My parents rented VILLA JIMENA for 2 months, ( January and February, 2025); they wanted to escape the cold New Jersey, they loved the house. 10/10, very good town, close to restaurants and shops. It has surveillance security 24 hours a day and a quiet neighborhood. Camila gave my parents exceptional service, she was always attentive, she definitely deserves 5**** in SERVICE and COMMUNICATION. Villa Jimena is very nice, cozy and with good taste decorated, everything works perfectly. With a really nice and CLEAN pool. IF you are looking for a house for your stay in San Miguel, I recommend , look no further, at Villa Jimena you will have a stay of 5**** * and you will enjoy. The place was clean and best of all very private… really nice place to stay if want to visit San Miguel and the beaches in el Cuco. The security guards were always helpful and friendly. Hotel Martinez is a dream for surfers or anyone craving a laid-back escape. With six private ramada bungalows around a shared pool in a peaceful, jungle-like setting, and just a five-minute walk to the beach, it’s the perfect blend of comfort and nature. Alex, the manager, is incredibly attentive. The food is local, delicious, and available nearly anytime—shoes optional. You’ll find surf clips or music playing in the open-air restaurant, along with ice cream, paletas, and refillable water. The bungalows are cozy, well-designed, and have strong A/C—ideal after a beach day. Thoughtful touches like spots to hang wet towels make it feel like home. Pack light, stay casual, and enjoy. We can’t wait to come back.

Great place. Quick responses. I was booking a couple of hours before check-in and the response was very efficient, and very flexible. He gave me very clear directions that facilitated my arrival at the place.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean. having the privacy of our own garage for the car is a bonus. The house was really close to everything, food, shopping, etc. Communication with the host was easy. We would definitely rent this place again

I made the reservation for my family and they absolutely loved it! It was a last minute booking but the host was very accommodating, super responsive, and super friendly. Extremely grateful for the hosts flexibility! My family said the place was easy to find, spacious, clean, and they felt right at home. Definitely recommend this place and would book again.

Our family traveled from all over the US to El Salvador, and this property was the perfect place for our gathering. The beds were comfortable and each room was equipped with air conditioning, making it easy to sleep through the warm nights. The location is ideal, with many beachfront restaurants nearby, so we could easily enjoy local cuisine and the beautiful views. Francisco, the caretaker, and the rest of the staff were exceptional. They always made sure we had clean towels, and the pool was consistently well-maintained for us to enjoy. Additionally, Francisco went above and beyond by helping us with some car issues, saving us time and ensuring we had a smooth vacation experience. A special thank you to Rolando for making our stay so memorable. This was our second stay at Casa Maracol and we’re already planning our next visit. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable place in El Salvador.
