My cottage in Pélasque ***

Air-conditioned apartment 45 minutes from Nice airport and Saint Augustin train station (accessible by bus line 90), in the Vésubie valley, at the gates of the Mercantour National Park, with many outdoor activities and places of interest nearby. There is a Carrefour Market open 7/7 and 24/24 gas station 10 minutes from the accommodation by car. The first restaurant is in the center of the village 5 minutes drive away, I can book you a table there.

The nest

Formerly called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's cabin was used as a kitchen and dining room. It was where milk was turned into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbours , and where social life was forged. Tools,seeds, crops , were also stored in the tree. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a feeling of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

Depending on the time of year, you can see wild animals in the garden.

The accommodation is renovated (May 2020). It consists of a kitchen area open to the living room, which opens onto a charming balcony. There is also a shower room with towel dryer and washing machine. The toilet is separate. Finally, there is a small bedroom. Please note, to access the bed, you need to climb a few steps.

The apartment ,Ground floor of the chalet,is located in a quiet residential area with panoramic views of the Mercantour three kilometers from the center of the beautiful village of Saint Martin Vésubie.La Colmiane and Le Boréon, are 10 minutes by car. I live on site and therefore am very available to guests.
