Beautiful medieval village!!!

ScarlettRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a perfect stay at this beautiful apartment in the lovely San Gusme village. Elvira was an amazing host, going out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Had some amazing local recommendations and was overall a faultless host. The village and scenery is unbelievable with plenty to do nearby - we rented a car which I do heavily recommend as the location is somewhat remote. Zero complaints!! Had an amazing trip and would definitely return. Thank you Elvira! ❤️❤️

Bertinga - charming house - nature pools close by

KimRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our group of 4 loved our stay at Bertinga. The rustic farmhome was a great spot to unwind and relax, watch the grapes in the vineyards be harvested, and wander down to the pools in the nearby streamlet. Bertinga was well-equipped and very clean; the 3 bathrooms were spotless and large, as were the bedrooms. Most evenings we returned from our outings to savor a glass of wine while overlooking the vineyard and then build a very simple dinner of pasta and salad. We really enjoyed going into Lecchi to the Bar for early lunch while chatting with folks in town before heading out to explore Tuscany. We also enjoyed Studio Radianza, the ceramics shop in Lecchi (the artist is Lei, who lives in the Bertinga apartment adjacent to the house) and dinner at Ristorante Malborghetto. The location is perfect for day trips to hilltop towns, castles and wineries. I hope we can return sometime in the future!!

Ancient stone unique house/Chianti

A.C.Rating, 5 stars6 months ago
Because of the gorgeous remoteness, it took us some time to locate the entrance gate, but then we entered heaven. The place is captivating in so many ways - the historic stone structure, the entrancing views, the homey & artistic decor. It was like visiting a friend and being welcomed into a warm family retreat. Prepare to cocoon as there is no nearby store and few restaurant options. The roads were in poor condition due to recent severe storms, so it was an adventure to make our way in the evening to Castellina for dinner and back . The road in the opposite direction toward Radda was completely closed! But I loved our short stay and will dream of returning.
