Pascal did a great job of letting us know there is a home under construction just below the home. The noise was not bad at all. The home is open so relying on the breeze over the windward side of the island is important. The bedroom has AC which is nice if your are staying in the summer and the kitchen has everything you will ever need. Tania, the co-host, is amazing and such a great help as she knows just about everything about the island.

Don’t hesitate to book this place. What you see in the photos and description are exactly what you get. This is truly the bargain of St Barths. The cottage isn’t big but it works perfectly for 2 people. Vitet is a great location with easy drives to the beaches or to La Petite Colombe for your morning baguette. Marie Eliane is a great host, responsive and caring and arranged for weekly cleaning and changing of towels and sheets. It feels nice and quiet and the most intrusive neighbors are the tortoises.

The Island is beautiful and small but no public transportation. We had reserved a car at the airport but they close early, at 6.00pm. Taxis are very few and we were unable to order one. Alexandre offered to pick us up after his work. He also took us to the car rental in the morning, much appreciated. Rental is a must if staying in most places in St Barths, the sun is hot and very strong. We booked a flight for St Marten and at the the last minuet flights were canceled, and told we were on our own, so we had to find a ride to the port for the ferry, only to be told ferry's were booked up for 2 days. Stranded literally. After spending 5 hours on stand by for a ticket to St Marten we finally were lucky enough to get on. Our flight had already left for the USA. We found a hotel in St Marten and made our flight home the next day. Ferry's are very few, not sure why?, I lived in the Greek Islands. Perhaps this info could be a reminder from the BNB. Ive also been a BNB host.

Amazing location a few feet from the shops and restaurants in Gustavia. The unit is clean, comfortable and had parking which was a major advantage. Would stay again!

This apartment exceeded expectations. The photos really do not do it justice. The recent upgrades are beyond impressive and the location the best possible in Gustavia. Peter, the owner, is extremely responsive and helpful. This is now my new "home" in St Barths! Thank you, Peter!!
