hiking trails and huts.

The location of the accommodation is awesome. On the one hand you have on the balcony a magnificent view of the underlying city of Merano, on the other were restaurants, hiking trails, shops and bus stops in a few minutes. I had a very pleasant time with Thomas and I would like to come back in the spring.

Everything was great and as described.

The weekend in South Tyrol in the "Herzgütl" far exceeded our expectations! The view from the room is actually absolutely terrific. Food and drink in the beer garden - discounted for guests - were delicious and just right after a hiking day. The accommodation offers for tours an ideal starting point, but also to Meran (we were there in the spa, highly recommended!) Are only a few minutes by car. The room has everything you need and the balcony is perfect for sitting outside for a while. Martin and Maria and all employees of the beer garden were incredibly friendly and helpful. Since we still have an "invoice" with the mountain open, we will be happy to come back next year!

I have been to many AirBnBs during my travels, but I can’t remember a better one than this one. We arrived right before it started pouring in the valley, so we got to eat dinner well-sheltered in their outdoor biergarten that not only looks out onto the valley, but also has two castles in clear view. The food is homey, and you can either have red wine that Martin makes himself or a beer with local apple juice (just order the big one). The next day, we woke up to an amazing view. There are a number of daytrips you can do. 1. Cable car in Lana (we also paraglided here). 2. Morning walk down into Merano along a path through apple orchards and vineyards. 3. Cable car up to Hochmuth where you can have a meal up in the mountains and go on a number of hikes. Our second night, we returned late for a dessert and another glass of wine. They have a kitchen for your use that’s very clean, but because the food at their Biergarten is yummy and totally reasonably priced, there’s no reason to use it. Martin is also always helpful and kind. You can tell from the warmth that this is a family business.

The room has a stunning view from the balcony, where you can have breakfast very well. Alternatively, the cozy sitting area in the very well equipped and super clean communal kitchen or the adjoining terrace of the beer garden can be used! The room is small but nice and alone because of the beautiful view with afternoon sun worth the trip!

Nice room, private bathroom, absolutely beautiful view from our balcony, and the biergarten was a great place to relax and have a meal when we were feeling tired.

The accommodation is perfectly located in the middle of the village of Tyrol, yet quiet with a view of the castle. The beer garden at the house is perfect for a beer to arrive or a cozy dinner perfect. Maria and Martin are always ready with their kind kind for good tips + information. We had a wonderful time in the mountains!

Gabi and Thomas are friendly and uncomplicated hosts. There are tips and extensive information. It is quiet with parking in front of the house and with beautiful views of the Meraner valley. In the center one is fast if one knows the right ways. We had 30 minutes with stroller needed. With stairs it is certainly shorter and faster. But basically everything is possible with a stroller or bicycle (e-bike). Also the garden can be useful. Price / performance was right for us. We will be back.

The apartment is super central and you are within 10 minutes walking in the center of Merano. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the apartment is very clean, furnished with attention to detail. The view of the valley and the mountains from the balcony is impressive. Gabi is a very nice host who has provided us with lots of information about excursions. Here we spent a few very nice days. We would come back anytime!

This is probably the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The views are incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice! Andrea and Wolfgang were very hospitable, providing helpful tips and even making us bread and giving us a prosecco on New Year’s Eve! The apartment is in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants in schenna, as well as plenty of hiking routes from the doorstep. We didn’t have a car, and didn’t feel we needed one as the buses stop 100m from the house as well as everything we needed being within easy reach. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend!

We spent Christmas in Schenna and Wolfgang and Andrea were amazing hosts. They are kind and generous and made our Christmas away from home extra special. The space has the most amazing aspect from all windows and you will never get sick of views. There are supermarkets close to the house and a bus stop 5 mins away that can take you back into Merano or the local ski mountain. There is also a walking track that goes right past the house that can take you to both Merano or Schenna. Despite being only a 15 minute bus ride into Merano, you have the peace of the top of a mountain. Do your self a favour and book this place.

