Super nice apartment, very close to the lake and the main street. Only beware that the garage entrance is a little tight so better if u are driving a small car. For.the rest, a very responsive and nice host.

Spent Christmas at Elaine's with my parents and girlfriend. We had a lovely time at the lake for our holiday. The property is lovely, it has everything you could need and is in a great location. We enjoyed going for swims in the lake everyday off of the jetty, kayaked on Christmas day and visited the other villages on the lake. Elaine and Lee were extremely helpful. Pre-arrival they offered advice regarding how to get to the property. Whilst staying with them, we were given recommendations, bought fish from the local seller and Lee helped my dad to buy tickets for Tikal (Guatemalan card needed to buy the tickets online). Elaine and Lee have taken in a number of dogs and cats that were abandoned. The dogs and cats were really sweet. That being said the dogs were up early in the morning shortly after sunrise so worth being aware of this. On Christmas day, Elaine shared tamales and ponche with us too! All in all a really great stay and lovely holiday. Would definitely recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at Magdalena's Home in San Pedro! The location was fantastic, close to everything you need for a great vacation. Me and my family felt extremely safe. While walking around the area can be a bit tough depending on your age group due to the inclined roads, it’s definitely manageable. Luckily tuk tuk are available upon request and extremely affordable. The only thing I would mention is that there was some noise in the morning due to construction, which is out of the host's control. However, I'm sure once it's finished in a couple of weeks, everything will be perfect. The home itself was cozy with an open concept, and the terrace every morning was serene. What really stood out was how attentive the hosts were; they took care of everything and made sure we felt welcomed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore San Pedro.

Beautiful stay, the location has a 4th floor patio from which we were able to see the sunrise and lounge around. I felt safe and right at home as we were greeted by the hosts with tea and recommendations on what to do and how to get around. Would definitely stay here again when in Lake Atitlan!

By far, the best of the 4 places we stayed in while in Guatemala. We felt very comfortable and were able to get great sleep. We visited with our 4 kids to attend community Spanish school and it was very close by and easy to go back and for the to school. Easy access to town center by TukTuk. Washer and dryer was such a blessing. It was easy to regulate the temp in the house as there were a few windows with screens so we could leave them open without worrying about flies coming in. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great stay in a beautiful well manicured property. Beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen ready for cooking if you want to. We even grilled our own steaks on the gas grill. If you don't want to cook, you can simply hire Carmen who makes fantastic Pepian and Jocon with your choice of protein. The kitchen already has filtered drinking water and ice, no need to buy bottled. Short walk to the town of San Marcos and very nice quaint stores. Everything was as described with breathtaking views. Very attentive caretakers, in particular, Mariano and Edgar, who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. There was a minor accident when kayaking and Edgar raced to the water to assist very quickly and made sure we were safe! If you plan to stay here, be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo. The property is accessible by car and has a parking garage. All in all a pleasant and peaceful time we had there. Thank you!

Clean, friendly small hotel with great personalized breakfast. Clear view of the volcano from our bed! This is out of the center so car, Tuk Tuk or Uber is needed
