The cabin is located in Signaldalen about 110 kilometers from Tromsø city. Located by the Signaldalen river, which is surrounded by high mountains and mighty nature. There is a short distance to the high mountains for skiing/peak tours/hiking/hunting and northern lights experiences. There is also a snowmobile trail in winter. The cabin has electricity, running water and a sauna. Bed linen and towels are included. There is a well-equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster and kettle. The nearest store (Hatteng) as well as a barbecue bar is 6 km from the cabin.

The area is a good location to see northern lights and arctic animals. Here you can fish in the fjord that is icy 6 months a year, go mountain hikes in the nearby area or drive into Tromsø which takes about 30 minutes. The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Nice place, unique nature and northern lights

The place is perfect for northern lights watching and nature experiences with proximity to the Lyngen alps. Cottage is 250 m from the main road so in winter times you need 4wd car for going there! Price pr night to hire the jacuzzie is 50 euro. price pr night for the sauna is 30 euro. Offer this season a rent car SUV with 4wd; Range Rover Sport for 160 euro pr day.
