Davlat was incredibly helpful and picked us up from the train station in the evening before taking us on a wonderful ride through Samarkand and showing us all of the hot-spots we should hit during our stay. His home was beautiful and sparkling clean — complete with heated floors after long days of walking through the sites in the winter cold! He also gave us welcome food recommendations and we had the best plov right around the corner. He was constantly being a wonderful host and checking in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Very kind local family wellcomes the guests to their house In Samarkand City just 5 mins walking to Ulugbek Observatory and 2 mins to Bus station/taxi. There are 3 persons(parents with a kid) are living in the House which has several rooms in it. You will have one of the best where you can sleep well at night without any disturbance and you can use the bathroom and shower(with clean towels). The room is suitable for 2 adults. The bed covers and comforters are very clean. So Wellcome!