The accommodation in the Goidnerhof we really liked, as we love old houses with history. The apartment is very clean and modern and furnished. We had breakfast every morning on the balcony with a view and enjoyed the sun. The garden is like a paradise for all ages with swimming pool and many fruit trees and vineyards. Also, the connection to Merano is very easy to reach by bus and the Marlinger Waalweg can start directly from there.

The accommodation of Thomas was very impressed! Especially for families with children, the apartment on the farm with animals and swimming pond is very good! Especially the location in the apple orchards with direct access to countless hiking trails is very attractive. The proximity to Merano is an absolute plus. By car, the city center can be reached in five to ten minutes, depending on traffic conditions. The farm has four apartments, our was spotless, very neat, well equipped and with plenty of storage space for luggage with child! Also W-Lan, cot and high chair were available. We were absolutely thrilled by the morning bread service, which saves the daily walk to the bakery, as well as the farm's own products, for example apple juice or plums from the tree. We felt very comfortable as a family!

If you’re looking for a nature full immersion this is the right place for you. We had an amazing time. Even stayed longer than we planned to and would have stayed even longer but holidays can’t last forever 😉. Dogs are welcome which for us is crucial. Thank you for everything, Roswitha.

Fantastically beautiful. Located in the Passeiertal on the hillside you will find here a perfect place to draw rest and strength. Highlight: Breakfast on the spacious balcony with eggs fresh from the courtyard and view of the Ötztal Alps! The apartment is very spacious for two people, very well equipped and well maintained. Everything is available and sparkling clean. Roswitha is friendly, answers promptly and has good tips. Unfortunately, the stay was way too short, we will definitely come back!

I can add one original point to the good reviews. The farm is a great base for day hikes! It sits at the edge of a nature park and a hiker can find trails that lead from the back of the farm and up into the mountains. The place was perfectly clean and the hostess was very generous and kind, making our stay very enjoyable.

Very nice hostess, we even got home-baked bread and eggs from the farm. You can also on the spot fresh milk etc. buy. Below the farm there is still honey from beekeepers. The driveway is a bit curvy but if you get the hang of it works flawlessly. Thank you dear Roswita.

Wonderful farm right on the edge of Merano, ideal base for exploring the area. For the ride to the city center there is a bus stop directly in front of the farm. And besides: super great hosts. We felt very comfortable again.

Christine's place is in a lovely semi-rural area called Gratsch just outside of Merano city limits. It's about 20 minutes to walk to the centre of Merano, or less to walk to the train station. Christine was very communicative, bubbly and helpful. She even offered to drive us to the train station on check-out day. The rooms themselves are just as shown in the listing: simple, clean and functional. They are in a converted alpine barn, and there are ducks, chickens, cats and dogs all wondering about the green space surrounding.

Very central accommodation with nice hostess.

We stayed with Claudia for 4 weeks and it was amazing. She welcomed us very warmly and we had a very good time with her and her family. The location is right at the centre of Meran and everything is in walking distance. There is a small balcony where you can enjoy the sunset.

We (2 persons) spent one night in June 2017 in Claudia's room. Check-in was very smooth. We felt very comfortable in the apartment which consists of two bedrooms. However, the other room is usually not used. Room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable. The apartment is located extremely central in the heart of the old city center surrounded by pubs and restaurants. Thanks for everything, Claudia.

What a great apartment! It has everything you need for a relaxed stay in Meran and if we come back to Meran, we would definitely like to stay there again!

Lovely flat in the centre. Very clean. We had a bathroom for ourselves. Claudia was not at home during our visit but a friend of her came for checking in. Everything was fine. You can park for free next to the station (not on Friday!!!), wich is about 10 walking-minutes away from the flat.

