Beachfront vacation rentals in San Miguel Department

A very good place to spend with the family, I recommend it 100%, cleanliness, services, excellent.

Overall we had a great time in the house! The lady looking after the house Rubidia was always lovely and helpful with anything we needed, plus she has her own restaurant and will deliver food from her menu to the house when asked! Also, her brother-in-law was kind enough to take us on a boat trip out to the mangroves which was a highlight of the trip. The house itself was lacking in storage space, especially in the bedrooms and kitchen, however I think they are in the process of making improvements. Otherwise, we found it clean when we arrived and there was air conditioning in the bedrooms so we slept comfortably. The good sized pool was also cleaned every day. The house is right on a beautiful beach which had the best sunsets. And if you don't want to be out in the midday sun, the hammocks are a must to take in the sea breeze.

Great spot, it was everything I was looking for. Would recommend a suv/crossover even though a regular car would work as the entrance is about a 100 yard hill dirt road.

It’s right in front of the ocean , which the water is really nice and warm and the waves are not heavy. It’s a 3 min walk to get to the water ! The house it’s a great place to shower and cook. Has a washer and dryer which is nice to dry your swimming suit . There is a lady nena that welcomes you and sales extremely cheap food !!!! It’s delicious. She has many food options. So you don’t have to go anywhere to order food. She’s so sweet Nena she helps u with anything you need !!!! They place does have quite hours by 9pm you can’t play music or be in the pool or electricity outside turns off by 9pm . You’re allowed to be outside but in silence and no pool use . But by 5 am you can use the pool again! The location honestly is INCREDIBLE!

My family and I had the best stay. Joel and his staff were absolutely the best. Don Jose is amazing and Mayra and the kitchen staff cooked amazing food. It’s super private and everyone that worked there were super attentive friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to coming here again!!!

I loved the privacy of the beach, not too touristy. The staff was super sweet and welcoming. Second time staying here, will book aging in a near future.

I almost don't want to write a review because I want it to stay quaint. This is a special place. It is so peaceful and private. It's like having your own paradise. The beach is so beautiful, extraordinary sunsets and not crowded at all. There are almost no words to describe what a wonderful place this is. Ms. Doris is an amazing woman and she wants guests to feel welcome. Her local knowledge was helpful. Her generosity was second to none and her smile and warmth were so inviting. Her food was EXCELLENT. We will be back as soon as possible. Thank you Niña Doris!!!!

Gorgeous place to stay at! Husband and I fell in love with the view of the beach! Everybody is very friendly and helpful! Food are drinks are great! Definitely will go back! ☺️

Great place and location. 5 stars . I wish I could have stayed longer. Very peaceful and relaxing , good food, comfortable bed , nice people and I few steps to the beach and surf. See you next time :)

We had a wonderful time at La Estancia de Don Luis. It has the charming feel of a small family business. Rooms are actually quite basic, but the real treat is the beautiful palm garden and the big pool right at the beach front. There is a very relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly (they only speak Spanish, but we managed anyway). Good food, affordable drinks, it is really a place to relax and unwind which was exactly what we needed after a long roadtrip. If you are looking for fun and entertainment this may not be your place, but if you like relaxing in a hammock, swimming under palm trees, strolling on the beach in beautiful sunsets and very attentive and friendly staff, do not hesitate. The only reason for one less star in the information section is that the address and coordinates in Airbnb are off, but for the rest we found this a five star stay.

Orlando always communicated immediately and was flexible with check-in. This was very important for us because we were able to explore Cuco Beach and other nearby beaches. The rooms are very comfortable, and it's a great place to rest and recharge.

Wouldn’t choose a different place in el cuco to stay at besides this one.

I had to cut my stay at Juan’s place short due to unforeseen circumstances and was highly satisfied with the way Juan handled the situation as an AirBnB host. The house itself features 3 decent sized rooms and a large kitchen/living room area. I also loved the neighborhood and its surroundings, the beach is literally down the street from Juan’s place. Good restaurants are a short walk away as well. Overall I’d say this place will suit those who like to be out and about all day and have a nice place to rest at end of the night.

The bed was really comfortable, and the view was amazing. The pool was the right depth for my 2yr old to stand and walk. They could use some dish towels for the kitchen, but the glassware and dishes were nice. There is a small tide pool to navigate around or walk through below the knee with small fish n crabs in order to walk the beach, the kids enjoyed. I’ll never forget the view or the large waves crashing. The family enjoyed the two nights!

A super nice and tidy place to spend with the family. I especially liked the privacy of the place and also that they were always attentive in case we needed anything. The beach is super close to the ranch.
