There are 5 smart TVs for your viewing pleasure, laundry on-site, a BBQ grill and fire pit. Centrally located, the large front porch gives a perfect perch to sip some sweet tea while you people watch and enjoy the kids playing in the large front yard. Our cabin is the perfect getaway to enjoy nature, coffee on the front porch or a cocktail on the upstairs deck, a ride in the woods or a swim in the freshwater creeks. It is a great place to enjoy a romantic weekend, or a vacation with the kids and your pets for outdoor adventures which include hiking or biking the many trails and ravines, or capturing images of birds and other wildlife with your camera. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking and dining on the front porch.

The Cabin is a cozy getaway located on a 4.5 acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes away from the Baton Rouge Airport and Walmart. Downtown Baton Rouge and LSU are about 20 minutes away so if you’re planing to watch a game or enjoy the city it is a little bit of a drive. There's also a simple walking trail that goes to an over view of the Comite River. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk and can be challenging for small children but will be enjoyable for out door lovers.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Sports cars do not fare well here. Please note that the address listed on Airbnb is not our location. I will email you directions.

Birdsong

This cozy and well-appointed cabin is perfect for bird watchers, writers, or those looking to experience the serenity of the woods. The first floor has a large living/dining area with a sofa, dining table, modern, fully furnished kitchen and full bathroom. There’s a double size air mattress available upstairs. The downstairs contains a bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. The cabin is 8 miles north of downtown St. Francisville and close to shopping, hiking and dining.

Cajun Acres Log Cabin

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.