Exceptional hospitality. Beautiful view of the mountains covered in snow. Special touches such as little chocolates on the beds. Mr Eggar even had coffee with us the next morning at the coffee shop next door. Please stay here if you have the chance! Merano and Bolzano is also close by to travel to via bus if this small town gets too small. Highly recommend!

It was a special experience for us to spend the night in the historic Thalerhof. Mr. Egger is a perfect host! Of course everything is clean and lovingly prepared for the guest. Very nice room with private bath, unfortunately only without kitchen (as indicated). By bus you are very fast in Merano and by bus and train quickly in Bolzano. Super fast and friendly communication! Tip: ask for the favorite pizzeria of Mr. Egger! It's worth it!

Incredible positionen in a parish house just a few km from Merano on the road that leads to Passo Giovo. An entire apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining corner and a vintage lounge area. The four double rooms that Francisco rents (separately or the whole apartment) overlook this common space. He has thought of everything. Even in the bathroom there were make-up wadding headbands. Perfect communication. For the first day Francisco booked for me lunch (which later became dinner) on a farm for the Törggelen and sent me precise directions to reach it. His very young mother was also very kind and helpful, with whom I had the pleasure of chatting a little. I will definitely come back next year.

We only stayed here one night but it was a great place! Francisco was super helpful and the room was nice and clean. I know this is mentioned in the house notes - but the church bells do ring all night, so we didn’t have the best nights sleep. Other than that - highly recommend it!

We spent 2 days in Riffian at Fracisco. The entrance is a bit difficult to find, but with him on the phone no problem. By car you can drive to the front door to load and unload things, but parking is free on the free public car park about 50m from the property. The building is very old, but very well maintained. The rooms were nicely decorated, everything was clean, and everything you needed: towels / sheets / shower gel / Wattepads. If you book the accommodation, you should be aware that other guests share the kitchen and it is relatively noisy. So you should be open for everything :) The kitchen equipment was above average: from salt to cereal and garlic to pots and pans ... everything available. Francisco and his mum welcomed us warmly in their accommodation. Both speak excellent German which has made the communication for us incredibly easy. Francisco went out of his way to explain everything, was always there for us and always available. We can only say it was a super enjoyable stay, Francisco is a rather cosmopolitan person who is really fun to talk to. :)

The view from the balcony is fantastic and spectacular to see the valley of Merano. Clean room, perfectly prepared chicken facilities, useful informations, parking facilities, very nice staff, all in all, we satisfied and very pleasant stay for 3 nights. Extraordinary values for the money. Thanks for the responsive host Martin and his staff. Highly recommend to stay at Nettes einfaches Zimmer mit herrlicher Aussicht(Biergarten).

The location of Pension Herzgütl is simply unique. We had from our balcony and the beer garden a magnificent panorama overlooking apple orchards, vineyards and high mountain peaks, the Adige Valley up to the Vinschgau and down almost to Bolzano and especially the castle Tyrol, which is within walking distance and definitely worth a visit is. Martin, Maria and her team had taken us very warmly, were always approachable and helpful, we felt in the 6 days in the Pension Herzgütl completely comfortable. On top of that, the food in the beer garden is delicious, and for us as house guests there was even a 10% discount.

This room has to offer one of the best views in Tirol!! Just wow!! Martin was a lovely host and went out of his way to provide a parking spot close to the accomodation which was sincerely appreciated. We were also very grateful to be able to do a load of washing. The room was comfortable and very clean. Highly recommended. Thank you so much.

We were allowed to spend a few nights in the really nice accommodation of Maria & Martin in beautiful Tyrol. The view and the belonging to the property beer garden are wonderful. A very good breakfast we got in the nearby hotel for 12 € / pp A spontaneous extension of our stay was no problem and also our minibus found in an underground car park a place. Good tips in the area there was free and even with questions Martin always stood with advice and act aside. Thank you very much :)

The room was small but completely adequate for us! We slept very well ... the mattress is great and it was very quiet. The view from the balcony is wonderful! Martin was very friendly. We felt very comfortable and like to come back!
