Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Saint John

This villa was only a few km from English Harbour situated on a quiet hilltop overlooking the bay near St. James Club. Our stay provided our family a great starting point to explore the beaches and English Harbour. Not related to the house, it took us a few days to get accustomed to driving on the left and being on dirt roads. You must have AWD or 4 wheel drive to access this rental. Lots of towels and beach chairs made our stay that much easier. Kitchen was very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Photos are spot on and represent the house perfectly. Host was easily available and accommodating. Thank you!

From me my wife and 2 kids arrived we were met by buba with the warmest welcome. The cottage is like a home away from home. Buba has gone far and beyond to make sure we were take care of from taking us to eat, grab essentials and a lovely day at pigeon point beach. This is the destination to stay for a nice relaxing get away!! Will be staying again.

We stayed at Mario and Jikesy place for a month while visiting Antigua for the 1st time. I was hesitant at 1st while booking as I didn't see no reviews but I'm glad that I followed my mind. The place was well kept in a very peaceful neighborhood. The local people made us feel right at home by providing us with coconuts,mangoes and other fruits. There was ample supply of towels and bed linen. We enjoyed our stay and made some friends. I would definitely recommend this place. Also, I would love to stay here again.

Peaceful and lovely house. Perfect setting to relax and enjoy a great time with friends. We loved everything about it, the pool , the rooms and living room, the AC, the back view. Kitchen had everything we needed. Walkable to supermarket and beach. Host was responsive and very nice. Made great use of the portable Bluetooth speaker. We were glad to be able to do everything by foot. Beaches hopping was easy with city bus which is a short walk from bus stop. Jolly beach is a short walk away. We were 4 friends and really enjoyed this rental house. We felt right at home.

We fell in love with this beautiful location and comfortable house. Simonetta and Mark were kind, generous and attentive hosts - thank you for making my Birthday one to remember! The space and facilities were perfect. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and fabulous outdoor space - the views from the wrap around veranda were exceptional. Galleon bay itself is a lovely area, you can easily get to English Harbour either by car or the water taxi from the beach, safe swimming and the national park trail on your doorstep. Fantastic atmosphere and food at the loose canon beach bar ( although you will hear the parties at the house it was never a problem) - can’t wait to come back.

Great house with the best location on the beach. Only thing - we did not know this is inside and part of a resort with resort routines for checking in and out and coming and going. Charming house and outside deck is top notch!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Deniscia and her family were a big part of making this trip memorable and special. They were very thoughtful, considerate, kind, and generous. The home is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The washing machine was a great addition- it worked well And fast. The location is great, surrounded by lush garden, beautiful flowers in a quiet and local neighborhood with wonderful and helpful neighbors. It is close to several of the island’s beautiful beaches- close to Pigeon Point, English Harbour and one of our favorites, Fig Tree Drive. A great and picturesque drive with fruit stands, local shops, galleries, ice cream, and beautiful beaches along the western coast. We tried a different one everyday and drove all over the island. We came as guests and left as friends. We cannot wait for our return and to bring more friends and family with us to join in on the fun. This home and its hosts & friends are a gem.

If you are looking for a nice, relaxing place with a beautiful Antigua view, then look no further. Mako’s place is spacious and the view is to die for. She stayed in contact with us, which made getting around very easy. Will definitely be back.

Location, location, location! The deck of this condo is directly over the water, overlooking a beautiful secluded beach. Walking distance to a cool old fort and another lovely beach. The pool area is very nice, as well. We had a blast in this comfortable (though not fancy) home.

We really liked this place. It was both close to the facilities around Jolly Harbour, but away from the main shops and houses, which may it feel really private. The sun terrace and pool were great spaces to hang out in as the evening set in and the front room was spacious and relaxing after dark. Each bedroom has a really nice en suite facility and large shower and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Walter came to see us a couple of times and was very friendly. There is currently some construction going on futher down the hill. Most of the time it was pretty quiet, but only a couple of times was there a little more noise. Walter couldn't apologise enough and even gave us a bottle of wine, which was very nice of him! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

I was thinking of giving Merlin House a negative review so that no one else would go there and we could keep it a secret. Instead I’m going to say that this is one of the best AirBnB’s we have stayed at, and absolutely unbeatable for views. Nathan’s hospitality was superb, the location is stunning and peaceful. A better place to relax and enjoy I can’t think of.

Had a great stay. Amazingly conveniently located for both marinas but far enough away for peace and quiet.

All fantastic, I recomend it strongly, everybody envolved with the house very king and great persons. Is been a great choice. We will come back

I had an amazing stay in Antigua! Thomas was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. The property was just renovated and had everything we needed. It was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully equipped. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus during our stay. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and overall convenience made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Antigua!

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The apartment featured two comfortable queen beds and a single bed, accommodating our group perfectly. The ocean view was breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop to our mornings and evenings. We greatly appreciated the convenience of the in-unit washer and dryer, making our stay even more comfortable. The apartment was impeccably furnished with all the essentials and more, truly making it a home away from home. Its prime location allowed us easy access to everything . Had a really great time in Antigua and Shawn and his Airbnb were a big part of this! Firstly Shawn was super friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a really convenient location, close enough to shops, beach and town, all just a short drive away, but also in a private and quite secluded area. The apartment was comfortable and cosy, and felt like a home away from home, would definitely stay again!

A great place to spend a couple nights on the outskirts of St John's. It has very fast 50-100 Mbps download speed wifi that was perfect for getting some remote work done, however it doesn't have a table or desk. It's very comfortable and modern, with nice beds, a good shower with consistent hot water, great air conditioning in the bedrooms, and a basic but functional kitchen. The only callout I want to mention: it's in an extremely suburban location, making having a car or access to a hired driver almost a necessity - it's about a 45-60 minute walk into central St John's, including the nearest big supermarket / restaurants / banks etc. through a part of town that didn't feel the safest. But if you want an oasis of peace on the outskirts of the big city that's both quiet and beautiful, this would make an excellent accommodation for your stay near the city.
