Within the Domaine de l 'Orfraie, at the borders of the plain and the Vendéen bocage, the Gîte de l' Orfraie is ideally located between La Rochelle and Le Puy du Fou, the ocean and the Poitevin marsh. You will enjoy its one hectare landscaped park as well as its heated pool in summer. You will appreciate the calm of nature in this cottage created in 2021 in an old farmhouse. In the heart of the forest, not far from Vendee beaches, Puy du Fou, Poitevin marsh or La Rochelle . In the summer, enjoy the pool and terrace. Baby supplies possible. Bed made upon your arrival. Towels provided. If you want to come with friends, there is the option to book the adjoining cottage "guesthouse" to share a stay together.

This former mill (mid-19th century), carefully renovated, at the gates of the Marais Poitevin, is classified "4 stars furnished de Tourisme". On 3 levels, this mill respects the traditional local architecture and the nature that surrounds it. The mill has kept its narrow and original miller's staircase. Combining wood, exterior coating with lime, noble materials, it is turned towards respect for the environment.
