Vacation rentals with breakfast in Salem

Gwen’s place was absolutely beautiful, with amazing plants and decor throughout the home, clearly well loved and with an artist’s inspired touch. Beautiful gardens, plentiful spaces to comfortably sit and gather. Such a sweet experience, and close to the many offering of Kittery and Portsmouth. I hope to return.

Fantastic place to stay. Close to the beaches and Portsmouth. Plenty of places to visit close by. House was beautiful and the host was amazing. We will be back.

Do not sleep on this incredible stay! We adored the beach cottage. Amenities were great like a fully stocked kitchen and laundry. Furniture and linens were high quality and comfortable. We loved morning walks at the private beach. We would come back in a heartbeat!

I can’t say enough good things about this stay! This little lake house was exactly what I needed—peaceful, cozy, and absolutely spotless. It was the perfect spot to unwind, drink coffee on the deck, and just soak in the quiet. The house itself was super clean . You can tell the host really puts thought into making guests feel welcome. The customer service was great—good communication, thoughtful touches, and just an overall warm and inviting experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting, this is it. I’m already looking forward to going back!

From the moment we stepped into this wonderful house in Charlestown we felt instantly at home. Every inch of the home is beautiful and the house is on the historic registry. Megan and Victor were amazing hosts, responding immediately to any question we had. We will definitely be staying there again when we travel to Charlestown. (Hopefully it will be available! 🤞)

Your stay was perfect! So close and walkable to the beach. Our kids had a fabulous vacation and the outdoor shower was used daily! We loved having coffee on the back patio and dinners on the porch. The house is well appointed with everything you need and extra touches to make the beach days easier (beach chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler bags). The neighborhood is quiet and close to grocery stores and a few shops. We loved our stay and hope to come back!

Karen’s home truly is cozy. We were here two weeks before Christmas and it was decorated and beautiful. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well stocked, nice big fluffy towels and I loved the shower! We have stayed in several,places in the Boston area and this is one of the best. Even my dogs loved it!

Nice, light and bright apartment in a wonderful building and Cambridge location. Many restaurants and grocery stores/pharmacies nearby. My teens especially liked the ice cream shop next door. Always great to have laundry available. It is a nice building with a fantastic gym. Views overlooking the city. Had more than expected kitchen supplies, herbs/spices for cooking, etc. Would definitely stay there again if/when we need to be in that area.

Rhona could not have been a more gracious host! We were traveling back east for the holidays and needed a place to stay. In addition to the many treats she left for us, she bought a little Christmas tree! The apartment is perfect with everything you could ever need or want. We could walk to stores and restaurants. If we had questions she was very responsive. Marblehead is a beautiful town. I highly recommend a visit to Rhona’s AirBnB!!

The place was as described and clean. Qing was very nice in allowing me to check-in sooner than the check-in time and waited to check me in. She was opened to receiving messages if anything was needed. I would stay at Qing's place again.

It was a wonderful stay and the place matched the pictures extremely well. I would definitely go back when the weather is warmer to use the patio but other than that it was clean, in a nice area, super close to the train station and convenience store and the beach. Loved it.

This place was absolutely wonderful! Like we stepped right into a Harry Potter wizards world! Love all the thought and love that was put into making this place a magical experience! Would absolutely recommend to others!

Rob’s space was the perfect spot for our Holiday trip to visit family. From the drinks and snacks (and dog treats!) to the welcoming decor, we felt right at home. Rob was very responsive and helped make our stay a positive one. Close drive to the highway, and walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. Recommend!

This was a great place in a beautiful neighborhood. It was so clean it smelled nice when we walked in. We had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Ewa was very kind and nice thoughtful touches around the house.

Thomas was so kind and always responded. We had a few questions before booking and he was extra accommodating for us. The place was absolutely stunning. It was spacious, yet still cozy. Everything is labeled and you never have to wonder about anything. Although a shared house, we didn’t see anyone during our stay, barely heard anyone, too. The bed was the comfiest bed we ever slept on. Would definitely stay again if it’s available the next time we’re in the area!!

Sharon was extremely friendly! She went out of her way to find breakfast pastries for my food allergies! Super sweet! Wonderful space, private room and bathroom. We felt very at home and loved the neighborhood. Lovely drive to nearby areas like Newburyport and Salem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home.

It has been an amazing time in Connie's house. Connie is very warmhearted and caring. The window in the room is beautiful and I had good mood sleeping at night. The house is in a quiet and safe area. Location is very good. I will choose to stay with Connie next time and this is highly recommended

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

This is a gem of a place. The location is great: in a quiet residential neighborhood, a ten-minute walk from the T. The space is terrific. High ceilings, exposed brick, south-facing windows, funky decor. It's even bigger than it seems in the pictures because guests have access to the entire second floor, which includes the bedroom, private bath, living area, and kitchen. Peter and his wife and giant dog pretty much stay up on the third floor, but I did have a very nice conversation with Peter, who is funny and interesting. Overall, top-notch accommodations.

This was truly a unique and memorable place to stay. Melissa was wonderful in accommodating our late check in due to our flight. It was walkable to restaurants and we were given a voucher for a free breakfast. If you want something out of the ordinary, I couldn’t recommend enough.

Hope was a great host to us! She greeted us at the door and made us feel truly at home. She was such a pleasure to talk to and she gave us great insight into the area and recommendations for our time in Salem. Her place was super cozy and unique. I would absolutely recommend for any one traveling to Salem to stay with hope!

Joan's place was charming and bright, located close to restaurants and college campuses we were interested in visiting. We stayed here for a week (including a weekend) and appreciated her kind accommodations (there was orange juice, milk and muesli, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle - a host of other thoughtful items one might need like cutlery or dish soap). The bathroom was sweet, clean and across a hallway no one else seemed to be using. Joan was responsive and kind in all of our communications, and the space was quiet and comfortable. We had privacy and peace in the middle of a bustling city - we loved it.
