Bonjour, Hello, Hallo, We're renting a 538sq/feet, newly renovated, fully equipped flat with sloping ceiling , on the last floor of a detached chalet located on the heights of a peaceful hamlet. It includes a big terrace , parking, 2 king size beds (5,25 feet) and enjoys a beautiful view over the mountains. We live between Jausiers and Barcelonnette. It's a perfect location to go skiing, hiking, enjoy Barcelonnette's festivities or Jausiers' lake. Linen is provided. We hope to see you soon.

Perfect for hiking, running, cycling, yoga, reading. Our two cats like to come and purr on the terrace. No visual pollution, calm nights, starry sky. A vehicle is essential because unfortunately there is no public transport. Plan to have snow tires or chains between November and March (mountain law).

The nest

Formerly called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's cabin was used as a kitchen and dining room. It was where milk was turned into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbours , and where social life was forged. Tools,seeds, crops , were also stored in the tree. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a feeling of protection, peace, conducive to rest.
