Private own-door guest suite in a quiet home in Sandymount, one of Dublin's prettiest urban villages - just 4km from the city centre, a 20 minute drive from the airport and a 15 minute walk to the RDS or the Aviva Stadium. You'll find a host of amenities on the doorstep and easy access to the city by bus or train. Enjoy a stroll on Sandymount Strand (200m away) after a day of sight-seeing, before sampling one of the many great eateries on our doorstep. You'll be spoiled for choice!
“This little tiny house is perfect for couples looking a alternative city break. Being centrally located just 10 minutes south from the city centre is handy but you will not want to go near the city. Just a 2 minute walk away you will either be beside a beautiful beach with a lovely walk through irishtown nature park towards the great south wall and poolbeg lighthouse or you can dander into a original Irish town centre with traditional pubs, restaurants and quirky coffee shops. If you are up for travelling Dún Laoghaire is a short distance away and a stunning coastal location worth a walk around with shops and a nice harbour to sit take in the sailing, the seals or classic fish and chips. Clodagh and Luna are excellent hosts whom will definitely look after you in the best way. She is full of local knowledge and is easily contactable if any queries. Would 100% recommend this spot for anyone looking a break.”
Private room available in picturesque Sandymount village - 5 minutes train from Dublin City Centre and 5 minutes walk from Beach. Perfect location to reach Dublin City Centre while enjoying the delights of Sandymount beach and village.
“Second time staying at Michael and Tula's place. Same observations as before. Great location for access to city centre being near train and bus routes. Right beside Sandymount Village with its restaurants and pubs. Great hosts. Would recommend”
Spacious suite apartment, Amazingly located apartment in the quiet quarter of Temple Bar a few mins walk from Trinity College, Dublin Castle, City Hall, Grafton Street, St Patricks and Christchurch Cathedrals.
“Micheál is a wonderful host - warm, friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area in terms of tourism and history. Due to our travel arrangements, he kindly agreed to meet us earlier than the suggested check-in time which saved us from wandering around with our bags for ages! He took us to the flat and we chatted for a while, which helped us to feel settled and comfortable. The flat itself was sparkling clean, with towels, bed sheets and kitchen essentials like tea and coffee ready to go! The living space is very roomy, with a good quality speaker, which made for perfect mornings sat on the balcony with a fresh coffee whilst watching the morning start in the centre of temple bar. The bed is comfortable, which is needed after long days of walking and exploring the beautiful city. The apartment block itself is very safe and secure and warm. Travel to and from the flat is very easy, given the central location, and there are small bakeries and shops right on the doorstep. I would highly recommend Micheál and his flat to anyone looking for a city trip with a relaxing and comfortable flat to recharge in - absolutely brilliant and thank you so much! We will definitely be returning!”
