When you're looking for a complete break from everyday life here, you can do it, and everyday things get a new meaning. An electric cabin allows you to be present here and now. A separate summer kitchen on a cliff with the most stunning scenery is a point for enjoyment. Gas stove and grill in use. A bed for one in a barn, a loft in the sauna room and a sofa bed that can be spread out. You'll also have access to a rowing boat and a subboard. A lot heats up for a separate fee. A fire pit on the beach. There are a lot of stairs in this home, so please note when booking.

Cottage by the lake

If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic tableware, TV, radio, smoke detectors.

Kaikissa huoneissa on suuret panoraamaikkunat ja huikeat näkymät luontoon ja järvelle. Mökki on varusteltu vaativaankin makuun kaikilla mukavuuksilla, pohjoismaisilla design-huonekaluilla ja nykytaiteella. Puulämmitteisestä saunasta on vain muutama askel loivasti syvenevälle hiekkarannalle ja isolle laiturille, jolta pääsee pulahtamaan järveen ja talvella avantoon!

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

The wood-heated sauna has soft steam and a large landscape window. The sauna has a large terrace area for lounging and cooking (barbecue and smoker). Good opportunities for fishing, berry picking, cycling, golf, skiing, etc. The outdoor hot tub, rowing boat, 2 SUP boards and 2 kayaks are freely available to tenants all year round.

Welcome to spend time at Villa Tihvet! Here you can relax by sauna and swimming. You can also spend time outdoors, cycling, paddling, paddleboarding or walking in the woods. Repovesi National Park's Lapinsalmi parking area is about 10 minutes' drive. The cottage is fully equipped and sleeps seven people. There is also the possibility of additional mattresses for more guests. In connection with the atmospheric sauna, it is also possible to rent a hot tub.

Villa Myllymäki

Built on top of Myllymäki with your own hands, it's easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the stunning scenery. The entire window the size of the end wall frames the stunning lake scenery. The farm has about 40 acres of animal grazing forest that guarantees easy and great hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10km by car or 6km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

The closest grocery store is just a 5-minute drive away in the center of Anttola. If you're looking for a place to stay in the tranquility of nature by the lake, or your interests are camping/hiking, I recommend our cozy cabin for your stay. There is a good road all the way here.
