Super nice apartment, very close to the lake and the main street. Only beware that the garage entrance is a little tight so better if u are driving a small car. For.the rest, a very responsive and nice host.

Spent Christmas at Elaine's with my parents and girlfriend. We had a lovely time at the lake for our holiday. The property is lovely, it has everything you could need and is in a great location. We enjoyed going for swims in the lake everyday off of the jetty, kayaked on Christmas day and visited the other villages on the lake. Elaine and Lee were extremely helpful. Pre-arrival they offered advice regarding how to get to the property. Whilst staying with them, we were given recommendations, bought fish from the local seller and Lee helped my dad to buy tickets for Tikal (Guatemalan card needed to buy the tickets online). Elaine and Lee have taken in a number of dogs and cats that were abandoned. The dogs and cats were really sweet. That being said the dogs were up early in the morning shortly after sunrise so worth being aware of this. On Christmas day, Elaine shared tamales and ponche with us too! All in all a really great stay and lovely holiday. Would definitely recommend.

The airbnb is beautiful! A large house with a local and aesthetic design. If you are looking for a more local experience and stay I would definitely recommend Magdalena is wonderful, and was very communicative and ready to accommodate to any of our needs. Overall a great house that holds great energy given the people you rent it from are also amazing and good people!

Wow. We felt right at home as soon as we pulled on the street in our 4 minute Tuk Tuk from the town center. Christian welcomed us warmly as family and showed us the house and even helped recommend things to do as well as food. The space is beautiful and homey. His wife made us some amazing home made bread as well. The place is big and the kitchen is well stocked with essentials. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous and serene. We spent time reading and lounging on the hammocks during a rain storm and also during sunny afternoon. We also walked 5 minutes down to the beach to watch sunrise and chill. This was one of the best stays we’ve had so far in Guatemala. It’s truly special to be welcomed to a beautiful home like this. Thank you & we can’t wait to come back again !!

By far, the best of the 4 places we stayed in while in Guatemala. We felt very comfortable and were able to get great sleep. We visited with our 4 kids to attend community Spanish school and it was very close by and easy to go back and for the to school. Easy access to town center by TukTuk. Washer and dryer was such a blessing. It was easy to regulate the temp in the house as there were a few windows with screens so we could leave them open without worrying about flies coming in. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

My family group of seven (3 families) had an amazing stay here! The house fit us perfectly and the downstairs space was perfect for us all to gather and chat. We loved the pool and jacuzzi but the view was the best of all. The location is great with easy walking access to Sam Marcos, a quick boat ride to San Juan, and we loved jumping off the rocks that are just a quick paddle away. Thanks so much!

Wonderfully located nearby many great shops and restaurants. About 5 min or less walk to the lake for unbelievable views of the water and volcanoes. Lovely friendly area, lots to do! Loved Panajachel, awaiting our return!
